Palin Keynotes Terri Schiavo Gala: All Life Has ‘Worth That’s Immeasurable’

April 8, 2013 (Breitbart) – On Friday night in Philadelphia, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin keynoted an event designed to honor Terri Schiavo and defend life, delivering a heartfelt speech at the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network’s Award Gala in front of a packed ballroom of supporters in which she declared that nothing was more “important than defending the right to life.”
“Her plight, her journey, taught Americans who we are and what we can be,” Palin said, speaking about Schiavo. “Her story is certainly not over.”

Gov. Palin Congratulates New Alaska Air National Guard Officers

Posted by Dr. Fay on April 9, 2013

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page this evening:

A big shout out and congratulations to Lt. Renaye Lavin of Wasilla and her fellow officers in the photo below. These are some of the newest officers in the Alaska Air National Guard. Six officers were graduated from the Academy of Military Science in a six week intensive officer training program in March. Thank you all for your service to our nation! Renaye’s always been a leader; we’re so thankful she’s putting her talents to great use in serving something greater than self. Thank you, officers! – Sarah Palin

Snow in Wasilla

Posted by Dr. Fay on April 9, 2013

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page this morning:

This photo is from THIS MORNING in Wasilla! Tons of new snow. Tons. My sister Molly took this photo of her grill and emailed me: “Looks like I took the grill out of the shed too early again this spring!” Is it any wonder the family is excited to go to Arizona this week for Willow’s graduation as she embarks on a new career as a small business owner? And in honor of Willow’s accomplishment we wanted to do something charitable. So, we’ll join Gov. Brewer for the “Hope & A Future’s Strikeout Child Abuse Walk” in Phoenix on Saturday at 3pm.

Here’s a feel good story from Wasilla High. Glacier is the son of my friend Jana. We were both pregnant at the same time when we worked together at City Hall when I was mayor and she worked in Parks & Recreation. My daughter Willow and her son Glacier were born just a few days apart. And a few days after Glacier was born, Jana told me he had Down syndrome. I didn’t even know what to say, nor could I imagine what life would be like for her. All I could say was God knew what He was doing when Glacier became part of her life. She grinned and agreed, and she has been an inspiration to me ever since. And now all these years later, our Wasilla Warriors just elected Glacier Prom King!

The heartwarming video she linked to can be viewed here.
