Sarah Palin Reduced Medicaid Backlog 83% In Two Years. Saved Senior Citizens From The Horrors Of Government Run Health Care

Fresh off of taking the health care debate to a whole new level, and exposing the immorality of it all, Sarah Palin has released some very interesting statistics that prove her bonafides on health care issues.

Released through her Facebook page, Palin lays out how she fought the Alaska Legislature to make sure senior citizens didn’t have to wait for quality health care.

Now obviously this shows that Sarah is someone who gets things done. Someone who actually serves the people. But more importantly, this proves what Sarah and all of those who oppose Obama’s attempt to forcibly destroy the best health care in the world have been saying.

What could be a better predictor of how things would end up with the government running health care?

Yes, there will be health care rationing, that’s what was going on in Alaska until Sarah stepped in. Unfortunately, under Obamacare, there will be no one to intervene on behalf of America’s senior citizens.

You know, this sort of thing is exactly what Sarah was talking about when she used the words “death panels.”

Now of course, the media, the democrat/communists and our RINO friends all blew a gasket over that comment and ran around trying to deal with it. Even Obama was compelled to clumsily try and refute it in his Portsmouth, NH faux townhall event.

These Ivy League brainiacs couldn’t understand what all of us uneducated rubes know instinctively. Now will there LITERALLY be “death panels,” a group of people that an individual will have to stand before and be judged?

Of course not.

These government types aren’t brave enough to face people in person. But there will be a group of “medical advisors” who will make up a board that determines who is eligible, as a group, for certain health care procedures. This group will look at cold hard data, not warm human beings as they decide.

The other problem is money. America is already broke. We owe more money now than we can ever pay back. As this actually starts effecting the government’s ability to function, there will be rationing and long waits for service. It’s inevitable.

Every nation that has socialized medicine rations care. People die quite often waiting for doctors to treat major illnesses. There are plenty of stories of people in nations with socialized care who die of cancer that could have been successfully treated had they gotten early care and diagnosis.

All of these things, and more are what Sarah was talking about when she spoke of the metaphoric “death panels.” These panels are the ones who set up the standards and practices as well as the bean counters who have to stick to a budget.

But enough of that, let’s look at the release from Sarah Palin”s office:

“Contrary to some assertions, Sarah Palin has a strong record supporting Alaskan seniors. For example, Governor Palin successfully obtained approval for a five year extension of a state program that provided monthly cash payments to low-income seniors.

On May 23, 2007, using a rarely invoked emergency regulation, Governor Palin ordered assistance benefits to continue for Alaska’s neediest seniors after the Alaska legislature failed to fund the SeniorCare Program. After her action, the legislature responded, and on July 28, 2007, Governor Palin signed Senate Bill 4 to continue support for low-income Alaskan seniors by adopting the Senior Benefits Program. “This program continues important assistance to Alaska seniors,” Governor Palin said. “I promised that seniors would not go hungry, and we worked with the Alaska Legislature to address this critical need.” It was estimated that 10,700 Alaskan seniors would be able to benefit under the program.

Also under Governor Palin’s tenure, on December 19, 2008, the state stepped in and took over the Mary Conrad Center, an Anchorage nursing home, when the state determined that there was “‘immediate danger to the health, safety or welfare’ of its residents.”

So, with this clear record of support and care for Alaska’s seniors by Governor Palin, what is the current criticism about? According to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, prior to Governor Palin’s election in November 2006, in April of 2006, in an effort to control rapidly increasing costs for home health care providers, known as the PCA program, Governor Frank Murkowski’s administration implemented a screening process for Alaska Medicaid eligible persons by using a Level of Care assessment (LOC). The LOC assessment was designed for persons who would otherwise require hospitalization or nursing home care and was intended to help weed out fraud and abuse.

By definition, many of these people were ill, elderly or disabled and thus in need of personal care attendants to assist them. Only registered nurse assessors were allowed to evaluate consumers to determine if they qualified for PCA care. The job of assessing consumers was contracted out, but the State of Alaska DHHS determined that the hired contractor had too much backlog. Notably, under federal Medicaid strictures, the State could not get another private business to bid on the contract. So the State was forced to take over the job in November 2007. However, the State DHHS was unable to eliminate the backlog using its own staff, and the backlog then grew. The Federal DHHS temporarily suspended new admissions to the PCA program pending audit compliance to handle the backlog of existing cases and come up with a plan to speed the assessment process. The suspension has been lifted as of August 12.

Further, Gov. Palin’s FY 2009 budget clearly showed her analysis of the issue as of December 2007, and described both the problem and the solution long before the federal government got involved. The backlog issue was discussed and a plan proposed for improvement.

The graph below shows that under Gov. Palin (2007 and 2008) the backlog problem was dramatically reduced, from 30.9% in 2005 to 4.5% in 2008. Looking at these data, one can conclude that Gov. Palin substantially reduced the outstanding percentage of Medicaid assessments by 83%.

What is the lesson in all of this? Even with good intentions, the government generally cannot provide better health care services than the private sector. Beware of complex federal laws purporting to offer government health care. For those who want nationalized medicine, take heed of this lesson.”

Time and time again Sarah Palin proves that she has the leadership qualities America is looking for. While the NYC/D.C. Beltway “educated elites” are stuck in a quagmire of mediocrity and confusion, Sarah has already been there, done that, and got the t-shirt from it!

Sarah’s experience with government run health care, and it’s dangerous and disastrous effects on human beings, should serve as a major warning to all. You do not want the government to have anything to do with how you basic needs to quality health care are met. Might as well commit suicide and get it over with.

It still amazes me how the Republican party is tackling this issue. Now granted, there are some sharp folks working behind the scenes crafting real reform, but they aren’t getting themselves heard. For the most part though the message from the Republicans to the democrat/communists is a hearty “slow down.”

Oh My….Barack Obama Caught Astroturfing!

My oh my. Obama and the democrats have just been hoisted by their own petard!

This is really and truly delicious. If you saw Barack Obama’s totally staged townhall meeting in Portsmouth, NH, you saw something right out of central casting. I mean that was some serious stagecraft.

We’ve all seen the many highly contentious townhall meetings on TV, and you simply don’t see a quiet, gentle, supportive crowd. It just ain’t happening!

What you do see are some angry middle aged and senior citizens who are not taking this lying down! You see people who have never done anything political in their lives who have become activists!

So this precious moment during Obama’s campaign stop just didn’t pass the smell test. The second person “randomly selected” to ask the Dear Leader a question was young Julie Hall. She asks her question at 29m:25s into the video.

Julia read the following question off a piece of paper: “As I was walking in I saw a lot of signs outside saying mean things about reforming healthcare. How do kids know what is true and why do people want a new system that can help more of us”.

Yeah, that was totally spontaneous.

Of course those “mean things” were on posters being held by angry Americans who weren’t allowed under the big tent to participate. No dissent allowed in Hopey Changey Land!

Of course, this “totally unrehearsed and random comment” gave Obama a perfect lead in to talk about Sarah Palin’s brilliant “death panel” comment that has all of the democrats scrambling, as well as talking about not killing grandma off. And of course, blame it all on the Republicans (who don’t have enough votes to stop anything.)

The fact that there will be, in fact, defacto “death panels” has been discussed everywhere, so we’ll let that be for now.

The important thing here to know is who sweet little Julie Hall is. You would think in this day and age if someone is going to go out and pretend to be just some civilian off the street, they’d either delete their Facebook account, or radically change it up. But we are dealing with liberals here, not exactly brain surgeons.

The democrat are crashing and burning on the health care issue. Scott Rasmussen’s latest poll has support for Obamacare at a new low and circling the drain.

Obama’s townhall was a rambling, incoherent mess. He told many whoppers, like the fact that AARP is supporting his plan. They have come out and said they are not, and did that long before Obama’s NH dog and pony show.

He also brought up the Post Office vs UPS and Fed Ex as a sales pitch for government run health care.

Seriously!

It was just a very bad day.

What makes this delicious is all of the crowing the democrats, who invented political astroturfing, have been doing in regard to the real grass roots activism that millions of Americans are getting involved in.

Madam Pelosi has continued her outright hatred towards the ordinary American people by pronouncing the townhall protesters astroturf too. And Obama himself was a trainer of “thugs for hire” back in his ACORN days! And he had zero problem with calling out the union kneebreakers from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) to beat up some unarmed American patriots who have attended townhalls to protest.

All of this disgraceful talk about honest Americans prompted AstroTurf Chairman Michael Dennis to come out and express his outrage that these sleazy democrats were using his product to attack the American people.

As if to double down on stupidity, a democrat party specialty, Nancy Pelosi dragged her number two man Steny Hoyer, along for a great little op-ed, where she called the patriotic men and women who oppose their insane communist plans “un-American!”

Amazingly, for 8 long years we heard these same loons lecture us that dissent was the truest form of patriotism. That speaking truth to power was cool. Now it’s a crime against the state!

For the most part, the American public has gotten decidedly tired of the democrats. The democrat party lies to the American people when the truth would work better.

Sarah Palin Slaps Down Barack Obama Hard On His Government Take Over Of Health Care And Issues A Call To Action We Must All Answer!

As is her style, Governor Sarah Palin came out swinging on the health care debate that has turned America on it’s ear, and is destroying the Obama presidency right before his eyes.

Sarah, who has two sets people the democrat/communist party would just as soon let die, takes this very seriously. Obviously, Sarah’s parents Chuck and Sally are older, and ripe for picking off when the rationed health care comes around. And her youngest son, Trig, who has Down Syndrome, is someone the radical left wing is angry at Sarah over the fact that she ever allowed him to be born in the first place!

And if you don’t believe me, just go to any radical left wing hate site like the Huffington Post, Daily Kos, or Democrat Underground. I call them radical the left, but the democrat/communist party, as a whole, has skewed so far left, that these vile hate sites are “mainstream” for that sick political party. These hate sites, and others, have continually attacked Sarah, and Trig himself.

“As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Sarah mentions some serious heavyweights such as preeminent economist Thomas Sowell, a Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow from the Hoover Institute, as well as our greatest conservative leader, and President, Ronald Reagan. If an American would just study Sowell and Reagan, they would see the right path to get America on track again, and defeat the democrat/communists before they destroy the nation completely.

In fact this video of Ronald Reagan must be taught to every American. It must be taught as a course of study in our schools!

