Silly Democrats (And Media): “Sarah Palin Is Going To Shoot Us”…Or Something

Posted by Gary P Jackson on March 25, 2010

If you haven’t noticed, and how could you not, this week the Marxist-democrat party has given it’s partners in the media the job of scaring the American people with tales of “violence” against them. Doing what they do best, they are playing the victim.

It all started last week when the race baiters in the Marxist-democrat party claimed members of the Tea Party called them “ni**ers.” Funny thing, Stacy Drake, and everyone else, have poured over video from every angle and locations of the claimed insults, and as expected, you can’t hear the “N” word at any time. Just peaceful protesters yelling “Kill the bill!” Read Stacy’s take here.

Last night, on the Sean Hannity Show, S.E. Cupp announced that Andrew Breitbart and others have offered a $10,000 reward, which will go to the Negro College Fund, for anyone who can bring actual evidence the “N” word was ever uttered.

Funny thing, the media, and even members of Congress have absolutely no problems calling patriotic members of the Tea Party movement “teabaggers.” For the more gentle readers, “teabagging” is slang for a rather vulgar sex act. Again, tune into any of the Marxist-democrat’s media partners, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, the print partners, left wing blogs, and so on, and you will always see patriotic Americans referred to as “teabaggers.”

Basically, the Marixist-democrats effort to smear the peaceful Tea Party protesters have failed.

Once again, they and their media partners have been caught lying to the American people. Note to the media, especially CNN and MSNBC. There’s a reason why the Cartoon Channel is pulling in more viewers than your two networks combined!

Lying is standard practice for Marxists, communists, and socialists. So is staging false “attacks” to blame others. All of the operators manuals from Karl Marx’s books to Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” teach their disciples to go out and be agents provocateur.

The Nazis used these techniques very effectively, so did the communists in Russia. On a larger scale, both Hitler and the Japanese staged sabotage incidents in order to fabricate a reason to invade other nations.

How many times have we seen stories of nooses hung on some black Marxist’s door knob at an indoctrination center (university) or some other conspicuous place, only to find out later that it was the Marxists themselves that placed it there? This sort of thing happens all of the time.

Now let’s look at the latest jackassery from the lying Marxist-democrats and their media partners in their coordinated effort to scare the American people.

This started a few days ago when Lawrence O’Donnell went into an insane rant that is standard practice over at MSNBC. Jeff Hedgpeth at News Real Blog brings us this:

Lawrence O’Donnell is as Scared as a Little Girl of Guns and Mean Old Sarah Palin

Correct me if I’m wrong, because I’m not, but didn’t David Plouffe say that Democrats needed to avoid “bed-wetting” in 2010? Perhaps someone failed to get the message to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell. Substituting for the equally large-headed Keith Olbermann, O’Donnell said on Tuesday in an over-the-top dramatic fashion,

Sarah Palin’s rhetoric gets even more incendiary…She announces her list of Democrats to target and she uses cross hairs, gun cross hairs to target them

O’Donnell, last seen losing all semblance of journalistic integrity (not to mention his mind), on Morning Joe while interviewing Marc A. Thiessen, read the above words as though Sarah Palin was going to pull out a rifle, climb in a helicopter, and start shooting Democrats from the skies.

It is amazing that even when the far-Left wins it still wets itself in fear over imagined threats. Mr. O’Donnell, beyond recommending decaf, I would suggest you make an occasional visit to the real world where people use analogies and don’t mean them literally. And Lawrence, I know guns scare beltway Liberals but the rest of us know how to use them and aren’t scared by them.

By the way, if someone shoots a response to you, you don’t need to duck – or wet the bed.

Although Barack Obama has broken every single promise of making his government transparent, the Marxists are incredibly transparent. They always overreach. If they had left O’Donnell’s cartoonish rant stand on it’s on, they might have had something, but these people can’t help themselves. So we are seeing silliness like this that was published in the Anchorage Daily News:

Palin’s firearms-themed rhetoric called dangerous

RELOAD!” Sarah Palin shouted at right-wing supporters via Twitter on Tuesday after President Obama signed the House health care bill. On her Facebook page, she posted a U.S. map with crosshair targets in states where she’s planning to campaign against moderate Democrats who voted in favor of the health insurance overhaul. “We’ll aim for these races,” she wrote, in the “first salvo” leading up to the midterm elections. A few liberal commentators don’t find that kind of rhetoric amusing.

Rob Kezelis, Capitol Hill Blue: Honestly, where in any decent, civilized society is there room for Sarah’s latest tweet, “Don’t retreat, RELOAD!“? While some may dismiss that as silly rhetoric, or even humor, it is anything but. One only has to recall some of the weirder moments during the last presidential campaign, especially the Sarah Palin rallies. Some of those people were not only whacked-out, conspiracy nuts, they were more than willing to take “justice” as they define it, and use whatever means necessary to achieve it, including violence. And they are armed.

Margo Howard, The Women on the Web: I would not find it surprising if someone from the Department of Justice rang [Palin] up to advise her that what she is doing is inciting violence – which is a federal offense. As if it weren’t bad enough that people were spitting on legislators, yelling epithets and wearing sidearms into Starbucks, here comes Sarah Palin using the language of guns … and this in a country that has seen political assassinations in our lifetime. Hate speech, anyone? I would suggest to McCain’s Mistake that she, well, think before she speaks. Or better yet, just stop talking.

