No Fooling: Governor Palin to Host ‘Today’ Tuesday

Posted by Adrienne Ross on April 1, 2012

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

The first of April and foolery usually go hand in hand, but I’m not joking when I report that Governor Palin will be co-hosting The Today Show on Tuesday. Yes, that Today Show–on NBC!

She retweeted this tweet:

Tuesday @todayshow exclusive: @SarahPalinUSA live in studio. A side you haven’t seen…More to come

Some people have voiced disagreement that Governor Palin is giving NBC the ratings boost they are sure to receive when she appears on Tuesday. But this is actually quite sweet. After an exclusive interview with the Governor, Breitbart News reports:

When news broke that Katie Couric will be filling in for Robin Roberts next week on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” the country yawned. Or, at least we did, until we learned that NBC plans to pit “The Rogue Warrior” against “The Perky One”: Sarah Palin will be guest-hosting “Today” this Tuesday.

[…]

Palin and Couric will be squaring off, in a sense, for the first time since their controversial interview on the 2008 campaign trail.

While some would rather see her diss NBC for their numerous disses of her, as is often the case, the Governor sees things quite clearly. She’s keeping her eyes on the bigger picture. Concerning Tuesday, she says:

I see this as a good opportunity to bring an independent, common-sense conservative perspective to NBC. We’re ‘going rogue’ and infiltrating some turf for a day.

What about taking on Katie Couric? Perhaps that’s the sweetest part. “Game on,” Governor Palin says.

I like the sound of that.

Here’s an NBC video preview (h/t C4P):

  1. What Time?

Such a simple question and nobody online seem to have bothered to answer. According to my television listings, NBC has The Today Show, the Today Show II, and the Today Show III.

People like me NEVER watch garbage networks like NBC, and don’t know one Today Show from another. Tomorrow I’ll make an exception.

    What time?

That is a very good move for Sarah! The network could benefit from great ratings brought by Sarah Palin. and if it does they just may offer her a permanent spot, and maybe she can turn that network around to becoming more fair and conservative!? Never know, stranger things could happen!
