Guess the boys at The Daily Caller spent a bit too much time at the frat house and not enough time in their college library. (Or maybe it’s in one of their Jr. High tree forts where their leader gathers the boys to “report” their “conservative” issues.) Their claims about what I supposedly “demanded” of the Tonight Show are, in their frat boy terms, B.S. This is not the first time we’ve had to correct their sloppy “journalism.” Paraphrasing and dramatizing sure doesn’t fit into any fair and balanced image, especially from a little fella loving his title of FOX News Channel host. Maybe those bow ties are a bit too tight, bros.

In contrast to your erroneous reporting (Hey! Come to think of it, this time it’s merely erroneous; it’s not your usual misogynist slant!), we loved visiting the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I had a blast on the show. Leno’s team was top notch, professional, and funny; and some even brought their families to work that day so they could meet mine. That was neat! Thanks for the memories, Jay!

I’m looking forward to reading Dave Berg’s great new book “Behind the Curtain: An Insider’s View of Jay Leno’s Tonight Show.” Dave reached out by email to my team to share the following: “I consider Gov. Palin’s booking on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show one of the best gets I ever got. I had worked long and hard to book her, both during and after her vice-presidential campaign. She turned out to be a charming guest, who also did a killer standup, and her ratings won the night by a large margin. You can’t ask for more from a guest.”

Thank you for the kind comments, Dave. Back at ya!

Please check out Dave’s new book. It looks like a really fun read. You can get a copy here: http://is.gd/HLzN4o or here: http://is.gd/z7Yknh

Trig’s buddy, Jill Hadassah, joins the Palin family

—————–

Happy household this weekend as we welcomed a new addition to our family! Our new four-legged love, Jill Hadassah, comes to us with great training under her collar by our friend in Iowa Becky Beach and her Puppy Jake Foundation, along with Canine Craze in Des Moines. The Puppy Jake charity trains dogs for adoption by our service men and women, including those recovering from PTSD, as well as families with special needs. Jill Hadassah has been trained to be Trig’s buddy, and we’re over the moon to finally have her home! Thrilled, too, because all the rescue dogs and cats our kids have adopted over the years will hopefully learn something from our first dog trained to do anything! She’s brilliant and beautiful, and we feel very blessed to have her.

Thank you so much, Becky and Puppy Jake Foundation, for working with this tail-wagging bundle of love. We’ll treasure her, as she joins the rest of the current furry members of our family: Lucy, Lola, and Wilson.

Please visit the Puppy Jake Foundation to learn more about the great work they do, and join us in supporting them if you feel led to do so!

Gov. Palin: Sending illegal juveniles home is only compassionate response to all involved

Posted by Dr. Fay on August 8, 2014

From article by Tony Lee at Breitbart.com:

Sarah Palin: Help Americans in Poverty Instead of Welcoming Illegals

7 Aug 2014

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said America needed to take care of its citizens, especially those in poverty, before welcoming illegal immigrants like President Barack Obama has been doing.

In a recent video message on her SarahPalinChannel, Palin said there are American cities like Detroit, Chicago, Newark, Compton, and “Obama’s Chicago” that are impoverished and would be even more impacted by illegal immigration. Palin, who has always stood for America’s “forgotten man,” has emphasized that massive illegal immigration hurts American workers of all backgrounds and races, including legal immigrants.

“We need to help our fellow Americans move out of poverty before we can try to rescue the rest of the world,” Palin said. “Remember, charity starts at home. It’s about time our leaders in Congress understand that.”

Illegal immigrants have been flooding across the border after Obama unilaterally gave some DREAMers temporary amnesty and work permits in 2012, and Obama has threatened to grant more work permits and amnesty to millions of more illegal immigrants. In addition, residents from coast to coast have said that they do not have the resources to take care of illegal immigrant juveniles being dumped in their communities.

Palin said the “only response” to the border crisis “that is compassionate to everyone involved” is to send the illegal immigrant juveniles back home. Palin said doing so is the only way to discourage more illegal immigrants from making harrowing journeys where they can get raped, murdered, or exploited by cartels and smugglers. She suggested airing footage of illegal immigrant juveniles, 90% of whom are teenagers, being flown back in Central American countries to prevent more illegal immigrants from risking their lives by trying to illegally enter the United States.

Deterring more illegal immigration is not only compassionate to the juveniles, as Palin noted, but also to the “millions of working-class Americans who are struggling” to get by in Obama’s economy.

Gov. Palin: Watch this video to see which Vice President referred to Africa as a ‘nation’

Posted by Dr. Fay on August 7, 2014

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page today:

Photo: #TBT – Can you imagine a Vice President not knowing that Africa is a continent, not a nation? Think of how embarrassing this could be for our country if this Vice President actually referred to Africa as a "nation" while speaking to the very leaders of the sovereign nations that make up the diverse African continent. Imagine how truly embarrassing this would be if it actually happened and was caught on tape... instead of just being a lie based on false anonymous "leaks" from losing and disgruntled campaign consultants. Man, I bet if this ever REALLY happened in real life the media would be all over the story, right? Well, watch this video to see which one of us actually thinks Africa is a nation (hint: it's not me!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U7S3Aq51II #throwbackthursday - Sarah Palin

Remember the “9/11 Cross” that rose like a beautiful symbol of hope out of the ashes of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center? A group of angry atheists armed with attorneys tried to keep it out of the September 11 Museum in New York. Thankfully their absurd lawsuit was thrown out by the courts, and that’s a victory on many levels. Check out this video I made on the topic: http://bit.ly/X1VDYv

(Updated) Bristol Palin: Meriam Ibrahim and her family are now safe and free in Italy!

