Sarah Palin: Are You Capable of Decency, Rahm Emanuel?

Posted by Dr. Fay on February 1, 2010

Complete transcript of Governor Palin’s Facebook Note:

Are You Capable of Decency, Rahm Emanuel?

The newly-released mind-boggling, record-smashing $3,400,000,000,000 federal budget invites plenty of opportunity to debate the merits of incurring more and more debt that will drown the next generation of Americans. Never has it been possible to spend your way out of debt. So… let the debate begin.

Included in the debate process will be opportunities for our president to deliberate internally the wisdom of this debt explosion, along with other economic, military and social issues facing our country. Our president will discuss these important issues with Democrat leaders and those within his inner circle. I would ask the president to show decency in this process by eliminating one member of that inner circle, Mr. Rahm Emanuel, and not allow Rahm’s continued indecent tactics to cloud efforts. Yes, Rahm is known for his caustic, crude references about those with whom he disagrees, but his recent tirade against participants in a strategy session was such a strong slap in many American faces that our president is doing himself a disservice by seeming to condone Rahm’s recent sick and offensive tactic.

The Obama Administration’s Chief of Staff scolded participants, calling them, “F—ing retarded,” according to several participants, as reported in the Wall Street Journal.

Just as we’d be appalled if any public figure of Rahm’s stature ever used the “N-word” or other such inappropriate language, Rahm’s slur on all God’s children with cognitive and developmental disabilities – and the people who love them – is unacceptable, and it’s heartbreaking.

A patriot in North Andover, Massachusetts, notified me of Rahm’s “retarded” slam. I join this gentleman, who is the father of a beautiful child born with Down Syndrome, in asking why the Special Olympics, National Down Syndrome Society and other groups condemning Rahm’s degrading scolding have been completely ignored by the White House. No comment from his boss, the president?

As my friend in North Andover says, “This isn’t about politics; it’s about decency. I am not speaking as a political figure but as a parent and as an everyday American wanting my child to grow up in a country free from mindless prejudice and discrimination, free from gratuitous insults of people who are ostensibly smart enough to know better… Have you no sense of decency, sir?”

Mr. President, you can do better, and our country deserves better.

  1. Well, Sarah the remarks from Rham Emanuel are typical of our present administration.

Remember their comments about the tea parties and of course about you “Sarah.”

They walk only one road and are totally incapable of reaching across the aisle or listening to Americans.

But,we have choices and I’ve listed a few below.

    1. Sarah is and will continue to be our “voice.” SUPPORT SARAH!
    2. Americans need to – not only blog, talk and shake their heads, but pick up the phone and call their representatives in Washington.
    3. Many of our Democrats are starting to have doubts about the present administration and they are anxious to hear from you…
    4. Insist that the remaining stimulus money, HARP, TARP, etc. be returned to us including interest – before any more money is spent by Mr. Obama.
    4. We have to retrieve that signed blank check that we gave to Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

I don’t have a clue how this can be accomplished, but I’m betting there are some retired professionals, attys, politicians that do know how we can stop the runaway spending.

Future generations are depending on us and we just can’t continue being complacent – May God Bless America

    To Norine H,
Just have to respond to your comments because we are now getting into one of the really ugly aspects of this evolving Totalitarian Regime and their proposed Healthcare nightmare. Eugenics is an intellectual term for de-population and the progressives/socialists that surround Obama are pushing it through under ‘legalse’ terminology so that the average person will have difficulty translating it. Search out and read those portions that matter and you will see Sarah was right. History is repeating itself. In Nazi Germany it began with over 6 million Jews, but less is mentioned about the nutzlosenesser.
‘Nutzlosenesser’ ( which translates into ‘useless eaters’)are people deemed by the system to be useless to society. Among them are; the sick,or physically infirmed, the elderly and mentally afflicted. The system considers them unproductive, a liability on society, and therfore disposable… Sarah did not exaggerate when she called them death panels.
To answer your question Norine, the ruling elite will decide who lives and who dies. Of course this will not apply to them.

    Well said Sarah,
I do hope some of these comments reach you, at least those that contain some substance.
Along with the likes of Pelosi, Dodd and Geithner ad infinitum, ad nauseum,Rahm Emanuel heads a very long list of crooked, corrupt, selfish, egotistical and greedy gangsters. He is also smart, evil and crude. Until these evil entities are removed, and our Government restructured by honest men and women, men and women with constitutional values, our nation will continue to slide into ‘Socialistic’ oblivion. In his own words Obama said “We will fundamentally transform the United States!” He was serious!
Michelle Malkin and Dick Morris have covered the corruption and greed that permeates Washington & Wall St. quite well in their books.

If the policy of this administration reflects the beliefs of czars such as Holdren, Sunstein, likely this denigration and dismissal of these special children is reflective of the eugenics movement espoused by Sanger/progressives. You wonder who they deem to “deserve” to live- could it be only those that exhibit “perfection” and agree with their politics??
