Newspapers “Making It Up” Yet Again “Bristol Bans Sarah From Arizona House”

Posted by M.Joseph Sheppard At Palin4President2016 on April 27, 2011

The Daily Mail, quoting The National Enquirer-two really really reliable sources – headline this absolute load of trash story:

“Back off mom! Newly-liberal Bristol Palin ‘bans controlling mother Sarah from her home’ – because she’s too Republican.

The “story” includes such trash as:

If Sarah doesn’t accept her, she isn’t welcome in her home.”
“The insider said: ‘Bristol flat out told her that she needs to back off. She knows the only way that Sarah will stop being to controlling is to ban her from her home – because it would kill her not to get to see Tripp.”

And numerous other knee-slappers-made up “quotes” hearsay and downright lies.

Here is what someone who actually lives in Maricopa (Bristols home town) has to say:

“This is totally not true. I live in the town of Maricopa where Bristol now lives. Just last night, one of my friends saw Sarah on the television and recognized the park where she was giving the interview. it was here in Maricopa. Her and her kids went to the park and watched her finish the interview and then met her. They took pictures with her as well. Sarah is staying with Bristol right now. If this was story was true then why would Sarah be here in Maricopa. This is a very small town and we do not have any hotels out here at all. The next closest town is 17 miles away. I wish you would get all of your facts straight before you print things that are not true”

Confident Sarah Palin Continues To Pound Barack Obama “On The Record”

Posted by Gary P Jackson on April 27, 2011

By Gary P Jackson

On the heels of her beat down via Facebook, on Tuesday morning, Sarah Palin went On The Record with Greta Van Susteren on Tuesday night, where she continued to whip Obama like a rented mule.

Right out of the gate Greta highlighted one of Sarah’s comments from the earlier Facebook post:

It’s unbelievable to me that you spent last week in campaign mode, gallivanting around the country to start raising the billion dollars for your reelection bid that is still 19 months away “while Rome burns.” Our economy is in the tank; jobs are as scarce as ever; you’re asking Congress to let you incur even more unsustainable, immoral, freedom-stealing government debt; and many of our brave men and women in uniform are shaking their heads in disbelief over your befuddled military directions.

Yet instead of working with Congress and a wise multitude of advisers to fix some problems, you choose all this campaigning, already? As was recently asked: When do you ever just “roll up your sleeves, unplug the teleprompter” and do the job of governing and administrating for which voters hired you?

After hammering Obama for being in campaign mode, and trying to raise $1 billion for an election that is [gulp] 19 months away, instead of focusing on the nation’s challenges, she starts in on high gasoline prices, Libya [and Obama’s incoherent foreign policy in general] and more.

Sarah reminds us we can’t afford to have the nation’s Commander-in-Chief, our CEO, in campaign mode while “Rome burns“!

Sarah goes on to say it’s almost like Obama can’t be bothered by all of these issues of the day because he’s too busy either running for re-election, playing golf, or going on holiday!

She goes on to say, if that’s the case, the best thing is for government to just get out of the way! Stop with the insane regulations, quantitative easing [printing money, monetizing the debt], coming up with more “stimulus plans” and other nonsense, and just let private businesses and the free market do it’s thing!

Sarah bluntly states nothing is going to change until Obama is out of office.

This is a wonderful interview. Sarah Palin is proving she is a confident stateswoman, and very much at ease talking about issues and policy. This folks, is what a leader looks and sounds like. I know it’s been a while since most have seen or heard one, which is why I point this out.

There is also a twinkle in Sarah’s eyes. She’s a warrior, but a happy one. She reminds me so much of the great Ronald Reagan. He was one tough hombre, but he was always happy and optimistic as well.

Sarah comes off the exact same way. Both in this interview, as well as her Facebook smack-down. She’s tough, but not mean, and uses a fair bit of sarcasm and wit to go along with the beating she’s giving Obama.

The entire interview is powerful, insightful, and even a bit of fun.

At one point she off-handedly mentions Bill Ayers and the fact that he “allegedly” wrote Obama’s first book. She did this as she was taking a shot at Trump and others who were wasting time on nonsensical issues, while REAL issues were being ignored.

