Just heard from Wausau Tea Party director, Meg Ellefson that Sarah Palin will be speaking at this Saturday’s Tea Party Rally in Madison.Wisconsin
The rally officially starts at 12:00 pm.
This is significant on a number of levels;
Palin was the only leading potential candidate who had the guts to endorse Judge Prosser in the contentious Wisconsin Supreme Court election against massive union/Dem support. It may be that her endorsement contributed significantly to Prosser’s apparent 7000 vote win (the margin is usually much higher).
Her appearance shows where here heart is-nothing has changed, she believes in the values of the Tea Party whether or not other candidates distance themselves from that group
After a period of quiescence she is still very much in the running to run-even though the Beltway chattering class have written her off. I have declared elsewhere that she will declare in June and am more than confident that will be the case.

Because AOL is my Internet server – and it’s now allied with that crappy HuffPo slanted news outfit – I have to read leftist drivel from time to time. Just yesterday they featured the headline, “Is Sarah Palin a Has Been?” (or “washed up?”) – and then proceeded to dismiss her (in their putrid dreams, of course!). Just because she’s out of the limelight as she prepares her campaign of “shock & awe!” these dimwits assume that she’s going away and “her negatives outweigh her positives.” Again, IN THEIR DREAMS!!
Tomorrow (Friday) I’m very excited: I’m undertaking my first bit of pro-Palin “action” at a local Tea Party – wearing a Palin pin, sporting a Palin t-shirt (if it doesn’t make me look fat…) and passing out Palin literature (with the “Get Your Grrrr On!” logo & website (for Organizing for Palin/O4P). I’ve been sort of “deputized” as the local rep by a very enthusiastic regional rep in LA – and I’m looking forward to meeting the folks (it’ll be my 2nd Tea Party here!) and gauging the interest for Palin. My guess is that the reception’ll be friendly at least and wildly enthusiastic at best!! Whoopee!!
