Wall Street Journal Produces Video Giving Palin Credit For Senate Wins

Posted by M.Joseph Sheppard At Palin4President2016 on August 3, 2012

The Wall Street Journal, which at times has not been overly friendly to Sarah Palin produced a video interview in which full credit for Deb Fischer’s win in Nebraska was given to Palin as well as credit for substantial influence in  other key victories-Ted Cruz in Texas, of course, being included.

Whilst obvious to those of an independent frame of mind, it has taken an astonishing run of seven Palin endorsements in a row, in key races, to give the MSM no other choice but to acknowledge her power and influence. The haters have to fall back on “Palin only endorses when the winner is obvious” meme but that is so patently ridiculous that they will have to think of something else.

Adding to the video, the WSJ also ran a full article in their main newsprint edition and on-line edition “

“Palin Finds Nothing Succeeds Like Success”

By NEIL KING JR.

Ted Cruz’s come-from-behind win in a Republican runoff in Texas this week rattled the state’s GOP establishment and embarrassed Gov. Rick Perry, who had backed Mr. Cruz’s opponent in the U.S. Senate primary.

In doing so, the upset victory gave another jolt of momentum to the endorsement machine of Sarah Palin, who gave Mr. Cruz a well-timed plug in May—and campaigned with him in Texas last week.

Sarah Palin is again using her influence to try to push conservative challengers within her own party. She notched a win in Tuesday in Ted Cruz’s come-from-behind Senate primary victory in Texas, having endorsed Mr. Cruz early on. Neil King has details on The News Hub.

After fading to the margins during the presidential primary, the former Republican vice presidential candidate and conservative lightning rod is once again becoming a valuable ally in duels within her party, making endorsements in nine primary races so far in 2012, compared with more than 60 in the 2010 election cycle.

[…]

This year, Ms. Palin appears to be doling out her support more judiciously. That is garnering kudos from conservatives not normally disposed to applauding her.

“She has shown a level of political maturity that is surprising—and not just to me, but to others in the party,” said Republican operative Rich Galen. “By limiting her involvement, she is giving her picks more weight. And that is helping her brand.”

[…]

At a rally last week in Dallas, Ms. Palin assured the crowd that Mr. Cruz would never “make nice with the frou-frou, chi-chi cocktail crowd” in Washington.

Mr. Cruz had plenty of other allies, including the conservative and deep-pocketed Club for Growth, South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint and television host Glenn Beck. In Indiana, too, Ms. Palin joined a tea-party cavalcade to support Richard Mourdock in his primary victory over Indiana’s Republican elder, Sen. Dick Lugar.

But as evidence of the former Alaska governor’s golden touch, Palin supporters note what happened when she took sides in May in a three-way GOP Senate primary in Nebraska and backed little-known Deb Fisher. Other conservative powerhouses, among them Mr. DeMint, threw their weight behind one of Ms. Fisher’s rivals. Ms. Fisher won in an upset.

A similar scenario may be playing out now in Missouri, where Ms. Palin plans to campaign Friday alongside another underdog, former state Treasurer Sarah Steelman. One of three major candidates, Ms. Steelman lags in recent polls behind businessman John Brunner, who has poured millions of dollars of his own money into the race and has U.S. Chamber of Commerce backing.

Ahead of the Aug. 7 vote, Ms. Palin this week cut a TV ad hailing Ms. Steelman as someone who would protect taxpayers “like a mama grizzly protects her cubs”—reprising a favored image from her vice-presidential bid.

Tim Crawford, a Palin adviser and treasurer of Sarah PAC, the former governor’s political-action committee, said Ms. Palin isn’t necessarily being more selective in her endorsements this cycle. “What you’re seeing is the continued impact of what happens when she does endorse,” he said.

One Palin pick this year that seemed to break the mold went to Mr. Hatch. Rather than endorse a challenger who aligned himself with tea-party groups, Ms. Palin backed the six-term incumbent, saying the Utah senator was committed to balancing the federal budget. Mr. Hatch prevailed.

Left’s Latest: “OK, Palin’s Aren’t Divorcing, But Now They Are Just Too Darn Happy”

Posted by M.Joseph Sheppard At Palin4President2016 on August 3, 2012

This photo (below) of Sarah and Todd Palin has done more than any yet of Sarah Palin to drive the left even further bonkers crazy whenever her name is mentioned or picture seen.

One article, which included the photograph, about the Palin’s visit to Chick-Fill-A at The Huffington Post AT THIS LINK received 11,000 comments – the overwhelming majority being foaming-at-the-mouth hate-filled bile.

Apart from the usual hate-filled rants, an interesting new theme has arisen -“damn them, those Palins are just too happy.” With adjuncts “look at this smiling happy couple” and “wearing their sanctimonious smiles.” So the Palin’s can’t, of course, win. If they are quietly getting on with their lives, they must be divorcing.  If they are obviously not divorcing, then they are just too happy – which is not normal to a leftist frame of mind, it seems.

It seems to me that apart from the purely partisan hate, much hate is generated against the Palins because she lives an active life, which the left expects to see only from leftist women, plus she holds true to her right-to-life beliefs – to the ultimate degree. The rest of the reasons for Palin derangement are best left to the psychiatric profession to examine, as they are beyond my ken – 11,000 hate messages, incredible.

There was, for quite some time, a theme that the Palins were going to be divorced. The maniacal “Immoral Minority” mad bloggers kept on advising that “an iceberg” was coming which was going to blow away the pretense of a happy Palin couple. This was abetted by the ridiculous Levi Johnston’s tittle tattle (which he rescinded and then redid). Scandal sheets ran a number of “Palins to divorce” stories, which time has given the lie to, of course.

Here’s “Huliq”: “Todd and Sarah Palin getting divorced?”, quoting The National  Enquirer!  Which story, they advise, “may or may not be true.”

Here is one journalist (sic) Chelsea Hoffman, who apparently has no shame:“Is Sarah Palin getting a divorce?” (note the get-out-of-jail question mark), and here is part of Hoffman’s bio, which speaks volumes, doesn’t it:
