Chris Bannon: An Evening with Breitbart and Palin

Posted by Sarah Palin Web Brigade on March 16, 2012

In this beautifully written article at Big Government, Chris Bannon recounts the premiere of ‘The Undefeated’ in Pella, Iowa and the dinner that evening at which both Andrew Breitbart and Governor Palin were present.

Two of the leading conservatives of our times were in the forefront of the news this past week. One was the man for all seasons, conservative crusader and new media mogul Andrew Breitbart who, at 43, passed from this world much too soon. The other is the conservative political star Sarah Palin, who is featured in an awful and completely manipulated new liberal hit piece focused on her Vice Presidential campaign. Both are larger than life figures whom I do not claim to know but have had the pleasure of hanging around with for a brief, shining moment in time.

This past summer, I went to Pella, Iowa to assist in the premiere event for the Palin documentary, “The Undefeated.” The small, Midwest Dutch-German town and its old historic opera house had been chosen as an ideal spot to launch the acclaimed documentary film because it was just that: small and Midwestern. Some forty miles east of Des Moines, Pella is also over 1,000 miles from Washington, D.C. and New York and even farther from L.A. and San Francisco. When you visit Pella, words like heartland, friendly, homespun, simple, clean and safe come to mind, making it an ideal and comfortable setting for this uncomplicated, small-town girl to view a film about her own personal accomplishments – not such a comfortable prospect itself.

The event went off as scheduled, and the large and polite Iowa crowds gathered along the ropes to see the hope of a generation. As only Palin would, the former Governor did not just sign shirts and hats and smile for photos. Sarah from Alaska engaged each and every person who had stood patiently and politely for hours just to get a glimpse of her. She was not “working the crowd” for the photographers or as a cursory obligation; she was getting to know each and every person like they were her neighbors. I think that is how she feels when she is with a crowd of folks. She has known them all her life, and just because she is just now meeting them for the first time, that is no reason to be standoffish or in a hurry. Sarah Palin, the mom, the wife, the neighbor and the small-town girl, talked to each and every one in a real and personal way. She talked to the kids and would address the group, not just one representative. She would point out how she liked something they had on or the way they did their hair or a sign they had made for the day. She did the same with the adults, especially the women who obviously worshipped her. She was THEIR girl and she was just like them – cut from the same working-class cloth that is the fabric of our nation. They shared her spunk and tenacity as well as her good heart and motherly concern. She was their high school buddy, a pretty tomboy turned beautiful, a loving mom and wife turned warrior, an organic local activist turned political giant.

One pretty young girl along the ropes started crying when Palin approached her. Upon seeing her state, Palin said, “Are you okay?” The girl looked at Palin and said, “You changed my life.” Palin queried how, and the young college student began a story. “I was in my teens and I got pregnant and I was not going to keep the baby. I had nothing going for me, and then I saw you and how you handled Bristol and how you handled your Trig. It just made me realize it was going to be okay.” With the crowds tugging at her, Palin engaged woman-to-woman, mom-to-mom, friend-to-friend. At that point, Palin could have moved on, but she did not. She asked the young mom another most important, personal question, “How are you doing?” The girl said she was great and so proud that she was now in college and raising her baby and doing fine, and she was so proud of her accomplishments. Palin told her how great that was and there is nothing you can’t do, and they hugged and only then did a satisfied Sarah Palin move on.

I am sure it was not the first time any political figure had gotten in the weeds in a crowd, but as I stood close by for the three-hour marathon, I was impressed by how incredibly genuine and hopeful she was. Even when her body man, Todd, would whisper in her ear, “Honey, we have to move on,” Sarah would quietly turn and say, “I think we have a little more time,” and with that he would look at me and smile. It was not the first or last time he would hear this. And she would continue on until the sun set and every person who came to Pella that day got their moment with their friend who was running for nothing and asking for less.

Later that evening, after the crowd had dispersed, the national press folks still in town gathered with some of the film’s staff and a small group of conservative disciples in the hotel restaurant for a bite. A table of six turned to eight and twelve, as folks staggered in individually to find a family-like gathering that seemed a welcome sight to these homeless road warriors. The unlikely mix sat and ate and argued and laughed.

