We have always been inspired by the work of those very special therapists and educators who dedicate their lives to helping children and adults with special needs. Ever since Trig came into our lives, that respect has grown immensely.

Here is a direct link to the video, which has footage of Trig at home and some of his therapy sessions.

Gov. Palin to GOP: Liberals won’t hate you less if you play nice

Posted by Dr. Fay on July 30, 2014

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page this evening:

Sarah Palin
Rush is right. The GOP wants to take impeachment off the table? When will you learn liberals won’t hate you less if you play nice in these tumultuous times? No matter how polite, complacent, and complicit you are, Obama will continue to harm our Republic and make you impotent. Even today, his very un-presidential speech mocked you for always being a’ “hatin’.” Your apathy is their power. We must count on you, GOP. In the political arena you’re our last best hope at present. After soothing Obama by reassuring him that he’ll never be held accountable via the ultimate serious check on his lawlessness, you’ll now ease on down WHAT road to stop the madness? What’s the plan to stop his fundamental transformation of America? Please don’t tell us you’re armed with a phone and a pen and now a bunch of lawyers filing suit. You can’t bring those to the front lines and win.

And please don’t underestimate the wisdom of the people. We see Team Obama’s obvious strategy in pushing you back in a corner as you lay down the ultimate weapon of force our Founders provided you in our Constitution. Congress, you’ve already disarmed yourself of the other weapon the Constitution gives you by refusing to use the power of the purse to defund Obama’s lawlessness. Now you’re completely unilaterally disarming by taking any notion of impeachment off the table while Obama gleefully pushes forward with amnesty by fiat. He’s called your bluff, GOP! But it’s not too late.

Stand tall and don’t be afraid to educate the public about the Constitution’s remedy for a lawless imperial presidency. If you educate Americans about what impeachable offenses really are, they will listen. And trust me, if Obama moves on amnesty, Americans will look to you for action. If you stand up for the Constitution, you won’t let them down. Please be stronger, wiser, and more courageous for us. We’ll have your back. Reciprocate.

This summer marks the 37th anniversary of the completion of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and the first oil coming down from Prudhoe Bay. We’re talking about this marvel of ingenuity and hard work on our new channel and wanted to share the video with you.

Here is a direct link to the video, in which Governor Palin discusses the history of the  Trans-Alaska Pipeline (TAP) and emphasizes the need for development of our untapped underground natural resources.

Gov. Palin: Our untapped natural resources are key to our security and prosperity

Posted by Dr. Fay on July 30, 2014

Check out this article about ISIS getting rich off Iraq’s oil fields. Is there any doubt that America must be energy secure by developing OUR OWN energy supplies? Our rich natural resources, untapped underground, are key to national security and prosperity. Here in Alaska we must do all we can to promote responsible development and the good jobs it creates. We’re so oil rich up here, and we can do even more to contribute to the cause of security. No more foreign oil, friends; there is NO need to import, no need to rely on nations that do not like us. They use energy as a weapon, and they obviously don’t deserve our business. We have no business supporting them. Stay tuned to a solution; it’s what Alaska can do to ensure aggressive, responsible, ethical natural resource development. Stay tuned.

Here is the article by Frances Martel at that she linked to:

Experts Estimate ISIS Is Making Up to $3 Million a Day Selling Oil from Captured Fields

The terrorist group Islamic State, formerly the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), could be making up to $3 million a day in illicit oil sales using captured oil fields in Iraq and Syria. Iraqi officials are warning that the jihadists are selling their own oil in ISIS-controlled areas and shipping it out to shady buyers in nearby countries.

According to NBC, the Islamic State – which is attempting to transition from terrorist group to, precisely, a state – has begun to sell gas from oil fields and wells it has acquired at gas stations in Mosul, the second-largest city in Iraq and ISIS’s de facto capital in Iraq (the capital of the Islamic State is officially Raqqa, Syria). It is also said to be selling oil barrels to black market traders in Turkey at $25 per barrel.

NBC notes that about 80 wells captured in Iraq by ISIS are not pumping, but this issue does not appear to be a problem yet in the oil fields captured in Syria. According to Foreign Policy, which estimates that ISIS is making up to $3 million a day in revenue on oil alone, illicit production of oil in both Iraq and Syria, by ISIS as well as other jihadist groups, is up to 80,000 barrels a day. In Syria, 60% of oil fields are controlled by jihadists or tribesman, not the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

While the numbers are alarming, its oil production may not be enough to sustain the Islamic State. As the jihadist group attempts to expand from being a rogue collective of international mujahideen to a government, it will need to pay salaries and offer public services and social programs. This is especially true of a socialist experiment like the Islamic State, which has indicated a high interest in providing for social welfare and limiting private enterprise. As one expert tells Foreign Policy, ISIS has “gone from being the world’s richest terrorist organization to the world’s poorest state.”

The revenue from oil sales has triggered enough interest in the United Nations that sanctions may be forthcoming for those who do business with the state, however. On Monday, the UN Security Council issued a statement condemning “any engagement in direct or indirect trade of oil from Syria and Iraq involving terrorist groups” and defining such business as “financial support for terrorists and may lead to further sanctions listings.” That statement was, however, drafted by Russia, which has its own reasons to make sales from the Islamic State difficult: an unsavory reputation of its own that has led to sanctions on its own oil sales from the European Union and the United States.
