Would Palin Have Let Romney Have A Pass In N.Hampshire Debate Like The Silent Five? Heck NO!
Posted by M.Joseph Sheppard At Palin4President2016 on January 8, 2012
The media, post the New Hampshire debates have rolled over and let Romney tickle their collective tummies assigning him the nomination. Frankly, who could blame them after the sad and sorrowful “performance” by the silent four other “candidates.”
These are just a few article from REAL CLEAR POLITICS which crown Romney and gleefully or in sorrow discuss how Romney didn’t have glove laid on him whilst the others attacked each other. So pathetic and embarrassing.
Even staunch Santorum defender Stacy McCain is “feeling kind of cranky tonight”
“Romney Coasts as others walk” Washington Post
“Romney lays low in GOP debate”
“GOP debate see few swings at Romney”
Of course the establishment wants Romney, the liberal media want Romney so they can unleash on him in due course. The rank and file don’t want Romney but sadly the opposition to him is not only dividing the non-Romney vote but instead of taking the game to him they are attacking and destroying each other.
Whether that is in the belief they will get the VP nod, or poor politics who knows, what is known is that this cowardice is a sad and sorry spectacle. I am particularly saddened at the spectacle of Gingrich not taking the fight to Romney on the debate stage.
Now here is a question for conservatives;
COULD YOU IMAGINE PALIN HOLDING BACK AND LETTING ROMNEY HAVE A FREE RUN AT THE NOMINATION?
The Palin who just said about Gingrich that you can’t win playing defense all the time?
If the GOP lets Romney get the nomination, if the other candidates roll over and let him have a clear run at it in the name of, who knows what “party unity”? Then they deserve to lose-the weak candidates and the GOP nominee. One other thing is certain, Palin the fighter,
towers above these political midgets:
I don’t necessarily agree with everything Donnie Johnston, at Fredericksburg.com, writes. However his basic conclusion, that Governor Palin stands head and shoulders over the pathetic slate of candidates vying for the GOP nomination, is unassailable.

Hey Joseph,
When Sarah dropped out I took up the cause for Newt, the obvious best choice of those remaining. However…
The Republican field is destroying itself. They are killing each other. I’ve never seen anything like this, and I’ve been around.
The storm clouds are assembling and it’s time to bring those clouds together. Obama must be beaten. This republican field needs to be swept aside. There has never in history, in my humble opinion, more ripe for a political tsunami than right now. It’s time for a wave, and Sarah Palin is the one to ride this wave.
The Iowa write-in effort was good, because it helped keep people aware of Sarah’s strong presence. Now it’s time for the next step. The only leader we have capable of bringing all the warlords together for the upcoming battle for America is Sarah.

We must keep praying and speaking out. I hope for our country’s sake that God leads Sarah to run.

Yours was the first mention of the write-in campaign for Palin in Iowa that I have seen to date!! I’m surprised non of the other Palin bloggers mentioned it – and yet it was talked about A LOT just prior to that final weekend and, in fact, on Caucus day itself. Was there significant turnout? How many write-in votes did she receive? And why no mention of it?
Well, it’s past history now – and we can only look forward to better days. Watching Fox News coverage of NH last night was almost depressing. Where’s the spark? Where’s any sign of life (outside the ballrooms where the candidates addressed their faithful)?

I’m even more depressed than I was when she made her (inexplicable) decision Oct. 5; ’cause if she truly was hoping to get behind one of the stronger Conservative candidates, that boat has sailed – and she either endorses Romney, doesn’t endorse Romney or (God, please let this be the alternative!) she jumps in herself! At this point, I’d appreciate a truly hard-fought battle between a REAL Conservative and Odumbo – even if, on Nov. 6, we lost. At least, the battle lines would have been drawn and a TRUE test of principles would have been waged! I simply cannot see Palin having any sort of impact outside of that alternative – ’cause even endorsing Romney would just make her a Party hack, something she has never been (at least, to date).
