Sarah Palin Talks Illegal Immigration, Socialism, BP, Oil Spills, And Putting America Back On The Right Track

Posted by Gary P Jackson on May 20, 2010

When the President went on to speak about immigration, some people are going to listen to his sound bites and ask: “Is this another ‘you lie’ moment?

~Sarah Palin

On Wednesday, Sarah Palin gave a lengthy interview with Fox Business News’ David Asman on his popular America’s Nightly Scoreboard show. In this interview, Sarah talks about a wide range of topics: The power of her political endorsements, Obama’s march towards socialism, British Petroleum, the oil spill, corruption, and of course, the hot topic of illegal immigration.

No words minced here. This is Sarah Palin callin’ it like she sees it.

Palin on Putting America Back on Track

Palin: Every Border State Should Have Arizonas Law

Palin: We Cannot Continue on Road Toward Socialism

Palin on BP Oil Spill, Terrorism

This is serious red meat Sarah is dishing out. Solid answers to the most pressing questions of our time. Here is Sarah Palin showing not only her toughness, but her belief in American Exceptionalism.

Sarah also talks about her own career as she dealt with corruption, especially within the Alaska Republican Party, as well as her hard core stance on the oil companies and environmental responsibility.

Why aren’t we hearing this sort of candor and enthusiasm, and these sort of solutions from the GOP show ponies who think it’s “their turn” in 2012?

Governor Palin: NO to Socialized Health Care

Posted by Ron Devito on August 7, 2009

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no (Palin, 2009, ¶1)!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil (Palin, 2009, ¶2).

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion (Palin, 2009, ¶3).

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors (Palin, 2009, ¶4).

We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, “Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Let’s stop and think and make our voices heard before it’s too late (Palin, 2009, ¶5).

Commentary

Governor Palin — this author would really like to start referring to her as “President Palin,” because as far as he is concerned, she is his President — was right on target with her analysis of the socialized health care bill being proposed. Aside from the factual correctness of her concise statement on the subject, Governor Palin was frank, honest and pulled no punches. No mincing of words, no double-speak, euphemisms, political correctness, gimmicks, or bull.

She distilled in five paragraphs precisely what is wrong with this proposal, and the consequences of it becoming law. Governor Palin did so in an engaging easily understandable way.

Anyone who reads this blog is well aware of the Obama’s Orwellian approach to this bill. He has asked Americans to snitch on one another to a special email address. He has sent thugs to town hall meetings to turn them into “town brawl” meetings, then blamed the violence on those who do not want this atrocity to be foisted upon us.

Even some who voted for him have come to realize that he is not what Candidate Obama sold himself to be, but is what many of us warned he is — a socialist/communist with a lengthy list of anti-American connections. Unfortunately for those voters, to steal from the words of one such connection — “Rev.” Wright — their chickens are coming home to roost. Unfortunately those of us who want no part of this will be slaughtered by the fox running amok in the hen house if we don’t follow Governor Palin’s advice and fight this.

Ronald Reagan On Socialized Medicine

Posted by Gary P Jackson on July 19, 2009

This piece of history from the great Ronald Reagan needs little set up, or commentary. As always, Reagan says it well. His very first words say so much, and looking through the prism of history were 100 percent correct. The rest is rather chilling.

This speech was done in 1961 and was part of a Coffee Cup Campaign against socialized medicine, a scheme the democrats were floating around at the time. This of course stands as proof that you can never turn your back on a democrat, because they are always scheming, always planing their insanity.

Ronald Reagan was a private citizen at the time this was recorded. And of course this socialist scheme was defeated.

Say, isn’t there a certain western Governor who is about to become a private citizen in about a week?

Wonder what she will have to say on this?
