Huffington Post Blows More Smoke (Update: Video – Bill O’Reilly Calls Huff Po Pinheads)

Posted by Adrienne Ross on February 25, 2010

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

The Huffington Post is once again more than willing to make Governor Palin look bad–even if that means they have to spin things to get that job done.

On “Good Morning America” today, in an interview with Bill O’Reilly, George Stephanopoulos brought up Governor Jeb Bush’s comments about Governor Palin’s readiness for a 2012 presidential run. Bush, whose own name has been thrown around as a potential candidate, said a few days ago:

“My personal belief is that for Governor Palin to be a successful candidate for higher office, she needs to take this charisma she has and also add to it some depth of understanding of the complexity of life that we’re living in today. If she had the combination of that, she would be a formidable candidate.”

Complexity of life? What does that mean? Has she not been leading discussions on health care, the economy, national security, energy independence? What simplistic issues does he think the governor has been dealing with lately: cookie baking? basket weaving?

Jeb Bush went on to say he doesn’t know what Governor Palin’s deal is. Well, where has he been then? Her deal is the same deal millions of Americans share. Her deal is what the Tea Party movement has been meeting about, hard-working Americans are concerned about, and a plethora of organizations are scrapping to schedule her to come and talk about. What’s not to get? What part of common sense conservatism is causing Jeb Bush trouble? What’s his deal?

Now, the Huff Po is consistent, if nothing else. One can always count on them to advance their purposes by any means necessary, so today they half-reported O’Reilly’s response to Stephanopoulos’s question about Bush’s statement.

They wrote:

As for frequent “O’Reilly Factor” guest Sarah Palin, O’Reilly says she absolutely wants to run but has to weigh whether she wants to put her family through the process. And, he added, she needs to study up.

“Sarah Palin needs to go to college,” O’Reilly said. “Political college, world affairs college, and she is. She’s hired a bunch of advisers and they’re giving her a whole bunch of tracks to learn, because it is a sophisticated deal.”

O’Reilly, who has interviewed Governor Palin on a few occasions and has spoken well of her afterwards–he who doesn’t ask softball questions, as he’s wont to boast–should have done a better job dealing with Governor Bush’s baseless comment. For reasons I cannot fathom, he didn’t speak up about the substantive issues he and she have engaged in, didn’t call Bush out for his comment–void of anything resembling fact–and didn’t ask, “Pinhead?”

Nonetheless, there was more to the answer he gave than the Huff Po would have you know.

NewsBusters reported what the Huff Po conveniently left out.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Is she ready?

O’REILLY But, Bush is right, the Governor’s right in the sense that Sarah Palin needs to go to college, political college, world affairs college. And she is. She’s hired a bunch of advisers. And they’re giving her a whole bunch of tracts to learn. Because, it is a sophisticated deal. But, give me a break. Nancy Pelosi’s a genius? She’s the Speaker of the House. She’s afraid to come on my program, Stephanopoulos. If she were sitting where you are sitting, she’d be shaking. She can’t answer the questions.

STEPHANOPOULOS: I don’t know about that.

O’REILLY: She can’t answer the questions. All right? So, yeah, Sarah Palin needs a little bit more seasoning. But, don’t tell me Harry Reid and Boehner and Pelosi are geniuses. They’re not. The country’s in a mess. If they were geniuses, we’d be better off.

As I said, O’Reilly did not go into detail regarding the governor’s grasp of issues as he has done in the past, perhaps because he wanted to go in a different direction, to make a separate point, which he did. O’Reilly’s point was if one wants to talk about someone who’s lacking understanding, they need not look any further than the Speaker of the House. It is she, he asserts, who can’t answer the questions, so much so that she wouldn’t dare take the challenge of being interviewed on “The Factor.”

Governor Palin, on the contrary, has no problems sitting down with him and answering whatever question he throws her way because she does know the issues. And while there will be those in the “Vicious press,” as O’Reilly called them, who will read into his comment that the governor needs more “seasoning,” his point was this: they all need a little more, including Reid and Boehner. But Speaker Pelosi needs a lot more than seasoning, and Governor Palin could definitely take her to school.

Update: Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor this evening:

Sarah Palin Punks The Huffington Post: The Reason She will Be Elected President In 2012

Posted by Gary P Jackson on February 8, 2010

Unless you live under a rock, you know that over the past few days Sarah Palin has rocked the world. Sarah spoke at what is being reported as the largest ever Chamber of Commerce meeting in the country on Friday night, and by Sunday afternoon, was sharing the stage with Rock and Roll icon Ted Nugent in Houston, Texas, where, in front of an enthusiastic, overflow crowd, Governor Rick Perry gave her a proclamation naming her an honorary Texan.

Now being a Texan, I can tell you that is something that we don’t take lightly. Being born a Texan is a special blessing, and we don’t hand out the honorary stuff to just anyone.

Of course, the really big deal this weekend, proclamation notwithstanding, was Sarah’s appearance at the first ever National Tea Party Convention, where she spoke to the nation, it was the real State of the Union speech, if you will.

The speech was incredible. It was stirring and emotional, Sarah pulled no punches. The speech was followed by a lively question and answer session from the event moderator. Sarah also set down with Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace for a hard hitting interview, where she hit another home run.

We’ll have a video and analysis coming. (Hey… it’s the weekend!)

Anyhow, the Saturday night speech in Nashville was a game changer. It was very fitting that Sarah gave such a powerful speech on the occasion of the 99th birthday of one of our greatest Presidents, Ronald Reagan.

So powerful was the speech that the moonbats on the left weren’t sure how to attack her. I mean let’s face it, progressives can’t compete in the marketplace of ideas. They know they will lose. It’s why all of their attacks on their opponents have to be so personal. (and false) If forced to argue strictly on the merit of their ideas, progressives would be laughed off the planet, so…they lie, hate, and scheme.

The best (worst?) Of the bunch at spreading lies and hate is the Huffington Post. We’ve long reported the ties that Zsa Zsa over there has to the money people behind the smears on Sarah Palin. We’ve also reported on the various members of Obama’s Alaska Mafia, hate mongers and serial liars like Shannyn Moore and Jeanne Devon, who she provides editorial space to, so they can spread their lies and hate.

Anyhow, these are ridiculous little people devoid of any worth to humanity whatsoever, and totally without one single redeeming quality.

Now again, none of these people could argue with Sarah’s red meat speeches or interviews. I mean how do you argue against liberty, freedom, and a strong national defense?

So they went looking. What did these loons come up with?

Oh the horror, Sarah Palin had a few notes scrawled on her hand! That’s right, this “rube” wrote a few things on her hand. How unsophisticated. How common, how ordinary.

Andrew Marcus over at Big Government has the “evidence” of the scribblings here.

Now the left is all over the place on this. To some it means she’s not “presidential” because she did something that pretty much everyone of us have done at least once in their life. To others it means she’s “dumb” because she needed notes to give a speech. Never mind Obama takes his teleprompter with him everywhere, lest he be left to his own devices, which is not pretty, as Obama is more gaffetastic than his famously gaffe prone Vice President.

I mean this guy has to have a teleprompter in a staff meeting, and while talking to school kids! How sad.

Anyhow, the left has just been having a field day with all of this today. They actually think this is something anyone with a brain cares about. That somehow this hurts Sarah.

I love the smell of desperation on the morning!

The far left moonbats like Huffington and her writers are so out of touch with America it’s simply pathetic. This is why the corrupt, Obamacentric media is going broke. They have no idea who their audience is or what they care about.

Most Americans look at Sarah and see themselves. Sarah is every man/woman. She’s one of us. And ya know, gosh darn it, she does things just like we do ‘em.

For Sarah’s part, she just punked the hell out of Zsa Zsa and her writers over at HuffPo!

If you look closely, the writing on Sarah’s hand says “Hi mom!

This dear readers is why Sarah Palin will be the next President of the United States. Oh, we’ll elect her because of her stellar record of achievements, for her strong record of getting the job done, of course, but it’s her spirit, her absolute refusal to lay down and play dead when the hate mongers on the left go after her that puts her heads and shoulders above anyone and everyone else in politics today.

Just as Ronald Reagan was smiling down on our Sarah on Saturday night, he was having a hardy chuckle with her on Sunday afternoon! Reagan was a master at hammering his opponents with a smile. It’s obvious that Sarah is cut from that same presidential cloth!

Our friends over at HillBuzz agree. Their take on this is dead on:

The reason Sarah Palin will be President in 2012, distilled in one picture

Hi Mom.

That’s what Sarah Palin wrote on her hand today, technically, before speaking at a campaign rally for Rick Perry in Texas.

Hi Mom” can also be loosely translated as “F-U, Lefties“.

Here’s what Sarah Palin did today, and why it’s not only brilliant, but it’s the chief reason this woman will be our 45th President.

She hit the Left back, in a subtle way that drives them crazy. THAT, friends, is quite an art form. We respect everyone alive who practices this sort of Fu.

Palin knew the Left, particularly the Huffington Post, has been trying to create an issue of several words Palin wrote on her hand before the Tea Party Convention speech yesterday: Energy, Taxes, American Spirit.