Posted by Dr. Fay on July 25, 2014

Governor Palin tweeted a link to this article at Bristol’s Blog today:

Meriam Ibrahim and Her American Family Free in Italy!

MA

Wonderful news!!

I’ve written about Meriam Ibrahim herehere, here and here. Thank you to all of you who urged diplomatic action on her behalf, to save her life and the lives of her American children. As you remember, she was imprisoned because of her Christian faith.  Given the chance to renounce Christianity, she refused.  What amazing courage!

I’m so happy to tell you that she and her family are now safe and free in Italy!

The ACLJ reports:

After being under U.S. protection in the American Embassy in Khartoum for the last month, Meriam her two young American children Martin and Maya, and her American husband Daniel were flown out of Sudan on an Italian government plane, escorted by Italian personnel.

This is a huge victory for religious liberty.  Meriam, Martin, and Maya have gone from suffering on death row in a brutal prison because of Meriam’s Christian faith to freedom in Italy.

It is believed that Meriam and her American family will be traveling to the U.S. in a matter of days, but today they are safe and free in Italy.

We are thankful for the Italian government’s critical involvement in this case.

Fox News also reported on this great news!

Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian woman who faced a death sentence for refusing to renounce her faith, has been flown to Italy on an Italian government jet, accompanied by that country’s vice-minister for foreign affairs.

Reuters reported that Italian television broadcast images of Ibrahim, 27, arriving at Rome’s Ciampino airport accompanied by her family and Italian politician Lapo Pistelli. Earlier, Pistelli had posted a picture on his Facebook page depicting himself with Ibrahim and her two children. The caption, translated from Italian, read “With Meriam, Maya, Martin and [Ibrahim's husband] Daniel, a few minutes from Rome. Mission accomplished.”

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was among those who greeted the plane, calling it “a day of celebration.”

At times like these, I am SO thankful for you guys, who were willing to pray and sign petitions on behalf of Meriam.  Thank you!!

Thank you, Bristol, for keeping everyone informed.  And thank God for His deliverance of Dr. Meriam Ibrahim and her family out of the hands of those who persecuted her for her faith.

Sadly, Obama is too busy suppressing religious freedom in this country to care about religious freedom in another country.  Just before the 2008 election, Pastor Steve Foss wrote that God had told him in 2006 that after George W. Bush that America would elect her most ungodly President ever.  Here is an excerpt from Pastor Foss’s letter, which you can read in full here.

I want to put this deep in your spirit. I am speaking as a prophet. The words I’m about to tell you are “thus saith the Lord”. If Barack Obama is elected, the attacks against free speech, against those who believe differently than he does, and the systematic use of the government and laws to silence the voice of fundamental Christians will be unlike anything ever seen in this nation before.

We have been forewarned.  And we need to do everything we can to remove Obama from office by impeachment if necessary and to tie his hands from mischief during his last two years in office by electing a Republican majority in both the House and Senate.   Boots on the ground are very important, but most importantly, pray and vote!

Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin were the top picks of  voters in the Western Conservative Summit straw poll for president in 2016.

All three were speakers at the three-day event that concluded Sunday at Denver’s Hyatt Regency hotel. Carson, a columnist and retired neurosurgeon, received 22 percent of the vote, Cruz had 13 percent and Palin 12 percent.

The ballot included two dozen Republicans. The rest of the top 10, in order of finish, were Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Sen. Rick Santorum, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Rand Paul, former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey, former Rep. Allen West and Rep. Paul Ryan.

Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie were among others on the ballot.

Votes were accepted in person, via text and online. The fifth annual event drew a crowd of 3,300, said John Andrews, director of the Centennial Institute, the conservative think tank at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood.

Gov. Palin: Honored to meet so many in Denver, including ‘Truth Transcends Color’ and Dennis Prager

Posted on Governor Palin’s Facebook page this afternoon:

      —————————

Thank you, Colorado Christian University and Western Conservative Summit! You’re doing great work raising the next generation to effectively defend our republic. I loved being with you yesterday in Denver; it was an absolute honor to meet so many good people there including empowered patriots from American Conservatives of Color (www.ACofC.com).

“Truth Transcends Color” is their motto. Preach it! American Conservatives of Color, your core values statement is the answer to how that invisible wall of separation crashes down, making way for the united effort needed to rebuild this great nation! You are inspiring, bold, and RIGHT as you declare, “The days of saying ‘Someone needs to do something’ are over.” Together we are that someone!

Another highlight was shaking hands with the talented and wise Dennis Prager. I’d just watched his great work that day on the Elijah List where his impressive teaching video is posted. It’s short; it’s awesome; it’s appreciated! Watch what’s described as “everything you need to know about the Middle East conflict in one short video”: http://youtu.be/8EDW88CBo-8 Love this!
