Palin: Put our government back on the side of the people

Posted by loricalabrese on November 2, 2010

A day before Election Day, Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page to remind everyone about March 21st, the day the Pelosi Congress cast its vote for Obamacare.

Palin said, “The enduring image of that day is one of Congressional Democrats arrogantly dismissing the pleas of thousands of Americans gathered outside the Capitol Building begging them not to inflict this disastrous bill on us.”

Palin reminded her followers that this bill wasn’t about health care reform.

“It was about control and government mandates and fines for not purchasing a government-approved insurance plan,” Palin said. “The bill jeopardizes the very thing it was supposed to reform. Every day we hear about doctors leaving the Medicare system; increased premiums with talk of price controls; rationing becoming standard practice; and panels of faceless bureaucrats deciding which categories of treatment are worthy of funding based on efficiency calculations (which I called a “death panel”).”

Palin wants everyone to remember that day because as the title of her post states, “Tomorrow is Freedom Day!”

“They voted against our will that day,” Palin said. “Tomorrow it’s our turn to vote against them and put our government back on the side of the people. This is our chance to rebuke their big government power grab, reject their unwanted “fundamental transformation” of America, and start the process of repealing this bill before it buries us under a mountain of debt. So let’s fire Pelosi, retire Reid, and send all those who were responsible for that disgraceful bill a message that America is still about “We the People.”

The “R” Word: The Weapon is the VOTE!

Posted by nypalinpower on March 25, 2010

by NYPalinPower  –  http://www.nypalinpower.blogspot.com

With Sarah, either you get her or you don’t.

Look, I am certainly not one for violence.  I am a prayer warrior who believes in peace and even I knew what Sarah Palin meant when she used the “R” word in her twitter tweet.  Come on people, don’t you get it?  It is not about violence at all, Sarah Palin used the word in regard to elections.  RELOAD means to VOTE ONCE AGAIN, AND THIS TIME AIM BETTER!

When you understand the true meaning of the “R” word, it means POWER TO THE PEOPLE.  So is it not surprising that the main stream media and the status quo want you to think otherwise?  Don’t buy into their rhetoric.

Having said that, I will attempt to “sensitively” make things more clear.

First and foremost… SARAH PALIN is for the PEOPLE.  Sarah is the only politician standing up for the people against the powerful status quo of our leadership in Washington who are not serving us. She sees that the voice of Americans are being ignored and America’s constitution is being mistreated.  So naturally she is not very happy.

Our elected leaders have let us down over and over again, serving their own selfish interests at the expense of our country and our constitution. So what do we do?  How do we change our leadership from those who are not serving us to those who will?  The answer is simple, we need to vote out of office the politicians who are not listening to us and replace them with responsible and selfless public servants that will. We want leaders with common sense and integrity who hold the best interests of the people and the country at heart.  This latest healthcare vote has made our voices louder and clearer, and we are finally saying, the game is over!

So in a nutshell, this is what the “R” word means…

All Americans who feel betrayed by their current leaders in Washington need to VOTE them out, and use this vote as a weapon, not for violence (duh) but to change the quality of leadership in our government.

Adrienne Ross put it very well in her blog:

“The governor used Twitter and Facebook to encourage Americans to use their voting power to make a difference. As a hunter from the state of Alaska, she used a fitting metaphor to make a point. She used the same language her dad used when she resigned from the governor’s office. Mr. Heath said, “Sarah’s not retreating. She’s reloading.” All of a sudden, they’ve forgotten this metaphor. The Left obviously has selective memory to go along with their selective outrage.”

I’m With Sarah Palin! Don’t Get Demoralized! Get Organized! Take Back Our Liberty And Freedom

Posted by Gary P Jackson on March 23, 2010

One the 235th anniversary of Patrick Henry’s iconic “Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death” speech, Barack Obama signs into law an unconstitutional power grab, disguised as “health care reform” that steals every single American’s freedom and liberty and establishes a central command and control government that will have total control over every aspect of your life, totally usurping the United States Constitution that our founders shed blood to establish.

It is beyond outrageous: It’s obscene.

No time to sit and complain though, it’s time to get energized and organized. We must defeat each and ever democrat in every election, at every level. No quarter must be given.

Let’s face it, the concept of a “blue dog” democrat, a “pro-life” democrat, or even such a thing as a “moderate” democrat, is a myth, a fantasy, a lie!

With the passage of ObamaCare, the worst piece of legislation in American history, one so unpopular that 3 out of ever 4 Americans loudly oppose it, the mask is off. Democrats have proven what many of us have been saying for a long time: Radical Marists, communists, have taken complete control of the party.