We do this too, FYI, whenever we have to do any public speaking, since we don’t usually take notecards with us or have a podium in front of us. We just write down a few key words, on our palm, so that we cover the three or four things we really wanted to talk about…lest we miss one of them. Unlike the current president, we don’t have a TelePrompTer traveling with us everywhere we go. Neither does Palin.

We hope Palin makes the “Hi Mom” thing a regular inside-joke.

The Huffalumps tried to make an issue of her palm-notes…and obsessed over staring at pictures of them yesterday…so Palin sent them a message today, letting them know she’s aware they are scrutinizing her palms…so she might as well send her Mom a message.

Those of you who met Mrs. Heath on Palin’s book tour have told us she’s a VERY nice woman (Mr. Heath too)…so we say “Hi Sarah’s Mom” today too.

Palin is quick with responses to the lunatics on the Left, which is remarkable. She gets in front of a story before it becomes an issue. She hits back hard when needed, but can use more subtle smacks when those are more appropriate.

We think she effectively disarmed this issue, in a humorous, fun way that’s relatable to average Americans.

Her ninja throwing star Facebook dispatches are well-crafted and deadly to her opponents.

Today, she proved her more subtle hits can be just as effective.

This woman has all the skills she needs to become President in two years.

All that’s missing is her ground team…of which we, and hopefully YOU, will surely be a part.

Go, Sarah, Go!

They are so right! Here’s the thing Sarah has that no other political figure in the country, on either side, has: Courage.

Sarah Palin is fearless. She got her “Sarahcuda” nickname while playing championship high school basketball. She was a tough player then, and an ever tougher player now.

This is the kind of leader a great nation deserves. Someone who doesn’t lay over and play dead when they are attacked by guttersnipes and low-lifes. Someone who doesn’t seek the approval of the radical elements of society.

Sarah is a hard nosed, tough minded leader. She also has a wicked sense of humor. I’m sure Ronnie would approve, I know we do!

Dissolving the Palin Prejudice

Posted by Adrienne Ross on December 18, 2009

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

I don’t agree with everything Stephen H. Dinan has to say about Governor Palin, but I am willing to listen to what he has to say. The reason is simple: he’s chosen to listen to what she has to say. In so doing, he has taken the road less traveled by the mainstream media. He chose to travel down Going Rogue Lane to find out who the Governor really is, rather than who the haters want people to believe she is. He chose to get to know her himself. The best way to do that, obviously, is to read her memoir and hear her words “unfiltered,” as she says. He does just that. For this I commend him.

So what led Dinan on this journey?

Over Thanksgiving, I was hiking with my brother-in-law when he commented that he only knew two kinds of people: those who loved Sarah Palin and those who hated her. Nobody was in the gray zone. While I didn’t consider myself a “hater,” I also knew that she had triggered intense reactions in me when she joined the Republican ticket. After Obama’s victory, the fear of her becoming President subsided along with the negative charge, but I had to confess to a lingering prejudice beneath the surface.

One week later, I bought her autobiography, Going Rogue. Why? To dissolve my own prejudice and to better understand how we as a culture can go beyond the extreme political polarizations that have so paralyzed our country.

[…]

So reading Going Rogue was something of a test for myself – could I find the place of appreciation, respect, and even love for Sarah Palin?

What I found is that it wasn’t really that hard, actually, simply by taking the time to meet her on her own turf rather than through sounds bites, spin, and polarized media battles. Reading someone’s personal memoir is an intimate journey into their inner sanctum, and I developed a real appreciation for Sarah in reading the book.

This brings to mind a quote from my favorite novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. Atticus Finch taught his six year old daughter, Scout, a very important life-lesson when he said:

You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view…until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.

This further reinforces my philosophy that most of the lessons one needs to learn can be gathered from Harper Lee’s classic novel.

Stephen H. Dinan came away from Going Rogue with a deeper understanding of Governor Palin, her upbringing, her love for family, her patriotic passion, and her desire to serve. He acknowledges, too, the prejudices she continues to face. He admits what liberals have been loath to admit–that she arouses fear and worry in people–and he doesn’t exempt himself from those same emotions. Furthermore, he states that this has led to

a barrage of distorted stories, inflated fears, and downright misrepresentations, some of which were quite damaging to her family.

It’s the sad truth, yet it’s refreshing to finally hear someone confess what we’ve always known to be true.

The bottom line is that Dinan had the courage to put aside his own prejudices in favor of the truth. And when he did, he discovered the Governor Palin who always existed, but one he had heretofore been deaf and blind to because he had been listening to and looking at others who themselves didn’t know her. Going Rogue allowed him to get a real look.

