Once Again Sarah Palin Has To Tell Obama To Get Spending Priorities Straight Concerning Pay Cuts For Military

Posted by Gary P Jackson on May 11, 2010

Priorities,priorities- Keep eye on PresObama’s soldier pay decrease in midst of overspending elsewhere&govt union pay raises. Is he serious?

~Sarah Palin via Twitter

If there is one thing the Obama regime can do to get Mama Grizzly all fired up, it’s screw around with our brave man and women who sacrifice all to secure our Freedom and Liberty!

I am constantly in awe of our military. The fact that so many young men and women would voluntarily put themselves in harm’s way for all of us is simply inspiring.

This isn’t the first time Sarah has had to take the Obama regime on over military pay. Not long after taking office Obama cut off the pensions to the surviving members of the Alaska Territorial Guard, what is now called the Alaska Defense Force, a federally recognized militia, that is part of Homeland Security’s master planning.

The survivors of the Territorial Guard are WWII veterans who fought the Japanese on Alaskan soil. They were never paid for their service to the nation. With a lot of hard work though, pensions were secured for surviving members of the Guard.

With the stroke of a pen, Obama cut them off.

This was the typical passive-aggressive kind of attack Obama has made on Sarah since day one. Obama is that petty. The guy can’t face her head on, so he messes with things she cares about. He’s tried to mess with the AGIA…Sarah’s natural gas pipeline as well. That deal is ongoing.

Of course, at the time, in her role as Governor and Commander-In-Chief of the ADF, Sarah unloaded on Obama, then took strong action, signing into law provisions to pay these WWII heroes through the state until the matter could be resolved to satisfaction, which it finally has.

You can read more about this despicable act by Obama here.

Yesterday Sarah sent the tweet quoted above, and posted a short note on Facebook that simply read:

Soldier pay decreases in the midst of overspending elsewhere and government union

pay raises? Seriously? What are our priorities?

Sarah of course, is right. The Obama regime is growing government at an alarming rate. These government employees are making much more than market rate wages, earning quite a bit more than the rest of the population. Of course, being a Union man through and through, Obama is all for huge pay raises for this group.

The nearly $1 trillion bailout bill has been nothing but a government boondoggle, mostly wasted on pet projects, while experts agree having absolutely no positive effect on the economy.

The fact that we can waste money on nonsensical studies, and pork projects, but cannot find the money to pay those who protect us all from harm is simply unacceptable.

Along with her thoughts, Sarah linked to this from Newsmax:

Outrage: Obama Administration Targets Military for Pay Reductions

President Barack Obama — who came to power with the help of government employee unions across the nation and has lavished on them hundreds of billions in stimulus funds to keep them on federal, state and local payrolls with no strings attached — is moving to cut spending on salaries for military personnel.

This weekend The Washington Post headlined story, “Pentagon Asking Congress to Hold Back on Generous Increases in Troop Pay,” disclosed that the Obama administration is “pleading” with Congress to give military personnel a much smaller increase in pay than lawmakers have proposed.

The Pentagon contends that Congress simply has been too generous with troops during the past decade.

In fact, lawmakers have lavished so much money on troops, according to the Post, that service members are now better compensated than workers in the private sector with similar experience and education levels.

For example, the military brass claims that an average sergeant in the Army with four years of service and one dependent would receive $52,589 in annual compensation, according to the paper. This figure includes basic pay, housing, and subsistence allowances, as well as tax benefits.

Meanwhile, a U.S. postal letter carrier, with no supervisory or hazardous duty, makes approximately $80,000 a year when all benefits are factored in.

Critics of the Obama administration’s efforts to cut soldier’s pay say America’s security has been strengthened by higher pay rates, as qualified veterans are re-enlisting at record rates, reversing the problem the military witnessed just a few years ago.

Any attempt to link rising military personnel costs with shrinking military readiness is total nonsense,” said Thomas J. Tradewell Sr., who leads the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the largest and oldest major combat veterans organization.

If the Defense Department needs a larger budget for personnel programs, then let the VFW carry that message to Congress. Just don’t pin the budget blame on service members and military retirees.

