Tucson shooting fears reason event featuring Sarah Palin canceled

As I posted on another site, there is something very fishy about this – a rather vague excuse was given, etc. “Negative rhetoric” and “fear of another Tucscon” – Bull crap!! I’ve lost respect for a foundation (the Pacheco Foundation) that I’d hever heard of before this contretemps – UNLESS this was “orchestrated” in order to free up Palin to appear at that important May 2 GOP event.
Anyway you look at it, the whole thing stinks – especially when Palin is willing to appear and raise money for a worthy cause near & dear to her heart (and bring her own substantial security as well!). I’d love to know what REALLY triggered this cancellation; but, failing that, I hope & pray that this cancellation is the exception to the rule. They could do a LOT worse that get someone as passionate and gifted as Sarah Palin to help with their cause!
