Gov. Palin: Obama’s U.N. speech delusions and contradictions are truly unbelievable

Our president was delusional and contradictory when he declared in his speech before the U.N. General Assembly, “The world is more stable than it was five years ago” (exactly when he swooped into office to calm the rising tides). But then in the next breath he listed examples of how it’s not more stable. All he needed to do was ask the Christians of the Middle East who are being targeted everywhere we look by Islamic extremists on their deadly march. This same president has declared that “Al Qaeda is on the run.” Yes, they apparently ran to places like Egypt, Libya, Kenya, Syria, and perhaps here next for all we know. It’s not like they haven’t attacked our homeland before. Good Lord, “delusional” is a generous term. The world right now is a tinderbox, hardly stable.

Instead of calling out the President’s deceptive comments, his reliable lapdogs in the media turn their attention and ire on Ted Cruz for daring to stand up for the American people. Maybe if Ted had worn pretty pink running shoes he’d have gotten more respect from the same leftwing media that gushed over the Texan state senator who filibustered in the Texas legislature for the right to late term abortions of babies (a position at odds with the sentiment of the majority of Texans and Americans).

See the link below for more on Obama’s U.N. speech delusions and contradictions. It’s truly unbelievable.

(Updated) Palin continues to #StandWithCruz during epic battle against Obamacare

Posted by Dr. Fay on September 25, 2013

Like most patriotic Americans, Governor Palin is standing with Cruz and the Senators who have been working with him since yesterday afternoon to filibuster the cloture vote in the Senate on the House of Representative’s Continuing Resolution to fund the government and defund Obamacare. Their goal is to prevent Senator Harry Reid from adding an amendment to fund Obamacare and then pass the bill with a simple majority.

Last night, Governor Palin posted the photo above on her Facebook page with this comment:

Ted & Mike are going strong for over 10hrs now. We can hear you all the way in Wasilla. DC better be listening! #MakeDCListen

Earlier in the evening, she retweeted a photo of Senator Cruz’s daughters listening as he read ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ as a bedtime story for them and then compared it to Obamacare.

RT Pic of daughters as he reads them Green Eggs & Ham.

Governor Palin also supported Cruz’s efforts during her appearance on Hannity last night.

——————–

Governor Palin jokingly recommended that if Senator Cruz ran out of material that he could start reading the Obamacare bill “since no one else there on the Senate floor has actually read it.”   She said that maybe Nancy Pelosi would be watching CSPAN and say, “Oh, that’s what’s in it!”   She held up a large Bible and said that even with its enlarged font and commentary, it is only 1600 pages, as compared to the 20,000 pages of Obamacare.  She predicted another “Reagan uprising” in a couple of years to return the nation to its greatness after Obama leaves office.

As Hannity explained, if Republicans vote for cloture, they will be giving Senator Harry Reid the ability to strip the legislation to defund Obamacare from the House’s bill.  Voting against cloture gives Republicans the opportunity to stop Obamacare by defunding it.  Senator Cruz has explained this reasoning in detail in his op-ed at Real Clear Politics.  It would only take 46 votes against cloture to accomplish this.

Even earlier in the evening, Governor Palin tweeted words of encouragement to Senator Cruz:

Stay strong ! Wear comfortable shoes. As we did for Rand Paul, fortifying caribou jerky is on its way

We hope Senator Cruz had an opportunity to enjoy the moose jerky during his epic stand against the monstrosity known as Obamacare! May God give him and the Senators who are standing with him the strength and the words to continue this crucial battle. And may they win a major victory today for the American people, whom they represent. As Senator Cruz has emphasized over and over during his filibuster, DC needs to listen to the American people.

UPDATE:

This morning, Governor Palin posted this photo and comment on her Facebook page:

Piper’s getting ready for school & Ted’s still going! Encourage kids to learn US history through this & endure to do what’s right. #MakeDCListen