Although he doesn’t agree with every position Governor Palin takes, he has come to find what Scout finds at the end of To Kill A Mockingbird when she finally sees Boo Radley, the man she has known only through the rumors and smears of her neighbors. Scout realizes Boo cannot be honestly defined by others. The real Boo Radley would write his own story for Scout Finch to read.

To Kill A Mockingbird ends with this exchange between Scout and her father, Atticus, when she realizes Boo is not the monster he has been made out to be:

“When they finally saw him, why he hadn’t done any of those things…Atticus, he was real nice…”

“Most people are, Scout, when you finally see them.”

Dinan made the effort to see Governor Palin.

Stephen H. Dinan’s article is a good one–and it’s published in the Huffington Post, of all places. Maybe they’ll get the message and take a look also.

The Racism Game – We’re Not Playing

Posted by Adrienne Ross on December 11, 2009

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

This morning Joshua, my Conservatives4Palin colleague, blew a hole in the stupid suggestion that Governor Palin left Hawaii after just one semester because there were too many Asians there. Here the Left goes again, trying to depict the Governor as a racist in order to do what the Left always does: play the race card. The tactic is old, tired, and played out. It only shows how utterly desperate and despicable the anklebiters are, possessing no better game plan than to smear a patriot who has shown nothing but complete love and devotion to her country and its citizens–all of them.

To the Huffington Post, in response to your asinine question, “Did Sarah Palin leave Hawaii because there were too many Asians?” I have a couple questions for you:

1. Did you read the Governor’s book? In it she tells why she left Hawaii. Pick up the bestseller and enjoy the read. It’ll spare you the embarrassment of asking your agenda-laden question.

2. Are you so foolish as to think that the Governor was shocked when she got to Hawaii and found Asians there? Common sense should tell you that she knew when she left Alaska for Hawaii that she was going to…well, Hawaii. She knew, therefore, Asians resided there. That didn’t stop her from going, so why would it drive her away? It didn’t.

This Hawaii nonsense is just the newest in a long history of “Sarah Palin is a racist” schtick. This is the first one I heard involving Asians, however. I guess the haters are strengthening their approach. Normally, it’s the racism-against-Blacks smear that gets the attention. It’s become a movement, albeit one without a shred of substance. But how could there be? Chris Matthews is its leader, and he doesn’t have any substance either. Time and again, he has raised the issue of race when it comes to the Governor. Is Sarah Palin the poster girl for racism? Were there any Black people at the book signing?

He’s so very concerned about Black people, isn’t he? His concern would be heart-warming for me, a Black woman, if I thought there was a shred of sincerity in it.

Instead, he’s making a mockery of those, like Dr. King, who truly stood up for racial equality and wanted people to be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Although I imagine Dr. King would have enjoyed her memoir, I find it extremely hard to believe he would have been asking how many Black people showed up at Governor Palin’s book signing. I think he was deeper than that. Surely he, a worthy Nobel Peace Prize recipient, did not dedicate his life to justice and peace so some hater could count off how many Black people showed up at an event. Somehow I just know he believed all Americans worthy of better than that–and would never have used people to promote his political agenda, counting people like sheep, and masking it in concern.

I suppose Huff Po and Chris Matthews would be satisfied if Governor Palin had driven around the streets in her Going Rogue tour bus, picking up stray people and busing them to the book signing so she could have a nice photo-op and the racebaiters could be happy.

No, the Governor treats people as people. She loves her country–and this country is made up of all different kinds of people. She espouses a message of common sense conservatism, and that message is one that benefits all Americans. Lower taxes, love for our troops, less government intrusion, and respect for human life don’t have race attached to them. Contrary to what the Chris Matthewses of the world would lead people to believe, those principles do not discriminate. They don’t segregate whites from non-whites. They don’t appeal simply to the white people of the world, which seems to be what some on the Left would have us believe. I like them just fine, and the last time I checked I was not white. The Governor doesn’t have one message for Blacks, one for Asians, and one for Caucasians. There’s one America, and that’s the America she sees and loves.

What qualifies me to speak so authoritatively on the issue? Why should my word be taken over Chris Matthews, the Huffington Post, or others who smear Governor Palin?

I’m a firm believer of the quote, “A person with an experience is never at the mercy of a person with an argument.” My experience with the Governor shows me what kind of person she is. I have been in her presence several times now, both in New York a couple times and in Alaska. Not one time has she treated me any differently than anyone else. I have been in the presence of her family members. I have talked more to Todd Palin than I have his wife. He, too, has been nothing but friendly and welcoming. I have talked extensively with the Governor’s parents, and I consider them friends. Never has there been a hint of standoffishness or a tinge of racism from any of these people. When I saw the Governor in Rochester a couple weeks ago, she hugged me warmly and spoke as she would to someone she respected.

