Sarah Palin: “Here’s to liberty!” – Think Sam Adams

Governor Palin sent out a St. Patrick’s Day greeting today with this message:

After doing a quick Google, it dawned on me the symbolism in Governor Palin’s CPAC joke about Sam Adams and this latest greeting. As many may know, the Boston brewery company Samuel Adams is named for Samuel Adams, who was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and the son of a brewer. You can find a brief description of his contributions to our country’s founding efforts here.
