Palin: Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Boxes

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on October 31, 2013

Sarah Palin urges her supporters to watch a video on “Operation Christmas Child” and to support Samaritan’s Purse in their endeavor to  bring a little box of joy to children around the world.  Part of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan’s Purse has ministry projects throughout the world.  November 18th-25th is “National Collection Week” for the boxes.

From Facebook:

Please see the link below to watch the great promo Uncle Si Robertson from Duck Dynasty did for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child. Rev. Franklin Graham and his team do such wonderful work all around the globe. It was such an honor to join him on a Christmas mission in Haiti a few years ago (which this photo is from). And it will be thrilling to pay tribute to Rev. Billy Graham next week as he celebrates his 95th birthday! The entire Graham family has had such a positive influence on our nation and the world. God bless them!

Stars Earn Stripes: Forget Chuck Norris, Send in Todd Palin (Updated)

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on July 25, 2012

UPDATE: Sarah Palin posted the following message about “Stars Earn Stripes” to her Facebook page:

“Stars Earns Stripes” is honoring our veterans and first responders who are fighting to protect the good guys every day! Todd was privileged to work with an amazing team of production experts, competitors, and patriots in this absolutely kick-butt show that airs after the Olympics. It will blow you away as you witness what our troops and first responders go through.

I don’t know if I’ve ever met such a genuine, dedicated, and hardcore self-disciplined group of “stars” and operatives. This show can change your life if you understand the discipline and dedication our troops and first responders go through in order to bring honor to this great nation and then apply that same courage and discipline to your own life.

“Stars Earn Stripes”…wimps need not apply! :)

Todd Palin will be part of “Stars Earn Stripes”. a reality television show where stars will compete to earn cash prizes on behalf of a military, veterans or first-responder charity.  “Stars Earn Stripes” will premiere on Monday, August 13th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

From the NBC website:

Hosted by General Wesley Clark (retired) and Samantha Harris, “Stars Earn Stripes” is an action-packed competition show that pays homage to the men and women who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and our first-responder services. The star-studded cast includes four-time undefeated world boxing champion Laila Ali, actor Dean Cain (“Out of Time,” Five Days of War”), actor and former National Football League player Terry Crews (“The Expendables 2,” “The Newsroom”), multi-platinum recording artist, actor, producer and television personality Nick Lachey (NBC’s “The Sing-Off”), Alaska businessman and four-time Iron Dog snowmobile race champion Todd Palin, “The Biggest Loser” trainer Dolvett Quince, Olympic gold medalist Picabo Street, and WWE Diva, Eve Torres.

The eight celebrities will gather at a remote training facility, where they will be challenged to execute complicated missions inspired by real military exercises. From helicopter drops into water to long-range weapons fire, the contestants will be tested physically, mentally and emotionally. Each will be paired with a special operative from a military branch or one of our first-responder forces, including former U.S. Army Delta Force and Green Berets, U.S. Navy SEALS, U.S. Marines and police officers, who train alongside their partners and compete in the missions with them.  More

Here’s a preview of the show:
