Video: My Cape County Republican Women’s Club Speech: Conservatism and the Black Community

Posted by Adrienne Ross on July 13, 2013

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Yesterday, I had the privilege of delivering a speech to the Cape County Republican Women’s Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The topic was “Conservatism and the Black Community.” I had an amazing time and am so grateful for the opportunity to share a message that is so very needed.

Although Governor Palin was not the subject of the speech, I did mention her a couple times as I shared how my interest in politics began and discussed why the left despises her so much.

Below is the YouTube description, the video, and pictures taken after the speech.

Should Republicans target the black community? Adrienne Ross delivers a rousing speech to the Cape County Republican Women’s Club on the topic of “Conservatism and the Black Community.” She discusses the chasm that exists between the Republican party and black Americans, but declares it can be overcome–and now is the time to walk through that open door. Who’s willing and why bother?

Talking to SarahNET Radio Host, Kevin Scholla

Posted by Adrienne Ross on February 26, 2012

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Kevin Scholla, host of The Palin Update with Kevin Scholla on SarahNET Radio, routinely interviews a variety of people. In that list are Rep. Michele Bachmann; former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich; Rep. Ron Paul; former Senator, Rick Santorum; Jackie Siciliano of Team Sarah; The Undefeated mastermind, Stephen Bannon; and author and Fox News Contributor, Jedediah Bila, to name a few.

I was honored to be a guest on today’s broadcast. We discussed my support of Governor Palin, her future, her true character, my time with her parents while in Alaska, the possibility of a brokered convention, and faith. Kevin also asked me about the Facebook “shout-out” Governor Palin recently gave one of my articles.

Be sure to tune in regularly to SarahNET Radio for all things Palin.

Waiting for Sarah Palin

Posted by Roderic Deane on September 25, 2011

Monologue from today’s The Roderic Deane Show:

Sarah Palin told us all to keep our powder dry. Who on earth says that?

Well, no commander would tell their troops to keep their powder dry if he (or she) wasn’t intending to use that ammunition for a specific purpose. Despite our best intentions, we do not know what the commander’s plan is, nor should we. If we did, we could subject it to ruin.

Do you remember hearing about one of the public maxims during WWII? “Loose lips sink ships!” This was a reminder to everyone that they, too, had a responsibility for maintaining our security during the war. Such is the reason we trust in our commanders.

One of the things that troops are expected to do as they await battle is to ready themselves. They make sure that their weapons and other equipment are in tip-top working order. They maintain their fitness, not knowing when they’ll be called upon to take themselves to the limit. They often keep journals to provide both themselves and their loved ones with a chronicle of their experiences. They develop strong bonds with fellow soldiers, for that fellowship will be needed in battle. They practice and drill to make sure that their skills do not fail them under fire.

Discussing Governor Palin; Patrick’s World USA Interview

Posted by Adrienne Ross on June 16, 2011

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Last night, I was interviewed about Governor Palin on Patrick’s World USA Blog Talk Radio Show. Patrick is a great host and made sure he covered several important topics in just 30 minutes of airtime. We discussed the frenzy over Governor Palin’s emails which are serving only to show what a dedicated governor she was; Frank Bailey’s anti-Palin book, a complete flop, The Undefeated, the soon-coming film about Governor Palin’s stellar career in public service; the mainstream media’s obsession with President Obama and commitment to his re-election; and the 2012 race for the presidency which is starting to take off.

I come in at the 11:23 mark. Enjoy:

#4 on Top 10 Tea Party Bloggers List

Posted by Adrienne Ross on May 5, 2011

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

I learned today that News Real Blog has included me at number 4 on their list of top 10 tea party bloggers.

The Tea Party stands as a moral challenge to the status quo. It’s not a third-party movement. It’s an extra-party movement. It’s not political. It’s philosophical. It is a manifestation of the market, an example of how free minds and free will seep through the cracks of the established paradigm to fulfill unmet needs.

[…]

Among the grassroots movement, many voices have emerged to articulate a philosophy of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets. We’ve scoured the net to bring you some of the best bloggers championing that message. We sought to bring to light writers whose work deserves more attention than they currently receive. We wanted to introduce you to voices you may not have heard of before and will be glad to know. These aren’t folks who necessarily identify as Tea Partiers, but who boldly articulate the philosophy which drives the movement. Here are the top 10 Tea Party bloggers you need to read.

Here’s what author Walter Hudson had to say about me and my work:

When Sarah Palin burst onto the national scene as John McCain’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, she excited a wide swath of conservatives, and frustrated countless leftists. Palin’s story ran counter to the radical feminist narrative regarding women, family, and misogyny. In the oppressive female-denigrating America of leftist fantasy, Sarah Palin should not exist. The Left certainly wasn’t going to let her tarnish their narrative further by ascending from relative obscurity to the vice presidency.

As a black woman, Palin-supporter and blogger Adrienne Ross adds another dimension to that counter-narrative. Ross runs a blog called Motivation Truth, produces video commentary on YouTube, and engages her community in public debate on the issues relevant to their lives. Apparently, those issues have nothing to do with race or gender.

Joe the Plumber brought the whole spread the wealth issue to America’s attention in 2008, and nothing has changed. President Obama is still committed to spreading the wealth around and even more committed to class warfare. The more he talks, the clearer it becomes that he definitely has no real interest in cutting spending. Rather, he’s content to cut more out of people’s income, particularly those people he deems filthy rich. It’s obvious, too, that to him “filthy rich” isn’t just an expression. In fact, he’s already told the country that at a certain point people have made enough money(…)

… In a town hall speech last week, he spoke of those rich people who cannot be allowed to just relax and “count [their] money.” First of all, does he not realize that people have the right to do whatever they want with their money? If they want to get naked and roll around in it, is that not their decision to make? Is it really government’s business what a person does with the money that is rightfully his or hers to enjoy? Has President Obama and his tax and spend administration failed to understand that some of those he has coined rich are small business owners–job creators–who have been too busy to just count cash all day? Instead, they have been hard at work producing needed services and providing opportunities for others so they can then take care of their own families.

The very existence of a commentator like Ross is an embarrassment to the Left. A black woman elevating private property rights above some esoteric sense of “social justice” is anathema to them. If for no other reason than that, you should follow Adrienne Ross.

My Interview with The Michael Berry Show

Posted by Adrienne Ross on April 28, 2011

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Last Thursday, I was contacted by The Michael Berry Show. They invited me to call in as a guest. I soon learned that this Texas conservative radio program has the largest listening audience in the state. They decided to touch base with me when one of their devoted listeners and researchers, Tania Percy, emailed them about my interview with “Sistah Talk TV” in which I engaged in a lively debate about Governor Palin with other women who are not supporters. After watching it and visiting MotivationTruth, they wanted to hear more from me personally, so I did the interview.

Topics included Governor Palin, race relations, the mindset some have regarding Black conservatives, and how I might defend conservatism in a room full of my peers who have not yet embraced this worldview. Enjoy:

Glenn Beck’s Friday The 13th Nightmare For Liberals Across America: Beck Hosts Prominent Black Conservatives

Posted by Gary P Jackson on November 11, 2009

This is something I am promoting with great pleasure. It was two weeks ago when I opened an e-mail from Conservative blogger, man about town, and all around good guy Clifton B. Cliff was letting us know he would be appearing as a guest on the Glenn Beck show as part of a panel of prominent Black Conservatives. Of course, as a friend and fellow blogger, I was very excited. I knew This would be must see TV!

Now even better, we found out that another colleague and friend, Adrienne Ross, will also be part of this show as well. Man, this couldn’t get any better. Two great bloggers on one big show.

For those that haven’t had the pleasure, Clifton B, who writes as Another Black Conservative, is a must read. His blog covers all of the big topics of the day. Cliff is also a big supporter of Sarah Palin’s. In fact, that’s how we met. His blog is one you simply must bookmark.

Adrienne Ross and I share a lot of bandwidth on the blogs we contribute to. Her blog, Motivation: Truth takes a Christian Conservative look at the events that surround us. Adrienne is a teacher, by trade, and is also a strong supporter of Sarah Palin’s. She is very big in the Draft Sarah Palin 2012 movement. Adrienne’s blog has some great stories, including her trip to Alaska this summer. This is another blog that simply must be bookmarked, and read daily.

If you are a Glenn Beck fan, and well, who isn’t, you know he was rushed to the hospital last week for an emergency appendectomy. Glenn is doing fine and will be back hosting his show on Wednesday.

Glenn has had some very positive panels since he has moved his show over to the Fox News Network, and this will be no exception. So make sure you tune in on Friday, set your DVR, and get ready for the left wing loons’ worst nightmare!

Many thanks to the Left Coast Rebel for coming up with the cool poster to promote this event.

Adrienne Ross and Clifton Bazar to be on Glenn Beck

Posted by Ron Devito on November 4, 2009

Update: Due to emergency appendix surgery for Glenn Beck, this interview is now scheduled to air Friday, November 13, 2009

Clifton Bazar and Adrienne Ross, Board Member, Media Director, and New York State Organizer of the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee will participate in a town hall-style forum on the Glenn Beck show Friday, November 613, 2009. Please check local listings for air times.

Glenn Beck is hosting the show with Black Conservative guests; Adrienne and Clifton will participate in the discussion with other like-minded conservatives.

If you have met Adrienne or have heard or watched any of her interviews regarding Governor Palin, then you know this will be a must-see event.

Both Adrienne and Clifton are authors on Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s Accomplishments, and Sarah’s Web Brigade.

Clifton Bazar

Clifton Bazar is the editor and publisher of Another Black Conservative.

Mr. Bazar is a black conservative from a black conservative family. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and finally settled in New Jersey. Throughout his life he knew he did not share many of the common beliefs of other American blacks. For starters, he never took to the term “African-American.” He has meet too many real Africans who are now Americans, to ever with a straight face say we share something in common other than skin tones. Their history and culture is truly a unique and is a completely different experience from his own. His culture is distinctly American, from the way he speaks, thinks, dresses and acts and you know what else? He loves it! So for him, he will always be an American who just happens to be black. He puts himself and his beliefs out here in cyberspace, to show his fellow blacks that there is something more. That one need not accept the false promise of the next social program, the belief in government as savior or the next Democratic candidate will right all wrongs. That true Hope and Change comes from belief in yourself, in a nation that allows dynamic movement if you are bold enough, smart enough and brave enough to make it happen.

Adrienne Ross

Adrienne Ross is the editor and publisher of Motivation: Truth and a Board Member, Media Director, and NY State Organizer for the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee. Ms. Ross met Governor Palin in Auburn, NY in early June, 2009 as part of celebrating Alaska’s 50th Year of Statehood. She met Governor Palin a second time during a month-long trip to Alaska.

Ms. Ross is also an author on C4P, and SarahNet.

Ms. Ross is a born-again Christian who is madly in love with the Lord Jesus Christ. She is also a middle school English Language Arts teacher. She chooses to use the gifts God has given her to be a voice of truth in this crucial time in our nation. She is taking a stand for righteousness and for leaders, like Sarah Palin, who stand for righteousness because, as the Bible declares, “Righteousness exalts a nation.” It’s time for people of integrity to stand up, speak up, and make a difference. Her sole motivation? The TRUTH!
