Second, the country needs a healer – someone who can rise above the mass media’s hate-fueled attacks while working to bring sanity back to government and ideological balance back to both major parties. Sarah Palin can do this: she’s a deeply committed conservative who has consistently shown, and not just as governor and McCain’s running mate, but throughout her personal and political life, both an ability to work with the other side and a willingness to listen to others.
Third, Palin is electable – whether she takes Scott Walker, Michele Bachmann, or Newt Gingrich along doesn’t really matter. With her at the top of the ticket, the media will go berserk, and the same four million Tea Party voters who stayed home in 2012 will put her into the White House with a massive majority.
Palin excites where Democrats organize. It almost doesn’t matter which dino you look at, the differences between a Palin rally and one of theirs are striking. Even Warren (who I think will head up the ticket if for no other reason than the fact that following a faux American with a faux Pocahontas seems natural) can only marshal, not excite, her voters. Look at Palin campaign videos posted on blogs and other non-major media sites, and you’ll see people getting emotionally involved, feeling the energy, talking to strangers, and expressing hope. None of that happens when Clinton, Warren, or Obama speaks. There you see the unmistakable signs of the few manipulating the many: people standing silently or in small groups that came together and will leave together, people throwing garbage on the floors, “spontaneous” demonstrators waving professionally made signs, and carefully cued cheering.
Fourth, she’s right much more often than most. Almost every time she’s said something since 2007, the media have jumped all over how stupid she is, and later remembered only their own vitriol when time proved her right.
Fifth, the woman’s character is unimpeachable. For eight years now she’s been the primary target for every liberal fascist from MSNBC and the New York Times to the Daily Kos – and none of them have found a thing. As Romney discovered, it doesn’t matter whom the GOP puts up; the same campaign machine that can dedicate man-months of FBI time to Bridgegate but is unable to find even a smidgen of corruption at the IRS will go after even the most liberal candidate with all guns blazing.

Hmmm, as people all over the country are reminding each other, this Hillary Scooby-Doo Tour thing sure looks familiar. We’re flattered the liberals think the idea is really keen! Since it’s #ThrowbackThursday, it’s also pretty keen to thank the democrats for taking a page out of our playbook and also to share the picturesque, sincere, no-media “One Nation” RV trek of ours a few years ago. From way up North in the natural resource-rich state of Alaska down to the inspirational, loud and patriotic Rolling Thunder Rally in DC to a calm clambake on a cool New Hampshire night, it was a blast to introduce American people and places to folks who crave the reminders of what makes our nation exceptional and free! Our tour is proof we dare not go backwards and fundamentally transform America; instead we must move ahead to fundamentally restore all that is good and safe and strong in America. And we’re pretty good about doing it without letting the media get in the way. (In fact, it was great to see the media finally have to do what the rest of the middle class does every single day – WORK FOR IT. Though I don’t know why they were frustrated not being able to keep up with us, I mean, I was in our bus wrapped in the Constitution!)

Easter is when Christians celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ after his sacrificial death on the Cross for the sins of the world. His resurrection gave us hope for eternal life through our faith in Him.

While Christians in America and Israel and other free nations are still able to worship freely on Easter, there are many Christians in the Middle East and areas of Africa that live in fear, some of them in captivity or prison because of their faith. Examples are Pastor Saeed Abedini in Iran and Asia Bibi in Pakistan. Let us continue to uphold them in prayer and other efforts as we seek their release.
This year the celebration of Easter and the celebration of Passover have overlapped, and there have been “signs in the heavens” that have caused us to pause and wonder what God is trying to tell us. The first of these was the total eclipse over the North Pole on March 20, which coincided with the Spring Equinox and the first day of Nissan. Since this phenomenon only happens once every 100,000 years, it will be the only time it occurs in human history.
The second event was the total lunar eclipse, or Blood Moon, yesterday during the Passover and Easter weekend. What is special about this Blood Moon is that it is the third of a tetrad of total lunar eclipses that have coincided with the Passover and Sukkot Jewish festivals. Tetrads of Blood Moons that coincide with Jewish holidays have only occurred since the first century, A. D. The first tetrad occurred during the years 32-33, in close proximity to Jesus’ death and crucifixion. We know that Jesus observed Passover with his disciples. in what has become known as The Last Supper. before going to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. There was a Blood Moon that coincided with Passover that year. We also know that there was a total solar eclipse during Jesus’s crucifixion.
This article details the 9 previous occurrences of blood moon tetrads that have coincided with Jewish holidays and the events that have occurred in close proximity to them. Each of these historical events has been of great importance to the Jewish people, and sometimes to Christians as well.