Now, more than ever, I am convinced that Barack Obama and the democrat communist party are absolutely on an insane path to remake America in a way that is no where even close to what America has always been. They want to build an authoritative communist state the likes of which this world has never known. A totalitarian regime where average Americans are nothing more than slaves to the state.

Much has been written about the insane radicals and their vile ideology that Barack Obama has marinated in since birth. Many people have written about these worthless America hating communist troublemakers, so I won’t rehash here. I did cover some of it in my earlier piece “We Are The New Counterculture” but a trip to your favorite search engine will teach you all you need to know about all of Obama’s incredibly radical, dangerous, and anti-American friends.

One of the more dangerous things Obama has done is completely usurp the Constitution and the Senate’s responsibilities of advise and consent. The President can appoint cabinet members and pretty much elevate, or demote any position to cabinet level at his digression. But, all cabinet members must be completely vetted and go through an aggressive confirmation process by the Senate. This is a basic constitutional duty of the Senate, and part of the very ingenious checks and balances system our founders put into the Constitution.

Now Obama has a group of some of the most clinically insane, left wing kooks that ever walked the face of the earth working for him. No way in the world these people even get a Senate hearing, let alone pass one. So Obama’s solution, an unconstitutional one, is to appoint Czars. We have more Czars than Russia had in it’s day. We almost have as many Czars as we have had Presidents, and he’s still adding more!

There are so many absolute nuts involved in this deal that it turns ones stomach. American Thinker has a nice primmer, and Glenn Beck has been running a series on his Fox News show daily on these people. Rather than wear the reader out, I’m just going to ask people to do their own research, as there is plenty out there to learn from!

But to just give you a random idea about these crazies, and the extent of how insane they are, one of these nuts was for putting some sort of chemical in the nation’s water supply that would sterilize the population thus “saving the planet.” Another nut-job wanted to paint the roofs and streets white! One wants animals to have the same constitutional rights as humans!

Now again, I’m not talking about some hippies in a commune, or some ultra radical underground eco-terrorists. These people work for, and are accountable only to, the President of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, who himself is under the delusion that he is accountable to no one!

In other words, these insane left wing malcontents have the ear, the attention, and the interest of the President of the United States. This should give you nightmares, if you can sleep at all!

Sarah mentioned Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel in her statement. This cat is the brother of Obama’s Chief-of-Staff, Rahm Emanuel, nothing more than a fancy thug himself, who has been known to send dead fish to people who he wants to intimidate. But this guy is a teddy bear compared to his brother Ezekiel. Were he alive today, I’m thinking Dr Joseph Mengele might just say something like “Hey Zeek, maybe you need to learn some humanity!”

There is something about the communist that just weirds me out. They are completely soulless. Just cold blooded, unfeeling, uncaring creatures.

Anyway, Dr Zeek is someone that, in the context of the health care debate, may be the most evil man alive. This is a guy who advocates denying health care to old people, disabled people, and other’s deemed unimportant to society. And Dr Zeek is Obama’s point man on the health care legislation. His Czar.

Knowing this makes me sick to my stomach.

Look, “progressives” as they call themselves now, have always been some sick, racist puppies. To the democrat/communist party, Planned Parenthood is the holy church, and abortion the holy sacrament. They derive some very perverse pleasure knowing they can destroy human life at will. Play God, so to speak.

One can only imagine the excitement these devils must be feeling knowing they will be able to play God, not only over the unborn, but every single American, deciding at will, who lives and dies via their death panels. I can hear the corks popping on the champagne bottles now, as they celebrate their power!

And of course, Barack Obama is the absolute sickest. He even supports infanticide. Obama has supported legislation that would allow a doctor to murder a baby who “survived an abortion attempt” or as humans call it, being born! It’s as vile as it gets.

This is a man, when talking about sex ed and his daughters, said he wouldn’t want his girls “punished” with a child. This man, like many crazed dictators, has some serious physiological issues.

This sort of stuff is nothing new to progressives though. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood was a suspected member of the Ku Klux Klan, and a Nazi collaborator. Just like most of those who surround Obama and advise him on the health care issues, Sanger was a leading proponent of eugenics, a really evil science.

In fact, some say it was her work that caught Adolf Hitler’s eye, and even inspired and justified his own Holocaust against the Jewish people, who he found inferior.

The bottom line on this, is these people are incredibly dangerous, and have absolutely no use for the common man. They are elitists. They think only they can know what is best for you.

Even worse, they really don’t care if the entire nation is against what they want to do, they know better than you ever will, what is right for you. Don’t believe ‘em, just ask ‘em!

And it’s not just Obama and his Chicago street thugs that he brought with him. It’s the entire democrat/communist party. It’s Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. It’s Steny Hoyer and Dick Durbin. It’s Barney Frank, John Conyers, and Charlie Rangel.

The democrat/communist party along with the President of the United States is literally at war with the American people. They are calling normal every day Americans who have never protested a thing in their life, a “mob”, or some sort of Republican hit squad. Never mind that many of these very angry people are registered democrats and independents!

Now this is pathetic on their part but it makes me laugh in lot of ways. I still remember the angry, bordering on violent, protestors from groups like Code Pink who routinely shouted down or physically attacked anyone they disagreed with. When one protested about their barbaric, uncivilized antics, we were screamed at and told it was the ultimate in patriotism to speak “truth to power.” Well, now that these hateful people are in power, it’s a crime against the state to disagree with the Dear Leader!

Even better, you are supposed to spy on your family and friends, and report even their most intimate conversations in disagreement to the White House!

Of course what really makes this ridiculous is the fact that Obama’s one real claim to fame is being a community organizer! Now evidently, the average democrat voter is just clueless, because I’ve had them talk about all of the things these groups do. I guess they think these rent-a-thug enterprises otherwise know as community organizations spend their day planting gardens and cleaning up parks or something. The truth is, these are militant groups that are nothing more than a mob for hire, and generally used to extort something from someone.

We all know that ACORN’s mobs played a huge part in forcing bankers to give loans to people who should have never gotten one, based on their ability to repay them. And ACORN is directly responsible for the mortgage crisis that put our economy in a death spiral in the first place. ACORN also went after the AIG executives recently, actually busing these thugs to the executives’ homes all in an attempt to extort money through intimidation.

Obama’s job at ACORN was to train these rent-a-thugs on the finer points of communist Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals” or, how to intimidate your opponent through mob tactics.

But, now that ordinary everyday Americans, who have never spoken up in their lives are exercising their God given rights, as protected by the Constitution, they are enemies of the state! People who must be stopped at any cost!

I call Obama a communist, because well, he most certainly is. And with their bent, I’ve taken to calling the party, the democrat/communist party, which with their direction, is rather kind. The amount of evil that emits from this group is palpable.

Look, we know on Obama’s night stand he has a very worn, dog eared copy of Alinsky’s “Rules”, you can look on any of these democrat/communist politicians’ night stands and find that. They hand those out at college like ACORN hands out voter registration cards to anyone with a pulse!

I’m pretty sure Obama has the book his soul mate Hugo Chavez gave him a while back, “The Post-American World” written by Fareed Zakaria. as well.

But from Obama’s latest thuggery, I’d bet my bottom dollar he has a mint condition copy of Mein Kamf right there for handy reference as well.

I’m not an expert on pre-war Germany by any stretch of the imagination, but I’ve always been interested in that period of time. Might be because my dad was part of that generation, but WWII, the events that lead up to it, and all the went on around it, have always interested me.

The comparisons to pre-war Nazi Germany, and Obama’s little 7 months in office are staggering. Just the symbolism alone is enough to seal the deal for me!

Of course, the Nazis and the communists , even though enemies in practice, were really the different sides of the same coin. Not a whole lot of difference between socialism and communism when you get right down to it. But both groups have this obsession with symbolism, glorified photos of their Dear Leaders, signage, and the like. If you look at Obama’s symbol for his health care death cult it is straight out of the Nazi party clip art book, just “modernized” for your viewing sensibilities!

More and more Obama is not only adopting the Nazi look, but the Nazi tactics. For those that don’t know, Nazi is a very shortened version of the real name, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or National Socialist German Workers’ Party. The Nazi’s were simply socialists, no real difference between them and the current democrat/communist party.

Anyway, however you want to slice it, Obama is using Hitler’s play book. He and the leaders of the democrat/communist party have started verbally attacking the American people because they dare to tell them as Sarah puts it, “Not no, but hell no!”

Americans are fed up with the direction Obama is taking the nation and are speaking out en masse.

The Obama thugacracy is blaming all of this on the Republican party, which save for a few brave souls, is pretty useless at this point, and totally out of power. I mean Obama and his democrat/communist party are in total control. They can pass absolutely anything without a single Republican vote. The problem is, they know that many of them will be retired after 2010 by the voting public, provided we have elections in 2010. The American people have had it! So Obama and his thugs are looking to blame Republicans for their failure.

Now one thing Hitler did as he built up his various private armies and groups of brown shirts, was to use the labor union thugs as his enforcers. Enter the Service Employees International Union. (SEIU)

Barack Obama, the thug community organizer that he is, had the audacity to tell his democrat/communist Congress, and the SEIU thugs to “punch back twice as hard” at the American citizens protesting Obama’s radical attempt to destroy the American way of life, a way of life that has endured more than two centuries.

This is the sort of tactic Obama told his campaign people to use during the election when he told his thugs to “get in peoples faces!” You can almost hear Adolf’s sweet voice as he most likely said similar words in the Munich beer halls just before his election!

Pamela Geller has the story of what happened Thursday night in St Louis at a town hall meeting. It was deplorable, and very un-American. The big fat union thugs wearing purple t-shirts with SEIU in yellow, in place of the customary brown shirt more familiar to the Nazis, attacked and severely beat an unarmed black man handing out patriotic material. You know, flags, buttons, and so on.

Kenneth Gladney was jumped by a group of these worthless thugs, beaten to the ground, and then kicked.

I’ve seen Mr Gladney in several Fox TV interviews with his attorney. This is a very typical American. Mild mannered, quiet and reserved. Just a seemingly very nice person. To be singled out, cursed and severely beaten by a group of thugs, sanctioned by the President of the United States, is absolutely unheard of in this nation!

The last time something even remotely like this happened in America was on March 5, 1770. Within 6 years, we were fighting a revolution and birthed a new nation.

Look, I know this started out as a report and commentary on Governor Sarah Palin’s very personal take on Obama’s misdeeds. But this issue is so much larger than even Sarah Palin.