Rep. Steve Israel (D-NY), on Twitter: Reload? @SarahPalinUSA Is your choice of words inciteful or ignorant?

Joan Walsh, Salon.com: Most (but probably not all) Palin supporters may insist the tuckered-out former Alaska governor meant “reload” metaphorically. But in a country where angry right-wingers carry guns to see the president speak, and spit on African-American congressmen, I thought it was a chilling statement. Will any Republican denounce Palin’s language?

Rachel Maddow, MSNBC: The armed and dangerous theme isn‘t just in the streets and at the protests. It‘s now the vernacular by which supposedly mainstream conservative politicians address their followers.

Jeffrey Feldman, Huffington Post: Palin’s rifle scope map is the kind of image one might expect to see in an ad for a violent, first-person shooter video game. Again, neither the language nor the imagery Palin uses are neutral. For Palin, the concepts of political “organizing” and “volunteering” are recast as the functions of a rifle. “Campaigning” is re-imagined as a counterassault on a war battlefield. Even more disturbing, Palin re-imagines the traditional U.S. map as a military kill list. Engaging in election politics is framed as violent assault.

When seen in the context of this violent rhetoric by the highest-profile figures in the Republican Party, recent calls for gun violence seen at Tea Party rallies on Capital Hill take on new meaning.

Jed Lewison, Daily Kos: Of all the images to convey about her movement, it is revealing that Sarah Palin chose one associated with violence. Palin’s rhetoric comes amidst a surge in right-wing extremism, a time during which she should be urging cooler heads to prevail instead of fueling the most radical elements of her base. … I don’t care how much money Sarah Palin might want to make off her political celebrity, if she were the patriot she claims to be, she’d be doing everything in her power to rein in the rising tide of right-wing extremism.

Holy over-the-top crazy Batman! These moonbats are beyond pathetic! And could they BE more obvious with this? We know the White House sends out talking points to their media partners daily. You think they’d try and mix it up, rather than everyone saying the same thing at the same time. Marxists are evil, but they aren’t all that smart.

As you notice, they quote the biggest left wing hacks out there including those from vile hate sites like the Huffington Post and Daily Kos. These are two hate filled websites that publish attacks on women, children, whoever they disagree with. Kos is particularly vile and throws regular celebrations when a Conservative gets sick or dies.

I will never forget the celebration they held when well respected, and much loved, journalist and White House Press Secretary Tony Snow was battling cancer, and ultimately lost that battle. Tony was one of the classiest, most decent guys around, and the left wing thought it an occasion to dance on his grave. Pure evil.

Anyhow, Back to Sarah. The sane among us know that it was Sarah’s dad, Chuck who first said, after Sarah stepped down, that she wasn’t retreating, she was reloading. Normal Americans knew what Chuck was saying, and when Sarah started saying it, we got it then, too. Sarah was stepping back, regrouping, resetting. Getting ready for the big battle ahead.

This is for the odd Obama supporter who might wander in and read this:

Chuck, Sarah, and well… pretty much every Alaskan, owns a gun.

Most own a lot of guns. People in Alaska hunt for their food, and are taught weaponology at an early age. With that, comes a certain vernacular.

Every sport has it’s own language and those that follow it take up the language of it. For example fans of baseball may describe a job well done as a “home run.” Football fans may talk about “tackling a problem at work.” Hmmm, that brings up all sorts of “violent” images doesn’t it? I’m a racer, we talk about “hammering the throttle.” That could be violent. In fact, in drag racing we describe launches by their degree of “violence.” Oh my.

OK, enough of that, back to our regular readers:

Reloading is a fairly benign and generic term. In fact, Hollywood uses it, or variations of it all of the time. I went over to the Internet Movie Database, the absolute authority on all things movie and television. I plugged “reloaded” into the search and found some interesting titles including The Matrix Reloaded, The Osbournes Reloaded, MTV Reloaded, Dominatrix Reloaded, and my favorite, Barney Cam II: Barney Reloaded.

This is one scary dog!

Then we found an even scarier movie: Herbie Fully Loaded!

See, I told you. Isn’t this called “shooting paint“?

Talk about fully loaded! Those are dangerous. You could put out an eye or something!

Look, these people, the Marxist-democrats and their media partners, are idiots. They are also incredibly disingenuous. Not only was nothing done when a couple of losers in North Hollywood hung Sarah Palin in effigy, at Halloween 2008, the media picked it up and Marxist-democrats cheered them on!

When decent people complained, nothing was done, and they were told the homeowners were just “exercising their free speech rights.” Try hanging Obama in effigy and see how far that gets you!

Google “Kill George Bush” and you will find all sorts of violent images. There were even movies made, and hailed as great pieces of work, where Bush was assassinated. Try that with Obama!

Truth is…all of the real violence comes from the left. Remember, one of Barack Obama’s close friends, mentors, and the ghostwriter of his first book, is the ultra-violent Bill Ayers, an unrepentant domestic terrorist who set off fire bombs nationwide in police stations, at Army recruiting centers, The US Capitol Building, the Pentagon, and even the private home of a judge! All in an effort to overthrow the government.

Ayers of course, is married to Bernardine Dohrn, a former member of the FBI’s Most Wanted. She was once called the “most dangerous woman in America” by the agency. She was tried and convicted for her part in a failed Brinks robbery that left security guards and police dead.

These two used to babysit the Obama’s kids!

Dohrn was helping another violent group at the time of the slaughter, the Black Panthers. And yes, this is the same Black Panthers whose members were convicted of voter intimidation after the 2008 presidential election when they showed up at a polling place armed to the teeth and sporting paramilitary uniforms. And yeah, this is the same Black Panthers whose convictions were overturned by Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder.

Violence and Marxism go hand and had. We’ve seen plenty of protests by left wing groups turn violent. We’ve watched the Code Pink anti-war protesters violently attack Condi Rice and others. Hell, the democrats actually slipped a couple of the Code Pink crazies into a Senate hearing just so they could attack Rice, who just happened to be black, BTW. These loons got within inches of Dr Rice, screaming and covered in fake blood!

There are more examples though. During the 2008 campaign Obama repeatedly told his supporters to “get in their faces” as a tactic to argue that he was “The One.”

That sort of thing followed the Chicago street thug into office. Last summer, at the height of the town hall protests Obama gathered his minions and implored them to “punch back twice as hard.”

In response, Obama’s purple shirted union thugs from the SEIU promptly showed up at a town hall meeting in St Louis. There these thugs found a black man, Kenneth Gladney, outside selling Gadesen Flags and other patriotic goodies. These union thugs pounced on Gladney, and beat him unconscious, all the while shouting “ni**er” and other obscenities.

Look we can go on forever with this deal, but the American people know the truth. All of the violence you see at protests all of the heated rhetoric comes from the leftists, the Marxists. It’s in their blood, it’s how they operate.

There are a couple of things at work here. First, the Marxist-democrats, lead by Obama, just passed the most unpopular law in American history. Three out of every four Americans are against it. Those are big numbers. While not violent, the American people are angry. They are as angry as they have ever been, and don’t kid yourself, this includes pre-1776 anger!

The democrats need a distraction, and they need it bad. They need something their media partners can make some headlines with. Anything to try and take America’s mind off the fact they just had their freedom and liberty destroyed. Anything to distract from the usurpation of the Constitution. Anything to distract from the ongoing coup d’état that is being attempted by Obama and his thugs.

As Tammy Bruce pointed out yesterday, the Marxist-democrats are also using this nonsense to gin up donations. Seventy-five percent of the nation is strongly against these people and their plans. They have lost the nation. They have also lost millions of donors and their much needed dollars. This phoney-baloney cooked up controversy is a pathetic attempt at raising funds from the mind-numbed zombies that make up the base of their party. Read more here.

And of course, they are focusing on Sarah, she is the left’s bete noire, she is the one person who can and will take these people down, and they know it.

Look, this isn’t to diminish the efforts of anyone else. There have emerged a good number of real leaders among the Republicans in Washington, but it was Sarah Palin’s gutsy performances, her never give up stance, that has embolden others. Sarah Palin is the leader of the FREE world, and the Marxist-democrats all know it, from Obama on down.

The Marxists fear Sarah. In case you forgot, many of Obama’s top advisors, including Pete Rouse and Anita Dunn come from Alaska. They have seen Sarah in action, firsthand. They know for a fact that she is a capable leader and a true reformer. They know she was fearless when she took on corruption at all levels, including corruption in her own party. They know she was fearless when she stood toe to toe with executives from Big Oil and told them how it was going to be!

They also know That Sarah is completely and totally unimpressed with Barack Obama. Unlike many, she isn’t going to handle him with kid gloves. Sarah doesn’t feel the need to be gentle or “diplomatic.”

Something else. Sarah Palin lives in a bi-racial marriage. Her children are bi-racial. She doesn’t feel that timidity others feel when it comes to getting tough with our bi-racial President. And sadly, for the Marxists, it’s pretty hard to call someone in Sarah Palin’s position racist and make it stick. That age old Alinsky tactic won’t work with her.

The day John McCain introduced Sarah Palin to the world, is the day the Obama campaign ceased running against John McCain. If you go back and look at all over the coverage, and all of the efforts by the Obama team, and their media partners, you’ll see from that day forward, the bulk of the effort was aimed at Sarah Palin.

Obama’s own campaign team immediately elevated Sarah to Obama’s level of importance and stature. Of course, most of us know that in the grand scheme of things, Sarah is far more important and has way more stature than this little “community organizer” from Chicago.

Always has, always will.

We all know, that should she wish, the 2012 Republican nomination is Sarah Palin’s for the asking. She is the one true leader of the American people. The Marxist-democrats know this as well.

They also know Obama is done. He has made himself completely and totally unelectable with the passage of ObamaCare. So have most, if not all of the Marxist-democrats currently occupying offices in Congress. They are finished. Their only hope, only chance of seeing their outrageous programs continue is for the GOP to elect their usual “squishy” type of presidential candidate, who would not be bold enough to really tinker with their mess.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, will come in and clean house. They know it. They know, first hand, what she did in Alaska and how many corrupt politicians ended up in prison. They know Sarah will serve the people, not their buddies in the labor unions or the trial lawyers.

They know she will trim the fat and run a tight ship. She will rebuild our relationships with our allies that Obama has destroyed, and will be hard core with our enemies, that Obama has coddled.

In short, Sarah has already strengthened the Republican brand. Not only is she the real deal, but her passion and, her strength has emboldened other strong Republicans, who are also reenforcing the once sagging brand. That’s is the real danger Sarah represents to the Marxist-democrats. Sarah inspires. Sarah emboldens. With Sarah Palin as President the entire nation will be inspired to get back to our roots, to get back on the solid path our Founders put us on.

Much like Ronald Reagan defeated the Soviets, the “evil empire,” Sarah will defeat the Marxists in this country and stop our march toward communism. Generations worth of destruction caused by these people will be reversed.

Obama and his crew know this. They also know that their defeat is eminent. They are all dead men walking, politically. Their only hope for their un-American policies to survive is to defeat Sarah Palin and hope the GOP nominates it’s usual establishment candidate, who will embrace Big Government.

You know, as I finish this, there are a lot of endings I could throw out there, but I ran across a couple of photos that say it all when it comes to the differences between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama:

Governor Palin: Do Not Let Us Have Our Heads Turned (Update: Obama Needs a Vocabulary Czar)

Posted by Adrienne Ross on March 25, 2010

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

Earlier I wrote about the ludicrous accusation that Governor Palin’s Facebook note was a call to arms–literally. The lie was easy to debunk, for the governor had been on Glenn Beck just a few days prior denouncing violence.

That recent appearance on Fox was not the only time she heralded civility and condemned acting out physically. It was one of many. Here are a few more examples, not that anyone with an ounce of common sense needs them. Nonetheless, we might as well continue making liberal heads spin as we show them to be the liars they are (emphasis added).

1. When George Tiller, the controversial Wichita abortionist, was murdered, C4P released a piece that included Governor Palin’s statement. She wrote:

I feel sorrow for the Tiller family. I respect the sanctity of life and the tragedy that took place today in Kansas clearly violates respect for life. This murder also damages the positive message of life, for the unborn, and for those living. Ask yourself, “What will those who have not yet decided personally where they stand on this issue take away from today’s event in Kansas?”

Regardless of my strong objection to Dr. Tiller’s abortion practices, violence is never an answer in advancing the pro-life message.

2. Following Tiller’s murder, the governor spoke out against targeting Planned Parenthood clinics for violence. The Juneau Vampire reported:

Planned Parenthood locations in Alaska, Idaho and western Washington haven’t beefed up security following the slaying of a doctor who performed late-term abortions in Kansas, and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said violence should not be used in advancing the anti-abortion message.

3. At the Tea Party Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, Governor Palin spoke to an excited crowd, imploring them to stay focused on the issues and not to allow opponents of civility and decency to hijack the movement. She said:

We are now the keepers of an honorable tradition of conservative values and good works. We must never forget that it is a sacred trust to carry these ideas forward. It demands civility and it requires decent, constructive, issue-oriented debate. Opponents of this message seek to marginalize this movement. They want to paint us as ideologically extreme – the counterpoint to liberal intolerance, and outrageous conspiracy theories aimed at our own government, and unethical, shameless tactics like considering a candidate’s children ‘fair game.’ But, unlike the elitists who denounce this movement, I’ve traveled across the country and talked to the patriotic men and women who make up the Tea Party nation. They are good and kind and selfless and deeply concerned about our country. Today I ask only this: Let’s make this movement a tribute to their good example. Make it worthy of their hard work and their support. Do not let us have our heads turned from the important work before us. And do not give others an excuse to turn their eyes from it.

That speech appears to have been a prophetic glance into where we are today: far-Left loons becoming even more radical in their attempts to make tea partiers out to be just like them. (It’s called projecting.) Governor Palin’s words clearly indicate she is not at all like them, and she does not employ the tactics they have perfected in their quest for unlimited power, like the ones they have used against her.

Who needs to incite violence when you can inspire action where it matters–the voting booth? Governor Palin’s message remains the same. “Do not let us have our heads turned.” In other words, don’t get sidetracked. Get organized! November is coming.

Update: I just learned that “Today Show” host Ann Curry decided to get in on the nonsense.

CBS News reports:

On NBC’s “Today Show” Thursday, McCain was asked about what host Ann Curry described as Palin’s “incendiary language.”

“Ann, I have seen the rhetoric of targeted districts as long as I’ve been in politics,” he replied. “Please. This is — any threat of violence is terrible, but to say that there is a targeted district or that we ‘reload’ or go back in to the fight again, please…Those are fine. They’re used all the time.”

[…]

After a testy back-and-forth, Curry said, “I think it is the ‘reload’ and ‘crosshairs’ that’s caused a lot of people to be concerned, senator.”

“Maybe it has, and we condemn any violence, any threats of violence,” responded McCain. “But I’ve heard all of that language throughout my political career.”

Okay, so no one can use the term “reload” anymore without being accused of committing a federal offense? What about the expression “caught in the crosshairs”? That, too, is now off-limits? My goodness, maybe President Obama needs to look into getting a Vocabulary Czar to keep track of this government takeover of language to go along with his takeover of the car industry, the banking industry, and the health care industry.

In any case, ever the gentleman, Senator McCain found a way to tell Curry how ridiculous she was being without calling her a complete nut. So I’ll say it. She’s a nut!

The “R” Word: The Weapon is the VOTE!

Posted by nypalinpower on March 25, 2010

by NYPalinPower  –  http://www.nypalinpower.blogspot.com

With Sarah, either you get her or you don’t.

Look, I am certainly not one for violence.  I am a prayer warrior who believes in peace and even I knew what Sarah Palin meant when she used the “R” word in her twitter tweet.  Come on people, don’t you get it?  It is not about violence at all, Sarah Palin used the word in regard to elections.  RELOAD means to VOTE ONCE AGAIN, AND THIS TIME AIM BETTER!

When you understand the true meaning of the “R” word, it means POWER TO THE PEOPLE.  So is it not surprising that the main stream media and the status quo want you to think otherwise?  Don’t buy into their rhetoric.

Having said that, I will attempt to “sensitively” make things more clear.

First and foremost… SARAH PALIN is for the PEOPLE.  Sarah is the only politician standing up for the people against the powerful status quo of our leadership in Washington who are not serving us. She sees that the voice of Americans are being ignored and America’s constitution is being mistreated.  So naturally she is not very happy.

Our elected leaders have let us down over and over again, serving their own selfish interests at the expense of our country and our constitution. So what do we do?  How do we change our leadership from those who are not serving us to those who will?  The answer is simple, we need to vote out of office the politicians who are not listening to us and replace them with responsible and selfless public servants that will. We want leaders with common sense and integrity who hold the best interests of the people and the country at heart.  This latest healthcare vote has made our voices louder and clearer, and we are finally saying, the game is over!

So in a nutshell, this is what the “R” word means…

All Americans who feel betrayed by their current leaders in Washington need to VOTE them out, and use this vote as a weapon, not for violence (duh) but to change the quality of leadership in our government.

Adrienne Ross put it very well in her blog:

“The governor used Twitter and Facebook to encourage Americans to use their voting power to make a difference. As a hunter from the state of Alaska, she used a fitting metaphor to make a point. She used the same language her dad used when she resigned from the governor’s office. Mr. Heath said, “Sarah’s not retreating. She’s reloading.” All of a sudden, they’ve forgotten this metaphor. The Left obviously has selective memory to go along with their selective outrage.”

Lying Liberals Target Governor Palin

Posted by Adrienne Ross on March 25, 2010

By Adrienne Ross – http://www.motivationtruth.com

I have never seen people more intolerant, threatening, or downright nasty than far-left liberals. I deal with these people on a regular basis as they pull out all the stops in their determination to silence the opposition by any means necessary. It’s what they do. It’s who they are. After all, they get their marching orders from Saul Alinsky. They stop at nothing to defeat the enemy. And they get help from their lover, the mainstream media. They are very calculating in their agenda.

They know that we, the American people, are disgusted that Washington completely ignored our pleas as they rammed through what they call health care reform. They know their time is limited because, as Governor Palin pointed out in a recent Facebook note, November is indeed coming. They know elections have consequences, and we will not forget. Yes, they know we’re counting the days–and they’re scrambling, which leads me to their newest desperate attack.

Yesterday Governor Palin tweeted:

Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!” Pls see my Facebook page.

The Facebook note included a map pinpointing 20 legislators who voted for Obamacare and need to be replaced by common sense conservatives.

In that note she wrote in part:

We’re paying particular attention to those House members who voted in favor of Obamacare and represent districts that Senator John McCain and I carried during the 2008 election. Three of these House members are retiring – from Arkansas’s 2nd district, Indiana’s 8th district, and Tennessee’s 6th district – but we’ll be working to make sure that those who replace them are Commonsense Conservatives. The others are running for re-election, and we’re going to hold them accountable for this disastrous Obamacare vote.

That was yesterday. Today the Left decided to play stupid. Today, in their desperate need to manipulate, they dug deep. They know Governor Palin has the ability to drive Americans to the polls in November to vote out the people who have refused to do what they were elected to do: represent their constituents. So what do they do? They pretend Governor Palin’s “RELOAD” metaphor was an actual threat to engage in physical violence against Democrats. Are you kidding me? As a 14-year veteran English Language Arts teacher, I could walk into my classroom, show my seventh graders the tweet, show them the map, and give them the Facebook note to read. I have no doubt that they would be able to tell you that she was speaking metaphorically. I could take the weakest student I have, and even he would tell you that there was absolutely no threat of physical violence. And though I often wonder about the brain power of anybody who would embrace a liberal worldview, the saddest part of this whole nonsense today is that this time they are playing stupid. There is not one person who actually believes the governor was recommending violence, but to pretend that she is serves their purpose. It aids in their obsessive need to paint conservatives as violent racists, it cooperates with their fear of Governor Palin’s influence, and it’s in keeping with their Alinsky tactics.

I know these tactics well. They did the same thing to me a couple months ago when I published, “Levi: When Lying Dogs Won’t Sleep.” They knew good and well the entire post was laced in metaphor, but they feigned outrage and concern that I was some dangerous woman intent on murder. They then commenced to harass me, threaten me, mock my faith, and all the other loving, tolerant things people on the Left do. Pathetic really. Their accusation about Governor Palin is just more of the same.

Via the ADN, here’s a sampling of some comments that have surfaced:

Jed Lewison, Daily Kos: Of all the images to convey about her movement, it is revealing that Sarah Palin chose one associated with violence. Palin’s rhetoric comes amidst a surge in right-wing extremism, a time during which she should be urging cooler heads to prevail instead of fueling the most radical elements of her base. … I don’t care how much money Sarah Palin might want to make off her political celebrity, if she were the patriot she claims to be, she’d be doing everything in her power to rein in the rising tide of right-wing extremism.

This next one gets to the heart of what these ridiculously asinine people are hoping to achieve (emphasis mine):

Margo Howard, The Women on the Web: I would not find it surprising if someone from the Department of Justice rang [Palin] up to advise her that what she is doing is inciting violence – which is a federal offense. As if it weren’t bad enough that people were spitting on legislators, yelling epithets and wearing sidearms into Starbucks, here comes Sarah Palin using the language of guns … and this in a country that has seen political assassinations in our lifetime. Hate speech, anyone? I would suggest to McCain’s Mistake that she, well, think before she speaks. Or better yet, just stop talking.

Ms. Howard, probably without even realizing it, exposes the real desire of the Left wing media: they just want to shut conservatives up, and who is the most powerful, most respected conservative today? Governor Palin. So she must be silenced–and they will stop at nothing to do it.

The calculated plan to paint the governor and conservatives as violence inciters made its rounds today. You can watch Chris Matthews’ interview with Rep. James Clyburn here, Matthews’ interview with Rep. Chris Van Hollen here, and the NBC Nightly News rendition here.

The problem, however, is these people are too busy playing their various and sundry cards to do any research. The Republican Party and Governor Palin have clearly denounced violence in our fight to take back our country. (Note to haters: I’m not suggesting a literal fight. It’s a figure of speech, which any third grader could tell you.) If there are morons shouting racial slurs, practicing violence, or promoting such behavior, they certainly do not speak for the conservative movement. They speak for themselves and their own twisted vision of the world. They are not encouraged, embraced, or in any way abetted by those of us on the Right. After all, we are common sense conservatives.

Just the other day, while on the Glenn Beck Show, Governor Palin spoke out against violence.

Today, House Republican Leader John Boehner also made it clear that violence is not condoned. He said:

“Well, there are a lot of angry Americans and they are angry over this health care bill. They’re angry about the fact that the Democrats here in Washington aren’t listening to them. But I’ve got to tell you that violence and threats are unacceptable. It is not the American way. Yes, I know there is anger, but let’s take that anger, and go out and register people to vote, go volunteer on a political campaign, and let’s do it the right way. I’m concerned about the amount of violence and anger that’s out there … it’s unacceptable.”

Why don’t these people on the Left tell you about the GOP’s clear rejection of violence? Yes, why don’t they talk about the governor’s interview with Beck or Boehner’s strong stand? You know the answer as well as I: it doesn’t fit their agenda to do so. Honesty doesn’t help their cause. They feast off of lies. They crave an opportunity to point crooked fingers and accuse decent people of indecent motives. They long for it. They can’t live without it. It advances their cause among those who are simple minded enough to take what they say as law. They purposely twist, taint, and taunt–anything it takes. And they often expose themselves through selective, fabricated outrage.

The Left wingers and their media buds would do well to spend their time taking a stand against actual threats and hateful acts instead of playing their little games. They wouldn’t have to search far to find these threats, most often heaped upon conservatives–originating from liberals, of course.

Governor Palin has threatened no one. She has, however, been threatened. Where is the outcry from the Left and the lamestream media about this? Where is their outrage when Governor Palin faces real, not contrived, threats?

For example, recently Kathy Griffin openly stated she’d like to push Governor Palin down the stairs. This was after she trespassed her property. Where was the outrage then? Or is her threat overlooked because her agent just happens to be Rahm Emanuel’s brother, Ari?

During the Going Rogue book signing, I was personally hit with eggs when an anti-Palin loon barged in with a plan to blast the governor. Was that acceptable? What else was he capable of? The man was arrested but showed no remorse. In fact, he bragged about it later. Palin Derangement Syndrome sufferers said that Governor Palin deserved it as did I. Where was the outrage then?

Later during the tour, a man in Minnesota threw tomatoes at her and was arrested. What…no outrage then either?

It gets worse. C4P reported the following just a few months ago:

Perhaps most disturbingly, Zaki recently posted Governor Palin’s address, directions to her home, pictures of her home, and this message:

In the winter you can walk out onto the ice and walk up to the house through the back door.

[…]

She doesn’t mind visitors, just walk right up to the house and say hello!

This is a man who regularly writes hate-filled rants about Governor Palin, suggests her grandson deserves to be beat up because of his name, and wishes she would snap her ankle. He provides directions to her home and encourages people to show up. What do you think he wants them to do once they get there? Yet no outrage from the Left.

Shortly after the 2008 campaign, someone set Governor Palin’s church on fire while women and children were inside. Investigation revealed that this was more than arson. It was attempted murder, as the phone, fire alarm, and sprinkler system wires were cut. And barely a word from the media. How is that possible? No one has paid the price for this. No one has been caught. And many have never even heard of it. Why?

Collins Report, which I highly suggest you read in its entirety, offers this analysis:

The facts speak clearly. This attempted murder was perpetrated by someone from outside of the Wasilla area, a hired assassin who went there to kill people because of what they believe.

Who on the Left, who in the media, condemned this outright violent act? They barely batted an eye. Again I ask, where was the outrage?

