Las Vegas – Former vice presidential nominee and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin made an appearance Thursday afternoon at the SHOT Show to launch the second season of “Amazing America,” a reality show she stars in on Sportsman Channel.

“I am here and it feels like home,” Palin said to a crowd. “I appreciate that you all appreciate the outdoors…thank you all for being great Americans.”

Before making an appearance on the SHOT Show floor at the Sans Expo Center, Palin participated in an offsite Hunt, Fish, Feed event with the Salvation Army.

Rock star and avid outdoorsman Ted Nugent, who makes appearances in the upcoming “Amazing America” season also made an appearance with Palin.

“Sarah is my blood brother,” Nugent said. “There isn’t a better ‘we the people warrior.'”

Good new developments in the case of American pastor Saeed Abedini who’s been imprisoned in Iran for not renouncing his Christian faith! Check out Bristol’s blog post here for the latest:

Also, please see this video from Samaritan’s Purse that Greta Van Susteren passed along. She’s in Cambodia right now with Rev. Franklin Graham; near and dear to their hearts is attacking the horrific issue of human trafficking. What would the world do without faith-based private sector charities addressing tragedies like this? Here’s more:

Gov. Palin: Your actions speak louder than your words, Mr. President

Posted by Dr. Fay on January 21, 2015

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page last night:

Despite all the happy talk and rainbow kisses in his second to last State of the Union address, President Obama has utterly failed middle class Americans who are making less and spending more to survive in his economy. And he has no real plan to help them.

I’m no special pleader for the super rich. They can take care of themselves, and Barack Obama has been the friend of every crony capitalist on Wall Street attending his $30,000-a-plate fundraisers. So, it’s really galling to hear this President pretend to care about the little guy.

Let’s be honest. Tinkering in the margins of the tax code isn’t going to bring lasting prosperity to America’s middle class. Our tax code needs major reform. Mr. President, if you truly seek equality in the tax code, then let’s talk about a flat tax. Let’s get rid of all the loop holes carved out by the wealthy and politically connected. Bring us together to pass sensible flat tax legislation. Every American will thank you on tax day! The only people who will hate this are those who are benefitting from the current convoluted tax code with its thousands of special interest exemptions and carve-outs. Enough of this faux-populism about taxing the rich while protecting the broken tax code that benefits them. Mr. President, if you truly care about equality and fairness, give us a sensible flat tax.

The tax code isn’t the only thing standing in the way of prosperity in America. The middle class needs good paying jobs that can sustain a family. No American should be stuck in a entry level minimum wage job for their entire life. We want Americans to climb the economic ladder, not get stuck on the first rung. To create those good paying jobs, we need to address the problems standing in the way of job creation. We need to replace job-killing legislation like Obamacare, which has failed on every level by making health care more expensive for average Americans while providing them with less choices and worse care. We need to consider the consequences of policies like the 1,200 new regulations the Obama administration rammed through last month in the 15 days right before the new year – regulations that will cost the American taxpayer $181 billion in new fees and further stymie job growth. Ask yourself, is it easier today under Barack Obama’s policies to open a business and hire people or is it harder? ‘Nuff said.

Nothing was said tonight about our staggering $18 trillion national debt, which increased by $7.5 trillion under Obama. Our debt is a ticking time bomb, but for the permanent political class in DC that ticking sound is just ambient noise to lull yourself to sleep. Some of us would like to address the debt before it blows up in our faces. That’s what responsible leaders do. They don’t glibly make promises for more free goodies they know we can’t afford to keep.

I have little hope that we’ll see honest leadership from the White House. Nothing in tonight’s speech indicates that the Obama administration will stop hurting the middle class with its failed policies. (And it was just a bit much to listen to the most polarizing partisan president of our lifetime – who rammed through his signature legislation without any input from the GOP – lecture us about working together now that the GOP controls Congress. Your actions speak so much louder than your words, Mr. President.)

We need to look for new leadership in Congress to put forward a positive agenda of prosperity for every American. Hang in there, America. Real hope for change is just around the corner in 2016.

– Sarah Palin

PS – There’s no need to comment on foreign policy tonight because President Obama essentially didn’t comment on it either. He’s so far over his head with what seems like personal confusion on who the bad guys are and who the good guys are. His foreign policy is so obviously a colossal and dangerous failure that I guess there’s no need to spell it out for everyone. Just watch the news. It’s unraveling daily.

God bless our troops, especially our snipers.

Hollywood leftists: while caressing shiny plastic trophies you exchange among one another while spitting on the graves of freedom fighters who allow you to do what you do, just realize the rest of America knows you’re not fit to shine Chris Kyle’s combat boots.

May the epic “American Sniper” bring nothing but blessings to Taya and the children of this true American hero.

Thank you Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood for respecting the United States Military.

PS – Rep. Paul Gosar’s office also speaks to the heroism of American snipers:

Gov. Palin to France: The American people stand with you

Posted by Dr. Fay on January 12, 2015

Our thoughts exactly.

—————

After the atrocious attacks of September 11th, the world unified behind our great nation, stiffened its collective spine, and took a stand against Islamic terrorism. Following last week’s brutal attacks in Paris by Muslims with the same evil terroristic beliefs as the 9/11 savages, today the world came together again against the death cult that is the radical Islamic “faith.” The largest crowd in Paris’ history just proclaimed “Je Suis Charlie” as Germany’s Prime Minister locked arms with the President of France and marched the streets that her country had occupied generations ago. The heroic Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the King and Queen of Jordan, the UK’s Prime Minister, the President of Mali, the Palestinian President, and so many others all put differences aside to proclaim, “Enough is enough! Evil shall not triumph!”

There was one noticeable absence – the man who promised in 2008 to restore America’s image around the world…the man nominated for the Nobel Peace prize just two weeks into this failed Presidency…the man who would seek to destroy those who effectively question what he is doing to America and her allies. Where was President Obama? Or even, in his stead, Vice President Biden? Secretary Kerry? I’ve no idea what took precedence on our President’s schedule this weekend, but America was MIA as the rest of the civilized world unified against Islamic fundamentalism.

I humbly dare speak for many concerned Americans tonight in asking, “Good God, Mr. President, we were once known as the leader of the free world, standing for what is right! You must not let America’s sacrifices be in vain. When will you learn that actions speak louder than your words?”

To the people of France, please know that we, the American people, stand with you in this fight against the insanity that is Islamic fundamentalism. Americans love our fellow man seeking peace, so we cry with you, “Je suis Charlie!”

There are more of us than there are of them. Barack Hussein Obama, do not give an inch to this evil.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/…/America-snubs-historic-Paris-r…

– Sarah Palin

This is the article at the Daily Mail that Governor Palin linked to:

MAKING A STATEMENT: World leaders walk side by side in a show of defiance and unity at a rally in response to the terror attacks that have taken place in France, including (left to right) British Prime Minister David Cameron, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mali's President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, French President Francois Hollande and Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel

America snubs historic Paris rally: Holder was there but skipped out early, Kerry was in India, Obama and Biden just stayed home

  • German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and British PM David Cameron were among dozens of world leaders there
  • Neither President Obama or Vice President Joe Biden attended the historic event, though both of their public schedules were open
  • Obama told the French on Friday that ‘the United States stands with you today, stands with you tomorrow’ – but he didn’t stand with them in Paris
  • US Attorney General Eric Holder was in Paris for a terrorism summit on the march’s sidelines, but was not seen at the march that followed
  • No cabinet secretaries or other senior officials attended, leaving only US Ambassador to France Jane Hartley as the top US official there

President Barack Obama and other top members of his administration have snubbed a historic rally in Paris today that brought together more than 40 world leaders from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and even Russia.

‘France is our oldest ally,’ Obama said during a speech Friday in Tennessee. ‘I want the people of France to know that the United States stands with you today, stands with you tomorrow.’

But he wasn’t standing in Paris as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas put aside their differences and linked arms.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov made the same unifying gesture in the march down the Place de la Concorde in defiance of the Islamist terror attacks that rocked the city last week.

According to an administration official, President Obama spent part of his Sunday afternoon watching a National Football League game on television. Both games were broadcast hours after the march.

Heads of state from every major European power, including British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, joined French President Francois Hollande.

But the U.S.A. was M.I.A.

[…]

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden remained in Washington, despite having no events on their public schedules Sunday. Secretary of State John Kerry was a world away in India, on a pre-planned trip.

Attorney General Eric Holder was in Paris for a terrorism summit held on the march’s sidelines, but he slipped away and made appearances on four American morning television talk shows just as the incredible rally was starting.

The US was represented at the march only by Jane Hartley, the American ambassador to France who is unrecognizable to most Americans, let alone the rest of the world.
