Palin: ‘Congratulations to the People of Wisconsin”

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on June 6, 2012

Last night after Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch secured victories in the Wisconsin recall election, Sarah Palin posted the following congratulatory message on her Facebook page to the people of Wisconsin:

Congratulations to the people of Wisconsin for standing by strong leaders who made tough decisions in dire circumstances that have begun to turn their great state back to prosperity. Leadership is doing what is right, not what is popular. Both Scott Walker and Rebecca Kleefisch are shining examples of this ideal. Elected leaders must do what we elect them to do – lead! – not follow polls or focus on only re-election. A special congratulations to Lt. Gov. Kleefisch who overcame much personal adversity, stood by her governor, and embraced her Tea Party roots.

On Wisconsin! Forward!

Palin: “State Leaders are going to Teach National Leaders a Lesson” (Video)

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on June 6, 2012

Governor Sarah Palin appeared with Neal Cavuto on the FOX Business News Network last night prior to the Wisconsin race being called for Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.  Palin was confident that the “good folks of Wisconsin would not recall Walker or Kleefisch”.  Reports earlier in the evening showed exit polling results at “50-50” with early returns having Walker and Kleefisch at 59%-60%.  Wisconsin voters sent a clear message with both Walker and Kleefisch taking 53% of the vote.   (Use the drop down menu to view results for each Wisconsin recalled office results.)

“Austerity is a good thing. This is a virtue that the governor is representing and he’s just letting the public know that they have the opportunity to live within their means, actually cut government spending and allow private sector to create jobs. I think that the voters will embrace that.”

Gov. Palin: $20 Million Contract for Obamacare Propaganda is Crony Capitalism on Steroids

Posted by Dr. Fay on May 23, 2012

Governor Palin talked to Greta Van Susteren  On The Record last night.  Greta asked her opinion on the $20 million contract HHS has awarded a PR firm to promote and explain Obamacare.  They both agreed that this should not be done before the Supreme Court’s decision on the constitutionality of Obamacare,  a decision that should be forthcoming in about 4 weeks.  Governor Palin described the propaganda piece as  “one of the stupidest things I’ve heard coming out of the Obama administration.”   She thought that it probably violates procurement  and other laws pertaining to government contracts.   She said the “head honchos” of the firm awarded the contract are Obama surrogates and that the contract is “payback for their support of Obama”.

Gov. Palin  responded to Greta’s question about Biden’s accusation of the Tea Party Congressment as “obstructionists” by  saying that the Tea Party fiscal conservatives’ goal is to obstruct more government growth and to awaken America to the road to bankruptcy that Obama and Biden have us on.    Asked about the Texas race, she predicted that Ted Cruz would win.  At that point, she announced her endorsement of Senator Orrin Hatch in Utah and referred to him as “Mr. Balanced Budget.”   She also predicted that Governor  Scott Walker will win in Wisconsin and that Wisconsin will be just fine because of his leadership.    Gov. Palin further predicted that the outcome of the June 5 election in Wisconsin will be indicative of how the state will vote in the general election.
