Palin: DAN BONGINO FOR U.S. SENATE

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on August 20, 2012

Governor Palin has endorsed another candidate for United States Senate and this time the nod goes to Dan Bongino of Maryland.  Palin tweeted the following message of support:

DAN BONGINO FOR U.S. SENATE Though political pundits often dismiss conservative candidates running in deep blue… http://fb.me/1Rq0uH9GH

Palin’s endorsement message as posted to her Facebook page:

Though political pundits often dismiss conservative candidates running in deep blue states, I don’t believe in ignoring good candidates simply because they’re fighting uphill battles against the odds. In fact, I find such candidates incredibly brave and especially worthy of encouragement. In many cases, they are often the most articulate and courageous new conservative voices out there.

In 2012, we must cede no ground in our effort to win back control of the Senate and secure the House. We must fight every race to make sure we equip our next President with a wise Congress ready to work for all Americans. We also owe it to voters in every state — even the deep blue ones — to support good candidates for office so that they have a genuine choice in November. That is why I’m honored to announce my support for Dan Bongino in his Senate race in the “deep blue state” of Maryland. Dan is not a politician, but he has spent his career protecting them. He is a decorated United States Secret Service agent who served under three Presidents. Dan has seen what politicians have done to our country, and he’s decided, “If I’m not part of the solution, I’m part of the problem.” He based his candidacy for U.S. Senate in Maryland on a strong commonsense conservative platform, won his primary, and is now fighting an uphill battle against a 45-year career politician who in fact inherited his first political office from his uncle at the tender age of 23 way back in 1967 and has been in elected office ever since.

This is more than just a race of Republican vs. Democrat or conservative vs. liberal. It’s about taking our country back from the career politicians in both parties who have spent us into debt, nearly taxed us to death, enriched themselves, rewarded their cronies at our expense, and have no vision to help the private sector create the jobs we need to get this economy moving again. They are the reason why Congress’ approval rating is at an all-time low. In supporting Dan Bongino, we are offering Maryland voters a clear choice either to continue with the failed policies and crony capitalism of the permanent political class, or to shake things up with Dan Bongino and cast a vote that helps put our country back on the path to prosperity.

Palin: “Vote for Sandy Adams” Robocall

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on August 10, 2012

Governor Sarah Palin is lending a helping hand to Sandy Adams of Florida’s 7th Congressional District by encouraging voters to pull the lever for Sandy this coming Tuesday, August 14th.  Following is a recording of the robocall Palin made for Adams’ campaign:

Text of the call:

“Hi, this is Governor Sarah Palin. In the race for Congressional District Seven, there is one candidate who strongly believes in limited government and is willing to stand up for constitutional principles. And that’s Sandy Adams. Sandy Adams has served our country in the United States Air Force and spent seventeen years protecting Central Florida families as a deputy sheriff. Sandy was a straight-talking conservative voice in Tallahassee and served in Congress as a member of the historic group elected in 2010 to change Washington. Sandy should stay there doing just that. Sandy Adams has never requested an earmark and led the charge for the largest cuts in government spending since World War II. Even my “favorite” newspaper, The New York Times, called her “the toughest new member” of Congress. Florida has a choice on August 14th: another big-spending career politician or the conservative reformer, Sandy Adams. I ask you to vote for Sandy Adams for Congress on August 14th.” Paid for by Sandy Adams for Congress.

Gov. Palin: Join Me in Supporting Sandy Adams

Posted by Adrienne Ross on August 8, 2012

Via Facebook:

In 2012, we have a unique opportunity to elect more commonsense conservatives to Congress, but that alone is not enough. We must support conservatives who are with us on the issues but not weighed down with the burden of crony capitalism that is so prevalent in Washington, D.C. Congresswoman Sandy Adams is just one of those candidates. She is running in Florida’s 7th Congressional District; and unlike her opponent, Sandy is free from the shackles of lobbyists and back door dealings in Washington. As someone who served in the military and as a career law enforcement officer, Sandy doesn’t have time or the patience for the business as usual ways of Washington. Washington insiders on both sides of the aisle have spent this country into massive debt and put our children’s future at risk. Let’s restore power to the people by electing a wise Congress that our next President can work with. Please join me and others like Congressman Allen West, Condi Rice, and Tea Party Express in supporting Sandy Adams today.

Palin: Congratulations to Todd Akin

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on August 8, 2012

Governor Sarah Palin recently endorsed Sarah Steelman for U.S. Senate in Missouri’s primary which was held yesterday. Even though Steelman was not successful in her bid, Palin posted the following congratulatory message to Todd Akin on her Facebook page moments ago:

________________________________________________________________

Congratulations Governor Sarah Palin to Todd Akin on his win. And thank you, Sarah Steelman, for running an inspiring grassroots campaign. Sarah can take pride in being the underdog and mounting an uphill race; she faced the challenge of Beltway insiders and being outspent and underfunded, but she did not waver and her internal compass always pointed clearly in the direction of Constitutional principles. It’s an honor to stand by Sarah and her vision for Missouri and the rest of this exceptional nation. I’ll continue to support those with such a compass, regardless of the Beltway political pundits’ predictions in any race.

Now, it’s time for everyone to come together and focus on electing a new Senator from the Show Me State. Winning this Missouri Senate race is a crucial step in reclaiming the leadership of the U.S. Senate and giving our next President a wise Congress to work with. Together we can do this. On to November!

Steelman Campaign Praises Governor Palin’s Endorsement Influence

Posted by Adrienne Ross on August 4, 2012

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Via a press release about the Steelman Surge Barbecue and Picnic held yesterday near Kansas City, MO, Sarah Steelman’s campaign shared the impact that Governor Palin’s endorsement has had (emphasis added):

Rolla, MO — Governor Sarah Palin addressed one thousand people at the Steelman Surge BBQ at The Berry Patch in Cleveland, Missouri (pop. 592) yesterday, despite the heat and short notice. Gov. Palin emphasized that Steelman was the only candidate who had the backbone to do what’s right and stand up to the establishment and special interests that lurk in Washington, DC, stating, “She’s the candidate in this race who scares them because she won’t go to Washington to just go along, to get along. You have that choice to choose, results over rhetoric. Convictions over consultants and Missouri over Washington.”

Governor Palin pointed to Steelman’s conservative record and her ability to follow through with commitments, some of which can be found here: http://www.sarahsteelman.com/pages/sarahs-contract-with-missouri . Among the legislative items Steelman commits to sponsoring or cosponsoring are a balanced budget amendment, a cap on federal spending, repealing Obamacare and protecting life and liberty.

“A lot of candidates talk in vague terms about their plans and refuse to give specific details about how they’d vote or what they’d do. But that isn’t good enough anymore. From the beginning of this campaign I have offered details about what Washington programs I’d cut and what legislation I’d sponsor or support. This contract offers voters a clear vision; it is a check list and is something they can use to measure my performance,” declared Steelman.

The BBQ was advertised as a way for the Steelman campaign to thank supporters and lasted past its allotted time due to the overwhelming response. Steelman and Palin stood side by side serving BBQ to close to 1000 supporters. Since Governor Palin’s endorsement, the campaign has seen an overwhelming increase in fundraising, website visits, calls to the office and, most importantly, the recent surge in the polls. This, coupled with Brunner’s collapse, proves that an endorsement from Governor Palin has a powerful impact.

Polling shows about 20% of voters still undecided, however the recent surge in the polls has shown that Palin’s voice and presence has the ability to rise above other political advertising and reach the undecided voters in an already saturated race.

“I’m grateful for Gov. Palin’s endorsement,” said Steelman, “She knows what it takes to fight for what’s right in politics, and that is why she can relate to me. She knows that I have a history of standing up to the powerful and not backing down. She knows that I’ll continue to be a fighter for what this country needs: a balanced budget, less spending and a greater respect for life and freedom.”

Palin: “We Will Not Settle For Business As Usual”

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on July 31, 2012

Sarah_palin25Sarah Palin posted the following note of congratulations on her Facebook page to Ted Cruz who was victorious in his run-off in Texas today.  Mr. Cruz (the future Senator Cruz) now goes on the ballot for the general election in November as the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

Congratulations to Ted Cruz! This is a victory both for Ted and for the grassroots Tea Party movement. This primary race has always been about the kind of leadership we need in D.C. Our goal is not just about changing the majority in the Senate. It is about the kind of leadership we want. Ted Cruz represents the kind of strong conservative leadership we want in D.C. Go-along to get-along career politicians who hew the path of least resistance are no longer acceptable at a time when our country is drowning in debt and our children’s futures are at stake. The message of this race couldn’t be clearer for the political establishment: the Tea Party is alive and well and we will not settle for business as usual. Now, it’s on to November!

Palin: Robocall & Facebook Support for Zoller

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on July 30, 2012

Governor Sarah Palin recently endorsed Martha Zoller of Georgia’s 9th District for U.S. Congress and today, YouTube Channel “Martha For Congress” uploaded a recording of the robocall going out to voters in that district.

Text of the call:

“If you agree that it’s time our elected officials stopped talking at us and started listening to us, then I hope you will join me in supporting Martha Zoller for Congress from Georgia’s 9th Congressional District,” said Gov. Palin via e-mail. “Martha has been fighting for conservative causes for years as an award winning radio show host where she has been a voice for the Tea Party movement.

“Martha is running against the establishment, which, as we know, is an uphill battle; but with all of our support she can win. In Congress, she’ll vote to cut spending, lower taxes, and repeal Obamacare. In addition to being pro-life and a firm defender of our Constitution, including our Second Amendment rights, Martha is a strong fiscal conservative. Her “MAP for Prosperity” plan calls for increased accountability, bold reform, and citizen engagement – three things we need more of in Washington.

“I hope you’ll join me and other conservatives like Sean Hannity and Mark Levin in supporting Martha Zoller for Congress!”

Palin also posted the text of the robocall on her Facebook account to drum up support for Zoller via her 3.4 million+ followers.

Palin Endorses Martha Zoller for Congress

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on July 24, 2012

Martha Zoller announced earlier today that Governor Sarah Palin has endorsed her run for Congress out of Georgia’s 9th district.  The following was posted to the Martha For Congress website:

(Gainesville, GA) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed conservative firebrand Martha Zoller for Congress today in Georgia’s 9th Congressional District.

A strong supporter of the Governor’s efforts to restore conservative values and principles in America, Martha Zoller personally requested Gov. Sarah Palin’s endorsement earlier this year.

“I am thrilled to have the strong support of Gov. Palin in my efforts to represent Georgia’s 9th Congressional District in Congress and restore fiscal sanity in Washington,” said Zoller.  “Together, we will fight to put this country back on the right track and ensure prosperity and opportunity for many generations to come.”  More

Martha Zoller has also been endorsed by the newly formed SHE PAC, the Susan B. Anthony List as well as other notable conservative groups and individuals.
