The Roderic Deane Show: Time is of the Essence!

Posted by Roderic Deane on November 5, 2012

Following is the monologue from yesterday’s show:

Well, well, well! As of right now, were approximately 58 hours before we start getting election results on the Presidential race. Early voting still drags on in a number of states, but we won’t know anything of any measure until Tuesday’s end, much to the dismay of a lot of East Coast liberals and journalists. Yes, they think voting should be extended due to the consequences of Hurricane Sandy. I think they’d be more worried about all those people who have been dealt a horrible blow by this storm, but then again, maybe that’s just me.

Most of the pollsters have finished their polling, awaiting the Election Day results along with the rest of us. What have they told us? Absolutely nothing! No one can predict what people will do in the voting booth when confronted with their own conscience and judgement. No one! If the pollsters could tell us who our elected officials would be before they’re even elected, why have elections?

This drives the liberal, lamestream media absolutely crazy! They’re rapidly losing their ability to dictate the narrative to the electorate, so they invest millions into bringing you worthless polling data, skewed to make it seem like their preferred results are inevitable. I’m here to tell you, they aren’t! You will decide this election, not some numbskull that landed a sweet contract with MSNBC or CNN to go on the air and report their own opinions as if they were fact.

One of the issues I often hear from people, especially young voters, is that my single vote doesn’t really count for much, so what difference does it make it I vote or not? Remember what Dr. Fay told us in her intro, an estimated 30 million evangelicals sat out the 2008 election. Now, I don’t know 30 million evangelicals, but I know a few. What if those few had taken a different mindset, one that says I MUST vote? What if only half of those evangelicals had taken that same mindset? Would Barack Obama had won the election? Who knows? Maybe they would have split their vote between Obama and McCain back in 2008, but what about now? Would the results be the same?

Every vote matters because it’s the mindset that matters. It is one of the most solemn and important civic duties that you can exercise within our society. I say solemn because of the atmosphere present when you do vote. It’s generally very orderly, but it’s also pretty doggoned quiet. People standing in line will talk, but they do so in hushed tones as they get nearer to the voting booth. Maybe it’s different in places other than where I’ve voted, but I don’t think so.

Don’t ever squander or take lightly your ability to vote. Look at some of the latest videos I’ve posted on my blog. The one thing that comes out loud and clear is the sense of urgency! The Chuck Norris video is there, a great Bill Whittle video was posted a few days ago and there are many others. People that take voting seriously are worried, as am I. We can’t allow this tremendous experiment in liberty that we call the United States of America, fall into darkness…EVER! It truly is the last, best hope of mankind!

Implosion: It’s Time!

Posted by Roderic Deane on October 31, 2012

(This is the first episode of a new series I’m calling “Implosion”. It will evolve over time…)

Never before has this generation been standing on such a precipice. What happens between now and Election Day will define our country’s future. Pick wisely!

From her comments on Benghazi to her unwavering belief in free elections, I think Governor Palin would agree with me.

Replace Akin with Steelman!

Posted by Roderic Deane on August 20, 2012

It’s really the best choice. Sarah Steelman has unquestioned conservative credentials and garnered the endorsement of Governor Sarah Palin, for crying out loud!

That fact has to roil the GOPe in Missouri. All the other candidates that have been floated are moderate at best and not likely to capture the enthusiasm of the Tea Party.

Without a doubt, the GOPe’s preferred candidates will lose in November, and for what? Bragging rights?

No, the best bet for the Missouri GOP is to put Steelman in place of Todd Akin. If she wins, they can puff out their chests and say “We knew what we were doing!”

If she loses, they can claim that they caved under pressure from the Tea Party, knowing that Sarah Steelman would get waxed by her Democratic opponent.

Hey Missouri GOP! You have nothing to lose by replacing Akin with Steelman!

Governor Palin pushes for Ted Cruz

Posted by Roderic Deane on July 24, 2012

In a Facebook post from yesterday, Governor Sarah Palin reiterated her support for Ted Cruz, especially since early voting has begun.

Support Ted Cruz

Early voting began yesterday in the run-off election for U.S. Senate in Texas. [It runs through Friday, July 27th.] Texans have a clear choice in this race, and I encourage them to support Ted Cruz, a strong conservative fighter who will protect and defend our Constitution and not just go along to get along with the reckless spending of the permanent political class in D.C. The high-paid consultants of Ted’s well-funded opponent are in full panic mode and have plunged millions of dollars into false personal attacks against Ted meant to dispirit us and break our conviction. We’ve all seen these tactics before, but together we can make sure they don’t succeed. I encourage Texans to get out and vote for Ted Cruz.

- Sarah Palin

P.S.: For those of you outside of Texas looking to support Ted you can do so by visiting his website here.

The run-off election is Tuesday, July 31st. Governor Palin knows how important this is. Do you? Please support Ted Cruz in whatever way you can!

Hey Mitt! Where’s the Palin invite to the GOP convention?

Posted by Roderic Deane on July 18, 2012

Perhaps it’s too early to worry about this. After all, I don’t think any of the other GOP Presidential contenders have gotten invites to the GOP convention either…but, then again, Governor Palin should be an exception.

She was the GOP’s VP candidate in the last election, for crying out loud! She DESERVES a prime-time spot on the dais. Sure, the mainstream media and GOPe have tried to demonize her over the last 4 years, but she is still quite relevant, despite attempts to suggest otherwise. Her acceptance by the Tea Party is unquestioned and she still has the ability to galvanize the grassroots in ways that Romney can only dream of.

I keep hearing people say that we need to unify around our presumptive candidate. I say BULLSHIT! Romney needs to reach out to Governor Palin, have a face-to-face conversation, and offer her a prime spot during the Convention. In that conversation, Governor Palin needs to be given assurances that the Tea Party’s issues will be front and center in Romney’s campaign and governing agenda. If that doesn’t happen, I know an awful lot of people that are going to invest their time to help Congressional and Senate candidates this fall. Oh sure, they MIGHT hold their nose and vote for Romney, but they sure as heck aren’t going to campaign for him.

I know you agree with me and certain others do too.

Laura Ingraham

Newt Gingrich

John McCain

Jeffrey Lord, The American Spectator

Thankfully, Mitt Romney is starting to show some cajones in a recent speech in Pennsylvania, highlighted by Mark Levin. Me thinks he just might be angling to be put in good graces with us, the grassroots and, by extension, Governor Sarah Palin.

And this is the guy that Obama goes to so much trouble to aggravate. Obama will NEVER have as much class as this man.