We all look to Sarah Palin as our natural leader in the struggle against Obama, his thugs, and communism. Whereas Obama represents tyranny, enslavement to a central government that wants to control your every thought and deed, a vile and distasteful vision to all Americans, Sarah Palin is just the opposite.

Sarah represents everything that is good, and great about America. Her life story is quintessential Americana. A self made woman who literally went from a cabin in the woods to becoming one of the most powerful figures in American politics. Sarah Palin represents liberty and freedom. Sarah Palin represents a deep love for America that all true Americans have. She also represents a deep love for the rule of law, and our most sacred political document, the Constitution. A document that is the envy of the world!

It’s not by accident that Sarah was the first Governor in the nation to sign into law a statute affirming the sovereignty of her state under the 10^th Amendment of the Constitution. Sarah clearly understands the vision our founding fathers had of a small weak central government, with a strong network of sovereign states that were mostly left alone to govern their own citizens as they saw fit. The main purpose of the united part of the United States was for the mutual benefit of all of the several states when it came to international trade and national defense as well as being a referee in case of disputes between the several states.

In short, Sarah is a Federalist, a constructionist. Someone who understands just how wise our founders were, and how the progressive movement’s century long move toward a centralized communist government is wrong, and has done grave damage to the nation, it’s people, and it’s prosperity.

But as I say often, Sarah Palin is not a mythical savior. Sarah is possibly one of the greatest leaders in our nation’s history. Many millions most certainly feel very strongly she is. But Sarah is still a mortal. Unlike those who drank the hopenchange brand of Kool-Aid who think Obama is some sort of messiah, I think Sarah’s supporters understand that she is human. But she is a very special human, made from the greatest stock on earth, the American Spirit!

So, instead of sitting around and waiting for Sarah to come in and save us, for her to do all of heavy lifting, it’s up to all of us, the everyday American to take the inspiration this remarkable woman gives us all, and get off the couch and into the game!

Look, for those that don’t know, SEIU and ACORN are joined at the hip. They even share more than a few office buildings around the country and that mysterious little converted funeral home at 1024 Elysian Fields in New Orleans. Here is an interesting read if you don’t already know about these thugs.

Like Hitler, Obama will use the ACORN and SEIU thugs to do his dirty work. They will be his brown shirts until he can build that private army he talked about during the election. An army, as he put it, “as powerful and well funded as the military.”

One thing we have to be mindful of is Hitler’s tactics. Think about what Obama has done. He has openly sent a bunch of thugs to attack unarmed American citizens. Now Americans, as a whole, are pretty well armed. Most gun owners understand the real reason why our founders wanted to make sure EVERY American, with very few exceptions, was armed.

Our founders had just fought a revolution where the British had attempted to confiscate all weapons before the uprising. Why do you think the democrat/communists have REALLY been trying to unarm the American public for the last 100 years?

Anyway, our founders knew if the people were as well armed as the government, the government would behave!

As Thomas Jefferson said:

“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny, when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”

One thing you must be very cautious of, Obama, like Hitler, is devious and evil. History buffs know of the famous Reichstag Fire in Germany. History tells us that was a put-up job. Hitler had the Parliament burned and blamed it on the opposition. He used this event to pretty much install himself as dictator for life.

We all know Obama’s love for despots around the world, and I am certain in his dreams he sees himself as Dear Leader for life, ruling over his communist utopia. So as much as some may want to show these SEIU and ACORN thugs a thing or two with the business end of your favorite side arm, resist it with all of your might. We don’t need to give Obama a chance to set himself up as King!

If the time ever comes, we’ll all know when. By then saving the nation will be a lot less important than just starting over with the adults in charge.

So, when you go to the rallies, the tea parties, and the town halls, take friends, and take cameras. Take plenty of video and document everything. Every time you see a purple-shirted SEIU thug, or a red-shirted ACORN thug, make sure their every breath is documented by multiple cameras. Hopefully they will have the good sense to behave. But if not, you will have it all on tape.

Probably a good idea to have the local police on speed dial as well!

But don’t give Obama the satisfaction of his very own Reichstag Fire!

Do, however, get involved in absolutely any and every way you can to stop Obama, and the entire democrat/communist party. Get ready to work harder than you ever have in your life to put solid Ronald Reagan/Sarah Palin conservatives into every seat that is up for election, not only nationally, but locally as well. If a guy or gal is running for dog catcher and can’t quote Reagan at length, go find someone else!

That’s how we win this, and that’s how we take the country back!

Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia Is On The Run And Angry The Spotlight Is On Them

The past week has been truly incredible and truly busy. So busy in fact, this is the first time I have stopped long enough to actually write about how incredible things have been and what has been going on.

Most know that our group has been writing about the democrat/communist party operatives in Alaska, their attempts at destroying Sarah Palin by continually filing bogus ethics complaints, and then illegally publicizing them.

If you don’t know, it’s illegal to disclose any information about an ongoing ethics investigation. Oddly enough, under the law, if you do this to a legislator, the complaint is thrown out and not considered. For some reason, even though it is still illegal, there is no punishment, and the complaint still stands if you do it to the Governor. How convenient.

Anyway, even though this stuff has been out there, and anyone who cares knows the names of Jeanne Devon, Linda Kellen Biegel, Shannyn Moore, Amanda Coyne, Sondra Tompkins, and Zane Henning just to name a few, no one was prepared for what has happened.

Naked Emperor News, a website that does video journalism, turned all of these Alaskan democrat/communist’s little world upside down when they released a great video, with all of the players in their own words together.

Again, we all know that Barack Obama has great ties to all of this. Obama’s then campaign chief of staff, now White House advisor, Pete Rouse, is an Alaskan. He is also great friends with former Alaska State Senator Kim Elton. I’ll get to the reason why he’s a former Senator in a second. But those two go way back having worked together on a former Alaska Lt Governor’s staff. Rouse still votes absentee in Alaska.

Everyone has heard of “Troopergate” the phony investigation, really a witch hunt, cooked up by the Alaska democrat/communist party with the help of Barack Obama. At the time CNN and others reported that Obama had been in talks with the troopers union over this. But no one seemed to care enough to stay on that story. Too busy dealing with thrills up their legs I guess.

What happened next was a conspiracy to try and harm Sarah Palin. Their hope was impeachment.

Of course, they failed, but just days before the November presidential election, Senator Kim Elton, who was ramrodding this deal, promised that Sarah Palin was going down. In the end, Sarah Palin was cleared from any wrong doing after the state personnel board reviewed the bogus Branchflower report cooked up by Steven Branchflower and Kim Elton. They slammed Branchflower’s investigation and declared Palin completely innocent.

But, the damage was done, and in pure Chicago pay-for-play thug politics, Barack Obama, upon taking office, gave Kim Elton a make work job in the Department of Interior. You can read more here.

The Naked Emperor News covers all of this, as well as the deliberate and coordinated attacks on Sarah Palin by the Alaskan democrat/communist bloggers and those filing the complaints. They even dug up audio of a radio interview where a bunch of them called in to talk about it. Of course, the bloggers still claim no collusion.

Now just like cockroaches scatter when you turn the lights on, these losers have went into panic mode. Jeanne Devon who is shown on the video several times, has, along with others, been trying as hard as possible to ban this video. She has been going after it on You Tube and elsewhere. She claims “copyright violations.”

Yeah, OK.

This is where the efforts of a dedicated group of patriots come in. They’ve all worked endlessly to make this video go viral. This video is now everywhere including international websites. I want to give a big shout out to Bob Parks who writes for the Canada Free Press and was kind enough to host the video as well as give Jeanne Devon a bit of schooling on copyright law. You can see the video here.

Now for those that don’t know, Jeanne Devon, a shopkeeper in Anchorage, is the type of person we usually describe with a word that starts with chicken but has a few more letters to it. Rather than blog out in the open,, she cries for people like Sarah Palin to be “open and transparent”, while she uses an alias. Devon, who writes for her own hate website, Mudflats, as well as the vile Huffington Post as AKMuckraker, is such a nasty woman that a Democrat legislator Mike Doogan, had enough of her and outed her to the world!

So she is going stark raving mad at this point, as is her partner in crime Linda Kellen Biegel.

So it came as no surprise this weekend when CNN employee Dennis Zaki came out with the wild story that Sarah Palin was divorcing Todd and moving to Montana. Of course, this was an out and out lie, but certainly what one expects anytime a democrat/communist opens it’s mouth, especially when they are talking about Sarah Palin!

This was an obvious, deliberate, and coordinated effort to “punish” Sarah Palin because American patriots have had enough of these vile and hateful members of the Alaska Mafia and have started fighting back.. The divorce lie was payback because the light has been shone on these losers.

Well, this started a chain reaction none of the Alaska Mafia wanted to see, I can promise you!

First to weigh in was super blogger and author Pamela Geller (Atlas Shrugs) who decided to turn the table on Barack Obama. Kind of a sorta Chicago deal. You pull out a knife, we’ll pull out an Abrams tank!

Of course, as always, Sarah herself put this stupidity to bed with this fantastic quote:

“Divorce Todd? Have you SEEN Todd? I may be just a renegade hockey mom, but I’m not blind!” __Sarah Palin

But the conservative bloggers weren’t done. You see everyone knows that Dennis Zaki a stringer for CNN is a known and provable liar. But where was this really coming from?

Well Zaki’s source is another one of the democrat/communist bloggers who is tied into Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia. This loser, who writes as Gryphen, has a blog called the Immoral Minority. Perfect name for a democrat/communist blog, don’t ya think?

Anyway, journalist Robert Stacy McCain was the recipient of some interesting information.

Gryphen is actually Jesse Griffin, a divorced 48 year old part time kindergarten teacher at Trailside Elementary in Anchorage. My first question is what sort of 48 year old man works part time at a kindergarten? Jesse Griffin’s only other effort seems to be spending time with his pal CNN employee Dennis Zaki making up insane stories about Sarah Palin!

You see, Jesse Griffin, who started the lie about Sarah getting divorced, is also the one who started the lie that Sarah’s youngest child, Trig, was actually Bristol’s.

Griffin is also the one behind the lie that Sarah Palin was under indictment by the FBI, which is why she was stepping down. This of course prompted the FBI to do something it rarely does, and publicly announce that, no, Sarah Palin wasn’t under any sort of investigation of any kind.

Griffin’s Immoral Minority is aligned with the other Alaska democrat/communist blogs that kept saying there was a big “iceberg” coming for Sarah Palin, and of course, all of these hate bloggers, especially Shannyn Moore and Jeanne Devon, who write for the Huffington Post, trumpeted this bogus FBI story as the iceberg.

McCain dug up some incredibly disturbing quotes from Jesse Griffin. Very vile and very troubling. If I had kids over at Trailside Elementary, I’d be concerned, especially if they were in kindergarten. This cat is certifiable!

The folks over at Flopping Aces have some interesting things to say as well.

Sarah Palin’s attorney is now involved in this deal.

OK, but you ask why bring Barack Obama into all of this, isn’t he self destructing well enough with any help? Well, yes he is. But the ties are so deep to this it just makes me mad. They wanted to impeach Richard Nixon for a lot less.

Barack Obama has ties to Alaskan’s For Truth as well as the Wasilla Project and Mythbusters. And with his man Pete Rouse’s lifelong ties to Alaska, it’s just not much of a leap to understand this deliberate and coordinated effort to destroy Sarah Palin all leads to an office somewhere at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

Case in point. Remember a week or so ago when it was illegally leaked that Sarah Palin’s Alaska Trust Fund, her legal defense fund was itself illegal?

This is typical for the Alaska Mafia. They have filed over 20 bogus ethics complains, cost the state of Alaska at minimum $2 million tax payer dollars, basically stealing $2 mil, as well as cost Sarah herself over a half million personally. So what did they do? They filed an idiotic ethics complaint saying, basically, she didn’t have a right to raise money to defend herself!

Now this complaint has not been resolved. It’s still under “investigation.” Cue up the possible Obama plant. I say possible, because I honestly can’t say for sure. But bear with me on this. I promise not to disappoint.

You see, the guy who leaked the information claiming Sarah Palin was “guilty” was the so-called “independent investigator” hired by the state to investigate Sarah Palin!

How convenient!

This “independent investigator,” Thomas Daniel, has a day job, of course. Thomas Daniel works for Perkins-Coie. Perkins-Coie is the law firm Barack Obama uses to represent him.

Oh my.

Obama has spent almost $700,000 with the law firm this year as they, among other things, represent Obama in those dozens of law suits out there challenging his eligibility to be President.

Also it’s reported that Perkin-Coie is the go to law firm for the democrat/communist party when they want to steal elections and manufacture votes.

Ahh, the circle of life.

So let me think….

The “independent investigator,” Thomas Daniel, knowingly committed a crime and leaked a story, a lie actually, to a reporter. And this “independent investigator,” Thomas Daniel; just happens to work at the same law firm the represents Barack Obama. What could possibly be wrong here?

Look, the democrat/communists want to destroy Sarah Palin. Heck, even some of the good old boy Republican losers want to stop her. The fear from both groups is palpable.

Sarah Palin is a true American patriot. This is a woman that has taken on corruption and stopped it cold. And frankly, she didn’t care that a lot of those who were corrupt were life time establishment Republicans. In fact, it seemed to delight her.

Sarah Palin strikes fear in all of the NYC/DC Beltway hacks. They know when she gets going she will destroy their little gravy train, their little fiefdoms. Sarah Palin represents anything but business as usual in politics.

Now for the democrat/communists, she is particularly dangerous. As Barack Obama and his Congress try to pass insane tax schemes like cap and tax, and destroy all freedom and liberty with this massive health care gambit, which is nothing less than and end run around the Constitution, a total usurpation, really, Sarah Palin stands there saying: “No!”

No one can draw a crowd like Sarah Palin, and unlike Mr Hopey Changey, when Sarah Palin speaks, she captivates the crowd with substance. Sarah talks about things that matter to Americans. But Sarah also talks about something else, the American Spirit.

Unlike Barack Obama and all of the democrat/communists who constantly run America down, Sarah Palin constantly speaks to America’s greatness. To Barack Obama, America’s greatest days have come and gone. But to Sarah Palin, America is that “shining city on a hill” that our great Ronald Reagan always spoke of.

Obama and the democrat/communists never miss a chance to disrespect our fine military. Sarah Palin never misses a chance to praise our wonderful service men and women, and remind Americans that the military has been fighting and dying for the them, and their liberty and freedom, for over two centuries. In fact, our brave troops volunteer to do this. They put their lives on the line for us daily. Sarah Palin’s son is serving, as well.

Basically, Sarah Palin represents real hope, and real change. She is a street fighter. A savvy woman who gets things done, a concept foreign in DC.

So, the enemy must destroy her!

Who is the enemy?

Well, it’s Barack Obama, and the democrat/communist party, for sure. They are destroying America, and usurping the Constitution, but they aren’t the only problem. They are also a lot of Republicans who have gotten fat and lazy in DC, and are not working for their employers, the American people.

So what can you do?

Well, I can state the obvious, which is to get behind Sarah Palin 100 percent!

Support Sarah through SarahPAC and the Alaska Trust Fund. You can also stand up and say, “No more!” every time some nut job makes up lies about her, or attacks her in any way.

But there is a lot more to it. You must get off the couch and get into the game. You must stand up to Barack Obama and the rest of the democrat/communists. You need to educate yourselves on all of the issues and speak up. Stop being comfortable, start being active. Your very liberty and freedom is at stake.

Go to tea parties, attend these townhalls that the politicians are setting up. Scream at them and tell them to get right, or else!

Grab all of your friends, especially those who say “I don’t do politics.” It’s up to you to make them understand that if they want liberty and freedom, they sure as hell better start “doing politics!”

Get out and support conservative candidates nationwide. 2010 counts, and will be the most important election in a century. If we can’t take Congress back with a solid conservative majority, and stop the march toward full absolute communist rule, we will no longer be a free nation, and liberty will be but a fleeting dream.

Sarah Palin is a true transformative figure in America, and a great lady, but even she can’t do this alone!

The Final Word On Quitters?

Probably not. But I found this over at the E3 Gazette and thought it put to bed the notion that a “quitter” could never go further in politics. This is also a good time to remind everyone that the last time Sarah Palin “quit” her job, she ended up taking down most of the Alaskan Republican party hierarchy as well as the Governor of Alaska!

Anyway, the folks at E3 Gazette offer up an interesting wager:

Imagine a politician who is elected to one office, then two years later loses in the Electoral College. Two years and seven months into the term of the first office, months after the loss, this politician resigns! Can you imagine such a “quitter” being elected POTUS in the next election? I’ll bet you $20 it can happen.

You’d lose the bet.

Andrew Jackson resigned his US Senate seat on October 14, 1825, after two years, seven months, and ten days in that six-year term. For those keeping score, that’s a dozen days fewer than Sarah Palin served of her four-year term as Governor of Alaska. He won the 1828 election for President, the first to do so in the “Democratic Party” faction he formed from the “Democratic-Republican Party”. So the next time you hear a Democrat talk about a “quitter”, remind them about Old Hickory.

Something more up to date but equally appropriate is a look at Ronald Reagan, the nation’s last great conservative leader, and one of our greatest Presidents. Reagan was generally disliked by the media, the democrats, the beltway elites, and the Rockefeller wing of the Republican party, the ones we today call RINOs.

Reagan was said to stupid, a B-movie actor who worked with chimps. (They always forgot he was a two term Governor of California…much like some, including Obama called Palin the Mayor of Wasilla) Reagan was said to be lazy, intellectually uncurious, a right wing nut, a warmonger, and much more.

The thing to remember about people is they generally attack who they fear the most. Just like Reagan, if Palin was such a dolt, such a joke, they wouldn’t be spending so much time trying to marginalize her.

In the last election a lot of people were upset because they perceived that the left “chose our candidate” because John McCain was the left’s “favorite Republican” and they propped him up, only to tear him down when the actual campaign against Obama started.

Well, I say this time we should let the left pick our candidate for us, as well!

In fact, they already have. You don’t see the democrats spending one minute of time attacking Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee. Not one minute. But they have thrown every dirty trick in the book at Sarah Palin to stop her.

Unfortunately for them, Sarah Palin won’t go!

A quitter indeed.

George Soros Group Attacking Sarah Palin Again

I’ve written before about some of the connections between the groups attacking Sarah Palin and both George Soros and Barack Obama. They are all intertwined. And as Soros’ group MoveOn.org famously said after the 2004 presidential election, regarding the democrat party: “It’s ours, we paid for it!”

MoveOn came into being during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal that saw President Clinton impeached for lying under oath during a sexual harassment law suit, as well as suborning perjury when he asked Monica Lewinsky to do the same.

The who idea was to get America to “move on” from the Lewinsky scandal. Since then, the Soros funded group has morphed into just another arm of the democrat party.

I have referred to Soros as a real live version of the James Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, or even a non endearing version of Mike Myers’ Dr Evil. But there is absolutely nothing funny about Soros, and unfortunately, there is no 007 working to stop him. But make no mistake, Soros is just as dangerous as anything to come out of Ian Fleming’s fertile imagination.

As this little primer points out, Soros is an evil man who has spent a lifetime destroying others for his benefit. He survived WWII by being a Nazi collaborator. He made in billions by manipulating currency, and profiting off of others suffering. He is very far left leaning, is most definitely a communist, like Barack Obama.

My friend, the Red Diva has put together a great bit of information on George Soros, a follow the money sort of thing that I’d like to share with all of you. With her permission, of course.

Governor Sarah Palin’s resignation speech of July 3, 2008, along with the reasons she provided, were obviously exactly what the Palin supporters wanted to hear. When the funding report for Palin’s SarahPAC was filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), the Anchorage Daily News (ADN) reported that through June 30, the political action fund had received almost $733,000 in donations since being established roughly six months ago. Meg Stapleton, SarahPAC spokesperson, added that since the resignation announcement, another $200,000 has been received.

Following her announcement in early July, Governor Palin began speaking out about the injustice she sees with Mr. Obama’s new policies for America. One of the areas in which the knowledge and wisdom of Sarah Palin should have special attention paid is her expertise in the field of energy. She wrote an op-ed piece which appeared in the Washington Post on July 14, 2009. She correctly pointed out the short-comings of the cap-and-trade bill Mr. Obama has pushed so secretively to the American people using his Democrat – controlled Congress.

On a day when Andree McLeod filed yet another ethics charge (number 20, if you’re counting), CNN is now reporting that MoveOn.org has begun sending e-mails to its members asking them to fund a response ad “blasting Palin’s new Washington Post op-ed. “MoveOn.org is trying to make the supporters of Governor Palin believe that her article was “a marvel of misinformation and outright lies.” Her supporters, of course, will not believe this effort to smear Governor Palin’s wealth of knowledge in this area, but rest assured this is nothing more than another George Soros attack.

