Many words have been used to describe former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, but maybe the most appropriate is gracious. Palin, along with husband Todd and daughters Willow and Piper, attend Bruce Rastetter’s annual summer party on Saturday night at his rural north-central Iowa home.
Rastetter extended an invitation to the Palin’s months ago through Republican activist Becky Beach. The former Republican Vice President nominee RSVPed earlier this week. Palin mingled with guests for more than three and a half hours on Saturday night, taking time to shake hands and pose for photographs with anyone who wanted one. She didn’t make remarks, but was mentioned from the stage by Bob Quinn, the host of WHO Radio’s “Big Show.”
Rastetter’s summer party is an annual event that draws hundreds of his friends, business associates, and plenty of Republican elected officials. Last year, three different presidential candidates mingled with guests. This year besides Palin, Governor Branstad, Senator Grassley, and Congressman King and Latham were all in attendance.
In a Fox News interview this week Palin said that she would be visiting Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska. While Palin didn’t do any campaigning in Iowa, she did campaign for U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman in Missouri and made a stop in Nebraska in support of U.S. Senate candidate Deb Fischer.

Mrs Sara Palin, Please use this in one of your speeches. Americans don’t want Chicago values in the White House! Then name the many bad Chicago values. O’bama brought Chicago to the White House and the Congress. Praise the Lord for Chick-fil-A owners. Please come to virginia and see our founding Father’s homes and get correct information about them.