She points out the media is loving these distractions, as is the Obama regime.

As we have noted before, the “birther” issue helps Obama more than it hurts him. What she’s saying is: Now that Trump has everyone’s attention, he needs to be talking about substantive issues, something he is not doing.

This all gets back to what she told Sean Hannity last week, when she said it was way too early for her, or anyone else to be running for President. Too many more important issues to be focused on, rather than wasting time gearing up for 2012 and an election that is still almost 2 years away.

Leadership vs politics.

Sarah also gets a nice little shot in at Katie Couric at the end of the interview. Dee-licious!

Enjoy.

Palin calls for decisive leadership in Libya

Posted by loricalabrese on April 27, 2011

In her speech in Wisconsin, Palin called out Obama, saying “What better place than the state that hosts the Super Bowl champs to call out the liberal left and let them know: Mr. President, game on!”

Well, Palin certainly meant it and took to Facebook on Tuesday and appeared on ‘On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren’ Tuesday night with a blistering question to the president:

“When do you ever just “roll up your sleeves, unplug the teleprompter” and do the job of governing and administrating for which voters hired you?” Palin asked.

On FOX News’ ‘On the Record with Greta Van Susteren,’ Palin pointed out how Obama spent last week in campaign mode trying to raise his billion dollars for his reelection bid which is still 19 months away instead of focusing on the challenges currently facing America such as escalating gas prices, and the intervention in Libya.

Palin continued with her tough words for the president saying, “the perception he’s giving Americans is that he almost can’t be bothered with the issues facing the rest of us.”

Palin stressed that Obama must make up his mind on the intervention in Libya and said, “We cannot be the world’s ATM.”

Palin wrote on Facebook, “At this point, to avoid further mission creep and involvement in a third war – one we certainly can’t afford – you need to step up and justify our Libyan involvement, or Americans are going to demand you pull out. Simply put, what are we doing there? You’ve put us in a strategic no man’s land. If Gaddafi’s got to go, then tell NATO our continued participation hinges on this: We strike hard and Gaddafi will be gone. If, as you and your spokesmen suggest, we’re not to tell Libya what to do when it comes to that country’s leadership, and if you can’t explain to Americans why we’re willing to protect Libyan resources and civilians but not Syria’s, Yemen’s, Bahrain’s, Egypt’s, Israel’s, etc., then there is no justification for U.S. human and fiscal resources to be spent.”

But Palin didn’t stop there.

“I know, I know, granted you will be even busier very soon,” Palin wrote. “After all, golf season kicks into high gear shortly. NBA and NHL brackets await. Summer vacations and that all-consuming campaign whistle stop tour will no doubt slam you. But I would ask, while the rest of us are also busy working, saving, planning ahead, fighting to protect our Constitution, and trying to keep up with where and why you’re spending our Department of Defense funds – I’d ask that you find time to tell Americans the truth about the state of our union and what you are doing to find solutions to our challenges. Please start with explaining Libya.”

Wonkette, Attacker Of Disabled Children, Has Advertisers: Harper Collins/Amazon/Barnes&Noble

Posted by M.Joseph Sheppard At Palin4President2016 on April 27, 2011

Wonkette, the site which ran the now infamous attack on Sarah Palins disadvantaged child Trig, has lost 43 advertisers, but appears to still have an advert up from a major company.

As is well known a storm of protest against this execrable site and its equally obnoxious personnel found a massive campaign spontaneously built up to contact Wonkette’s advertisers with the simple question-do you wish to advertise on a site that attacks disabled children?

The end result was, that company after company pulled their adverts. However it appears that the publishing company Harper Collins has a book advertised on the Wonkette site, which advert also refers prospective purchasers to either the Amazon or Barnes&Noble on-line sites.

It would be nothing short of amazing if  long established firms, such as these three, which have a reputation for ethics, would wish to be associated with such a site as Wonkette. No doubt they might perceive they have a prospective customer base amongst the immature and juvenile minded who inhabit that site, but surely their reputation is worth more than the disgrace that might cling to them by this poor association.

It would not be a surprise if the three firms were the recipients of demands to cease their sponsorship from outraged parents of handicapped children and decent people everywhere.
