SC AFL-CIO President Beats Effigy of Governor Nikki Haley with Baseball Bat

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on May 24, 2012

You may recall a recent blog post where I published the tweets of a young leftist hater who wanted Governor Sarah Palin “offed”.  Here we have a somewhat more mature woman, president of an influential organization (the South Carolina AFL-CIO) who seems to find it funny to beat an effigy of Governor Nikki Haley with a baseball bat.

Governor Sarah Palin recently weighed in on this disturbing video via her Facebook page:

This story about the South Carolina AFL-CIO President Donna DeWitt beating a piñata with Governor Nikki Haley’s face on it is disgusting. It’s a perfect example of union boss thuggery. To all the good South Carolina cops and teachers and other good union members out there: this is your union dues at work. Are you comfortable with this? Please, good South Carolina union brothers and sisters, demand your union dues be returned to you; demand an apology; quit your disrespectful union if you believe actions like this don’t represent who you really are. Stiffen your spine because you’re better than this. Respectful union members across this great nation: will you condemn or condone this union “leadership” as they give you one helluva name?

– Sarah Palin

The ability to embed the video has now been disabled “by request”.  Palin links to the Hot Air article which provides additional detail.

So, where’s the outcry for “civility”?

The New Face of Civility: Hater Wants Sarah Palin “Offed”

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on May 12, 2012

offed – Verb: Kill;  murder.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.  In this case, here’s about five thousand words for you to take a look at and then slowly let them sink in.

I suppose @mariah_reloaded thinks that it’s very cool to post a tweet inciting violence against Sarah Palin.  After all, if the left did not have Sarah Palin to bash and threaten, whatever would they do with their time?  Soon after posting that tweet, @mariah_reloaded starts having second thoughts upon realizing that blogger Michael Sheppard has captured the above tweet and written a story about it here.  @mariah_reloaded begins to rationalize her use of the word “offed” by tweeting “like I didn’t say I’d do it“.  Apparently @mariah_unloaded does not understand the meaning of “inciting violence”.  The inciter (in this case, @mariah_reloaded) is the one who tweets the suggestion of “offing Palin” thus she seeks to influence the mind of another to commit a crime.

Further conversation with Twitter friends brings @mariah_reloaded to determine that she should probably delete her account.

And delete the account she does!  @mariah_reloaded changes the name on her account and locks it down so that her tweets are no longer public.

Is this an example of the “civil discourse” that President Obama has suggested? Is this where we are as a nation and is this the path we really want to take?  Is this a “content of character” moment?  At a point in my life where I thought I would have more answers than questions, sadly the questions I still have outnumber the answers.

Death by Facebook for Sarah Palin

Posted by Karen Allen on June 7, 2010

Cross-posted from

About a week ago, I posted here samples of hate filled and violent threat tweets toward Governor Sarah Palin. It was not a pleasurable thing to do, but people need to be made aware, especially since Governor Palin has been accused of being hate inciting. The “love everyone and let’s just get along” crowd of the left feels warm and accepting toward every critter and human alive, minus a few select outspoken conservatives, with the main target of their hate being Sarah Palin.

It’s truly astonishing how such people that would consider themselves sane and loving can spew such vitrolic acid from their fingertips and mouths. Just what has Governor Palin and her family done to them personally? How can they wish death and give clear cut methods of achieving it with no remorse or second thought?

Does not Governor Palin have freedom of speech guaranteed to all citizens of the United States of America? Yet, I have never heard or seen anything said or written by her that called for anyone she disagreed with in the world of politics to be killed. And like it or not, I cannot call the cries for her dead body to be tortured and screwed into the oil spill as a plug “free speech” by any sane American.

What? You didn’t hear about that? I found out because TIME magazine’s online news feed page had a story on it. Check out this Facebook page and see for yourself. It calls for “two birds to be killed with one stone” on the information page. At the time of this writing, the group numbers 119,656, fans of the page 1,000,000 People Who Want to Plug the BP Oil Spill with Sarah Palin.

Sound ha, ha, funny? Not if you read the info and wall comments. I certainly hope that the Facebook community reports and flags this page enough to pull it. Facebook itself would do well to avoid any kind of liability or reputation issues by shutting it down quickly. Copycat pages are already popping up like here and here. They should all be eradicated, along with any other FB pages that suggest any person be used in that manner, not just Governor Palin.

If this particular site is gone before you get there to do your good duty of reporting it, take a gander at some screenshots. I call this the WALL OF SHAME. And to any of the fans of that page that may chance to stop by here:  Your mama should wash your mouths out with Lava Soap and send you to military school.

Was that too violent? I was taught not to say some things.

Oh, and one more thing….it’s all about the money, baby. The page’s creator has a Cafe Press store too. Yeah, they even sell stuff for the kiddies. Sick.

Warning: Language Advisory

There are plenty more examples, but you get the gist. Please report and flag this page and similar ones. It is people like these that are making our country a dangerous and divided place. May God help us all.

Be sure to tweet the Gov at @SarahPalinUSA with a Hi-5!
