I was there at the event and found the woman as refreshing and honest. I told my friends that out of all the candidates in 2008, she was the only one qualified to be President(yes she was more qualified than McCain!!). I would love to see her run and chose me as her running mate!!No need for secret service, no vacations, no pension. Just a leave of absence from my place of employment and a wage equal what I am making now! Four to eight years we leave it up to the next set of patriots to fill the vacancy. THERE IS NO NEED FOR PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS!!LET ORDINARY PEOPLE RUN OUR REDUCED GOVERNMENT AND SEE REAL CHANGE!!

I tried to post a comment a few hours ago on your other post – the one where you had that heart-stopping moment when you had a hug and a photo with Gov. Palin!! – but the server was down at the time, so I’ll go back and try to post my happy reaction there again.
Meantime, the photos here are just wonderful and heart-warming to the core!! Everyone conveys a moment of hope and joy in ALL her gazillions of admirers! You have a real knack, Ron, for capturing good stuff on the camera!! And one of the best is that one made by space aliens in the field, with Palin’s name boldly and significantly carved into it! How did you lure them from the mother ship to inbed such a magnificent symbol?!?

Governor Palin seems very much the nonconventional candidate. I enjoy that about the lady and believe we could do a heck of a lot worse than a President Palin … an probably not a heck of a lot better.
