Gov. Palin: The thing our vets cherish most is Victory!

Governor Palin’s address closed out the first day of CPAC 2015.  Having been asked to speak about our veterans, she gave an EXCELLENT, very serious speech in support of our veterans.  She criticized the current treatment of our returning military and offered some practical solutions, including health insurance and health care vouchers, certification for employment based on their skills used in the military, and protection of their retirement benefits.

She attributed the rise of ISIS directly to Obama’s refusal to leave a residual force of the U. S. military in Iraq.  Obama’s refusal to acknowledge ISIS as Islamic and his endangerment of our military by his changes in the rules of engagement came under fire also.  She praised Egypt’s victory over jihadism under its new government that toppled the Muslim Brotherhood regime favored by Obama.

Governor Palin ended her speech with a heartfelt recognition of and thanks to the veterans who were present. “We love you!  Thank you!”

A quick, humorous question and answer session followed, in which she associated “iron” with Margaret Thatcher and said “Sorry” for Obama and “I’m sorry” for Hillary Clinton.

Here are graphics with quotes from her speech that she tweeted this evening:
