I’ve written about Meriam Ibrahim here, here, here, here and — finally — here.
It’s hard to believe that she’s back here in the United States and living with her family.
Watch her amazing interview here.

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page today:
Had a great time at the Values Voters Summit in Washington, DC. Inspired by many of those I got to visit with including Meriam Ibrahim whose strength is inspiring. Imprisoned in her native Sudan for converting to Christianity, Meriam was sentenced to death. She gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Maya Wani, in prison while still shackled to the floor. After the outcry of Christians and other people of faith across the country and the world, Meriam was freed. Never wavering from her belief in Christ, Meriam explained how she did not waver by telling us, “Faith means life. If you don’t have faith, you’re not alive.”

Bristol Palin has been keeping up with the Ibrahim story on her blog. She reported on Meriam’s first interview with FOX News in this post.