George Soros is the “pocket” the money is coming from to fund the Democratic Party attacks on Governor Palin, and he has plenty of it to dole out. MoveOn.org is just one of the many front organizations allowing him to more securely implant Socialism into America. His OSI (Open Society Institute) is the manner he uses to fund all of his puppet organizations, only one of which is the Democratic Party.

He and his “institutes” and “organizations” provided the money that has been used in every effort to belittle Governor Palin. ACORN, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, is also behind the voter fraud that occurred during the presidential election of 2008 in various states, and he had the money to dissuade the states involved from pursuing the illegalities in a court of law where they should have been taken for criminal prosecution.

There have been times when it is painfully obvious that George Soros is behind all of these efforts. Such was the case in the CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) attempt to dissuade the positive public opinion of Governor Palin as they sought an FOIA in the Troopergate matter as well as the formal complaint they filed with the Federal Elections Commission in regards to the clothing purchased for her and her family by the Republican National Committee.

Please note I too Have written about Barack Obama’s direct involvement in the troopergate smear, in which Governor Palin was ultimately found innocent of any wrong doing. Of course, the damage was done, as her exoneration didn’t come until after the Presidential election. Obama managed to payoff Alaska Senator Kim Elton with a make work job at the Dept of Interior for his services in trying to hurt Governor Palin. Chicago politics at it’s finest!

The Diva continues:

The previously mentioned ACORN involvement in the Democratic Party, LaRaza and Supreme Court appointee Sotomayer, and this newest MoveOn.org effort are also obvious attempts by George Soros to bring this coup against our Democracy and convert it to Socialism.

The fact that he “owns” the Democratic Party by the very donations that he makes both personally and through his front groups directly involves him in the attempts to ruin, both politically and personally, Governor Sarah Palin. His goal of a Socialist America is directly threatened by her and her supporters from grass-roots America. He knows that as long as she is speaking out, people will listen. He recognizes that the best way to halt her progress is to provide reasons to doubt her veracity.

What he hasn’t counted on is that the American people are not excited about having strings attached to our arms and legs and manipulated to do his bidding. Many of the American people are not, that is, because it does appear that the Democrats in America are willing. So far, they’ve been doing his bidding with what must be considered, by Soros, as disastrous results.

This latest attempt will end the same way.

Part of the methodology George Soros uses behind the scenes is known as the “Cloward – Piven” strategy. Cloward-Piven is a strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis.

First proposed in 1966 by Columbia University political scientists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the initial plan was to bankrupt the welfare system in America and introduce what could be considered as a radical change in replacing it. The main idea is to use a strategy of introducing crises.

The Cloward-Piven approach in this instance called for the welfare rolls to be swamped with new applications which would result in economic collapse leading to political turmoil and ultimately to Socialism.

The welfare crisis that bankrupted New York City in 1975 was the result of the use of this strategy by The National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO), founded by African-American militant George Alvin Wiley.

From the NWRO grew new movements such as the Living Wage Movement and the Voting Rights Movement, both of which are reliant upon ACORN, a George Soros front-group, depending heavily upon the financial support from another George Soros front-group, Open Society Institute.

The Cloward-Piven plan uses “aggressive community organizers” to create a crisis of militancy. Intimidated by violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for assistance in handling the “crisis” through carefully orchestrated media campaigns by leftwing journalists to introduce a federal program of income redistribution much like Mr. Obama’s “share the wealth” plan during his presidential campaign.

Although the goal of the Cloward-Piven strategy itself was a Marxist society, George Soros has adopted it to his ideas of Socialism, put it to work in the Democratic Party, and with his careful honing of some of the “rough spots” made it into a much more efficient weapon against the American people than the original developers could have hoped.

This is the strategy George Soros is using against Governor Sarah Palin. It can be seen in the fact that as this article is written, twenty ethics complaints have been filed in Alaska by Alaskans who have been “bought and paid for” by the George Soros-funded and Cloward-Pivens Strategy-driven Alaska Democratic Party. It is the same strategy Soros has used and is using to force Socialism on the American people using one of his puppets, Barack Obama

Sarah Palin Declares War, The Media Declares Itself Irrelevant, And The Crazies Prove Sarah’s Point!

I am continually amazed by the media. And not just the state run media, you know, all of those who have the slobbering love affair with Obama. I mean you kinda expect that. They worked so darned hard to get him elected and want to keep him there. Fend off any challenger, especially one who stands an incredible good chance of beating him.

But the ones that get me are the so-called conservatives. I know much of it has to do with the beltway mentality. The old Washington/New York elite. The ones that don’t get out of the big city and mix with the great unwashed, ever.

Frankly, to me, it’s like an episode of the Twilight Zone!

The normal Americans who have taken time to hear Sarah’s Independence Weekend Speech understood every single word she said. (and yes, to her, the timing so close to Independence Day was symbolic)

It was a call to action.

But…but…but…she QUIT!

Did she?

That’s the meme that seems to be universal among these geniuses.

This is where I start to realize that higher learning is a total waste of time if you have the comprehension level of much of today’s pundits.

Now in the most technical of terms, yeah, Sarah quit. But that says nothing.

Let’s look at where Sarah’s thinking seems to have been.

As I wrote earlier, the clues have been there that something was up, but not knowing what was going on inside her mind, we missed them. It’s obvious that once she toured the nation and spoke to so many people that she was inspired by Americans just as much as they were inspired by her.

Something else that has been very plain from all of Sarah’s speeches to major groups, especially those that get national coverage, is that she is very troubled by what is going on in our nation. Sarah has always been an advocate for energy independence, she’s really the go to guy on that sort of thing. But she is also a big advocate for small government and fiscal responsibility.

With the democrat party trying to ram the most disastrous energy policy one could ever dream up, one that amounts to the largest tax increase ever imposed on mankind, and doesn’t create a drop of energy, there are issues, to say the least.

And of course, Obama and his comrades in Congress are big government hacks on steroids. Obama and the rest of his crew think that government is the end all, be all, to life. That government should control every facet of one’s life. (But not theirs, they’re special) Obama couldn’t care less about our Constitution. From the banks to auto companies (and voiding investor contracts) to regulating people’s pay, to even passing a “special tax” for a handful of people to punish them for excepting pay they legally earned, Obama has our founders spinning in their graves.

Even Hugo Chavez stated that Obama was more left wing than either he, or Fidel Castro!

The really best part? Thanks to Comrade Obama, we actually have more czars than Russia ever did! Well over 30. I won’t list them all, but as a lifelong car guy, as in worked in the business, it is beyond scary that the car czar, the cat who will run General Motors, and maybe Chrysler, has absolutely zero experience in the automotive trade. None, zip, nada! And he’s still just a kid!

Of course, where we have serious constitutional issues here is the fact that by appointing all of these czars, Obama has completely and totally usurped the Senate’s constitutional responsibility of advise and consent. In other words, these czars are elected by no one, and approved by no one, except for Obama himself. Lenin and Stalin would be so proud!

Foreign policy and national security? This guy is Neville Chamberlain wrapped up in Jimmy Carter with a strong dose of naivete thrown in for good measure.

North Korea and Iran are running amuck. Obama has basically resigned himself to the fact that Iran will have nukes, and at time when North Korea is launching missiles everywhere, basically doing R&D that will help them perfect a long range delivery platform, Obama wants to gut the military budget, as all democrats always do, especially missile defense.

Even worse, after the Iranian elections, evidently overseen by ACORN, while young Iranians were being beaten and killed, it took Obama two weeks to come up with anything that even resembled condemnation of the illegitimate regime.

On the other hand, when Honduras has a mad man who was usurping their constitution, trying to set himself up as dictator for life, and the people’s representatives took action, removing him from office, Obama couldn’t get out a statement fast enough in support of the Castro wannabe! Never mind that the next guy the in line of succession had taken power and announced elections as soon as possible to choose a new leader. Obama was in the company of Chavez, the Castro brothers, and the United Nations in their support of lifetime dictators!

So what does this all have to do with Sarah “quitting?”

Well, to anyone who is paying attention to her, they know that she is of the opinion that someone needs to put Obama in check and fast!

And who else is gonna do it?

Let’s face it, save for a few principled conservatives, the Republican party is full of milquetoast moderates who have no idea how to fight. Or worse yet, actually agree with a lot of Obama’s agenda.

The democrats have a majority in the House, and the way Nancy Pelosi threatens her members, she can get anything passed, especially the bills no one reads, you know, the ones that cost tax payers multiples of trillions of dollars!

And with, I can’t believe I’m saying this, Senator Al Franken, the democrats have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate.

In other words, nothing or no one can stop them from trying to implement their visions of a socialist Utopia.

At least no one in DC.

You hear it in her speeches and see it in her eyes. Sarah is ready to go and take on these issues with gusto. She will be a strong advocate for small government, strong national security, and real energy independence.

It’s also very clear to anyone who even remotely follows the ins and outs of politics in Alaska, that couldn’t happen as long as she remained Governor.

Forget the physical logistics of it all, that’s the least of the problem.

Nope, Alaska is a very strange place right now, politically. Before Sarah became a national figure after being picked by Senator McCain as his running mate, things were relatively tame as politics go. Sarah was hailed for her ability to work with both sides of the aisle. In fact, knowing that she helped take down a bunch of corrupt Republicans, the democrats were very happy to work with her.

Let’s face it, with energy making up most of Alaska’s economy, it made sense for everyone to get together on important legislation. In fact, Sarah’s signature accomplishment, the natural gas pipeline, was passed just one vote shy of unanimous!

Then came McCain and more ominously Obama and his Chicago/Saul Alinsky brand of politics.

The word came down from Washington for the democrats to make Sarah’s life difficult. I’ve already written about Obama’s direct connection to the failed “troopergate” smear. As well as his payoff to Alaska Senator Kim Elton ad nauseum.

On Tuesday, appearing on Greta Van Susteren’s On The Record, Sarah’s attorney Thomas V Van Flein, while speaking about all of the phoney ethics complaints, mentioned that at least one had originated from the lower 48. And he also mentioned the DNC’s official blogger for Alaska, Linda Kellen Biegel, though not by name. Biegel being one of the loons who has devoted their life to attacking Sarah. Biegel is even raising money to supplement her disability payments off of this venture!

In other words, the Saul Alinsky “Rules For Radicals” plan was followed to a tee!

But, the media seems clueless.

