Video: My Cape County Republican Women’s Club Speech: Conservatism and the Black Community

Posted by Adrienne Ross on July 13, 2013

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Yesterday, I had the privilege of delivering a speech to the Cape County Republican Women’s Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The topic was “Conservatism and the Black Community.” I had an amazing time and am so grateful for the opportunity to share a message that is so very needed.

Although Governor Palin was not the subject of the speech, I did mention her a couple times as I shared how my interest in politics began and discussed why the left despises her so much.

Below is the YouTube description, the video, and pictures taken after the speech.

Should Republicans target the black community? Adrienne Ross delivers a rousing speech to the Cape County Republican Women’s Club on the topic of “Conservatism and the Black Community.” She discusses the chasm that exists between the Republican party and black Americans, but declares it can be overcome–and now is the time to walk through that open door. Who’s willing and why bother?

Interviewed by AACONS: Governor Palin and the Black Community

Posted by Adrienne Ross on May 11, 2011

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Last night, Marie Conway Stroughter of African-American Conservatives (AACONS) interviewed me after they interviewed South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint. Our discussion centered around how policies of the Democrat Party impact the Black community, how the Left views and treats Black conservatives, and the vile and misinformed attacks against Governor Palin, including how she handles such attacks.

To hear the full interview, which includes Senator DeMint, click here. Below is my portion of interview.

My Interview with The Michael Berry Show

Posted by Adrienne Ross on April 28, 2011

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Last Thursday, I was contacted by The Michael Berry Show. They invited me to call in as a guest. I soon learned that this Texas conservative radio program has the largest listening audience in the state. They decided to touch base with me when one of their devoted listeners and researchers, Tania Percy, emailed them about my interview with “Sistah Talk TV” in which I engaged in a lively debate about Governor Palin with other women who are not supporters. After watching it and visiting MotivationTruth, they wanted to hear more from me personally, so I did the interview.

Topics included Governor Palin, race relations, the mindset some have regarding Black conservatives, and how I might defend conservatism in a room full of my peers who have not yet embraced this worldview. Enjoy:
