Palin to Pen Book about Christmas

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 11, 2013

sarah-gestures-at-lexington-ky-book-signing3Sarah Palin knows the importance of winning the culture war and in a new book is taking on the subject of Christmas.

According to The Washington Post,  “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas” is due to be released by HarperCollins in November.

A search on Amazon does not yield any results yet; however, as soon as a cover is released we’ll be sure to share this information with our readers.

From The Washington Post:

NEW YORK — Sarah Palin has a new book coming, this time about Christmas.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor has a deal with HarperCollins for “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas,” scheduled for November.  HarperCollins announced Monday that the book will criticize the “over-commercialism” and “homogenization” of Christmas and call for a renewed emphasis on the religious importance.

“Amidst the fragility of this politically correct era, it is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored,” Palin said in a statement released through her publisher. “This will be a fun, festive, thought provoking book, which will encourage all to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas.”  More

Dear Sarah, I am sooo glad you are penning the NEW book “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas!” I am very supportive of YOU and your family and your books. (Have read yours and Bristol’s, but have not as yet read your dad & brother’s book.) You are a strong and brave person whom I admire. And, I definitely (without having read your book) AGREE with you – A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas. Christ is holy and even some Christians are not honoring HIM as holy. Some Christians do not understand the “Fear of the LORD” and it’s time we learn. It’s time to share Jesus as HE is and become the people HE has called us to be, and BE the way HE has called us to BE. It’s time each of us seek the LORD while HE may be found, and step into the destiny to which we have been called. You are bold as a lion and have been such a good example to others in so many ways. I pray that you and your family stand strong in the LORD and in the power of HIS might, and continue to speak out on important issues with the truth. Thank you so much. May GOD the Father bless, protect and prosper you. You are a blessing! In HIS Name & for HIS Sake, Patricia Towles
