Is Sarah Palin Thinking About Leaving Facebook?

Posted by Dr. Fay on October 8, 2015

Governor Palin posted a link to the amazing video that resulted when Matt Drudge dropped by Info Wars unexpectedly and left Alex Jones “flabbergasted.” The video is a must watch all the way to the end as Drudge shares his views on the upcoming election and on the looming loss of internet freedom. Governor Palin agrees with his assessment of social media and expresses her own frustrations with Facebook.

THE ICONIC DRUDGE – HIS INTERVIEW! AND, DISLIKING FACEBOOK

One of the best interviews I’ve heard in a long time! Please listen; appreciate both gentlemen’s courage, innovation and work ethic; enjoy.

(Along the lines of this interview, I’ve consistently voiced frustration with having to use Facebook to reach the nearly 5 million good people tuned in to my page – it kills me to drive traffic and revenue to Facebook’s out-of-touch founder (Mark Zuckerberg) so he can then turn around and donate to liberal causes and candidates, thus un-doing much of what I try to do here (all pro bono, at great cost in my time and resources). I’m exploring other ways to stay connected with you all – if I had any other choice today to keep you informed and receive your significant input (free from any censorship or what has been called “technical problems” – resulting in some censored posts), believe me, I’d bail from Facebook and, together, we’d be elsewhere, friends! Seven years of research, writing and posting here, knowing we’re ultimately contributing to the problem – i.e. resources landing in liberals’ laps – is killer. And enough’s enough. Drudge expounds on the dangerous Leftist monopolistic situation in his interview I’ve linked to here.)

Btw, Facebook, as I’ve explained numerous times – Sarah Palin is my real name. I’m still prohibited from ever easily logging on to anything Facebook-related as you block my attempts 99% of the time with the rejection response: “Sorry, you must use a real name”; but since your policy disallows me using a fake name accompanied by my legit contact info, it’s a constant time-consuming quandary. Despite seven years of bringing this to your attention, you still don’t believe me, nor through decent customer service want to make this any easier? Thank you to the good folks there who try anyway… thank you for hearing my concerns on this and had honestly pushed for solutions… may this encourage you in your line of work today:

“The world is moved not only by the mighty shoves of the heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.” – Helen Keller

Thank you!

#IAmAChristian: Dr. Ben Carson Lights Up Facebook in Response to Oregon School Shooting

Dr. Ben Carson, a 2016 GOP presidential candidate and world-renowned neurosurgeon, has launched a social media response effort to the Oregon gunman’s reported targeting of Christians in his shooting spree on a community college campus on Thursday.

In one of several consecutive Facebook posts, Carson urges his millions of followers to change their Facebook photograph to an image of a hashtag: #IAmAChristian. The other Facebook photograph shows Carson holding up a piece of paper with the words “I am a Christian” written on it.

“Please consider changing your profile picture to honor the victims and their families,” Carson writes under the one with the hashtag photograph.

“Yes, #IAmAChristian,” Carson writes under the one with the photograph of him.

A third post gives a more detailed message from Dr. Carson explaining his thought process behind the slogan:

Today, many of your questions were in regards to the sorrowful event that took so many precious lives in Oregon yesterday. We don’t have all the details yet, but as time passes more are coming out. Millions of people are posting pictures of themselves declaring they are Christians in support of the victims and their families. I did so on Facebook this afternoon. If you have a moment, please consider doing it as well. Email me your pictures and I will put them on the website. Send them to pics@bencarson.com.

It is times like these when We the People must be United!

As I sit here, I must be honest with you – I was planning to answer more questions, but now it seems inappropriate. I would like to spend this night together remembering how important each life is – please join me in praying for the victims and their families. Please pray for the healing of our Great Nation.

An eyewitness of Thursday’s shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon said that the killer, named by police as Chris Harper-Mercer, asked students about their faith and executed those who professed to be Christians.

“A gunman singled out Christians, telling them they would see God in ‘one second,’ during a rampage at an Oregon college Thursday that left at least nine innocent people dead and several more wounded, survivors and authorities said,” the New York Post reported.

The Post quoted Stacy Boylen, a woman whose daughter was wounded in the shootings, to detail exactly how the gunman targeted Christians: “[He started] asking people one by one what their religion was. ‘Are you a Christian?’ he would ask them, and if you’re a Christian, stand up. And they would stand up and he said, ‘Good, because you’re a Christian, you are going to see God in just about one second.’ And then he shot and killed them.”

Democrats, including President Barack Obama, have seized the shooting as an opportunity to push for more gun control. But Carson has instead put the focus on mental health issues in America–and now on the fact that the shooter reportedly targeted those of Christian faith.

“Well, obviously, there are going to be those who are going to be calling for gun control,” Carson said in an interview with Hugh Hewitt on Thursday. “But you know, that happens every time we have one of these incidents. Obviously, that’s not the issue. The issue is the mentality of these people. And we need to be looking at the mentality of these individuals and seeing if there are any early warning clues that we can gather that will help us as a society to be able to identify these people ahead of time.”

Carson’s Facebook page has more than 4 million followers, and both photographs are already going viral. The candidate’s brilliant use of social media—among many other things—has helped propel him to the top tier of the 2016 GOP pack.

He’s also used social media as a tool to become one of the field’s most prolific fundraisers from grassroots donors, hauling in $20 million last quarter in mostly small dollar donations from all over America.

Gov. Palin: Please watch UN speech of world’s strongest leader!

Posted by Dr. Fay on October 4, 2015

Well, I paraphrased a little, but I share Governor Palin’s admiration for Israel’s strong and gracious leader!  In the opinion of many, Prime Minister Netanyahu is the leader of the free world in the absence of a strong American President.  May the next president of the U. S. A. be a godly man who loves Israel as much as Governor Palin does!

Please watch Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech right now at the UN; proving there’s a good argument that he’s the world’s strongest leader!

Here is a video of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech.  The transcript can be found here.
