Dancing With The Stars: Week 3, Vote for Bristol & Mark (Updated with SarahNetRadio Interview)

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on October 7, 2012

During week two of Dancing With The Stars, Bristol and Mark were again deemed “safe”.  Once again, many voters wanted to see Bristol and Mark return to dance during week three.  Dancing With The Stars will be on the air Monday, October 8th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on ABC.  Be sure to tune in then vote to support Bristol and Mark!

Quick recap on how to vote:

Voting information from Mark’s Blog & updated to reflect current information:

The couples dance on Monday nights for a score from the judges. Then the fans vote for their favorite. The judges score counts 50% and the fans 50%. The key to the judges score is that they convert it to a percentage. They take all the scores from the judges and add them together. Then that number is divided into the score for the individual couple. That gives the 50% that counts as the judges scores. Same thing with the fan vote. All the votes are totaled and that number is divided into the couples fan vote. The lowest combined judges scores and fan scores send a couple home.

There will be three ways to vote:

The first is by phone
800-868-3409. The number will remain the same throughout the competition. Phone lines open as soon as the show starts and stay open for 1 hour after the show. Fans should try to phone vote as soon as the show starts. After they dance and at end of the show are the hardest times to get through and we want every single vote. You can vote on as many phones as you have access to. For the first half of the season, voters will be allowed the same number votes as the contestants. For example, the first week there will be thirteen contestants, so each type of account gets 13 votes. The second week it will go down to 12. Once they are down to 5 contestants or less, the fans still get 5 votes per account.

ATT users can text their votes by texting the word “vote” to
3409. Once again you get the same number of votes as contestants. It is my understanding you can text votes and call votes from the same phone.

The final way is online. Go to http://abc.go.com/shows/dancing-with-the-stars/. On show nights there will be a vote tab. You have to have an account to vote online. You should make your accounts before the show starts because when the show is going the site crawls. You can vote with as many accounts as you make.

Dancing with the Stars is definitely a team effort. Bristol and Mark will do the dancing-the fans have to do the voting!

Our Sarah Makes Amazon Best Seller List

Posted by Adrienne Ross on October 7, 2012

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Governor Palin’s father and brother’s new book, Our Sarah: Made in Alaska, hit the shelves on September 25. Already, the book is enjoying success. Currently, Our Sarah has reached the Amazon Best Seller list in the Political Leader Biographies category. The Kindle edition is #6, and among hardcover books, it’s #10.

Chuck Heath, Sr. and Chuck, Jr. worked hard to write a book that shares the truth of who the Heaths and Palins are. We get a good look at Governor Palin, the people who have influenced her, the experiences she’s lived, and the values she’s espoused. We get to understand her work ethic better and how it was shaped, we learn details about the 2008 campaign, and we come away with an even greater respect for both Governor Palin and her family. You’ll do a little laughing and crying along the way as well.

In various media appearances, the Chucks have stated that over one hundred books have been written about their daughter and sister, but theirs is different. They actually know the subject of their book, unlike some of the other authors, many of whom were simply looking for a way to destroy her and promote a false narrative. Governor Palin mentioned this in her Facebook “thank you” note to those who have supported her dad and brother on the tour.

If you haven’t purchased the book yet, you will definitely want to do so. I can attest to the fact that you won’t want to put it down. You can get yours at Amazon here.

Congratulations, Chuck, Sr. and Chuck, Jr. May you enjoy continued success.

Gov. Palin thanks supporters and those in the media who have supported the ‘Our Sarah’ Book tour

Governor Palin posted this Note on her Facebook page earlier today:

Thank you to everyone who has supported my dad and my brother on their book tour!

by Sarah Palin on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 1:28am ·
.

Several books and articles have been written, and some movies made, under the guise of sharing with the public who the Palins are, and who I am in particular. Very often, the goal is simply to misrepresent us and present something so far-fetched as to not bear any resemblance to truth at all. Many in the media have been more than happy to make room for these stories and allow those behind them to have their say, though these “biographers” very often neither know me nor are willing to put names to their so-called sources.

This is why I so appreciate those members of the media who are giving my dad and brother—who have written a factual book—a platform to tell the real story. Unlike many of the other books people have turned to for information, Our Sarah: Made in Alaska is written by two people who actually know me, were there through much of the 2008 campaign, and have cut through the bunk right to the truth—the truth of who the Heaths and Palins really are and what an Alaska upbringing provides. I am thankful for those who actually are fair and balanced in their reporting, giving the two Chucks the same opportunity to tell their story.

Two particularly good interviews are one Chuck, Jr. did with the Great One, Mark Levin, and an interview Greta Van Susteren conducted with both Chucks. If you only saw what Greta was able to air on On the Record last night, be sure to watch the uncut version.

A heartfelt “thank you” to those who have taken part in the book tour. In a whirlwind of a schedule, Dad and Chuck, Jr. have traveled to various states, and many of you have been there to greet them, help with laundry (yes, that’s right!), or just shake their hands. I know they appreciate it, and I just wanted to chime in and say that I appreciate it also. The tour is winding down, but there are a few more stops. Go here to see the remaining schedule, and stop in to say “hello” if you can. You never know: you might just end up in one of my brother’s journal entries, which he’s recording on theirFacebook page.

Thank you!

Can’t Be More Dedicated: Gentleman Tattoos Palin’s Signature To His Arm (Photo)

Posted by M.Joseph Sheppard At Palin4President2016 on October 7, 2012

The Heaths’ patrem et filium (the latter being Sarah’s brother, of course) are on a book launch tour for their jointly written “Our Sarah” book. On their travels they met this gentleman, who is surely the most dedicated Sarah fan.

If I ever think that I am getting too heavily involved at this blogging site, then I am indebted to this gentleman, whose photo shows just how far down on the dedication scale I am!

Here is the photo and the accompanying descriptive note from Mr. Heath’s Facebook page.

Good for him!
