By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Reported on CNN.com here, Governor Palin is headed to Haiti:

It turns out that Sarah Palin’s next overseas trip won’t be to England or Israel, as was widely reported Thursday.

CNN has learned that the former Alaska governor will be traveling to Haiti this weekend with Franklin Graham and his relief organization Samaritan’s Purse.

They will be visiting a cholera clinic, among other stops.

Rebecca Mansour, Governor Palin’s aide, confirmed this report via Twitter:

Yes, the CNN story is correct. Gov. Palin is going to Haiti this weekend with Rev. Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse. http://is.gd/isOUW

Palin makes Barbara Walters’ list for third year in a row

Posted by loricalabrese on December 9, 2010

Thursday night, Barbara Walters announces her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2010” and for the third year in a row, Sarah Palin makes the list, something Barbara Walters says has never happened before.

On ABC’s “The View” on Wednesday, Walters introduced a clip of her interview with Palin, sparking a response from longtime Palin critic Joy Behar who quipped, “She is fascinating. I’ll give her that.”

Walters interviewed Palin and her husband, Todd and asked Palin if she will appear on “Dancing with the Stars” if she doesn’t run for president.

Palin replied, “I’m the biggest klutz in the world.” Palin also told Walters that the last time she danced was at her inauguration.

Walters also asked Palin about the conspiracy theory that Tea Partiers were the only reason her daughter Bristol made it to the finals.

“What’d we do, call every tea party in America?” laughs Palin. “Bristol has the greatest work ethic of any young person that I know, and I knew that she would do well” she continues. “Surprised us that she wanted to do this show though. She had never danced before.”

In the 18th season of the special, Palin even tackles some of the BS being spread about her family.

“There’s also rumors that Trig isn’t my son,” Palin says. “There’s also rumors that Track went to Iraq to avoid jail. There is a lot of BS out there. I don’t want to just believe that it comes with the territory, when you put yourself forward, in the name of public service, that you have to take that kind of garbage that’s out there. There are constant rumors out there about us. I saw on the cover of a tabloid, that we were getting a $20 million divorce. I was in the grocery checkout line when I saw it and I called Todd and said, “I can’t believe the cover of this magazine! This is what it says.” And Todd says, “20 million bucks? Write me a check.”

Also making the list are Justin Beiber, Kate Middleton, Betty White, Jennifer Lopez and the cast of ‘Jersey Shore.’ The special airs Thursday night on ABC at 10 p.m. Eastern.

Palin criticized for using hunting as a political act

Posted by loricalabrese on December 9, 2010

We knew there would be a protest from PETA, but Sarah Palin’s killing of a caribou on “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” Sunday night has also brought playwright, screenwriter and television writer, Aaron Sorkin to the Huffington Post to criticize the former governor about her hunting motivation.

Sorkin, who authored the screenplay for ‘The Social Network,’ and whose works include A Few Good Men, The American President, The West Wing, Sports Night, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip criticizes Palin’s motivation behind the segment writing, “You weren’t killing that animal for food or shelter or even fashion. You were killing it for fun. You enjoy killing animals.”

Sorkin also goes on to write, “And you didn’t just do it for fun and you didn’t just do it for money. That was the first moose ever murdered for political gain. You knew there’d be a protest from PETA and you knew that would be an opportunity to hate on some people, you witless bully.”

Sorkin, who was born in Manhattan and raised in the wealthy suburb of Scarsdale, New York has obviously never hunted in his life.
