Sarah Palin Takes On All Climategate Deniers

Posted by Gary P Jackson on December 18, 2009

Whew! Man, that Sarah Palin sure has started a real firestorm now that she has attacked the Holy Church of Global Warming! It’s one thing to knock ObamaCare on it’s backside, there are only billions of dollars in payoffs and corruption riding on that deal. But the global warming hustle truly is the whole enchilada!

Not billions, but trillions of dollars will change hands. Government control like you’ve never even dreamed of will come to pass. Taxes will flow into incompetent government hands like never before. Energy will “necessarily skyrocket.”

Of course, the real story is all of the money that will be made trading “carbon credits.” Al Gore, the Bernie Madoff of the climate change movement, has made hundreds of millions of dollars already off this scam, and stands to make billions.

As I wrote in an earlier piece, Obama and his friends also stand to make out like bandits if cap and trade laws are enacted. The Chicago Climate Exchange is already up and running, and ready to go when all of these insane laws are enacted. Of course, being Chicago, there is absolutely, positively no corruption going on with this deal. Uh huh. There’s this bridge for sale that you just must see if you believe that one!

Just to bring everyone up to speed. If you remember the failed, disgraced Governor from California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, decided to go off on Sarah for her resent stance on the hoax, the greatest lie ever told. Sarah, in what is her usual style, fired right back with this:

Greener Than Thou?

Why is Governor Schwarzenegger pushing for the same sorts of policies in Copenhagen that have helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment? Perhaps he will recall that I live in our nation’s only Arctic state and that I was among the first governors to create a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with climate change. While I and all Alaskans witness the impacts of changes in weather patterns firsthand, I have repeatedly said that we can’t primarily blame man’s activities for those changes. And while I did look for practical responses to those changes, what I didn’t do was hamstring Alaska’s job creators with burdensome regulations so that I could act “greener than thou” when talking to reporters.

- Sarah Palin

BOOM, taste my nightstick! (What!?! You KNOW we’re gonna go to that one early and often!)

Sarah has what is probably the most reasonable stance there is on the whole notion of climate change. Being someone in a position of power she honestly didn’t have the luxury to just call these liars out and blow them off. And, as someone who spent time as her state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, Sarah knows more than the average politician and humble blogger about the subject.

Climate change may be happening, but the climate on earth has a history of changing. The earth is millions of years old, for goodness sake! We’ve had heat waves and ice ages. All before man even existed! Obviously if the entire earth was covered in ice, and we now have places where it is not, there was some significant warming.

Anyhow, one failed California Governor pwned.

But why did Arnold even bother to speak up? What prompted all of this? Well, as always, follow the money! Our friend and colleague, The Might Serf, went to town on this one and found some fascinating information:

Schwarzenegger vs. Palin: Arnold has no credibility

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, from the COP15 Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Governor Schwarzenegger took a swipe at Governor Palin. He was asked about her editorial published in the Washington Post last week. He replied:

“You have to ask: what was she trying to accomplish? Is she really interested in this subject or is she interested in her career and in winning the nomination? You have to take all these things with a grain of salt.

Tack on “mind reader” to Arnie’s long list professional talents…

Not only is that conjecture on his part, it’s also a convenient way to avoid the subject matter and deal with what she said. Arnold deflects the debate, as is common with the global warming faithful and turns it into a ‘what’s Palin going to do next’ moment.

Then he goes on to say:

We in California have proven it over and over that you can protect the economy, and you can protect the environment.” …

I don’t think you have to choose. I think it is nonsense talk to say let’s talk first about the economy.

Either Arnold needs advisors that don’t lie to him or he has a serious literacy issue. The last time I checked, the statewide California unemployment rate was at 12.3 percent. With the highest rated area, a town about forty minutes east of where I’m sitting, called El Centro at 22.6 percent.

The report goes on to say:

As a Californian who happens to believe that we are in a current trend of “global cooling” (and yes, lefties that also is a “change” in climate) and also someone forced to live under the green foot of my state government, I got a little more joy from that post than some.

She correctly points out the economic mess California is in and accurately points to one of the main culprits. Arnold keeps talking about these “green jobs” (sounds familiar) but when you look at the numbers I posted above, the small number of positions that open up in the market aren’t enough to even put a small dent into those figures.

