Replace Akin with Steelman!

It’s really the best choice. Sarah Steelman has unquestioned conservative credentials and garnered the endorsement of Governor Sarah Palin, for crying out loud!
That fact has to roil the GOPe in Missouri. All the other candidates that have been floated are moderate at best and not likely to capture the enthusiasm of the Tea Party.
Without a doubt, the GOPe’s preferred candidates will lose in November, and for what? Bragging rights?
No, the best bet for the Missouri GOP is to put Steelman in place of Todd Akin. If she wins, they can puff out their chests and say “We knew what we were doing!”
If she loses, they can claim that they caved under pressure from the Tea Party, knowing that Sarah Steelman would get waxed by her Democratic opponent.
Hey Missouri GOP! You have nothing to lose by replacing Akin with Steelman!

Steelman is a Fiscal and Constitutional Conservative – and
that’s been her major focus. Of course, she’s also a Social Conservative as well, but she focused primarily on the fiscal mess in DC and how she, as a very successful MO State Treasurer, would work to address this number one national issue!
I even posted this opinion on HuffPo yesterday and, again, just wished that Steelman had reached out to Palin months before she did – so that there might have been the chance of the same outcome that Ted Cruz enjoyed in TX!
Well, it’s still not too late – that is, if Akin doesn’t let his ego and his ambition stand in the way. And, BTW, what a great antidote to Akin to see the face of an intelligent WOMAN who’d never be caught dead uttering such an inane and ignorant statement that Akin did – much to everyone’s chagrin and frustration!
