Gov. Palin: More music, less blue light

Posted by Dr. Fay on January 4, 2016

Judging by the content of Governor Palin’s Facebook post below and the fact that her house in Arizona is up for sale, my guess is that her immediate plans are to focus on her family there in Alaska.  No one could blame her if she takes a rest from politics – she has given much to this country by being a voice for the grassroots, who often feel powerless when their elected officials’ loyalties seem to be elsewhere.  We will just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, this will be the last post on SPIB, at least for a while.  The blog will remain as an archive of the contributions of our authors that chronicle Governor Palin’s activities from February 2009 onward.  Some of the pages have links to articles about Governor Palin even farther back.

It has been a pleasure following this remarkable woman and covering her activities for our readers.   But it is time now to rest for a while.

Ahhhh. Relief. A new season… this new year. My resolution time includes specific goals I know I’ll meet because I hold on. Like Dierks Bentley sings:

“To the things I believe in – my faith, your love, our freedom… to the things I can count on to keep me going strong, I hold on.”

One thing – I’ll enjoy a lot more music, a lot less plugged-in tech time. Passing on that online time that enables broken people to try to break others is a way to live life vibrantly without inviting their hate to cloud my home. More music, less blue light, less white noise = refreshing!

And no matter what 2016 brings, I’ll teach my children to really grasp Jeremiah 29:11; to know that in all things, if it’s good, it’s God. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Or how Bristol puts it:…/i-look-at-them-and-know-2016-is-e…/

Happy New Year

Dear Ms Palin, for as much as we all love to follow you, read your posts, get a glimpse of your lovely family in pics privacy in life is indeed so valuable. You deserve the right to live and do whatever you desire as well as your family. We will miss you but will keep you in our prayers. As a fellow believer we will be able to meet and get to know one another and fellowship together. That is our Hope because Jesus said so. How fun is that! Take care and God Bless
