Gov. Palin: Honored to meet so many in Denver, including ‘Truth Transcends Color’ and Dennis Prager

Posted by Dr. Fay on July 20, 2014

Sarah Palin
—————————

Thank you, Colorado Christian University and Western Conservative Summit! You’re doing great work raising the next generation to effectively defend our republic. I loved being with you yesterday in Denver; it was an absolute honor to meet so many good people there including empowered patriots from American Conservatives of Color (www.ACofC.com).

“Truth Transcends Color” is their motto. Preach it! American Conservatives of Color, your core values statement is the answer to how that invisible wall of separation crashes down, making way for the united effort needed to rebuild this great nation! You are inspiring, bold, and RIGHT as you declare, “The days of saying ‘Someone needs to do something’ are over.” Together we are that someone!

Another highlight was shaking hands with the talented and wise Dennis Prager. I’d just watched his great work that day on the Elijah List where his impressive teaching video is posted. It’s short; it’s awesome; it’s appreciated! Watch what’s described as “everything you need to know about the Middle East conflict in one short video”: http://youtu.be/8EDW88CBo-8 Love this!

Colorado Christian University prepared for Sarah Palin visit

Unlike the Pacheco Foundation, which allowed leftist cranks to bully it into cancelling a charity fundraising event with Sarah Palin as keynote speaker, Colorado Christian University is ready and able to deal with deranged, Palin-hating liberals, according to a report in The Denver Post:

John Andrews, who leads the Centennial Institute think tank at the Lakewood college, said the school has a signed contract for the event and is prepared to deal with any publicity — positive or negative — that the conservative star might bring with her.

“Her staff has told us to expect an interesting ride, in terms of static,” Andrews said. “We know what’s down that road, and we are eager to go there.”

On Feb. 4, the Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation announced that Palin would be the featured speaker at a May 2 benefit in Glendale for military families but canceled the event less than 48 hours later, blaming threats and negative feedback.

[…]

Andrews said the Tea Party icon will not receive a speaking fee for her appearance at CCU. Palin’s fee sometimes exceeds $100,000, the Washington Speaker’s Bureau said last month.

Andrews said he doesn’t think security concerns derailed the Pacheco Foundation event and that Colorado came off “not looking great” because of a “perception that someone important could be chased away.

“Certainly, there is a warm welcome for her on our campus,” Andrews said.

[…]

All ticket proceeds from Palin’s Lakewood appearance will support the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, a national nonprofit group benefiting the families of fallen soldiers, Andrews said.

Andrews said the fact that Palin’s eldest son is a veteran made her a great choice for the event. Track Palin served in Iraq in 2008-2009.

Governor Palin to Keynote May 2nd Tribute to the Troops

Posted by Adrienne Ross on March 7, 2011

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

On May 2nd, Governor Palin will reportedly participate in a fundraiser for U.S. troops. You’ll recall that she was originally scheduled to keynote the Patriots & Warriors Gala at the Infinity Park Events Center in Glendale, CO on that same date. Unfortunately, the sponsor, the Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation, gave in to pressure from political bullies and canceled “due to an onslaught of personal attacks against Gov. Palin and others associated with her appearance.”

Onward and upward…Governor Palin will still support and assist our military on May 2nd. According to Colorado Christian University:

Former Alaska governor and vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin will be the keynote speaker for Tribute to the Troops, a military and veterans appreciation rally at Colorado Christian University on May 2, 2011.

The rally will be held at CCU’s Lakewood Event Center. Also featured is Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, as well as cameos with members of all branches of the US Armed Forces.
All are welcome. Tickets are $25, and seating is limited to 1,000 people. All proceeds will be donated to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), a charity benefiting families of the fallen.

You can register for this event here.