So the racism nonsense is just that: Nonsense with a captital N. Neither the Huffington Post, MSNBC, or any other racebaiter will convince me that the Governor is anything other than an upstanding citizen who is so totally free from racial bias that it doesn’t play a factor in how she governed in Alaska, how she relates to people now, or the principles she holds dear.

I say again, a person with an experience is never at the mercy of a person with an argument.

America, questions about whether or not the Governor left college because she was a racist and questions about how many Black people showed up at a particular book signing are framed to insult your intelligence and play on your emotions. The truth is these foolish souls don’t believe you’re wise enough to catch on to the racebaiting. It’s the game they try to lure you into. Let them know you’re not playing.

Surprise! Billionaire Obama Supporter Keeping Levi Johnston In The Spotlight

Posted by Gary P Jackson on October 8, 2009

As we have talked about since the election, there has been a coordinated effort by backers of Barack Obama to harm Governor Sarah Palin. We have also talked about the efforts put forth by both candidate, and now President, Barack Obama to do everything in his power to derail Sarah Palin.

We have previously talked about Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia and how Obama and Pete Rouse, his former campaign chief-of -staff and now White House adviser, not only played an active roll in the failed “Troopergate” smear on Sarah Palin, but also actively coordinated the many attacks on Sarah post election, including encouraging the filing of all of the phony-baloney “ethics complaints” against her that would eventually cost the Alaskan taxpayers around $2 million.

Barack Obama even did a little pay-for-play “Chicago Style” payoff to Alaska State Senator Kim Elton for his part in the “Troopergate” smear. After being sworn in, Obama quietly appointed Elton to a make work job over at the Department of Interior. You can read the whole deal, as well as watch the great video that ties the entire mess together in a nice little bow, here.

As you know, Levi Johnston, the poster child for abstinence, and deadbeat dad of the century, is now “staring” in an advertising campaign for nuts. This ad, which also features his “bodyguard” “Tank” Jones, an Alaska private investigator, who works for Alaska attorney Rex Butler, a big Obama supporter, features Levi and “Tank” pretending to be at an “event” and has Levi eating the company’s nut.

Butler, who claims to be Levi’s “manager” is also representing Levi’s mother, who is facing drug trafficking charges.

The seriously cheesy ad, which features Levi in a green t-shirt with “Alaska” on it, (because no one would know who this moron is without it) is set against an all white background with “flash bulbs” going off and “canned” crowd noises while ‘Tank” pretends to “fight back the paparazzi!”

Perfectly pathetic, just like the participants!

Our friend Gregory Tart did some digging into Roll Industries, the parent company behind all of this. On his blog, Gregory reports that:

For months last year, the Huffington Post mocked Sarah Palin over Levi Johnston. The jokes about “meth”, hillbillies, and Bristol Palin was beyond the pale.

Now, Obama backers have launched an equally insidious deal to keep Levi Johnston in the public eye through a promotional campaign by Roll Industries for its nuts products- which seeks to profit from the former relationship between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston. Johnston is a spokesman for the Roll’s Paramount Growers division.

Stewart A. Resnick, a billionaire liberal democrat, residing in Los Angeles, is the Chairman of Roll International. Rolls’ business involves agriculture, Fiji Water, and the Franklin Mint. He is also a prime financial backer behind the Democratic Party. His wife Lynda is Godmother to Arianna Huffington’s daughter.

Many have speculated that rich democrats would go to any lengths to keep this character in the public eye to embarrass Sarah Palin. It’s a sad world where the rich can score political points by attacking children to get at the mother.

Rolls International Brands include Sunkist.

Some very interesting points there, for sure. The ties to hate monger Arianna Huffington, whose vile Huffington Post actively and openly promotes hatred toward Sarah Palin are the most interesting, for sure.

In her attempts to constantly smear and spread lies about Sarah Palin, Huffington plucked two Z-list bloggers Shannyn Moore and Jeanne Devon (AKMuckraker) from obscurity, and made them feature bloggers on her website. Moore and Devon are charters members of Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia.

One of the things Moore and Devon, along with Linda Kellen Biegel, were quite adept at, was illegally publicizing details of the various “ethics complaints” filed against Governor Palin. In Alaska, it’s illegal to publicize this sort of thing, until the complaint is resolved. Of course, the law has no teeth.