In essence, there are no trustworthy democrats, none. With the events we have witnessed over the past year, since radical communist Barack Obama took office, we now know that this group of Marxist thugs have no respect for the Constitution, no respect for the rule of law, and absolutely no respect for the American people.

These people must be defeated at every level, and shunned by polite society. Again, no quarter should be given. We learned all too well with Bart Stupak that ALL democrats are unprincipled traitors who would sell their children for the right price. In fact, that’s exactly what Stupak did, except he sold other people’s children.

Speaking of Stupak, he is a traitor to the nation. He sold us all out for his 30 pieces of silver and he sold out the millions of babies who will be murdered in the name of the Almighty Obama!

Stupak has a challenger, Dr Dan Benishek. Dr Benishek is a businessman and a solid conservative. He is not a career politician. Just a regular guy who wants to serve. We urge everyone to support Dr Benishek. You can check him out on Facebook here and catch an interview he did with Mark Levin here.

Sarah Palin, the leader of the free world, has announced a plan to start taking our nation back, one seat at a time:

Don’t Get Demoralized! Get Organized! Take Back the 20!

With the president signing this unwanted and “transformative” government takeover of our health care system today with promises impossible to keep, let’s not get discouraged. Don’t get demoralized. Get organized!

We’re going to reclaim the power of the people from those who disregarded the will of the people. We’re going to fire them and send them back to the private sector, which has been shrinking thanks to their destructive government-growing policies. Maybe when they join the millions of unemployed, they’ll understand why Americans wanted them to focus on job creation and an invigorated private sector. Come November, we’re going to print pink slips for members of Congress as fast as they’ve been printing money.

We’re paying particular attention to those House members who voted in favor of Obamacare and represent districts that Senator John McCain and I carried during the 2008 election. Three of these House members are retiring – from Arkansas’s 2nd district, Indiana’s 8th district, and Tennessee’s 6th district – but we’ll be working to make sure that those who replace them are Commonsense Conservatives. The others are running for re-election, and we’re going to hold them accountable for this disastrous Obamacare vote. They are: Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-1), Harry E. Mitchell (AZ-5), Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-8), John Salazar (CO-3), Betsy Markey (CO-4). Allen Boyd (FL-2), Suzanne M. Kosmas (FL-24), Baron P. Hill (IN-9), Earl Pomeroy (ND-AL), Charlie Wilson (OH-6), John Boccieri (OH-16), Kathy Dahlkemper (PA-3), Christopher Carney (PA-10), John M. Spratt, Jr. (SC-5), Tom Perriello (VA-5), Alan B. Mollohan (WV-1), and Nick J. Rahall II (WV-3).

We’ll aim for these races and many others. This is just the first salvo in a fight to elect people across the nation who will bring common sense to Washington. Please go to sarahpac.com and join me in the fight.

Stand tall, America. Real change is coming!

– Sarah Palin

There is a reason why we and millions more refer to Sarah as the leader of the free world. Sarah Palin consistently speaks to the liberty and freedom our founding fathers fought and died for. Like the great Ronald Reagan before her, Sarah brings optimism and a can do spirit that is sorely lacking in others.

Sarah Palin sees America as “that shining city on a hill” that Reagan often spoke of.

Sarah also brings her competitive, never say die, spirit to the fight. No road is too long, no mountain is too high. Sarah inspires us all with her grit and determination. Watching her, a woman who grew up in a simple log cabin in the Alaskan wilderness, and rose to the highest levels of power and achievement, inspires us all to do our best each and every day, to work hard toward our goals, and to enjoy life to the fullest while we do it. She reminds us we all have the power to succeed.

America is the greatest nation ever to exist. Only in America does the opportunity exist to start with nothing and become everything. No other nation, now, or in history has empowered it’s citizenry in the way our nation has empowered them.

That all started changing today though. The moment Obama signed the legislation, liberty and freedom was dealt a massive blow, some say a mortal wound. Some say liberty and freedom are now dead and buried.

I however, refuse to say that. Liberty and freedom have been severely wounded, but there is plenty of time to heal them. The treatment for this, the prescription, if you will, is a thorough cleansing, starting with Congress.

We must rid Congress from all of those who would desecrate our Constitution and all of those who would see to grow government further. This includes progressives in BOTH parties. Anyone who disrespects the American people and seeks to go against their will.

Then we must remove these dangers to our liberty and freedom at the state and local level.

In other words, just as we must defeat each and ever democrat, at every level! We must also defeat the progressive Republicans. They are just as bad, because they enable the democrats in their insanity.

The time for timidity is over folks, we must be bold, we must be courageous. We can no longer sit back and allow these intolerable acts to be forced upon us. Our nation’s survival demands it!

