It’s official. There’s been a Sarah Palin sighting at the 139th Kentucky Derby. The photo to the left was tweeted at 3:41 p.m. from the account of @Silly_Willy.
Breitbart News picked it up and published the following story:
A day after addressing the National Rifle Association convention, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is attending the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. No word yet on whether Palin has placed a wager on a horse or horses. There are a lot of great story lines at the Derby. “Frac Daddy” was named as a tribute to oil field workers. “Normandy Invasion” honors World War II veterans. A female jockey is riding “Mylute.” Trainer Todd Pletcher has saddled five horses. And Rick Pitino co-owns “Goldencents.” Jockey Kevin Kriggins, who will attempt to become the first black jockey to win the race since 1902, will ride that horse. More
I tweeted my personal favorite, Normandy Invasion, to to the Guv.
Good luck to all riders and Happy Derby!
