Spelling Your Own Name Correctly Helps for a Write-In

Posted by Ron Devito on September 21, 2010

Mel Bryant, an editor of Conservatives4Palin, recovered a rather embarrassing ad campaign for Lisa Murkowski that had to be done over again. Her campaign misspelled her last name in their first ad for her futile write-in bid.

The above photo is a frame grab, made by Ben Smith of Politico from a 1:14 video ad and appears from 1:10 to 1:14 in the video.

Lisa Murkowski conceded to Joe Miller, then initiated this desperate bid to retain her power. The misspelling of her own name for a write-in campaign is perhaps a sign that her campaign is ill-conceived and ill-founded.

Editor’s Note:  See Governor Palin’s memorable tweet.
