I almost felt bad for Obama supporters last night (almost). I can only imagine that it must’ve felt like admiring/worshipping a popular musician for so long — you just love them — you own every CD of theirs, belong to their fan club, sing along in your car at the top of your lungs when their songs are played on the radio….
Only to have the opportunity to go to a concert and see/hear them live. What a disappointment when you hear them perform live and they can’t carry a tune in a bucket…they sound awful!! How could this be? This is when you realize that the recording studio and the technicians that make them sound awesome are their best friends. In Obama’s case, the mainstream media and teleprompters have been his “filters” or “recording studio”. They’ve always made him look/sound so good.
I have to add by saying that, of course, the die hard Obama zombies chanting “Yes We Can” (no, they had 4 years and DIDN’T) and his new campaign slogan “FORWARD” (forward with the same b.s. we’ve experienced the last 4 years) will still be standing on their concert seats cheering regardless. They will blame the venue, the venue’s sound system, or maybe the altitude, or perhaps their star performer was sick and this contributed to their awful live performance. They will excuse it away and pay again to see the show next time they come to town.
I am bracing myself for the next debate, as I’m sure Obama will come out swinging….but, if Mitt brings the same tenacity, leadership, knowledge as he did last night….he might make the American people take a long hard look at the incumbent. Those previously misled voters may realize that Obama was never talented enough to hold this position in the first place (i.e. He should’ve been sent home from “American Idol” in the first round!!) LOL.
