Her boldness has emboldened us. Her courage has made us more courageous. Her outspoken nature has not only been our voice but our encouragement to speak.

Palin Invited to Attend Billy Graham’s 95th Birthday Celebration

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on November 1, 2013

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin visits with the Rev. Billy Graham and his son Franklin at the Graham family home in Montreat in November 2009 / Special to the Citizen-Times

As cited in Palin’s October 30th Facebook post:

And it will be thrilling to pay tribute to Rev. Billy Graham next week as he celebrates his 95th birthday! The entire Graham family has had such a positive influence on our nation and the world. God bless them!

From Asheville’s Citizens-Times:

ASHEVILLE — Former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will attend next week’s birthday celebration for the Rev. Billy Graham, a Graham organization spokesman confirmed today.

Real estate mogul Donald Trump has apparently also said on social media that he will be attending, Graham spokesman Jeremy Blume said.

A number of prominent people have been invited to a Nov. 7 party to mark Graham’s 95th birthday.

Blume said there are a number of ties between Palin and the Graham family.

Alaska has been “an outpost” for relief aid headed to Russia provided by Samaritan’s Purse, the international charity run by Billy Graham’s oldest son, Franklin.

Franklin Graham has a hunting cabin in Alaska and visited Palin during trips there when she was governor, Blume said.

Palin’s Facebook page today has a photo from a Christmas mission trip to Haiti a few years ago the page says both Palin and Franklin Graham went on.  More

Bristol Palin: Happy Birthday, Willow!

Posted by Dr. Fay on July 5, 2012

Bristol Palin wished her sister a happy birthday today in this blog post  and included some fun pics:

Happy Birthday, Willow!

July 5, 2012 By Bristol Palin 52 Comments

Guess who turns eighteen today?

You can probably tell how proud I am of Willow.  Her name came from a small community that began in 1897 when miners discovered gold on Willow Creek.  Also, she was named after Willow Bay, one of my mother’s favorite sports reporters.

As I’ve mentioned before, we’re four years apart.  This meant that as we were growing up in the same house, we were each other’s best friends and worst enemies… depending on the day!

Now that we are both mature adults (don’t laugh!) we will probably get along much better. But one thing that will remain the same: I’m always so proud of her!

Not only does is she a great help with Tripp, she graduated high school more than a year early, and now is continuing her education at beauty school.

One of the reasons why I enjoyed shooting Life’s a Tripp is because she was there with me every step of the way.  (Tune in to see her move to Arizona, attend school, and experience some hilarious beauty treatments with me!)

I love you, Willow!  Happy birthday!!

Happy 18th Birthday, Willow Palin!

Today is Willow Palin’s 18th birthday. According to her Mom’s last Facebook post, she and Bristol have flown with their Dad to the family fishing site to fish for salmon, for which the peak season is approaching.   After finishing high school a year early, Willow has been accepted into a school for hairstylists, for which she will be earning tuition money while slaying salmon.

Willow is one of the stars in Bristol’s reality series, ‘Life’s a Tripp,”  which is airing on the Lifetime channel on Tuesday nights.  She went with Bristol to Los Angeles to help with Tripp at the start of the series and has been a regular part of the show during each episode so far.  Willow was also a star in the Sarah Palin’s Alaska series, which was filmed in 2010.

On behalf of all the authors at SPIB, I want to wish Willow a very happy 18th birthday and many more to come.   May the Lord light your path and help you achieve all your goals and make all your dreams come true.

Wishing Todd Palin a Happy Birthday and Why

Posted by Adrienne Ross on September 6, 2011

By Adrienne Ross –

I’m taking a moment today to wish Todd Palin a happy birthday. Not only does he deserve to be honored for so obviously being a wonderful husband and father, but he deserves recognition for being a fine example of what every man should aspire to be. My last conversation with him left such an impression on me. I remember listening and thinking, “Every young man needs an opportunity to sit and talk to Todd.” As an educator in a public school, I see the needs of our youth, so as he spoke of the integrity and work ethic that are so needed in our young people, I wished they all could listen and learn from this man.

Todd Palin is what we would call a man’s man. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty building houses, working on the North Slope, or racing his snow machine, certainly. At the same time, he’s never been too macho to style Piper’s hair and change Trig’s diapers. Furthermore, he’s secure enough to allow his wife to shine, but make no mistake: Governor Palin very much respects and honors him. He is, indeed, the complete package.

Happy Birthday, Todd.