“The war is inevitable — and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.

Flying into 2010

Posted by Karen Allen on December 21, 2009

I hate a fly. Yes, hate is a strong word…my dad said so. But truly, I do. I hate a fly.

That fact was reiterated to me as I was reading Dickens this week. I know now that my dislike for a fly is not just due to the fact that they aggravate me. It’s deeper. They are stupid.

Charles Dickens in A Tale of Two Cities sets up a scene in the wine-shop as so…

There were a few customers, drinking or not drinking, standing or seated, sprinkled about. The day was very hot, and heaps of flies, who were extending their inquisitive and adventurous perquisitions into all the glutinous little glasses near madame, fell dead at the bottom. Their decease made no impression on the other flies out promenading, who looked at them in the coolest manner (as if they themselves were elephants, or something as far removed), until they met the same fate. Curious to consider how heedless flies are!

Yeppers. I surmise the heedless flies that are currently in office do not see their impending fate in 2010. They only remember that President Obama can swat t hem and brag about it as he did during his famous fly killah interview. Keep him happy by circling the Hill and landing on all carrion placed before them, and everything will be fine. Veer off course by rejecting the offerings and be called into the Flight Controller’s office for a flight plan adjustment.

I perceive they are told to ignore the other flies that just met their doom this past November.

Are our elected officials so very sure they can continue to promenade in defiance of the majority of Americans with no recourse in view? Do they truly see a bright future ahead for them? As they are lured into the spider’s web of presidential deceit, is there a chance, a very minute chance, they feel any fear?

Gov. Sarah Palin, in a recent SarahPAC missive, stated:

“After all our travels, it’s even more obvious to me that the winds of change are blowing strong. At every stop people talked about the need to take our country back. So let’s do it! 2010 is just around the corner and with it will come one of the most critical elections of our lifetime. With important House and Senate races across our nation and dozens of gubernatorial races we have the chance to make a positive difference throughout our country.

Drink up, flies, to your hearts’ content, but just as the maggots you derived from, you will once again be bottom dwellers…this time in the dregs of the wine glass you once embraced, in a drunken stupor, as life giving.

Impression-less. Heedless. Stupid. I hate a fly.

On Determining Palin’s Political Future

Posted by Shane Vander Hart on November 22, 2009

By Shane Vander Hart, Caffeinated Thoughts

Reeling Conservatives Everybody has an opinion, and 2012 is still three years away.  Oh but how we love to speculate.  The lamestream media reaches opposite conclusions when they try to strain a gnat over what Governor Palin has said or hasn’t said about 2012.  Speculation can be fun, and I do think the 2012 race will be incredibly interesting.

As far as Sarah Palin is concerned, after watching or listening to several of her many interviews last week, and what I’ve read so far in Going Rogue: An American Life (review coming soon) I see someone who has not decided.  She isn’t focused on 2012, but she isn’t closing the door.

We’ve got the 2010 elections to focus on first, and all indications are (read: that is what she has said) that is what is on her radar when her book tour ends.  Some desire to close the door on her running in 2012 by being petty, and that can be seen in a piece that Peter Wallsten wrote for the Wall Street Journal:

Ms. Palin’s book tour includes a Dec. 6 stop in Sioux City, Iowa. But she declined an invitation to appear at a Nov. 21 fund-raiser for the conservative Iowa Family Policy Center, which had reserved a Des Moines sports arena in anticipation of her attendance.

"All these other national figures are coming here to help us, and she’s coming here to sell books," said an Iowa Republican official.

Added Michael Dennehy, a Republican consultant who worked for 2008 nominee John McCain: "People are anxious to see what she’s going to do, but at this point there’s no evidence of Sarah Palin organizing in New Hampshire or having any interest in organizing."

Let me respond to this bit of “analysis.”  First it is 2009.  Secondly the IFPC event “controversy” was a contrived one.  Thirdly, the anonymous Iowa Republican official (who had better hope and pray I don’t find out his or her identity) just sounds like a complete whiner (probably a Mittwit).  She’s already said she plans to come to Iowa to speak to IFPC, and told the Republican Party of Iowa that she would love to come here.  This “official” is basically complaining that it isn’t being done on his or her timeframe.  So sorry that she had contractual obligations, and sorry that you have something against capitalism.  Are you in the right party?  I mean really, complaining that she is selling books?  Fourth, she just left office in late July, just completed her book, and then will finish with this book tour.  Then she has said she’ll focus on 2010.

2012?  Who knows, but to determine whether she is running or not in 2012 based on not being organized in 2009 is incredibly premature.