According to NASA, this total blood moon on 28th September 2015 will be at perigee (nearest the earth) meaning it will be a super moon and seen in Jerusalem during the feast of Sukkot while the Jewish people will be dwelling outside in their Sukkahs looking up toward the heavens.

It amazes that there is a beginning and end of four blood moons coinciding with Jewish feasts: Passover and Sukkot.
NB: The 2014-2015 blood moons and solar eclipses occur on the same dates as the 70 AD eclipses and during the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in 32-33 AD. It is a clear sign of seasons and times for Israel, the Jews and Christians.
Some wonder what the significance of the current tetrad of blood moons might be. Pastor John Hagee thinks it will be an event involving Israel that will change world history. Could it be the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39? There are some, including the author cited above, who believe that it is a sign that the Rapture of the Church is about to occur. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
Happy Easter, everyone! Today is a day of expectation for all those who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Messiah.
The Jewish celebration of Passover starts at sunset today (April 3) and continues until nightfall Saturday, April 11, this year. We at SPIB want to wish all of our Jewish friends and readers Chag Sameach during this celebration of God’s deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt.
Passover coincides with the Christian celebration of Easter this year. So this is a holy weekend for both Christians and Jews. Also coinciding with Passover this weekend is the third of a tetrad of total lunar eclipses occurring on Passover and Sukkot of both 2014 and 2015. These are known as “blood moons” because of the scattered rays of red light from the sun that they reflect as they pass through the Earth’s shadow. A video explaining the phenomenon can be found here.
Tetrads of blood moons that coincide with Jewish holidays have only occurred 10 times since the first century, and none occurred during the previous 2000 years. Each of these tetrads has coincided with historical events of great significance for the Jewish people, and in some cases, for Christians as well. This article discusses the historical events that occurred in close proximity to blood moon tetrads. The 2014-2015 tetrad, which coincide with Passover and Sukkot both years, will be the last to coincide with Jewish holidays for the next 568 years.
The last 3 of these historical events are the ones most often mentioned. The tetrad from 1492 to 1493 occurred in the same time frame as the expulsion of Jews from Spain by Queen Isabella and the launch of Christopher Columbus’ expedition that would discover a new land in which Jews would find refuge centuries later. There was a tetrad of blood moons in 1949-1950, during which the Jewish state was established and during which the Arab-Israeli War for Independence occurred. A tetrad of blood moons also coincided with the Six-Day War in 1967, when Jerusalem was liberated and additional Jewish land reclaimed.
Since the occurrence of tetrads of blood moons that coincided with Jewish holidays has historically been primarily in the same time frame as war or persecution for the Jews, the tetrad from 2014 to 2015 has generated a lot of interest and concern. This is especially true considering the pressures that have come to bear against Israel from the Obama administration and others in the international community.
Pastor Mark Biltz, who first popularized the Blood Moon tetrads, and Bob O’Dell of Root Source, who discovered unique insights connecting the recent solar and lunar eclipses with the modern State of Israel, are calling for Christians everywhere to pray for four minutes and forty four seconds during the upcoming Passover Blood Moon.

“Bob and I were influenced by the rarity of this coming Blood Moon – the shortest lunar eclipse ever recorded in human history on the night of Passover, and the fourth shortest of all eclipses in the last 4,000 years,” Biltz told Breaking Israel News.
The imminent total lunar eclipse, known as a Blood Moon, will take place on the fourth day of the fourth month, April 4th, and will last for exactly four minutes and forty four seconds.
“Iran’s impending nuclear threat in the region has Israel very concerned. So we believe it is both important and urgent that Christians everywhere pray for the peace of Jerusalem on 4/4 for just 4 minutes and 44 seconds,” explained Biltz.

