Gov. Palin: GOP needs to stand firm and not blink on Obamacare

Posted by Dr. Fay on September 30, 2013

Video retrieved from sarahnettoo.

Governor Palin talked with Neil Cavuto on FOX Business tonight about the showdown between the Senate Democrats and the House Republicans and the possibility of a government shutdown.  She referred to it as “governing in chaos”  and responded to one remark by a House GOPer who blamed the Tea Party by saying that the Tea Party Is not going anywhere.   In other words, we’re here to stay.  She also repeated her saying that polls are for strippers and cross country skiers.

When asked about the backlash of a government shutdown against the GOP, Governor Palin replied that after a shutdown in the 1990’s, the GOP gained two new Senate seats and a majority in the House and that welfare reform followed.

Gov. Palin called on the GOP to stand firm and not to blink.   She said to just let the government chill a little bit.  She said that the military should be paid and Social Security checks issued, but  that nonessential workers shouldn’t be on the payroll anyway.