Oddly enough, if you do this and the complaint is against any government official EXCEPT the Governor, the complaint is thrown out. But curiously, not if it’s against the Governor or their staff. Hmmmmm.

Moore and Devon, along with the rest of the Alaska Mafia made great use of this loophole, often having intimate details of the complaints published on their blogs before they were even filed!

Wonder how they were able to do that? Could it be they were the ones writing them for others to file on their behalf?

The complaints, which have all been dismissed, were for ridiculous things like being photographed holding a fish, conducting an interview in her office, receiving cookies as a “bribe,” and wearing a jacket in sub-zero weather!

Linda Kellin Biegel, who was raising funds (possibly illegally) on her website so she could file more ethics complaints, herself, even concocted a conspiracy theory when Sarah went to visit her troops in Kosovo!

Even better, being the constitutional scholar that she is, Biegel, and her Mafia buddies decided that it was “unconstitutional” for Sarah Palin to talk to her troops while visiting them in Kosovo! I kid you not!

Sarah Palin, as Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska National Guard, addressed her troops giving them encouragement and support. Bringing them the best wishes from home.

Such is the depths of depravity these supreme sufferers of Palin Derangement Syndrome are capable of!

Look, the bottom line is this. Barack Obama and his many wealthy supporters know what we know. Sarah Palin is the biggest threat out there to Barack Obama, besides Barack Obama’s own incompetence. They know that she is an incredibly effective politician, see “death panels,” as well as a much loved Conservative figure and leading candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. This has them scared, as it should.

Obama’s billionaire backers like Stewart Resnick and George Soros have an almost endless supply of funds they will use to go after Palin in all sorts of “creative” ways. It must be noted though, that George Soros, whose MoveOn.org claimed “ownership” of the democrat party after the 2006 elections, spent a small fortune between 2000 and 2008 trying to defeat George Bush, to no avail!

As for Levi Johnston, this guy is a flake. Thank goodness Bristol had the good sense to dump this loser. It’s really a sad commentary that this kid would disrespect his son just to make a fast buck.

Levi, a total deadbeat who hasn’t paid one red cent in child support, is the sort person society used to shun. But we are living in the times were losers like this are celebrated, not banished to the ash heap of history. See Roman Polanski, David Letterman, and Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings.

It’s obvious Levi Johnston has no self respect. But you would think this mutt would care about his son, Tripp, enough not to make a spectacle out of himself, but that is just too much to ask, I guess. Levi’s next move is to pose for Playgirl Magazine. I wonder if anyone has told Levi that about 80 percent of the purchasers of Playgirl are gay men?

It looks like Roll Industries, Stewart Resnick, and our President, have found themselves quite the winner in “spokesmodel” Levi Johnston!

Roll International is the parent company for these fine products:

Sunkist Fruit

Teleflora, the largest flower delivery service in the world.

FIJI bottled water

POM pomegranate products.

Paramount citrus and nuts.

Suterra pest control items.

Neptune Pacific Line global shipping company

In-house advertising agency Fire Station, which pays Levi as a pitchman for Rolls’ nuts.

H/T to Josh Painter for being on top of this as well. His is a must read blog.

Sarah Palin 14…Ankle Biters O

Posted by Gary P Jackson on June 7, 2009

It’s a sad day over at the Huffington Post and left wing blogs like Mudflats and Celtic Diva’s Blue Oasis. You see, despite their best efforts to smear Alaska Governor Sarah Palin with more than a baker’s dozen of phony ethics complaints since the start of the year, all of their efforts have completely failed.

The latest complaint to be dismissed was incredibly ridiculous. It revolved around the fact that Governor Palin, in sub zero weather, had the temerity to wear a jacket when she attended the final day of the Tesoro Iron Dog Race!

The Iron Dog is the world’s longest and most difficult snow machine race. (snowmobile to us in the lower 48) The Governor was waiting at the finish line in both her official capacity as well as the wife of one of the competitors, her husband Todd, and his partner, Scott Davis. The Iron Dog is a grueling 1,971 mile race through some of the toughest conditions one can imagine. It is a true manly-man sport! Palin and Davis are two of the best, having 11 wins between them in the event.

To tell you how tough this race is, last year Todd finished with a game fourth place effort after a crash slowed him down, and he rode the last 400 miles with a broken arm.

So what was the issue?

Well, you see Governor Palin was wearing an Arctic Cat jacket. Arctic Cat makes snow machines and yes, they sponsor Todd and Scott.

Oh the humanity of it all!

And so, another baseless and comical ethics complaint was born from the ankle biters on the left.

