Ted Belman: Sarah Palin’s writing skills

Posted by Dr. Fay on September 19, 2012

Israpundit editor Ted Belman had this to say about Governor Palin’s writing skills:

Sarah Palin’s writing skills

By Ted Belman

For those of you who still believe that Sarah Palin is intellectually challenged or worse, an idiot or bimbo, I recommend that you read her book review, published by Breitbart, which begins:

I don’t normally read “true crime” books, and I’ve certainly never written a review of one, but Errol Morris’ new book,

“A Wilderness of Error,”

isn’t typical of the genre. It’s much more interesting and I think important. It’s a book about the failings of a legal system administered by very fallible human beings, and it’s a book about how we buy into false media narratives that tidy up uncomfortably complex stories and give us permission to call off any further search for truth – and, yes, Morris argues with refreshing clarity that objective truth is real and worthy of being sought after despite the pretentious nonsense preached in faculty lounges about all truth being relative. In fact, he argues passionately that the search for truth is what journalism and justice is all about.

The book she reviews takes to task her arch nemesis Joe McGinniss. You know the creep who rented the house next to hers for the summer so that he could watch all of her family’s comings and goings.

The reason I am drawing your attention to it was that I was startled how good her writing skills are and wanted to share them with you. She didn’t take journalism for nothing.

Of course these skills are apparent in all her Facebook posts but I felt more apparent in this review.

For those of you who weren’t aware of it, Sarah Palin has always been a book worm. She was known for reading the newspaper from cover to cover and for always having a book in hand that she was currently reading.

  1. David said

Sarah Palin, an idiot or bimbo? Not hardly. Sarah’s record as Governor is the best Alaska has ever seen and possibly the best it will ever see, Sarah accomplished feats that other Governor’s ran from. It is why her approval rating was as high as 90%!

It amazes me when I hear people complaining about their government but yet fail to connect the dots that their elected representatives are the collective problem – they are the government. It amazes me when I hear people saying that we need to stop electing the better of two evils or that we need to elect representatives who will work for us, The People, but then when someone like Sarah Palin comes along who has a personal and professional record that is above reproach and is one of a true Servant’s Heart these same people run away while throwing stones. Amazing.

My advice, stop listening to political party owned media outlets and start doing your own research. And ask yourself, “Am I a Slave or am I an Independent (a Man, a Woman)?” If you are an Independent then stop being in-slaved to a political party by allowing them to put you in a group – a government in-slaving program. If you don’t know what a government in-slaving program is, here is a clue: it is a voting block. Oh, and stop allowing the political elites in telling you are a Democrat or a Republican or whatever. Only politicians are of a political party. You my fellow American are a “CITIZEN VOTER”. When you allow them to tell you that you are Democrat or a Republican what they are really doing is creating the mind set that you belong to a team. Therefore, you vote for the team, their team. Your team is my team. Our team is the We The People team. And unless we start acting and voting like We The People we are going to loss our country, and our God given Rights are going to be replaced with government given Rights.

  2. Her writing skills became apparent, to me, in her ‘op-ed’ pieces that she wrote. She’s no dummy. Sarah Palin and George Bush are stunning examples of what the liberal, progressive, lamestream media can do to someone’s character.