On page 138 of Going Rogue, Governor Palin shares an extremely disturbing threat against her daughter Bristol during the 2008 campaign, and I don’t remember any Congressmen, Chris Matthews, or Rachel Maddow being very concerned about this violent threat:

She wrote:

And during the VP campaign, among so many other threats, a guy from New Jersey wrote that he would “shoot her pregnant body from a helicopter.”

Clearly, Governor Palin has endured real threats against her well-being and the well-being of her children, and the silence by some has been deafening. During this sensitive time in our country, when Americans are understandably angry, she has denounced violence, yet the haters are pretending she’s inciting it. This is their method of holding on to the little hope they have of keeping their seats in Congress. Pitiful indeed–and it won’t work.
The governor used Twitter and Facebook to encourage Americans to use their voting power to make a difference. The Left obviously has selective memory to go along with their selective outrage.

It’s time for the lamestream media to stop playing dangerous games. It is quite obvious that the governor was not inciting violence. Only a fool would actually believe that’s what she was doing. And only a liar would pretend.

I was in the crowd on July 26, 2009 in Fairbanks, Alaska when Governor Palin turned the reins over to Sean Parnell. I clearly remember her strong admonition to the media, and I applauded along with everyone else. Those words are just as appropriate today as they were that Sunday: “Quit making things up!”

Sarah Palin Said Kill Them (aka A lie told often enough becomes truth. – Lenin)

Posted by Karen Allen on March 25, 2010

No kidding. She did. Sarah Palin told everyone that was mad about the newly christened health care reform bill to shoot every last freaking Democrat that was responsible for it. Need proof?

Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!” Pls see my Facebook page.     1:31 PM Mar 23rd   via OpenBeak

See?

Oh, and that OpenBeak thing, in case you don’t know, is a Blackberry app. I have it too. And like Gov. Palin, I sit around watching my kids play sports, whilst thumbing out directives to carry out my dirty deeds. Is there a hit list, you ask? Sure as shootin’! It’s right there below. Yeppers, I am that obvious. I want people dead. And I advertise it on Facebook and Twitter for the entire world to see.

Seriously, I cannot even believe I am having to address this. And yes, I have to. Showing up in my Yahoo alerts email today was this snippet from The Hook, emphasis mine.

Gas party? FBI investigates cut line at Perriello home
by Dave McNair
published 3:10pm Wednesday Mar 24, 2010

The day after former VP candidate Sarah Palin encouraged her Facebook friends to “print pink slips” for members of Congress who voted for President Obama’s “disasterous” healthcare package, including 5th District Representative Tom Perriello, Politico reports that the FBI is investigating a cut gas line at the Charlottesville home of Perriello’s brother—who is married and has two small children—which County spokesperson Lee Catlin is calling a “suspicious incident.”

Hmmm, I thought, I suppose they are trying to somehow make a connection…a very loose connection…sort of like the one the plumber made under my sink which led to a flooded kitchen floor last week. Ah well, I figured, what’s one dumb author?

Unfortunately, the unfounded connection didn’t end there. Later today I found out the Anchorage Daily News had published an article entitled “Palin’s firearms-themed rhetoric called dangerous”. Well, again, I thought, they’ve never been a cheerleader for her, even though she’s provided them more income in the last few years than they would have ever had alone, so what would one expect?

Most likely, you can tell where I’m headed with this story. The search engines easily bring up the insane and completely baseless logic that Gov. Palin is making a literal call to arms, effectively ordering the heads of Democrats be brought to her on a platter. In a desperate attempt to draw the attention away from the health care fiasco that even the president’s own party is just now discovering the entrails of, the media and their “bring down Palin at all costs” blogger buddies have launched a Can You Believe She Ordered Democrats Killed? campaign.

Let me remind you these are the same people that went bonkers when that nutjob started shooting up the Pentagon last month. “He was a right wing extremist and 9-11 truther!” they published everywhere. Not surprisingly, they shut up real quick when it came out the guy was a long time registered Democrat. Whoops.

The ADN had one thing right in their article title though…”firearms-themed.” Yes, her words and chart had a theme as such to them…she is after all an avid hunter and gun owner advocate. Be aware though that Gov. Palin isn’t the only politician or author to ever use such terms. Here’s a few, just from a quick Google search, emphasis mine. You could get the idea from them that the Dems are just targeting and bombing away! And if you search the key phrase “Democrats take aim”, you will get a looooong list.

Even after those examples, some critics will point to the rumored threats that were hurled at House reps this past weekend as proof that we on the right are violent. I’ve seen no proof of those threats, but I will tell you that the violence that was done to the American people and our Constitution during this past week has been life threatening in more ways than one. People are mad to say the least. For Democrat lawmakers to feign ignorance and not understand that point is pure malarky.

But let ME be clear…to accuse Gov. Sarah Palin of purposely encouraging and inciting physical trauma toward those spineless Democrats responsible for the health care fiasco is extreme, slanderous, and without merit.

No more than the Democrats as a whole are at fault for the Pentagon shooter or the whackos that threw eggs and tomatoes in Gov. Palin’s direction during her book tour or the Black Panthers that in 2008 stood outside the PA polling place with a nightstick, than is Gov. Palin at fault for those that do illegal acts of cutting gas lines or throwing bricks.

Stop making things up, media and left wing bloggers. Pictured below are the real people you should be concerned about…worry about them. Stop them. Prevent them from hurting America.

Even possibly more dangerous are the illiterate ones. (h/t @gary4205)

Leftists Hate Palin’s Locking, Loading & Reloading Metaphor

Posted by Ron Devito on March 25, 2010

Liberal heads are exploding all over the United States. Three words, “Don’t retreat. RELOAD!!!” created quite the stir. So did the image of cross hairs on targeted congressional districts on a SarahPAC ad. The Alinsky trained leftists are in a hissy fit over Governor Palin’s use of gun metaphors. They find it “offensive.” They find it “threatening.” Too bad for them.

Liberals Lying and Using Alinsky Tactics

Governor Palin has not threatened anyone. Quite the contrary, just last week, she admonished a fringe group in Kenai to put their guns back in the closet and use their votes and contested primaries for this battle. “We need to make sure that the tool that we use in ‘taking up arms if you will’ is our vote. It’s supporting contested primaries and healthy debate in our elections that are upcoming. No elected official should feel they are entitled to their seat,” Gov. Palin said on the Glenn Beck Show where this was discussed. Today, House Republican Leader, Representative John Boehner said, “Well, there are a lot of angry Americans and they are angry over this health care bill. I’m concerned about the amount of violence and anger that’s out there … it’s unacceptable” (Boehner, 2010, ¶5).

Any reasonable person who sees the SarahPAC ad and request for donations knows that the targeting of these Representatives is for removal by voting! In our coverage of this, we were very careful in the use of our gun metaphors to emphasize that we are seeking to use legal processes against ObamaCare: lawsuits, States exercising their Tenth Amendment rights, and voting these representatives out of office.

Governor Palin is Routinely Threatened by Leftists

Leftists have no problem with threatening Governor Palin and her family. It could be regarded as a pastime for them. Dennis Zaki recently posted Gov. Palin’s address, directions to her home, and pictures of her home complete with instructions on entering via the back door to a public website. Another hate blogger, Jesse Griffin, who goes by the name “Gryphen”, spews” Trig Truther,” bilge daily. In multiple posts, he refers to Gov. Palin by a word used for female dogs, but it does not stop there. In one post, he writes, “Or should she step off of a curb in her Franco Sarto red high heels and snap her ankle so that she can get some of that sweet Lisa Murkowski and Sonia Sotomayor sympathy?”

Obama’s supporters routinely call for her to be assassinated or harmed in grievous ways all the time on various Internet forums. Less than two weeks ago, “comedian” Kathy Griffin, a cougar whose latest quarry appears to be none other than Levi Johnston said that she wanted to “push Gov. Palin down a flight of stairs.” Griffin and Johnston trespassed on Governor Palin’s property for the sole purpose of harassing her. Guess who Kathy Griffin’s agent is: Ari Emanuel – Rahm Emanuel’s brother – more proof that dirty and corrupt Chicago politics lead to Obama’s chief of staff and to Obama himself.

Gov. Palin has been stalked at her home and at her job by serial ethics complaints filers such as Zane Henning and Andree McLeod. A flash mob was assembling using Twitter to pelt her with tomatoes at a book signing. At the Rochester, NY book signing where US 4 Palin authors Adrienne Ross, Kristina Lazzaro and myself, were present a crazy Obama supporter destroyed at least 10 copies of Going Rogue, because he missed his real target – Gov. Palin – by 15 minutes. The loathsome Sandra Bernhard wanted to see Gov. Palin gang-raped in Harlem back in 2008. As documented in page 138 of Going Rogue, a NJ man made a threat about wanting to “shoot [Bristol Palin’s] pregnant body from a helicopter.” The Wasilla Bible Church, which has been her religious home port was firebombed in December 2008. Some 15 months have elapsed since the firebombing and that case has gone cold.

And those are some of the least vulgar and disturbing threats out there. This woman has endured threats and harassment for a year and a half, and nary an article or comment from the main stream media. What a sad state of affairs

Gov. Palin is by no means the only target of their hateful rhetoric. During the Bush administration, leftist “comedians” routinely called for his assassination without any consequences whatsoever.

Lock and Load with Sarah Palin….

Now, this article is not about self-promotion, but you will notice that the image of Gov. Palin with an M-4 fitted with an Aimpoint Comp M2 sight is our avatar, our logo, here at US for Palin. That was the first image I saw of Gov. Palin. Why did it become the predecessor site’s theme and carry over here? Two very simple reasons: that image represents to me the Reagan Conservative principle of peace through strength. I don’t want an effete socialist as President. I want Gov. Palin and her rifles. I want someone fit to stand guard over the house we call the United States. I want someone who believes in American exceptionalism and who has courage, integrity and leadership. Obama does not fulfill any of the foregoing. Secondly, that image represents Gov. Palin’s unyielding support of our Second Amendment in particular and our Constitution as a whole.

We have a little news for you Obama-philes: You better get used to Gov. Palin’s locking, loading and reloading. She won’t sit down and shut up. She’ll keep speaking up and voicing the will of the American people. Get used to the cross hairs on her ads. I hope she puts more cross hairs on the next run of that ad. And if you don’t like our celebration of it, go to another site, because at US for Palin, our lock and load party runs 24 hours a day seven days a week, 365 days a year – 366 on a leap year. We make no apologies for it, and are quite proud of it. Just like Gov. Palin, we don’t retreat. We reload.
