Today is Trig Palin’s fourth birthday! Over the past year, we have only caught glimpses of Trig in family photos shared by Governor Palin and Bristol. But we can see that he’s growing into a handsome young man. And we have heard Governor Palin tell us what a joy he is to the Palin family. On behalf of the authors at SPIB, I want to wish Trig a very happy 4th birthday and many more to come. May your days always be bright, and may all your dreams come true.

Happy Birthday, Trig! I understand why your parents are sheltering you from the scrutiny of the “lame-stream” media, but those of us who a parents of children with Down Syndrome sure wish we could see more of you! You and your loving family represent so much to us, and your parents could be such powerful voices out there helping us to proclaim the value of people like you, both before birth and after as you grow into such a delightful young man who will need proper education and a job to do in the future.
