Bristol and Mark Danced a Beautiful Waltz on Week 7 DWTS

Posted by Dr. Fay on November 2, 2010

Bristol and Mark danced the Viennese Waltz beautifully last night on Week 7 of Dancing with the Stars and earned three 8’s and a 9 for a total individual score of 33/40, their highest yet this season.

They also danced the cha-cha-cha in the Team Christi group dance, which was directed by one of Mark’s previous DWTS partners, Olympics gold medalist Khristi Yamaguchi.   Team Khristi received a score of 24/30, which was added to each of the contestants’ individual score.   This gave Bristol and Mark a combined score of  57/70, which was the lowest on the leaderboard.

For all the scores for Week 7, see the Week 7 episode guide on ABC.  Also visit Bristol and Mark’s Team Ballin page and leave a comment supporting them.  Bristol’s DWTS page can be found here.  Mark’s DWTS page can be found here.

Bristol and Mark’s fans wait anxiously for the results on tonight’s show.  According to the VOTING — HOW IT WORKS page on the ABC website, each couple’s percentage of the total public vote is added to their percentage of the total points awarded by the judges for a particular night to determine who stays on in the competition.   Hopefully, Bristol and Mark’s superb performance and our support will help carry them on to Week 8 DWTS competition.  Keep tuned!

Palin: Put our government back on the side of the people

Posted by loricalabrese on November 2, 2010

A day before Election Day, Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page to remind everyone about March 21st, the day the Pelosi Congress cast its vote for Obamacare.

Palin said, “The enduring image of that day is one of Congressional Democrats arrogantly dismissing the pleas of thousands of Americans gathered outside the Capitol Building begging them not to inflict this disastrous bill on us.”

Palin reminded her followers that this bill wasn’t about health care reform.

“It was about control and government mandates and fines for not purchasing a government-approved insurance plan,” Palin said. “The bill jeopardizes the very thing it was supposed to reform. Every day we hear about doctors leaving the Medicare system; increased premiums with talk of price controls; rationing becoming standard practice; and panels of faceless bureaucrats deciding which categories of treatment are worthy of funding based on efficiency calculations (which I called a “death panel”).”

Palin wants everyone to remember that day because as the title of her post states, “Tomorrow is Freedom Day!”

“They voted against our will that day,” Palin said. “Tomorrow it’s our turn to vote against them and put our government back on the side of the people. This is our chance to rebuke their big government power grab, reject their unwanted “fundamental transformation” of America, and start the process of repealing this bill before it buries us under a mountain of debt. So let’s fire Pelosi, retire Reid, and send all those who were responsible for that disgraceful bill a message that America is still about “We the People.”
