‘Helping Haiti’ – OTR One-Hour Special Tonight

Posted by Dr. Fay on December 23, 2010

Greta van Susteren is showing exclusive footage shot during her trip to Haiti with Franklin Graham and the Palins in a one-hour On the Record special tonight.  Here is what she says about the show on Gretawire:

Tonight at 10pm. an extraordinary OTR !   You go to HAITI with us (and with Reverend Franklin Graham and Gov Sarah Palin and Todd Palin and Bristol Palin.)

There are many reasons why I say OTR at 10pm tonight is like no other OTR, but one reason is because the entire hour was shot by OTR producer Justin Wells and me.   Neither of us is a professional videographer by any means (you may have to turn  your head sideways at parts of the video so that it is straight…and the video does shake) but you will get a really good idea of what is happening in Haiti.  We wanted to make sure you saw a lot and this was our best way to do it.

I suspect a few things…one is that you will feel like YOU are in Haiti with us.   I also think you will react to this hour in Haiti in two very different ways — in some parts you will be revolted by the horrible conditions in Haiti and in other parts you will be absolutely inspired by the extraordinary help by others.