Tradewell’s ire was targeted this past week at Clifford L. Stanley, the Defense undersecretary of personnel and readiness, who said during recent testimony before the personnel subcommittee of the Senate Armed Services Committee: “Rising personnel costs could dramatically affect the readiness of the department.”

What’s hurtful,” said Tradewell, a combat-wounded Vietnam veteran from Sussex, Wis., “is a continuing perception that DoD is more concerned about the budget than they are about recruiting and retaining a professional volunteer force that’s been at war now for more than eight years.”

According to Stanley, last year was the military’s most successful recruiting year since the establishment of the all-volunteer force in 1973.

Although advocates for military families argue that the decade-long spending spree reverses severe cuts that the military suffered in the 1990s, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates and other military brass fear that the spending will threaten security in the years to come. That will mean less money to buy weapons and maintain aging equipment.

On Saturday, Gates told reporters that massive deficits can impact how the president and policy makers confront emerging threats like Iran.

Lawmakers consistently have overruled the Pentagon and mandated more-generous pay raises than requested by both the Bush and Obama administrations. Congress has also rejected attempts by the Pentagon to slow soaring healthcare costs, which Gates told reporters are “eating us alive,” by raising co-pays or premiums.

The military admits the improving compensation for troops is helping retention.

For example, improvements in pay and benefits have made it more likely that sailors will stick around longer, Vice Adm. Mark E. Ferguson III, the chief of naval personnel, told the Post.

A Navy survey last year found that about 60 percent of spouses wanted their sailors to make a career of Navy life, meaning a stint of at least 20 years. In 2005, only about 20 percent of spouses felt the same way.

I think pay was previously a concern, but it’s started to change,” Ferguson said. Congress had been “extremely generous” but rising personnel costs were already influencing what the Navy spends to operate, maintain and modernize its fleet, he added.

The Pentagon wants a pay raise of 1.4 percent for service members next year, an increase based on the Employment Cost Index, which the Labor Department uses to measure private-sector salary increases.

Congress, as it has for the past several years, has indicated it favors a slightly bigger bump, of 1.9 percent.

Although that extra half of a percent may not seem like much, one expert told the Post that it would accrue annually and cost about $3.5 billion over the next decade.

But congressional supporters of the men and women in the Armed Services are questioning why they are being singled out for future pay cutbacks when other government agencies and unions are not.

The U.S. Postal Service, for example, is slated to give letter carriers an increase of 1.9 percent this coming year.

And postal employees are considered to be grossly overpaid compared with their private counterparts. A postal supervisor, for example, can make $70,000 or year or more, plus significant benefits.

Last year, Congress had to help fill a $3.8 billion deficit at the federally backed agency, but there has been no discussion of salary cuts for postal employees. Instead, postal officials have focused on reducing service, including Saturday delivery.

Look, nobody wants to belittle our nation’s letter carriers. If you’ve ever seen these men and women, you know that, for the most part, they work hard and earn their pay. However, other than the occasional loose dog, the postman doesn’t face much danger!

The Obama regime has a real distaste for the military, as do most in the Marxist-democrat party. One remembers talk early on of making the military pay for their own health care, and there are still questions with the new unconstitutional ObamaCare fiasco, as to what may happen.

Meanwhile, as Obama wants to cut the pay of our bravest, Connie Hair, writing for Human Events, reports the non-ending bailouts of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are costing the American taxpayers $7 BILLION a month! Fannie and Freddie are the reasons we are such a financial mess to start with. This Marxist-democrat pet project is nothing but a sink hole for tax payer money to be thrown in. Both agencies should ether be sold off and privatized, or simply eliminated.

Fannie and  Freddie Bailouts Cost Taxpayers $7 Billion per Month

The Senate continues voting today on amendments to the Democrats’ partisan finance “reform” bill while ignoring Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two government-sponsored entities (GSEs) at the heart of the financial meltdown.

Fannie and Freddie still owe taxpayers more than twice as much as the next closest bailout debtor, AIG, and they’re both asking for more taxpayer funds.

Fannie Mae yesterday reported a $13 billion 2010 first quarter loss, begging for another $8.4 billion in bailout funding for a total of $83.6 billion. Last week, Freddie Mac asked for an additional $10.6 billion that would total $61.3 billion.

According to Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), top Republican on the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, both are bleeding bailout dollars.

[Monday’s] announcement that Fannie Mae has again asked taxpayers for more money after reporting a first-quarter loss of more than $13 billion demonstrates that Congress must act to end this taxpayer-funded bailout, which together with the bailout of Freddie Mac, has now cost taxpayers an average of $7 billion per month since it began,” Hensarling said. “I urge the Senate to take-up the provisions of my bill, The GSE Bailout Elimination and Taxpayer Protection Act now included in Senator McCain’s amendment to the Dodd financial regulation bill.

Republican Sens. Richard Shelby (Ala.), Judd Gregg (N.H.) and John McCain (Ariz.) filed the amendment to the Dodd bill last week. It has not yet been scheduled for a vote.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) had a hard time yesterday trying to explain why Fannie and Freddie are not included in the Democrats’ “reform” bill.

I think it’s a fair claim to say that we haven’t done enough to address Fannie and Freddie,” Warner told CNBC. “It is the big elephant in the room that hasn’t been addressed.”

More like the big donkey.

Warner says Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and author of the partisan Democrat bill, promises they’ll come back next year and reform Fannie and Freddie.

He’s put in place an effort to try to come back next year, he won’t be here, but we’ll come back next year and take on Fannie and Freddie in a more thoughtful way,” Warner said.

It’s too bad the sweetheart deals and tanking poll numbers forced Dodd to bow out of this year’s election — so he won’t be around for next year’s big fix.

Perhaps Virginia voters can hold Warner responsible for the credibility of Dodd’s promise in a few years.

If you didn’t already know, Barack Obama was second only to Chris Dodd in the amount of campaign money he has received from Fannie and Freddie.

That we can continue to fund one of the most corrupt, and inept operations in the nation, but can’t pay our bravest, is disturbing, disgusting, and outrageous!

I join Sarah Palin in calling for the Obama regime to stop wasting taxpayer money buying votes and start doing right by our troops!

Governor Palin’s New Book, America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag, on Stands in November

Posted by Adrienne Ross on May 11, 2010

By Adrienne Ross –

Just a few months after Governor Palin’s best-selling book, Going Rogue, hit the stands, HarperCollins announces the release date of her second book.

USA Today reports:

Sarah Palin’s new book has a title, America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag, and a release date, Nov. 23, publisher HarperCollins announced Tuesday.

The Alaska ex-governor and former Republican vice presidential candidate, whose memoir Going Rogue has sold more than 2 million copies, has been working on a tribute to American values.

It will include “selections from classic and contemporary readings that have moved her,” according to HarperCollins, along with “the nation’s founding documents to great speeches, sermons, letters, literature and poetry, biography, and even some of her favorite songs and movies.”

The book is inspired not only by her “strong belief in the importance of family, faith, and patriotism,” but by some of the people she met last year while promoting Going Rogue. Palin skipped major cities such as Seattle and Los Angeles, traditional stops on most author tours, and instead focused on smaller communities more receptive to her conservative message.

“The book will also include portraits of some of the extraordinary men and women she admires and who embody her deep love of country, her strong rootedness in faith, and her profound love and appreciation of family,” the statement from HarperCollins reads.

Read more here.

I very much look forward to reading the governor’s new book. If Going Rogue is any indication, this new one will be another incredible read, and a best-seller at that.

And you just have to love the title–very American and, therefore, very Palin.

Palin and Defense Contractor Dine to Support Wounded Troops

Posted by Ron Devito on May 11, 2010

During the time Governor Palin electrified the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, she dined with a defense contractor at a restaurant owned by a former US Marine. The venue and the dinner guest could not have been more Providential. Cathy Maples, President, R & D Electronics won the dinner with a $63K bid in a Ride2Recovery charity auction to benefit wounded soldiers, which we covered in a prior interview.

Devito: When we last spoke, I had asked, “Though the principal purpose of a dinner such as this is to help wounded veterans, you will be in Gov. Palin’s company for up to four hours….please elaborate on your opinion and support of her.”

You responded….”I like that she is for smaller government, less taxes and the government being on the side of the people. She understands that the Senators, Congressional people, and the President are hired by the people to work for the people (I don’t believe some in Washington are aware of that any longer, they belittle the opinions of the voters). I believe she would listen to the people who elected her and want what is best for our country in lieu of politics as usual in Washington.”

Having dined with Gov. Palin, has being in her company reinforced your conviction that she would listen to the people who elected her, and do what is best for our country? If yes, why and how so?

Maples: “Yes, she is very personable and honest. She has integrity and virtue, something that is hard to find in a politician.”

Devito: Can you describe the moment you first saw Gov. Palin and met her?

Maples: The first time I met Gov. Palin was in Greensboro, N.C. when she was running as Vice President with John McCain. She was electrifying, and when she walked into the room, her charisma and fearlessness in the face of adversity was apparent.

Devito: How much time did you spend in Governor Palin’s company?

Maples: I went to a fundraiser with her before the dinner, so total time was approximately 3.5 hours.

Devito: Describe what it was like to be with Gov. Palin; any special rapport or bond you may have developed her or members of her family.

Maples: It was like being in the presence of Royalty and also like being with a real person at the same time. I think the rapport or bond is the admiration I feel for her in how she has always worked and set her sights on something higher if it was in God’s plans for her.

Devito: Who else was present?

Maples: The two guys who work for her, Jason and Doug were present along with a super-good photographer.

Devito: Where did you eat?

Maples: We met in New Orleans the weekend of the Southern Republican Leadership Conference. We ate at Restaurant August, which is owned by a former US Marine, John Besh.

Devito: Was there some aspect of this dinner or trip that you would regard as a life-changing experience?

Maples: I think the experience was a life-changing moment for my grandsons, to see someone that cares about the United States and what happens to it, even above their own political aspirations.

Devito: In our last interview, you expressed concern about the trajectory our nation is headed on, particularly as regards federal spending and debt accumulation. You regarded it as a serious enough issue that you said, “If we continue spending another three years plus four more years at the rate we have the last 12 months, I am afraid the United States as we have known it will no longer exist.” Now, five months later we have seen the passage of ObamaCare. The BP oil rig explosion will provide Obama with the handy excuse he was seeking to continue the same failed energy policies of the last several decades; he is now seeking to implement a massive cap and tax scheme. He has a special knack for alienating allies and emboldening enemies.

Do you see “the United States as we have known it no longer existing” happening now on an accelerated track compared to five months ago? Consider that as of this writing there are still 989 days left in his administration…just under three years.

Maples: Yes, I think with ObamaCare, the cap and tax (which will be devastating to our economy) and the issues we now have with Israel and Iran about to go nuclear that we are on the “Concorde” to my grandchildren never knowing the United States that I grew up in. Also, the comments about making too much money: we have always had a free market where the people who strived and worked hard could be rewarded. Now, those same people are being demotivated. It takes these type people to generate jobs and energize our economy.

Devito: Having spent 3.5 hours within a few feet of Gov. Palin, what are your thoughts on her ability to reverse and heal the damage inflicted by Obama if she were to run for POTUS and win the 2012 election? You wrote five months ago that you would love to see her in the White House in 2012? Has this dinner reinforced that for you? If so, how and why?

Maples: This dinner has reinforced me wanting her in the White House. I believe with her ethics and common sense (she is definitely not your politician as usual) she could certainly begin the healing process that is needed after the damage that has been done to our country in the last 15 months.

Devito: Do you see Gov. Palin being able to do to reverse the trend toward losing our way as a nation, prior to 2012 – in her current capacity as a private citizen?

Maples: I think she is energizing the country now as a private citizen. It feels good to know someone is on our side and is brave enough to speak out even with the unfair criticism she has encountered.