If anything, some of the better ones mention the fact that Sarah has personally racked up a legal bill of over $500,000, so far. They portray Palin as a victim, or worse yet, say she’s trying to play the victim. Not that anyone could blame her, but really, does that sound like the Sarahcuda we’ve all watched for years?

What the media totally leaves out, even the “good ones” is the fact that not only does this nonsense cost her personally, it has cost the taxpayers in the state of Alaska 4 times the amount it has cost her!

So far these democrat operatives, and assorted loons have cost the taxpayers $2 million with their nonsense. And believe me, they have dozens of more complaints on deck ready to file!

All of these complaints have come in the last 8 months. It’s pretty easy to figure at that rate, with Sarah having 18 months left to serve, just her being in office would cost the Alaskan people between $6 to $8 million, total!

And that doesn’t factor in the man hours wasted on this mess. Sarah has said that almost 80% of her staff’s time is being taken up dealing with these loons. John Fund, writing in the Wall Street Journal, states that since the election, there have been 150 FOIA requests filed. Those take time and time is money.

Alaska has some very strict ethics laws, ironically championed by Sarah herself. Before Sarah became Governor, there was a lot of corruption in Alaska government. Some had called it the most corrupt ever. Taking a lot of it down is what got her elected in the first place.

But the problem is, for the complainant, there is no cost to file. And just about anything can be complained about. Even better, if you file frivolous or fraudulent claims, there is no punishment.

Now I have heard people say that they should just change the law. Good luck with that. Can you imagine the pushback from the democrats on that? Or the phony headlines? It would never happen as long as Sarah was in office, and might not happen after that.

Now again, for people that have studied Palin, they get why she is upset. This is a woman who has slashed budgets. She put the Governor’s jet on eBay! She reassigned the executive chef because she didn’t think she needed a cook and staff at the Governor’s Mansion. Show me another Governor who doesn’t have a cook!

She even turned down a substantial raise this year to save the state money!

Even better, when she’s working out of the Anchorage office, Sarah actually drives herself to work, in her personal car! And Wasilla to Anchorage is a pretty good tow in the summer, never mind the winter! Most Governors have limos, or beefed up SUV’s and are driven by someone.

So the fact that these loons will cost the taxpayers of Alaska millions upon millions with their personal vendetta is really a bridge to far for Sarah to cross. They have effectively shut down her government with these tactics. At this point, she truly hurts more than she helps, and she knows it.

And is if to put a punctuation mark on the whole thing, Monday one of the crazies actually filed a new “ethics” complaint, totally proving her point!

Even better, this is one that has been filed before and thrown out!

Zane Henning bills himself as a “conservative watchdog”, but he is a DNC plant. And this isn’t Henning’s first at bat against Sarah either. He is also the loon who filed a couple of “ethics complaints” because of the media coverage of Sarah.

As you all know, after the election, Sarah was the hottest interview in town. When she went back to work, the first morning there was a mob of reporters, cameras, and so on waiting for her at her office door. It goes with the territory. Ethics violation filed.

Then horror of horrors, Greta shows up to do an extended interview with Sarah and her family. I mean come on. This was and still is the most popular Republican in the country. An exciting woman who came pretty close to being Vice President.

Add in the exotic state she comes from, and interest was at a fever pitch. Of course people were going to interview her! But Greta sinned because she filmed a segment in Sarah’s office! She also did a spot in the kitchen eating moose chili and took a ride with Todd on the snow machine. If only she would have worn an Arctic Cat jacket, Henning could have filed for that too!

By the way, it is illegal to publicize ethics complaints before they are heard by the personnel board, but these democrat operatives who are worried about the Governor’s ethics, seem to have no issue with violating the ethics rules themselves!

Henning had a statement out immediately announcing his triumph for democracy!

In fact, merely publicizing the complaint is their win. They know this nonsense is going to be thrown out, but thanks to Huffington Post writers Shannyn Moore, Jeanne Devon, and Amanda Coyne, and others there are plenty of headlines! And the state run media picks up on all of them.

To sum it up Sarah was in a no win situation.

Even the great warrior Sun Tzu tells us it isn’t wise to fight battles we can’t win!

Now sure, Sarah could have stuck it out, let the democrat operatives and loons steal tax payer money and state time, millions of dollars that could better be spent on roads, or education, or well, anything but this.

But that ain’t Sarah. In fact it would have been selfish for her to keep the job for her personal or political gain, and she knows it.

By the way, THAT is what baffles the beltway bunch to no end! They are used to politicians who have to be dragged from office!

And as far as Sarah speaking out against Obama from Alaska, are you kidding? These crazies are inventive. They’d find something wrong. Ethics complaints would have been flying!

And come to the lower 48 and help other Republicans?

You must be joking.

She gets hammered every time she even thinks about leaving Alaska. In fact, noted constitutional scholar, and certified whack job, Linda Kellen Biegel (official DNC blogger for Alaska) actually wrote on her blog that she” had Sarah now”, after Sarah’s trip to visit the troops in Kosovo. Her National Guard troops!

Sarah’s crime?

She talked about how great America was and how great her Guard was. To the crazies, that is unconstitutional. Forget that Palin is their Commander-In Chief!

Biegle is still looking to file that one!

And let’s not forget the personal here.

Let’s not forget the unreal attacks on her children. You had Letterman and his disgusting “jokes” but the real sick stuff has come from loons like Andrew Sullivan, Linda Kellen Biegel (official DNC blogger for Alaska) and the various hate bloggers at the Huffington Post. All of them have attacked Sarah’s youngest child, Trig, a special needs child, proving once and for all the depths of depravity liberals will sink to are really bottomless.

Now if Sarah was just going home, that “quitter” label might have some validity.

But again, anyone who watched her Independence Speech, or read the transcript, knows that isn’t in her plans.

The naysayers say she can’t stand the heat, and yet, she’s preparing to come down to the lower 48 and set up shop to take on the issues she cares about. If she’s a lightning rod all of the way up in Alaska, what do you think she will be like down here?

And I can’t stop laughing at all of the pundits who are still clueless about her July 3^rd timing. To these people this was nothing more than a “dead day”, something used to hide bad news. Typical beltway Washington/New York City group think. The also poo-poo’ed her because they weren’t invited to the party, just local press.

Funny thing, Sarah actually knocked Michael Jackson coverage off the TV for a while, and the networks as well as the cable newsers couldn’t get to Alaska fast enough to try and score interviews!

Pretty much anything Sarah does publically, and sometimes even privately, is a media event. And she has an uncanny ability to turn negativity into positive. Remember all of the dust up over Letterman? Most of it wasn’t even stirred up by her! It was supporters who took on Dave and his advertisers.

And yet, Sarah was able to use that interest to talk about real issues. She scored interviews with Matt Lauer on NBC and Wolf Blitzer on CNN. They wanted to talk Letterman, but she wanted to talk natural gas pipeline, her signature achievement. And that’s what she did. And she did, at length. She had just signed a deal with Exxon-Mobil and Trans-Canada that would see the largest infrastructure project in history get done, and paid for mostly with private money. You think the TV guys would have been excited to give her time to just talk about energy?

In other words, Sarah will have no problem getting media coverage to talk about whatever she wants to. Even the ones who absolutely hate her will have to cover her.

It still boggles my mind that the media elite don’t get the July 3^rd timing though. Those cats need to get out of their world and mingle!

And for those that think all of this is poor strategy, remember, this has already worked for her very well in the past!. Just a little over a year into her job as chair of the AOGCC, Sarah “quit” because she couldn’t get past the protection Governor Murkowski was giving the good old boys in the agency.

So, from OUTSIDE government, she effected huge change! She got a bunch of people fired, fined, indicted, and so on. Mostly Republicans. Then took the Governor’s job!

You really think this gal needs some title or position to get things done?

Really?

Look, Sarah has now given interviews, Meg Stapleton, her spokesperson has given interviews, Sarah’s close friend has weighed in, and so on. The intentions are pretty clear. While Sarah is falling on her sword to save Alaskans further theft by the democrats and loons, and all of the headaches, so her agenda can be forwarded by Sean Parnell, she is also going to go at the democrats and RINOs nationally with full force. Starting with a speech at the Reagan Library on the 8^th of August.

In other words, she is taking the fight to them!

This is an upward move, for sure.

And for those that think her political career is over, a USA Today/Gallup poll shows she is fine.

While overall, the numbers may look tough, mainly because 70% of the democrats polled say they wouldn’t vote for her, 17 percent are likely or somewhat likely to vote for her, should she run.. 44% of the independents say the same, while 72 percent of the GOP would vote for her. And 2012 is a long way away. She has plenty of time to win over more supporters.

And Sarah still remains highly popular in the Republican party, some 76 percent approve of her!

And we aren’t factoring in the horrible shape the economy will be in by 2012 if something doesn’t give. Remember all of those “Reagan democrats” that gave Ronnie two landslide elections? We may see a whole lot of “Palin democrats” do the same for her.

By the way, for what it’s worth, 70% of all polled said Sarah’s decision had absolutely no effect on their feelings for her one way or the other.

Now as a conservative who has followed Sarah since she became Governor, and as someone who also pays attention to what regular old conservatives are saying around the country, I can tell you the support for her among them is even more intense, if that is possible!

Money has been pouring in at an unbelievable rate to SarahPAC, according to Stapleton.

For those that follow her on twitter, she has seen those folks more than double in number since Saturday afternoon! At one point as many as 10,000 an hour were joining in. And she was fishin’, not tweeting!

I honestly don’t know what this means, but she has 9000 more people following her, as of this writing, than Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal , and Tim Pawlenty combined!

And her tweets are generally about the work she is doing, not what is on the menu at the local eatery!

Here’s the bottom line, as I see it.

Sarah Palin is a national figure now, and has been since she came home from the trail. As Ann Coulter put it, she is just too large of a figure for Alaska. When John Kerry or John McCain lost their bids for President, they went back to the Senate. If anything, their runs made them smaller. For Sarah, the opposite has happened. She went from being a little known Governor from a far away place, to the absolute star of the Republican party.

Sarah is at a unique point in history, and knows it.

She is at the cusp of a real movement in America.

Let’s face it, the democrat party is destroying any chances of staying in power with their insanity. And frankly, even lifelong Republicans are not impressed with the GOP’s “hey if we were more like the democrats we could win” strategy.

The movement from party identity to independent has never been higher. The state run media loves to say that the number of those calling themselves Republicans is at a all time low, but they leave out the fact that the democrats are in the same boat!

