Palin: Government, Stay Out of my Refrigerator!

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 11, 2013

Earlier today a New York state judge blocked Mayor Bloomberg’s decision to ban the sale of sugary drinks over 16 ounces. Judge Milton Tingling cited the law as “fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences.”  Tony Lee over at Brietbart News has an excellent article with more of the details.

In response to this decision, Sarah Palin tweeted the following:

Victory in NYC for liberty-loving soda drinkers. To politicians with too much time on their hands we say: Govt, stay out of my refrigerator!

Rock on Sarah!

Palin to Pen Book about Christmas

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 11, 2013

sarah-gestures-at-lexington-ky-book-signing3Sarah Palin knows the importance of winning the culture war and in a new book is taking on the subject of Christmas.

According to The Washington Post,  “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas” is due to be released by HarperCollins in November.

A search on Amazon does not yield any results yet; however, as soon as a cover is released we’ll be sure to share this information with our readers.

From The Washington Post:

NEW YORK — Sarah Palin has a new book coming, this time about Christmas.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor has a deal with HarperCollins for “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas,” scheduled for November.  HarperCollins announced Monday that the book will criticize the “over-commercialism” and “homogenization” of Christmas and call for a renewed emphasis on the religious importance.

“Amidst the fragility of this politically correct era, it is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored,” Palin said in a statement released through her publisher. “This will be a fun, festive, thought provoking book, which will encourage all to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas.”  More

Bobby Schindler: Invitation to a Night with Governor Sarah Palin!

Posted by Dr. Fay on March 11, 2013

Terri Schiavo’s brother, executive director of of Terri Schiavo Hope & Life Network, e-mailed this invitation to the foundation’s Awards Gala at the downtown Philadelphia Marriot on Terri’s Day, April 5.   Governor Palin will be the special guest speaker at the event.  Also see our previous post  here.

Dear Friend,

Sarah Palin was right, you know. She called them “Death Panels.” The media attacked her viciously for it, but she was right.

Now they’re called IPAB’s—Independent Patient Advisory Boards. Their purpose is still to decide whose life is worth living and whose is not. And they’re still the enemy of life and hope.

On April 5, Sarah Palin is our honored speaker at an award gala in honor of my sister, the late Terri Schiavo.

I hope you can be there, because I know all about committees that decide who can live and who cannot. Long before “Obamacare,” my sister was the victim of a committee that decided her life was not worth living, so she was starved to death.

My family and I established the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network to help families that are experiencing the same trauma that our family did with Terri.

Your generous support has allowed us to offer legal, medical and media help through our network of lawyers, physicians and members of the media who are sympathetic to our cause.

In the future, we want to build an outpatient Rehabilitation Center so patients like Terri have a place to go where they can be helped—and allowed to live.

It is because of your financial support that enables us to help “other Terris”—the vulnerable potential targets of Death Panels around the country. Thank you!

I hope you can join us on April 5 to help us celebrate Terri’s Day. It would also give me the opportunity to say “thank you” in person.

Terri’s Day begins with a Mass at 5:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul, in Philadelphia. Archbishop Charles Chaput will be the celebrant.

Following the Memorial Mass, the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network’s Award Gala will be held at the downtown Philadelphia Marriott, with Sarah Palin as the special guest speaker.

You know Sarah Palin will say something you will want to remember!

Space is limited, so you can click here to purchase tickets for yourself, family members or friends.

The price for tickets to the dinner gala is $150. If you are not able to attend, you can still support this special night!

You can click here to donate $100 and we will include your name in the dinner gala program and send you a DVD commemorating the night! Or if you would like to make a contribution less than $100 you can click here too!

Your gift will be so crucial to the future growth of Terri’s Life & Hope Network, as it will support not only our dinner gala but also the mounting expenses of our mission.

Again, thank you so much for being one of the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network’s supporters…and thank you in advance for whatever generous help you can send to ensure the success of what will certainly be this momentous “Terri’s Day” on April 5.

Bobby Schindler
Executive Director

P.S. Please click here to purchase your tickets to the dinner gala with Sarah Palin!

P.P.S. Click here if you would like us to send you a DVD commemorating the dinner gala as well as list your name in the dinner gala program for gifts of $100 or more!

The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is a nonprofit group dedicated to ensuring the rights of disabled, elderly and vulnerable citizens against care rationing, euthanasia and medical killing. Incorporated in 2001 to fight for the life of Terri Schindler Schiavo, the clear focus now and in the future is to help others avoid future tragedies that reflect what Terri endured.

Palin: Bolling’s Offer Must Suffice for Now

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 11, 2013

Sarah Palin used her Facebook page to draw attention to the closing of the White House tours.

Bake sales, anyone? I make a mean Baked Alaska, but afraid Nanny State would shut ‘er down. Bolling’s offer must suffice for now.

Palin then shared this story:

Fox News anchor offers to personally pay to keep White House tours open

As critics pounce on the White House for closing their doors to tourists because of the automatic spending cuts that went into effect this month, a Fox News anchor is offering his own solution that will certainly create some buzz.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, anchor Eric Bolling announced that he will offer to personally pay the costs to keep the tours at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue open for a week.  More