Devito: Finally…the penultimate….anything you care to add….

Maples: We had an awesome time; it was the chance of a lifetime for me and my family. I pray God’s blessings and guidance for Gov. Palin as she continues to inspire and motivate the American people.

R & D is a Native American Woman-Owned 8(a) company, supplying electronic assemblies, distribution and control boxes, electro-mechanical assemblies, and optics to the United States government and its prime contractors for over 30 years.

Sarah Palin, Carly Fiorina, True Leadership, And Reality

Posted by Gary P Jackson on May 11, 2010

When we have our bull sessions, at the [virtual] clubhouse, one notion we throw around quite a lot is the fact that Sarah Palin is playing chess, while the rest of the world is playing checkers. That truly seems to sum up Sarah’s ability to see the big picture, to be a leader.

We all kind of figured there would be some detractors when Sarah decided to step in and endorse Carly Fiorina in the Californian Republican primary. But the over the top histrionics, and the unprofessional reaction from the DeVore camp simply amazed me.

Oh, it didn’t amaze me that people were upset, especial Chuck DeVore. I mean he wanted the endorsement as well. An endorsement from Sarah Palin is money in the bank and an almost sure victory. It also means that other politicians, the more timid among them, will suddenly fight over who will make the next endorsement in your favor, once Sarah has made it “cool.”

We’ve seen it before, most notably with Doug Hoffman in New York. Jeri Thompson really “discovered” the guy. She and Fred worked tirelessly, but once Sarah weighed in, EVERYBODY rushed to be next in line, well everyone but Newt….who went down with the sinking S.S. Scozzafava ship. We are seeing it in Kentucky with Rand Paul, another endorsement from Sarah that sent a few knee jerk reactionaries into convulsions.

Look, at this point everyone and their uncle has written something about this, including Stacy Drake and I. You can read our thoughts here and here.

Our favorite Barbarian also has a nice piece up that details the reasoning behind many of the endorsements of Carly over DeVore. The reasoning behind a Carly Fiorina endorsement is laid out quite well by the California Pro-Life Council. You should take the time to read this well thought out reasoning here.

The bottom line though is this: Chuck DeVore has zero chance of becoming the Republican nominee for the United States Senate race. Zero.

There are a any number of reasons why DeVore simply didn’t get traction. Most of it can be narrowed down to the fact that he ran a poor campaign The DeVore campaign had trouble raising money, and even more trouble managing money.

Evidently, DeVore doesn’t play well with others, as noted here and here.

The thing is though, and this is what the “educated,” the “political strategists,” the pundits, and the armchair quarterbacks fail to understand: This ain’t about Chuck DeVore!

The reason why Sarah stepped into this race is Tom Campbell. Campbell, as has widely been written, is a far left progressive posing as a Republican. Tom was not a factor early on, because he was running for Governor. When reality slapped him in the face, telling him he couldn’t win, he decided to jump in the Senate race and really muddy the waters. Campbell is so radical, morally bankrupt, and corrupt, that it would almost be preferable to leave Barbara Boxer in place over electing Tom Campbell. At least Boxer stands up for Israel, and has never taken campaign money from a convicted terrorist!

This is why Sarah stepped in. As crazy as California politics are, Campbell, who is further to the left than Boxer, is leading in the polls! (At this point Stacy Drake usually goes off on “Country Club Republicans,” but I digress!) On the other hand, Carly is only a couple of points behind and within the margin of error in some polling. Carly can beat Campbell.

Sadly, DeVore is barely polling double digits, and has never polled well in a 3-way race. He simply cannot win the primary. Now I know everyone is saying that polling shows DeVore might beat Boxer, the operative word being “might,” but that is no real feat in this climate. That Boxer is going down is all but a forgone conclusion. The problem is, you have to make the field, to be in the race, and take the big win. Sadly, there is simply no way for that to happen for DeVore.

We are only a month away from the California Republican primary, and DeVore is barely treading water, and barely breaking into double digit numbers. Here’s a clue…if you are a month out, and after all of your campaigning,…you are sweating it just to get over 10% of the voters to back you, it’s time to call it a day. Reality is staring you in the face, and it isn’t smiling.

Sarah saw this as well. Look, Sarah is the only real leader we have in this country. Other politicians are just that, and way too timid for their own good. Of course it may simply be they aren’t smart enough to see just how dire the situation is.

At any rate, Sarah looked at reality, the same reality Chuck DeVore is looking at, and did what leaders do…She led! Sarah knew this race needed to be shaken up, she knew the real deal here was to defeat Tom Campbell, and stave off ceratin disaster for California and the American people.

This wasn’t personal, it was practical. It’s truly disappointing to see the way DeVore and his people have reacted. One understands the disappointment, and sympathizes, but one cannot accept their complete divorce from reality.

Chuck DeVore, is not a viable candidate at this point, and hasn’t been for some time. The minute Tom Campbell entered the race, it was all over. It is what it is…deal with it.

On the other hand, Carly Fiorina has ran a good campaign. She’s a solid candidate. She has no problem raising money, or support. She stands for the right things, and brings a life time of solid business experience to the table. She’s the real deal. She’s pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-Business, against dangerous “cap and tax” legislation, as well as ObamaCare.

More importantly, Carly can not only beat Tom Campbell, who is arguably as bad, or worse than Boxer, she can beat Boxer as well.

This is simply reality. That only Sarah Palin recognized this, and took the steps to prevent disaster, says a lot about not only Sarah, but the sorry state the Republican Party is still in. We refer to Sarah as the Leader of the Free World, because,….well,….she is. Sure would be nice if some of the lessor players would help pick up the slack though!

Oh, and now that Sarah has endorsed, Senators Tom Coburn and Rick Santorum have also endorsed Carly.

Frankly, it’s time folks took hard look at reality, set aside personal egos and agendas, and got behind Carly Fiorina. It’s what’s good for California, and what’s good for America. We will long remember the actions of those who would stand in the way of the defeat of Tom Campbell, and the ultimate defeat of Barbara Boxer, and the Obama regime’s dangerous Marxist-progressive agenda.

***As luck would have it, while putting the finishing touches on this bit of writing, DeVore was putting the finishing touches on his Senate bid. In the California debate today…Sunday…DeVore proclaimed that the Taliban and al Qaeda do not pose “existential threats” to the United States. Oh my…does Chuck not watch TV or read the papers? The Times Square Bomber has ties to the Taliban!

Say goodnight Gracie!

Hello Senator Fiorina.

Our friends over at The Right Scoop have more on this here.

Ted Nugent: On Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck And What the Tea Parties Stand For

Posted by Gary P Jackson on May 11, 2010

Ted Nugent has always been one of my favorite guitar slingers and he is a true patriot and philanthropist. As only Ted can, he describes what the tea party movement really is all about: Freedom, Liberty, and the return to using the Constitution and the Rule of Law in this country.

It’s about holding corrupt politicians in BOTH parties accountable, and stopping this out of control Marxist government, Fedzilla, as Ted calls it.

It’s no wonder Time Magazine chose Ted to write the introduction for Sarah Palin on the occasion of her honor as one of the World’s Most Influential Leaders.

Writing in Human Events, Ted lays it all out as only he can:

I constantly hang out with great Americans from every walk of life. We understand that the American Dream is about being the best that you can be, to work as hard as possible and be accountable in order to be an asset to our families, communities and country.

We expect our government to secure our borders, keep us safe from our enemies, and play by the rules as laid out in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Golden Rule and Ten Commandments, and otherwise pretty much stay the heck out of our way. We the people know that the government is supposed to work for us, not run amok and abandon all accountability as the out-of-control, gluttonous, criminal Fedzilla is currently overtly guilty of.

The Tea Party is so simple, it’s stupid. Named after the uprising of Americans sick and tired of tyrants usurping the new American freedom lifestyle and dream, taxation without representation was merely the tip of that 1773 culture war spear, and now accurately represents the spirit of the 2010 Tea Party movement.

This glorious experiment in self-government is not supposed to be a spectator sport as it has been reduced to for so long. As the boss of government, we the people were supposed to stay in touch with politics and politicians, making sure our will was the force behind policies and law making.

Remember that? The Tea Party Americans do, and we are demanding its return immediately. The New Deal was a raw deal and the Great Society was for losers. A hand out creates the curse of dependency. A hand up is nationalism at its finest.

It is no surprise that the Glenn Beck’s and Sarah Palin’s of the world are so inspiring and in direct accord with the Tea Party. To listen to these great leaders is to hear the pulse of the best that America has to offer. Faith, hope, charity, honesty, a Herculean work ethic and a vapor trail of positive energy is all the Tea Party stands for.

We don’t believe in bail outs, we demand accountability.

We don’t want an exit strategy, we want a victory strategy.

We can’t believe that Navy SEAL warriors are being indicted for roughing up a murderous terrorist leader in their heroic professional military action to bring in evil criminals.

We are deeply offended by the speaker of the House telling us that we can find out what’s in the healthcare bill after they sign it and it becomes law. This is outrageous and it must stop now.

We refuse to accept any longer the rampant corruption, cronyism, and outright abuse of power by willfully disconnected, arrogant bureaucrats.

Who can believe that Fedzilla is taking Goldman Sachs to task while denying that government waste and idiotic policies are behind the economic ruin?

How can such a rookie with zero experience call the shots when it comes to Iran developing nuclear arms?

We are shocked that the President of the United States surrounds himself with self avowed communists, Marxists, Socialists, tax cheats, law breakers, far-left animal right’s goons, Mao and Che fans, and czars whose records are so far out of whack with American values as to make the head spin.

We are mad as hell that Fedzilla continues to spend and waste our hard earned tax dollars on laughable programs, bail outs, ridiculous so-called stimulus packages and other boondoggles that have failed miserably in the past, and are failing miserably again. It is sheer lunacy to repeat actions and expect a different outcome. It is time to reign in Fedzilla, and the Tea Party is just that force to reckon with, and clearly the logical voice and action to get it done.

A prime motivator for the Tea Party is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who so eloquently stated, “Those who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We are merely bringing to the surface a tension that is already there”.

Dedicated to standing up for our rights and the American Way through nonviolent direct action, just like the glorious and pivotal American upgrade of the civil rights movement in the 1960s, the Tea Party represents a long overdue wake up call for America, and more importantly, American politicians and its lapdog media megaphone.

All that being said, anyone with a working brain knows that Fedzilla is behind every problem America faces today. But the real culprit in the current American tragedy is apathy—a nation with citizens who abandoned our prime responsibility to stay on top of things, to monitor our government, to research candidates, to vote intelligently. The burden falls square on the shoulders of we the people who bent over and let these rotten bureaucrats trample the American Dream.

Better late than never, the Tea Party is a return to paying attention, remaining engaged, and good old American activism, the very soul of America.

I salute the Tea Party and pray to God that it builds steam, galvanizes energy and focus, and enlightens enough Americans to begin the take back in November and beyond.

Rock legend Ted Nugent is noted for his conservative political views and his vocal pro-hunting and Second Amendment activism. His smash bestseller Ted, White & Blue: The Nugent Manifesto, is now available at Nugent also maintains the Official Ted Nugent Site at

Sarah Palin Shows Hers Support For Israel On The Red Carpet

Posted by Gary P Jackson on May 11, 2010

Sarah Palin is a strong supporter of Israel, and showed that support by wearing a pin that has both the American and Israeli flags while at  Time Magazine’s Most Influential Gala. This is the same pin she wore when she gave her State-of-the-Union address at the National Tea Party Convention.

Sarah has always supported Israel and had an Israeli flag in the Governor’s office.

Sarah is known for wearing pins in support of things near and dear to her heart, often wearing her Blue Star Moms pin, or something to highlight Alaska.

***Meanwhile….Barack Obama….with his jihad against Israel,… has lost roughly half of his U.S. Jewish support, according to the latest polling.