There was a major electronic media reporter, a young star correspondent, a political writer, radio host Tammy Bruce, and the grand master himself, Andrew Breitbart, to name a few. I sat back from the table a few feet and just listened to the discussions which were fast, furious, brilliant, broad, and deep. It was an amazing thing to be a part of, even if I was just an uninformed passer-by. The discussion went on for hours and with great engagement by all until the Palins joined us. Then, the conversation shifted entirely towards Palin and her political plans and importance. A great night had gotten better, if that was possible. Breitbart pontificated and jousted with Bruce and the press and the handlers. Palin would listen and weigh-in as all sat on edge hoping for THE declaration or even a wink and a nod, but it did not come. So without it, everyone would sound off again, Breitbart would go off in style, and round and round the conversation would go, to everyone’s delight.

After several hours (2:00 AM), the Palins decided it was time to retire, and the group began to dissipate. I turned to the young hotshot journalist and asked him, “Does this happen all the time on the campaign trail?” And he looked at me and said, “Does what happen all the time?” I said, “The politician you are covering and her disciples come down, hang out and just casually engage with you all?” He looked at me through his beer goggles and said, “This never happens… I have never seen this ever happen and you were just treated to a unique event that most of us will go a lifetime without being a part of.” I was stunned; it seemed so casual and fun and interesting that I just assumed it was how it always played out.

[…]

That night, in a little place known for windows and windmills, I witnessed two giants of a great American movement meet and ponder the fate and direction of a nation. The two brightest shooting stars of this generation who will never again be in the same room. And as that long summer night ended, and they said their kind goodbyes, they went their separate ways; but I knew they and we were all heading down the same path. A beautiful and rugged path that leads to a “Shining City on a Hill” that a wise old man spoke of not so long ago.

Godspeed, Andrew Breitbart, and God bless you, Sarah Palin.

Palin: Breitbart Is Here

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 16, 2012

The following op-ed was written by Sarah Palin and published at Breitbart.com.  It’s clear that those who worked with or followed the work of Andrew Breitbart are still feeling the pain of his loss but his mission will be carried out by each of us. #IAmAndrewBreitbart

There is a new street art poster that’s being emailed around and will no doubt eventually be spotted on a street corner near you. It’s a gritty black and white image of Andrew Breitbart looking both battle-worn and ever vigilant with the caption: “BREITBART IS HERE.”

Those three words express the instant connection many of us feel for our fallen friend. They express our identification with him, and our need to continue his fight for the good of our republic.

With the death of Breitbart, the conservative movement didn’t just lose a General – we lost an entire Special Forces Division. But he didn’t leave us without the tools and the knowledge we need to fight. This website – Breitbart 2.0 – is the culmination of his study of the technology and aesthetics of new media. The team Breitbart assembled under the leadership of Steve Bannon, Larry Solov, and Joel Pollak will advance his mission with courage and integrity.

Breitbart’s most immediate mission was the belated vetting of Barack Obama. This obviously is an issue very near and dear to my heart.

During the ’08 campaign, the same media that reported breathlessly about an old used tanning bed I purchased to get some sun during the dark Alaskan winter, couldn’t be bothered to investigate Barack Obama’s associations, statements or even his voting record as a state senator. Suntans and what I wore on the campaign trail were more important than Obama’s political background. Unbelievable.

But when you come to think of it, the media didn’t investigate either of our actual political records very closely.  More

Palin: Mark Levin’s “Ameritopia” Explains How We Got In the Mess We’re In

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 15, 2012

Posted to Sarah Palin’s Facebook page earlier this evening:

Please click here to listen to Mark Levin’s excellent comments at the Reagan Library last week about his great new book “Ameritopia.” His wisdom is needed now more than ever.

Consider, for example, the news today about the Congressional Budget Office’s report on Obamacare. Remember when President Obama promised us that under Obamacare if you like your current health care coverage you can keep it? Well, that turns out to be another “you lie” moment. According to the CBO’s new report, as many as 20 million Americans could lose their employer-provided health insurance because of Obamacare.

Couple this latest revelation with the news that Obamacare’s estimated ten year cost is now double the original projection and the fact that Obamacare puts an unelected panel of faceless bureaucrats in charge of cutting Medicare spending to keep costs down (i.e. making life and death rationing decisions about your coverage – decisions which will make it more likely that doctors and hospitals will simply decide not to provide certain procedures because Medicare won’t cover them or will pay too little for them).