This particular complaint was filed by a nasty woman named Linda Kellen Biegel. She is hostile to Governor Palin, and runs a website, Celtic Diva’s Blue Oasis, that is dedicated to not only spreading this woman’s hate for Governor Palin, but also coordinating attacks against her with other bloggers and members of the press.

Biegel who, according to her own website, is an official blogger for the DNC, has helped publicize the numerous phony harassment complaints against the Governor. In fact, the woman is so notorious for doing this, and then crowing on her website about it, that she actually inspired a group of talented conservative bloggers to create a very funny parody website that is spot on in it’s humorous depiction of her.

Now by herself, Linda Kellen Biegel would just be a sad character with a lot of time on her hands. But Biegel is far from being alone in this.

One has to understand that in Alaska, the far left is a small, but very well coordinated, and funded group. And they have some very big help. Lets meet just some of the players who participate in these smear tactics.

There is fellow hate blogger Jeanne Devon. Devon runs a particularly nasty website know as Mudflats. Now unlike Biegel, Devon didn’t have the guts to blog under her real name. Instead she chose to spread hate and lies under the alias AKMuckraker. This woman is so hateful in her approach, a democrat, Alaska Representative Mike Doogan outed her to the media. Devon and Biegel are very much the coordinators of the attacks against Governor Palin. Along with a couple of smaller bloggers. And yes, they have even went as far as recruiting folks to help file complaints against the Governor.

Now in Alaska, the ethics board doesn’t put out press releases when complaints are filed. They do however report the finding of all investigations once complete.

Of course, that wouldn’t help the democrat bloggers one bit. So they have help from so-called reporters.

Meet Amanda Coyne. Coyne is a college professor who…wait for it… teaches journalism. She also runs a for profit website that is pretty much dedicated to causing Governor Palin grief. Coyne, who claims to be Governor Palin’s “first official biographer”, also writes for the far left Huffington Post. Now the Post isn’t all that important, so Coyne has an ace-in-the-hole, her husband, Tony Hopfinger, who works for the Anchorage Daily News.

Hopfinger, who also freelances, makes sure the ADN is full of less than flattering stories about the Governor. This writer, and others have had issues with the Anchorage paper for some time.

The ADN had the habit of allowing absolutely anything, no matter how disgusting, to be said about Palin in their online comments section, while deleting supportive comments. After some investigating, we found that many of the most hateful comments, from people claiming to be Alaskans, were actually bloggers, and a newspaper columnist or two from the lower 48.

It got so bad that a group of readers actually promised protests and advertiser boycotts if they didn’t clean up their act, which they have since done, to some extent.

Now helping out Amanda Coyne, is fellow HuffPo writer, Shannyn Moore. The malicious content of her writing speaks for itself. Moore has the worst case of Palin Derangement Syndrome imaginable.

Why are people like Coyne, Hopfinger, and Moore important to these hate bloogers like Biegel and Devon, and the DNC’s plans? Well, remember, the State of Alaska isn’t in the habit of publishing complaints when they are filed. And yet, most of the nation’s left wing blogosphere knows about the complaints, often before they are filed.

This is where the HuffPo writers come in. They are tasked with writing story after story of how supposedly corrupt Governor Palin is. And of course, the rest of the media picks up on these stories and runs wild.

And while the complaint makes national and even international news, the fact that it was thrown out, and completely ridiculous, rarely gets reported. This is business as usual for democrats. It’s how they work.

There are other serial ethics complaint filers, like Andree McLeod. It is said that she is angry because the Governor wouldn’t give her a job. And who am I to say different.

Like a lot of the left wing, she claims to be a victim of something, and says she would file many more ethics complaints, if not for the fact “they” might get her. And yet, she is constantly talking about filing more ethics complaints!

Here’s an idea of the type of complaints filed:

McLeod filed an ethics complaint because Governor Palin announced she had been chosen as John McCain’s running mate on her website.

I kid you not!

She also complained because the Governor attended a Republican dinner.

McLeod has also anointed herself as the “cleavage cop” in the state of Alaska. In an e-mail to the administration commissioner Annette Kreitzer , McLeod complained that she was “astounded at the amount and magnitude of cleavage being exhibited by female employees in State of Alaska offices these days. Upon entering an office, I’m initially embarrassed when subjected to such low cut tops. …The negative impact this all has on the business I have to conduct is not to my benefit. I leave the office feeling offended.”

Seriously.

McLeod then hounded Mike Nizich, the governor’s chief of staff, she noted, “That’s a lot of pressure to put on guys, whether they are members of the public or colleagues, to just ignore the fact that these women are wearing tops with breasts popping out. … and not cross the lines.”

According to Eddie Burke, of the Eddie Burke radio show, McLeod was recently seen dining with Alaska Democrat State Senator Bill Wielechowski. Wielechowski has denied any collaboration with McLeod though.

Sure, OK.

While McLeod has filed some really hilarious complaints, she is not alone. There is a fellow named Chip Thoma, who has complained because the tour buses drive by the Governor’s Mansion, and even complained because the Governor’s young daughter, Piper, set up a lemonade stand!

Chip has unsuccessfully sued former Governor Walter J. Hickel saying that Governor was “out to get him”.

Now as I said earlier in this piece, all of the would either by funny, or pathetic, depending on your mood, if it wasn’t so malicious.

Thanks to these complaints, and the Barack Obama initiated “troopergate” fiasco, Governor Palin, who is not a wealthy politician, has had to start a defense fund to help pay her legal bills. And yes, the ankle biters filed a complaint against her for doing this, as well!

These bogus harassment complaints have also cost the State of Alaska around $300,000, prompting many Alaskans to call for a change in the law that would force the folks who file these sort of harassment complaints to have to pay for them.

But what is the end game in all of this?

Well, as I mentioned in an earlier piece exposing George Soros’ connection to the ethics complaint CREW filed against the McCain-Palin campaign, which itself was thrown out by the FEC, this is standard practice for the democrat party. Groups like CREW, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, use the legal system to harass their opponents. It’s one of the “Rules” set forth by Chicago communist Saul Alinsky, whose book on community organizing, “Rules For Radicals” sits on the night stand in most democrat politician’s and activist’s bedrooms, whether they admit it, or not.

With Governor Palin, the end game is even clearer.

Unlike most politicians, who talk a good game about ethics and reform, Governor Palin has a solid record of actually doing it. She actually walks the walk, and doesn’t just talk the talk.

As Palin biographer Recaldo Ochoa points out in his book, “Sarah Palin, Poised To Become America’s First Female President”, Governor Palin was a reformer from the very start. In her earliest days in politics Palin came upon a situation that she felt wasn’t right. Her friend, and the person who actually talked her into running for her city council spot, Nick Carney owned a waste management service. Not a problem in itself, but he was pushing through an ordinance that would have given his company a monopoly on waste pickup in and around the Wasilla community. Friendships aside, Palin felt this was wrong, and actively fought to make sure this didn’t happen.

This sort of basic common sense would follow her into the Mayor’s office.

Now once she had served her two term limit, Sarah Palin looked for another challenge, and ran for Lt Governor. She lost. But she also impressed a lot of folks in Alaska. The Governor, Frank Murkowski, saw fit to appoint her as Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. A top position in the oil rich state.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before Palin found there were some serious problems in her agency. Two of the highest ranking players in the Alaska GOP, party head Randy Ruedrich and former Attorney general Gregg Renkes had some issues. Renkes had some conflicts of interest with a coal contract, and Ruedrich was basically blowing off his job in favor of doing party business.

This is the exact sort of thing that makes the average American distrust all politicians.

Palin took this to her boss, the Governor, who was less than receptive. Now, she could have just went on, and continued to work as head of the agency. After all, this was a good paying six figure job. And her star was really on the rise. She could have “played ball” and it would have been smooth sailing. She would have been set for life.

Sarah Palin didn’t do that. She resigned from her job and took these people on. For most folks, this would have been career suicide. But not for Sarah Palin. Both Renkes and Ruedrich were forced to resign from the agency, and Ruedrich was fined $12,000, the largest fine of it’s kind in state history.

Palin went on to challenge Governor Murkowski in the Republican primary, beating him in a landslide. She then went on to defeat popular former Governor, Tony Knowles.

The point is, for nearly two decades Sarah Palin has been a true, honest, and ethical politician. Someone who doesn’t care who the person is, or what party they belong to. If she sees something that isn’t right, she will point it out and work hard get it stopped.

Of course, this sort of person is not a welcomed sight on the national scene. At least not by the average politician!

Someone like Sarah Palin is a direct threat to any politician, no matter the party, who is corrupt.

The establishment in both parties see her as a direct threat.

So here come the ethics complaints hard and heavy. From the so called “troopergate” complaint that was encouraged along by Barack Obama, to all of these harassment complaints filed and coordinated by the many left wing bloggers, to the phony complaint filed by CREW, the democrats, and I suspect some worried Republicans, are doing everything they can to take away the reformer mantle from Governor Palin. To basically take it off her resume.

Don’t fall for this sort of nonsense. It’s just dirty politics at it’s worse.

This one is an easy choice to make!