Sarah has said flat out, during her Independence Speech, and in interviews afterward, that she isn’t beholden to party. And that’s true, because she never has been. In fact, the party establishment has never been all that happy, because she doesn’t play the partisan to get things done. And will go after bad Republicans with the same vigor as bad democrats.

Sarah has said she wants to work with others who share her love for America, and her vision, both in and out of government. She has further said that she will work with Republicans, democrats, and people with no party at all.

Right now a lot of folks are still trying to figure her out. But you tell me that her message won’t be music to normal people’s ears?

Most of us that are really into politics tend to see things from a party perspective. Most Americans don’t. Furthermore, most Americans think both parties are worthless, and that most of our problems come from partisan politics. And they have a point!

Honestly, I don’t know if Sarah wants to be President. I’m sure she would love it, but I am not sure if she has that all consuming lust for it. That “I’d sell my soul” kinda deal.

I think for her there is more to life, and anyone who saw her interviews with her hip waders, windblown hair, and no make-up knows that! One of the state run media talking heads commented that Sarah “quit, then went fishing”. Of course for Sarah, fishing means commercial, something she has done for 20 years plus, and fishing means big nets full of salmon, with her doing the same work as the men!

True story, she’s had an ethics complaint because a photo of her holding one of these big fish was used by the state fishing agency in advertisements! (You really think YOU could put up with that sort of stupidity on a daily basis?)

No, I think if Sarah Palin is to ever become President, it will be by popular demand. It will be because like it already is, everywhere she goes people scream at her to run. When she shakes hands and signs autographs people ask her to run. And there are already dozens of Draft Sarah websites, just like there were the draft sites for her to be the VP pick.

Sarah can draw a huge crowd any time anywhere. More than anyone else in politics, save Obama. And as time marches forward I imagine if Obama draws a crowd, it might not be as friendly as he’s used to!

Sarah has 3 ½ years to go across the country giving speeches, promoting her book, talking policy. Helping conservative candidates. And frankly collecting IOUs.

I always compare Sarah to Ronald Reagan, who is one of her heros, and mine as well.. Yes, they are different, but they are also alike. Especially when it comes to core principals. And for those of us that remember Reagan’s loss in 1976, he too was written off by the Rockefeller wing (RINO) of the party, and the media. In fact, if you take out the misogyny, and the over the top attacks on her kids, pretty much everything that is being said about her, was said about Reagan. Almost verbatim, which shows you the left wing and the RINOs aren’t very creative!

Reagan spent from 1976 to 1980 traveling the country, giving speeches and preparing. Sarah has been described by anyone who has worked with her, including well respected DC policy wonks as a disciplined, quick learner. Someone who is intellectually curious, and highly motivated.

Again, I have no idea where we’ll be come 2012. But anyone that thinks Sarah Palin is down and out or “finished” just hasn’t been paying attention! I suspect that whatever she wants to do, she will do and do well.

I know I’d hate to be the one trying to stop the ‘Cuda!

She has only begun to fight!

Sarah Palin Declares Her Independence

Once the hunted, Sarah Palin becomes the hunter.

Sarah stunned the world Friday by doing something that isn’t done. She is willfully giving up one of the most powerful positions a politician can aspire to. She is stepping down as Governor of one of the most important states in America.

The media elites were stunned. It was almost hilarious watching their reactions of disbelief. Their commentary was downright entertaining, and further proof that they don’t have a clue. Even those on Fox!

And the symbolism of doing this on the 4^th of July holiday, the time we celebrate our nation’s birth, and our independence, was completely lost on the whole lot!

Almost universally, no one in the elite media got it. This is a huge comment on why our nation is in deep, deep trouble. One reporter on Fox, who has covered Sarah since she became Governor, went so far to say that her speech was “rambling”, and “incoherent.” Again, this just proves that even the media we most trust for news doesn’t a clue about real Americans.

Sarah Palin sounded just like us! We, the people, understood every single word she said. This is the reason she is wildly popular in the first place. She IS one of us!

Of course, just as universally silly as the commenters are, the pundits are even more clueless. And, evidently, devoid of any and all abilities of comprehension, be it for the written word, or spoken. We’ll get to the speech itself in due time, but suffice it to say, that for normal Americans, those who this speech was aimed at, this was a call to action.

Now the talking heads all agree that Sarah is done.

No chance of ever being anything again.

Certainly no chance of ever being President. Some say this was political suicide. Well, it won’t be the first time Sarah has committed “political suicide.”

After Mayor Sarah Palin was term limited out (why don’t we have term limits for ALL elected officials?) she decided her next move would be Lt Governor. She lost. But Governor Frank Murkowski saw a talented woman with a lot of grit. He appointed her as Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. An important job. One that regulates Alaska’s most important activities, oil and natural gas production.

Chairman Palin was charged with maintaining ethics as part of her job. Something that her history has shown she takes very seriously. And her talent in this area was soon to be put to good use. There were a lot of less than ethical things going on, some big, some really big.

Now one thing, Alaska is a “good old boy network” kinda state. And her agency was filled with a lot of movers and shakers in the Republican party. Including the party chair, and even a former attorney general. So as one would imagine, there was some push back when Chairman Palin sought to end some of their practices.

Now mind you, this is a high paying gig. Six figures. Something a mother of four had to be thinking about.

So, what did Sarah do? Well, she committed “political suicide” and resigned from the post. She then took her fight to the people. She also filed formal complaints.

We all know the result of this effort. Commissioner Randy Ruedrich who is also the chair of the Republican party, was forced to resign, and paid the largest fine in state history for this sort of thing, $12,000. Gregg Renkes the former attorney general was also forced to resign.

Both of these men had conflicts of interest in dealing with companies they were supposed to be regulating. And Ruedrich was also guilty of doing party business on state time. The effort to go after Renkes was bi-partisan, as Sarah joined in with democrat Eric Croft.

Oh, and one more thing, Sarah took on her former boss, Governor Frank Murkowski, and defeated him in a landslide primary election, and defeated popular former democrat Governor Tony Knowels in the general election.

So much for “political suicide.”

People who have followed Sarah Palin for a long time absolutely get what she is doing.

One of the big things behind this move is to change the rules. When Sarah became Governor, she and her administration passed sweeping ethics reform. That’s a good thing. But since she returned to Alaska after the presidential election, the democrat party has turned around and used these very laws she championed against her and the state of Alaska. Chicago politics at it’s “finest.”

I have written about Barack Obama’s direct involvement in the failed “troopergate” smear, and even his payoff to former Alaska Senator Kim Elton for his efforts. I have also written extensively about Linda Kellen Biegel, the Democrat National Committee’s “official blogger for Alaska.”

This Biegel woman has turned her insane hate into a cottage industry, openly raising money online to fund her efforts, the legality of which is in question.

She’s not alone in this, as other paid operatives, as well as screw loose crazies, have filed 15 so-called “ethics complaints” since Sarah has come home from the presidential trail!

These deals range from the silly, to the down right idiotic!

One complaint had to do with the fact Sarah was photographed holding a fish!

Some background. Sarah has worked as a commercial fisherman. She and her husband still own a commercial fishing business, and yes, when time permits, she has been known to go out and work the nets!

One complaint had to do with the fact she did an interview in her office!

She got tagged because, as Governor, she was at this year’s Iron Dog race, at nearly 2000 miles, the longest most difficult snow machine race in the world.

She showed up in sub-zero weather wearing a jacket.

Oh, the humanity!

Yes, the jacket had the logo of the company that sponsors her husband, Todd, who is a multi-championship winning racer. And?

The bottom line, is these loons, and democrat operatives have managed to cripple the Governor, her staff, and grind governing to a halt. This nonsense has cost Governor Palin and her family $500,000 personally, but more importantly, to her, the state of Alaska has spent $2 million dollars, and 1000’s of hours in time messing around with these complaints.

Needless to say, ALL of these complaints have been thrown out. But as I reported earlier, that means nothing to these bloggers. There were many more bogus ethics complaints planned.

This is Saul Alinsky’s Rules being used relentlessly, and being sanctioned by Chicago’s most famous citizen.

And with a group of dishonest democrats who will just keep filing these bogus ethics complaints, with absolutely no repercussions, she just saved the citizens of Alaska at minimum a couple of million dollars the state would have had to shell out had she completed her term.

This is pretty typical Sarah Palin. When she took office she went on a cost cutting spree. She famously put the executive jet for sale on eBay. And while it was not sold there, it was sold. It was a jet the previous Governor had purchased to travel the state. On the surface, not a bad idea. Alaska is roughly the size of the entire western United States, and many cities are only easily accessible by either air or water.

The only problem, is that jet was unable to land on most of the unimproved airfields in Alaska, and kind of useless.

Palin reassigned the “executive chef” at the Governor’s mansion saying she didn’t want her kids to get used to being waited on by staff. That saved the state money. She also, along with Lt Governor Sean Parnell, turned down a substantial pay increase this year. Something that just isn’t done.

So by stepping down, Sarah Palin just changed the rules on these people. As a private citizen, she is not subject to the constraints of office. She doesn’t have to maintain a certain decorum.

Make no mistake about it, Sarah Palin is a street fighter. What she has done is declare herself the left’s worst nightmare! The paid DNC operatives, and loons, are going to look back and wish they had let sleeping dogs lie.

Case in point, one of the DNC operatives, Huffington Post blogger Shannyn Moore has already been out there spreading lies about Sarah. Moore, who earlier in the year was obsessed with what was under Sarah’s skirt, is peddling a story that Palin is about to be indicted on some sort of federal charges.

Palin’s attorney Thomas V Van Flein has already put Shannyn Moore, the Huffington Post, MSNBC, The New York Times, as well as the Washington Post on notice that they will be seeking actions against them for printing such lies.

Van Flein’s open letter to the parties explains the facts of the story in question, which involves the Wasilla Sports Complex that came to be during Sarah’s tenure as Mayor of Wasilla. Needless to say, another attempt to smear Sarah Palin knocked to the ground.

“Politically Speaking, I don’t care if I live or die, I’m not going to sit down, I’m not going to shut up!” ___Sarah Palin in a June speech introducing Michael Reagan.

It seems we saw signs of Sarah’s big move a while back. We just didn’t know what we were looking at. Sarah made the above remarks during a speech where she introduced Michael Reagan to a crowd in Anchorage.

In her speech she also took Obama and his economic policies head on, as well as his foreign policy. She spoke at length about states rights, and how the federal government had become too big, and too controlling.