Ariel, an Orthodox Jew, called on Jews and Christians to pray together on behalf of the entire world, during the two minute long shadow over the North Pole during the recent solar eclipse on March 20.
According to Biltz, “If a Jew from Israel calls for prayer for the entire world during the solar eclipse, then we Christians should return the favor and call for prayer for Israel, and the reading of Psalm 122, during the lunar eclipse.”
Ariel explained the reason for the two calls to prayer.
“In Jewish tradition, the nations of the world are likened to the sun, and the Jewish people are compared to the moon,” he told Breaking Israel News. “The prayer offered during the North Pole solar eclipse was for the benefit of the entire world. It is especially moving that two Christians are now calling for prayers for the peace of Jerusalem during the lunar eclipse.”
The recent outpouring of interest in the Blood Moons has been covered widely by mainstream media such as Fox News and the Washington Post. Pro-Israel Pastor John Hagee released a documentary last week entitled “Four Blood Moons”, which sparked another round of interest.
“The Blood Moons have erupted a controversy within the Christian community about the nature of eclipses, their meaning, and whether they can signal future events,” O’Dell explained to Breaking Israel News. “For this prayer event, Mark Biltz and I were willing to put our personal views aside and leverage the occasion for a cause we can all agree upon – to communicate our strong desire to be a blessing to the Nation of Israel.”

Two weeks before Passover, on March 20, there was a total eclipse of the sun over the North Pole on the first day of Nissan. This happens every 100,000 years and is therefore the only such occurrence in human history. That prompted the global call to prayer mentioned in the article above.

SAN ANTONIO — The Book of Genesis says God uses the sun, moon, and stars for signs and seasons. Examples can be found throughout the Bible.
Think of how a star led the wise men to Jesus or how the sun stood still as Joshua led Israel to victory over its enemies.
According to Pastor John Hagee, God is getting ready to speak this way once again.
“There’s a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way,” Hagee told CBN News.
“I believe that in these next two years, we’re going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world,” he predicted.

Blood moons are set to appear in April 2014, on Passover, and then again in October 2014 during the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot.
The timing is the same for 2015 — a total of four blood moons, all appearing on Jewish feast days.
“The sun and the moon and the Earth are controlled by God almighty,” Hagee said. “He is the one that is getting them in a direct alignment on a certain day at a certain time — but each time, it’s a Passover or Sukkot.
Historic Significance
In the past, the rare appearance of four blood moons on these feast days has coincided with major events for Israel and the Jewish people.
In 1492, Spain expelled the Jews. Columbus also discovered America, which became a safe haven for the Jewish people.
“In each of these blood moons, you have something that begins in tragedy and ends in triumph,” Hagee explained.
For instance, in 1948, Israel was reborn as a nation.
“After 2,000 years, God supernaturally brought them from 66 nations and a nation was born in a day,” Hagee noted. “That again was a supernatural something that happened following the tragedy of the Holocaust.”
In 1967, Israel won the Six-Day War and recaptured Jerusalem.
“For the first time in 2,000 years, Jerusalem and the State of Israel were together again,” Hagee said.
Nuclear Threat
Two blood moons have already appeared in 2014 and they coincided with major events in the Middle East and the world:
A war between Israel and Hamas in the summer of 2014
The rise of ISIS and the emergence of a new caliphate in Syria and Iraq
Terrorism increasing around the world
And anti-Semitism on the march in Europe
Then, there are continued attempts by the world to strike a deal with Iran, which promise to only increase in 2015.
“The only reason that Iran will not acquire a nuclear bomb will be that Israel chooses a military solution to that crisis,” Hagee told CBN News.
“I believe that if that happens, it will start a series of events that will change the course of world history,” he said. “If Israel does not, then it will still change the course of world history.”
Hagee has been warning of the Iranian nuclear threat through his work with Christians United for Israel, which he founded in 2006. It is now the largest pro-Israel organization in America, with some 1.3 million members.

“If there was ever a time for the Christians of America to stiffen their spine and stand up and speak up, it’s now,” Hagee admonished. “To see evil and not call it evil is evil. Not to speak is to speak. We cannot be silent and receive God’s approval at a time like this.”
He said it’s still unclear what the coming blood moons will bring, but he is certain of one thing.
“When all is said and done, the flag of Israel will be flying over the walls of the city of Jerusalem when Messiah comes, and it’s going to be forever,” he said. “And every nation that rises up in judgment against Israel God will punish and punish severely.”