Taken all together, you will see that everything we told you about this “mother of all unfunded mandates” is true. If we let Obamacare stand, it will ultimately bankrupt us and rob us of our liberty in a hundred different ways. Repealing Obamacare must be a central theme of the coming election just as it was during the 2010 midterms.

But step back for a moment and ask yourself how our great republic got to this situation where Obamacare was even proposed. Ask how our brave troops fighting so far from home could find themselves in a war that seems so unfocused and without end. How did we get so far removed from our foundational belief in limited Constitutional governance and the great maxim of “Peace Through Strength”? Listen to Mark Levin and read his “Ameritopia” to open your eyes about the roots of the problems we face today.

Political March Madness

Posted by Adrienne Ross on March 13, 2012

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Those of us who love and follow the game of basketball have a special appreciation for this time of year. March Madness, baby! But the NCAA tournament hasn’t even started, and madness is already running rampant–in the political world, that is. All around the country, March will work its magic, uniting teams and clarifying goals, bringing out the best in players and igniting fans. Meanwhile, the current political madness is working a whole different kind of magic.

March began with the sad news of the death of conservative warrior Andrew Breitbart who unexpectedly departed this life on the first day of the month. He was just about to share with the world some videos that further reveal President Obama’s penchant for choosing some rather–shall we say?–questionable characters to run around with. Breitbart was just about to relaunch his website. In the blink of an eye, he was gone. That was the start of the unforeseen madness, a loss many are still struggling to wrap their brains around. He left behind a wife, four children, and an inspired army of patriots who are determined to take up the mantle. His work continues.

Then, just a couple days into March, the Sandra Fluke controversy grew wings and liberals grew outraged–selectively, of course–at comments Rush Limbaugh made concerning the law student’s baffling desire to have others pay for her desires. Rush subsequently apologized, but of course that wasn’t enough for liberals. As usual, they wanted to use the situation for political gain. Even the President got involved, invoking his daughters. Never mind the fact that people on his side of the aisle have said things so vile that his daughters wouldn’t be able to attend a movie that includes language liberals use to describe conservatives. The hypocrisy of the left is maddening, and we’ve come to expect it. However, we should be able to expect more from the President of the United States. The fact that we do not have a President who will preside fairly over all people, but only over those who fall into his ideological bubble, speaks volumes about the insanity of the time in which we live, a time when partisanship trumps all, when politicians’ mouths move in two different directions, or not at all–as in times that they choose to remain silent when they actually ought to speak.

For example, what we get from members of Congress is a refusal to condemn misogynist Bill Maher who repeatedly demeans Governor Palin, the man who has said things that even I’m not, as they say, a mature enough audience to listen to, and may I never be so mature. What we get from our President, too, is a refusal to answer a question a journalist poses about a million dollar donation Maher made to his campaign. The President–the concerned father that he is–has no problem accepting what Governor Palin has called “dirty money.” And with all his talk about civility, he still has yet to call out the numerous vulgar, sexist comments made about Governor Palin and other conservative women. What does he do instead? He calls Sandra Fluke to demonstrate his support for her. Really?

Madness is definitely running rampant when the President’s campaign puts out a video attacking Governor Palin, twisting her words to make her appear to be a dangerous racist. Their methods bring me back to a time in the not too distant past when Katie Couric and her team spliced and diced tape to create a false image of Governor Palin. But Couric has nothing on Obama’s people; they’re actually using their dishonest video as a fundraiser to make more dirty money. I call it such because it’s being collected on a knowingly false premise. We could spend all day on the ridiculosity of a President targeting a private citizen–an irrelevant one at that, so he would have us believe. This irrelevant woman somehow manages to provoke the most powerful man in the free world to hold brainstorming sessions to figure out how to handle her influence. And for those who say it’s Obama for America, not the President himself, who is responsible for this, let’s be real. Does anyone really think he doesn’t have his hands all up and through what gets circulated in the name of his re-election?

Let’s not forget that in the spirit of intense competition affiliated with the madness of March, HBO strategically planned the release date of Game Change, which they hoped would be a game changer itself. They expected Governor Palin to be knee-deep in a presidential campaign now, and they had just the thing to cut her down–a movie composed of a plethora of both flagrant fouls and bad calls by officials on the take. They clearly hadn’t imagined that she was being genuine when she repeatedly said she didn’t need a title to make a difference. Now it’s the fourth quarter in this game of politics President Obama and his surrogates have been playing, and they know the clock is winding down. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I suppose. However, their attempts to send Governor Palin limping to the bench, never to re-emerge, have fallen flat and will continue to fall flat. If they haven’t figured that out yet, I recommend they take note of her high school championship basketball game in March of 1982 when, injured, the Wasilla Warrior nailed the shot that secured the state championship for her team. It’s 2012, but she’s still a warrior, and this is March after all.

HBO’s sensationalism might appeal to those hungry for more of the same lame anti-Palin propaganda, but everyone with a modicum of common sense knows that the same person who turned her hometown into the fastest growing business city in Alaska, defeated a big-name incumbent in her run for governor of the largest state, possessed an approval rating of nearly 90 percent, exposed corruption, negotiated the largest private sector infrastructure project in North American history, became the first woman on the Republican ticket, energized the Party, and carried Senator McCain farther than he could have possibly gone without her, all while raising a wide-ranging family, could not possibly be the same individual Julianne Moore portrays. Furthermore, why would anyone believe sources who are too afraid to reveal their identities when sources close to the Governor, people with real names and identifiable faces, have shot the movie down?

As smart as liberals purport to be, enveloped in their ivy league world of academia, they sure can’t put two and two together, and they certainly don’t think the rest of us can. I’m just one of those bitter clingers, so excuse me as I steal a line from Scripture to address them: “Much learning doth make thee mad.”

March has always brought basketball enthusiasts a yearning for more and more madness. We make predictions, fill out brackets, and enjoy the ride. We experience the proverbial thrill of victory and the agony of defeat–and we love every minute of it. The political madness this March has been a horse of different color, however. And lest I be blamed for that old-fashioned Republican “racism” (Yes, even black conservatives get accused of being racist against the President), let me help ease liberals’ race-card-playing minds: I’m speaking metaphorically, okay? It’s that season, and folks have lost their minds, sure enough. It leaves rational people pondering what April might bring. Considering what liberals have done with the concept of March Madness, there’s no telling what they might attempt with April Fools’ Day.

Palin: Let’s Talk About the Real Issues, Mr. President

Posted by Jackie Siciliano on March 12, 2012

Fort Wasilla 1  –  Whitehouse 0

Moments ago, Sarah Palin posted a scorching note to her Facebook page that’s directed at President Obama and his failed policies.

From Sarah Palin’s Facebook page:

The far Left continues to believe American voters are not smart enough to grasp the diversionary tactics it employs to distract us from the issues our President just doesn’t want to talk about – issues that affect us all every day and must be addressed.

Exhibit A in these diversionary tactics is an absurd new attack ad President Obama has released taking my comments out of context. I’m not running for any office, but I’m more than happy to accept the dubious honor of being Barack Obama’s “enemy of the week” if that includes the opportunity to debate him on the issues Americans are actually concerned about. (Remember when I said you don’t need a title to make a difference?)

Just off the top of my head, a few of these concerning issues include: a debt crisis that has us hurdling towards a Greek-style collapse, entitlement programs going bankrupt, a credit downgrade for the first time in our history, a government takeover of the health care industry that makes care more expensive and puts a rationing panel of faceless bureaucrats between you and your doctor (aka a “death panel”), $4 and $5 gas at the pump exacerbated by an anti-drilling agenda that rejects good paying energy sector jobs and makes us more dependent on dangerous foreign regimes, a war in Afghanistan that seems unfocused and unending, a global presidential apology tour that’s made us look feeble and ridiculous, a housing market in the tank, the longest streak of high unemployment since World War II, private-sector job creators and industry strangled by burdensome regulations and an out-of-control Obama EPA, an attack on the Constitutional protection of religious liberty, an attack on private industry in right-to-work states, crony capitalism run amok in an administration in bed with their favored cronies to the detriment of genuine free market capitalism, green energy pay-to-play kickbacks to Obama campaign donors, and a Justice Department still stonewalling on a bungled operation that armed violent Mexican drug lords and led to the deaths of hundreds of innocent people.  More

Sen. McCain Responds to Summons & Takes Stand for Gov. Palin

Posted by Adrienne Ross on March 12, 2012

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

In solidarity with Governor Palin’s supporters and others who simply care about truth, I again watched The Undefeated tonight as it premiered on REELZChannel. At the end of the documentary, the late Andrew Breitbart says several times, “I see [spineless people].” He was referring to men in the GOP who sit idly by–saying nothing, doing nothing, and obviously feeling nothing–while Governor Palin is relentlessly attacked, time and time again, in the most degrading ways. Yes, he called them [spineless].

Recently, I wrote an article called “Summoning Senator McCain” in which I called on the 2008 Republican presidential nominee to take a stand and speak out against HBO’s Game Change. The Senator had already said he wouldn’t watch it, and he’s said in the past that he thinks highly of Governor Palin, but I wanted more from him, particularly about this hit piece. Today, Senator McCain appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. Having voiced my disappointment that he has not said enough, I feel it’s only right that I acknowledge his taking a stronger stand today than I have previously witnessed.

When asked if he watched Game Change on HBO last night, the Senator said he did not because it was “based on a book that is completely biased and with unattributed quotes.” He went on to say that even in the rough and tumble world of politics, he doesn’t understand “why there continues to be such assaults on a good and decent person,” speaking of Governor Palin. Concerning the campaign, he stated what we could all easily see: Governor Palin was “a person whose nomination energized our campaign.”

Without hesitation, Senator McCain said that the part of the movie that shows him telling Steve Schmidt to “find me a woman” to be an election game changer was a lie. “Of course not,” he responded when asked if he ever said that. However, he followed that up by attesting to the qualifications and accomplishments of his former running mate, which contradicts the false narrative the movie promotes–that the Governor is unintelligent and incompetent.

Senator McCain states:

I thought that she was the best qualified person.

She was a very effective and successful governor.

In other words, the Senator wanted Governor Palin to share the ticket with him because she was the best person for the job.

Too many have done nothing while an accomplished and politically savvy individual has been used as a punching bag–and I’m not even talking about those on the left. The right has also been complicit. Their despicable display of cowardice earned them the title of [spineless], according to Andrew Breitbart, and they have to look themselves in the mirror for their refusal to defend someone who so readily defends our country.

As for Senator McCain, regardless of whether we agree or disagree with his policies or with how he’s handled things thus far, I do respect that he did the right thing today by defending Governor Palin’s honor and achievements, acknowledging that Game Change is biased and untrue, and knocking down his former staff members who have chosen to spew lies rather than assume responsibility for their own shortcomings.

The conversation about Game Change begins at 9:13 of the video.

Here is the article she was referring to:

PALIN DOC ‘THE UNDEFEATED’ AIRS TONIGHT ON REELZCHANNEL

by HOLLY WOODLAND

The mainstream media spent the last three-plus years distorting the accomplishments of Gov. Sarah Palin.

Now, viewers can see why Palin became both a successful governor and the toast of the Tea Party movement.

“The Undefeated,” director Stephen Bannon’s look at the dramatic rise of the former Wasilla, Ala. mayor, makes its broadcast premiere at 8 p.m. tonight on ReelzChannel. The film will be replayed at 11 p.m. EST.

Bannon did not interview Palin directly for the documentary, but he uses the historical record to show her political career and impact on the country’s national dialogue. Among those singing Palin’s praises are Andrew Breitbart, Mark Levin and Tammy Bruce.

The film comes on the heels of HBO’s Palin hit piece “Game Change” which aired last night on the pay cable network.

Curzon: ‘Game Change’ Movie Is A Character Assassination of Sarah Palin

Posted by Sarah Palin Web Brigade on March 9, 2012

Game on, Game Change!

by LaDonna Hale Curzon (reprinted with permission)

Last night, I attended the premiere of HBO’s movie Game Change in Washington, D.C. at the Newseum. Unlike the New York screening, where guests were feted with a sit-down dinner at the Four Seasons, Washington guests had to make do with just a standing-only reception.

The movie’s stars Julianne Moore, Tom Hanks and other cast members and production executives, in true Hollywood fashion, walked past a mob of reporters but oddly enough, the red carpet was actually blue, perhaps a nod to the blue state/red state distinction. It was, in essence, Hollywood on the Potomac.

In January, I was invited to this premiere by Lisa Kline, who was Gov. Palin’s stylist during the Republican National Convention that led to the over-hyped, so-called “wardrobe controversy.” Lisa vindicated Gov. Palin and proved the wild allegations to be false in a 2010 interview that she had with me on Sarah Palin Radio. Of course, the lamestream media completely ignored that interview and, in doing so, ignored the truth as well. So what’s new?

Lisa is portrayed in the movie which is why she was invited to the premiere. I interviewed Lisa yesterday on Sarah Palin Radio and she pointed out several falsehoods in the movie. She was interviewed by the film’s screenwriter Danny Strong prior to his writing the screenplay. She explicitly told him that it was serious business with Gov. Palin regarding the wardrobe run-through. He chose to ignore his own “research” and made Gov. Palin appear giddy during the wardrobe scenes. Lisa also said that Gov. Palin never mispronounced Jimmy Choo. In fact, it never happened. No matter. That’s Hollywood, the land of make-believe.

Seeing friends handing out SarahPAC’s Game Change “showbill” outside the Newseum gave me courage to enter the lion’s den. Being so deep behind enemy lines was nerve-wracking, to say the least, but I could easily tell who was from Hollywood. They were the people that weren’t eating and air-kissing one another.

Morning Joe Scarborough created a buzz at the reception working the room like the seasoned politician that he is. Also making the rounds was PBS NewsHour correspondent Gwen Ifil, who was portrayed in the movie. She was the moderator in the vice presidential debate that Gov. Palin won against Joe Biden. She was wearing the same light, blue jacket that she wore in the debate and movie. Now that’s what I call getting a lot of mileage out of a jacket.

When I saw Danny Strong, the film’s screenwriter, sitting one row in front of me, I attempted to ask him how much of the movie was actually based on fact since there are no named sources in either the movie or book but he pretended not to hear me and quickly looked away.

It appears that Danny, who got his start “acting” in Buffy the Vampire Slayer now fancies himself as Danny the Sarah Palin Slayer. Dream on Danny boy.

Game Change screenwriter Danny Strong in a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode.

Sitting in the row behind me was Mr. Sell-out himself Steve Schmidt. He did not look happy. I didn’t see him crack a smile once not even when he was introduced to the audience by Tom Hanks. As far as evil goes, he certainly looks the part.

As for the movie, I ask only this: Who’s got whom in the cross hairs?

This HBO hit piece that masquerades as “a fair portrayal of the 2008 election” is nothing short of a character assassination of Gov. Palin. The idea that Gov. Palin seriously told Schmidt, “I sure don’t want to go back to Alaska,” is as ludicrous as Nicole Wallace’s sobbing scene crying that she couldn’t vote for the ticket she had worked so hard for. Spare me please.

And the scenes where racial slurs are hurled at McCain-Palin events once again raises its ugly head egged on by the left despite the fact that this never happened and has been proven false time and again. No matter. The left hopes that if they continue lying, it will eventually be accepted as the truth.

Toward the end of the movie, Schmidt lies to Gov. Palin when he states that no vice presidential candidate has given a concession speech. That’s just a bald-face lie, as bald as Schmidt’s vein-popping head.

There were some memorable lines in the movie like “Sarah is a transformative figure like Ronald Reagan,” and the moving woman-on-the-street interview praising Gov. Palin, “She talks to me and nobody talks to me.” Certain parts of the film, where you’d suspect laughter from the audience, fell flat. One could feel the audience getting tired of the constant ridicule heaped on Gov. Palin. It wasn’t funny, it was pathetic.

The left ought to be ashamed for not only producing but celebrating what amounts to a political hit job. But the left, as we all know too well, knows no shame. The left only knows hatred.

Game Change screenwriter Danny Strong.

After the screening, I, like most of the women in the audience, made a beeline to the lady’s room where I overheard a telling conversation between two, young women. They both agreed that after watching Game Change, they now have more respect for Gov. Palin.

Hollywood will most likely give this farce of a movie some awards. The American public, however, will not be fooled by the left’s obvious tactics. Their gig is up.

A Reminder from SarahPAC: “The Undefeated” Television Premier

Posted by Sarah Palin Web Brigade on March 9, 2012