It seems that the trip to Kosovo and Germany to visit the troops may have also held clues to what was about to happen. While there, and in Sarah’s tweets, she continually talked about the sacrifices of our brave soldiers, and about the greatness of America. It’s obvious that while her move to change directions has been in the works for some time, her second trip to visit troops in the past two years really had a profound effect on Palin.

Of course, there are all of her detractors who are now saying she is “abandoning her job.” Funny thing, she is transferring power to Lt Governor Sean Parnell. This is the same Sean Parnell who she would have transferred power to had she become Vice President.

Some say they don’t buy the “lame duck” excuse. But having followed Sarah since she became Governor, having read her writings, watched her speeches, and read other’s thoughts about her, people who know her, I think I understand, at least in a tiny way, how she thinks about her duty to the folks who put her in office.

Again, it’s a given, the loons and DNC operatives were never ever going to stop costing the state of Alaska millions of dollars in their perverted attacks on Sarah Palin. So that obviously weighed very heavily on her mind. As soon as Sarah started speaking out. As soon as Sarah started really challenging those who would destroy America from within, the attacks would come.

Sarah recognizes what most of America now does. We are in real trouble. We have incredibly incompetent leadership in Washington. Both parties are filled with people who are more interested in power than doing their jobs. We have a Congress that spends trillions of dollars and passes insane legislation that will destroy our personal liberty, without reading a single word in these bills!

Congress passed the trillion dollar stimulus package and absolutely no one read this bill. It was rushed through by Barack Obama and his crew. Obama shouting that if the bill wasn’t passed immediately the sky would fall! Then, once passed, Obama took a long weekend, while staff set up the photo op!

The stimulus package has been a disaster, so far.

The House of Representatives just passed the largest tax increase in human history, the cap and tax bill on “climate change.” Here’s a bill that will double or triple the cost of energy, and by default, effect the cost of every single product consumers purchase. And this bill will actually do nothing to help the climate! It would also cost millions of jobs, and send most manufacturing overseas to nations that haven’t bought into the “climate change” nonsense.

Even better, most Americans understand that “global warming” is a hoax. That the planet is actually cooling. More and more scientists have come out and disputed the whole scheme.

In fact, the latest scandal surrounding this involves an internal EPA memo that disproves “global warming”, that was suppressed ahead of the House vote.

Not only had no one read this incredibly huge tax bill, an additional 300 pages were slipped into the bill in the dead of night just before the vote!

This isn’t just insanity, this is criminal!

This sort of thing is why Sarah felt she could no longer sit still and keep her mouth shut. This is why she has decided to travel and speak out.

Of course, as Governor, she does have the bully pulpit, but since the DNC has their operatives filing bogus ethics complaints at the drop of the hat, it would be very detrimental to Alaskans for Sarah to use her power as Governor to challenge these crooks in DC.

Better to take them on as Sarah Palin, America, than as Governor Sarah Palin.

And she did have a point about lame ducks spending the people’s money while doing little of their work.

Now with the dishonest press, and the talking heads, there is a huge double standard. They think its just horrible that Sarah is “abandoning” Alaska.

On the other hand, no one in America seemed to have a problem when Barack Obama, the very inexperienced Junior Senator from Illinois, after promising the people of Illinois that he wouldn’t run for President in his first term, worked a mere 143 days out of his six year Senate term, only to abandon his job completely to spend a year and a half running for President!

All the while collecting his paycheck from all of us taxpayers.

Double standard?

You bet’cha!

Now for her speech!

What a red meat patriotic speech it was. This was Sarah Palin speaking out to all of America and letting them know she’s heard the call, and is ready to answer it.

In her speech Sarah talks about the need to end politics as usual. Yeah, I know, all politicians say that. But with Sarah Palin, you instinctively know that she actually means it. And frankly, has put her money where her mouth is by resigning to take those who are harming America straight on!

Sarah talks about how we need to build America up, not tear it down. She called the extreme spending spree being championed by Barack Obama “obscene” and “immoral.”

Sarah, in her speech, repeatedly called on all to get involved and make a difference.

Of course, the elite media who evidently feel it’s their job to tell us what to think (or spread propaganda, I can never decide which) are so sure that Sarah has had enough of all of this and is going home.

So as if to make sure there will be no doubt to her intentions, Sarah put out an Independence Day message.

The end of the message goes as follows:

“I shared with you yesterday my heartfelt and candid reasons for this change; I’ve never thought I needed a title before one’s name to forge progress in America. I am now looking ahead and how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention, greater energy independence, stronger national security, and much-needed fiscal restraint. I hope you will join me. Now is the time to rebuild and help our nation achieve greatness!

God bless you! And I look forward to making a difference – with you!

Now to many, this is Sarah’s way of announcing her intentions to be the next President of the United States, and it may very well be. But I am absolutely under the impression that this doesn’t really matter to her. I firmly believe she is more interesting in changing America for the better. I firmly believe she is more interested in stopping the destruction that Barack Obama and Congress is causing our great nation.

Of course, this is WHY Sarah Palin will be President. Her millions of followers will demand it. Absolutely no one currently in politics has the vision for America that sees us returning to the principles that our founding fathers set forth.

Absolutely no one out there has the ability and desire to take on Barack Obama and Congress with no holds barred. Straight up, no quarter.

Absolutely no other political figure represents the conservative movement as defined by one of our greatest Americans, Ronald Reagan. An America where personal freedom and liberty rein. A strong America. An America that made us the envy of the world.

Both Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin see America as a shining city on a hill. God’s greatest gift to mankind. The world’s best hope.

Our President and Congress are doing their level best to destroy that vision of America. They are spending our grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s future on their socialist schemes. They are ignoring the growing threats around the world, while passing unread legislation that threatens our personal liberties and freedom.

Sarah Palin recognizes this, and has answered the call.

The real question here is for you, the gentle reader.

Will you also answer the call? Or will you continue to just sit and complain, hoping someone else will do the heavy lifting for you?

Sarah Palin looked at her kids and asked: “Want me to make a positive difference and fight for ALL our children’s future from outside the Governor’s office?” She got four “yeahs” and a HELL YEAH” in response!

So again, what will your answer be? Sarah has put her entire career on the line for America.

How Palin Beat Alaska’s Establishment

If you’ve read the press coverage of Sarah Palin, chances are you’ve heard plenty about her religious views and private family matters. If you want to know what drives Gov. Palin’s politics, and has intrigued America, read this.

Every state has its share of crony capitalism, but Big Oil and the GOP political machine have taken that term to new heights in Alaska. The oil industry, which provides 85% of state revenues, has strived to own the government. Alaska’s politicians—in particular ruling Republicans—roll in oil campaign money, lavish oil revenue on pet projects, then retire to lucrative oil jobs where they lobby for sweetheart oil deals. You can love the free market and not love this.

Alaskans have long resented this dysfunction, which has led to embarrassing corruption scandals. It has also led to a uniform belief that the political class, in hock to the oil class, fails to competently oversee Alaska’s vast oil and gas wealth, the majority of which belongs to the state—or rather, Alaskan citizens.

And so it came as no surprise in 2004 when former Republican Gov. Frank Murkowski made clear he’d be working exclusively with three North Slope producers—ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips and BP—to build a $25 billion pipeline to move natural gas to the lower 48. The trio had informed their political vassals that they alone would build this project (they weren’t selling their gas to outsiders) and that they expected the state to reward them. Mr. Murkowski disappeared into smoky backrooms to work out the details. He refused to release information on the negotiations. When Natural Resources Commissioner Tom Irwin suggested terms of the contract were illegal, he was fired.

What Mr. Murkowski did do publicly was instruct his statehouse to change the oil and gas tax structure (taxes being a primary way Alaskans realize their oil revenue). Later, citizens would discover this was groundwork for Mr. Murkowski’s pipeline contract—which would lock in that oil-requested tax package for up to 40 years, provide a $4 billion state investment, and relinquish most oversight.

Enter Mrs. Palin. The former mayor of Wasilla had been appointed by Mr. Murkowski in 2003 to the state oil and gas regulatory agency. She’d had the temerity to blow the whistle on fellow GOP Commissioner Randy Ruedrich for refusing to disclose energy dealings. Mr. Murkowski and GOP Attorney General Gregg Renkes closed ranks around Mr. Ruedrich—who also chaired the state GOP. Mrs. Palin resigned. Having thus offended the entire old boy network, she challenged the governor for his seat.

Mrs. Palin ran against the secret deal, and vowed to put the pipeline back out for competitive, transparent, bidding. She railed against cozy politics. Mr. Murkowski ran on his unpopular pipeline deal. The oil industry warned the state would never get its project without his leadership. Mrs. Palin walloped him in the primary and won office in late 2006. Around this time, news broke of a federal probe that would show oil executives had bribed lawmakers to support the Murkowski tax changes.

Among Mrs. Palin’s first acts was to reinstate Mr. Irwin. By February 2007 she’d released her requirements for pipeline bidding. They were stricter, and included only a $500 million state incentive. By May a cowed state house—reeling from scandal—passed her legislation.

The producers warned they would not bid, nor would anyone else. Five groups submitted proposals. A few months before the legislature awarded its license to TransCanada this July, Conoco and BP suddenly announced they’d be building their own pipeline with no state inducements whatsoever. They’d suddenly found the money.

Mrs. Palin has meanwhile passed an ethics law. She’s tightened up oil oversight. She forced the legislature to rewrite the oil tax law. That new law raised taxes on the industry, for which Mrs. Palin is now taking some knocks, but the political background here is crucial.

The GOP machine has crumbled. Attorney General Renkes resigned. Mr. Ruedrich was fined $12,000. Jim Clark—Mr. Murkowski’s lead pipeline negotiator—pleaded guilty to conspiring with an oil firm. At least three legislators have been convicted. Sen. Ted Stevens is under indictment for oil entanglements, while Rep. Don Young is under investigation.

Throughout it all, Mrs. Palin has stood for reform, though not populism. She thanks oil companies and says executives who “seek maximum revenue” are “simply doing their job.” She says her own job is to be a “savvy” negotiator on behalf of Alaska’s citizens and to provide credible oversight. It is this combination that lets her aggressively promote new energy while retaining public trust.

Today’s congressional Republicans could learn from this. The party has been plagued by earmarks, scandal and corruption. Most members have embraced the machine. That has diminished voters’ trust, and in the process diminished good, conservative ideas. It is no wonder 37 million people tuned in to Mrs. Palin’s convention speech. They are looking for something fresh.