When my car can run off of algae, we may see a boost in the green economy. Until then, realize what makes an economy work and what doesn’t. Like new regulations and laws for instance… Those are instant job killers. If you mandate small businesses that are already stretched too thin, they will lay off workers. They don’t have a choice. In business, you do whatever it takes to make it to the next month.

Now, to the “why” in Governor Palin’s statement.

I remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger spent his time trying to convince American’s that they should buy a Hummer. Well those days are long gone and a new Climate Crusader has emerged in place of that carbon spewing truck peddler.

Schwarzenegger is now one of the most outspoken global warming alarmists in public office today. He has dramatically steered this state toward more “green” centered policies, programs, and worst of all, mandates. So did he have an epiphany? Did his wife’s family convince him over turkey dinner during the holidays?

Probably not, but I believe Robert Kennedy, his wife’s cousin, has everything to do with Arnold’s conduct in regards to environmental policies.

Robert Kennedy is not only the governor’s relative but he is also one of Arnold’s closest advisors, even if he does serve in an unofficial capacity. The two of them can be seen at various press announcements and environmental meetings talking about their great plans to reconstruct California into a “green economy.”

There’s just one problem with that… A slight conflict of interest arises when one looks over the contracts and plans Californians will be forking money over for in these deals. Robert Kennedy is a Venture Partner and Senior Advisor for a company called VantagePoint Venture Partners. VantagePoint has a multimillion-dollar stake in a company called BrightSource, who produces solar technology. BrightSource has lobbied to build a massive energy project in the Mojave Desert. The project would provide power to 142,000 homes and cost about $2 billion. BrightsSource hopes to build three solar-powered plants situated on land near the Nevada-California borders. As Schwarzenegger told a joint conference of Mexican and U.S. governors, “They’re going to blanket the world with solar panels.”

Last year Governor Schwarzenegger also announced a plan to build a massive electric vehicle grid that would cover most of California. At the press conference in San Francisco, Robert Kennedy said “Creating an energy-independent economy is our generation’s moon-shot.” Whatever “moon-shot” means, I don’t know but I don’t like it. He also said “For too long we’ve believed that economy and environment stood at odds with each other. By coming together in this time of turmoil to build a clean transportation infrastructure, this generation will fuel the economic and environmental prosperity of generations to come.” Given the fact that Robert attended that conference as a representative of VantagePoint, you better believe they are looking to rake in millions from the deal.

In fact, there is an overwhelming amount of information out there that points to Governor Schwarzenegger’s real motives in pushing a “green” economy. It’s all about money and it has little to do with the environment. As is usually the case when it comes to the big names in the Climate Change “movement.” Just do a quick search into Al Gore’s finances to see how philanthropic that guy really is. I’ll go out on a limb here and call the man a profiteer.

As far as Governor Palin’s motives behind publishing words of warning and giving Obama advice (good advice) on environmental matters… She’s trying to help the country. Nothing else. She has no financial ties or personal ties to an industry that stands to heavily profit from the outcome of the Copenhagen Summit. In fact, I’ve done a lot of research into Governor Palin’s background and connections… I’ve linked her up to the Rotary Club and the NRA. That’s it.

By the way, for any of you that still think Arnold resides on the right, politically speaking. The left-wing Annenberg Foundation, helped cover the bill for his trip to Copenhagen through a California State Protocol Foundation grant. I wonder if Robert made the journey too???

Regular readers of this website will recognize the name Annenberg Foundation straightaway. This is the very same Annenberg Foundation that gave the unrepentant murdering domestic terrorist William Ayers, and his good old buddy Barack Obama $60 million dollars for “education,” which Ayers and Obama then in turn gave to radical groups like ACORN, you know, “for the children.”

You can read more from The Mighty Serf here.

Look, Schwarzenegger is married to a “Kennedy.” That alone makes him suspect on many levels, but it’s not really all that hard to figure out what is going on here.

Whole lot of corruption goin’ on ‘round here!

Now….As we talked about before, Sarah’s two Op-Eds she wrote for the Washington Post were some of the most read of the entire year. The one she wrote in July on the subject of global warming was the third most read. Predictably, the loons have lost their minds over this! In the world of the democrat/communist, dissenting thought, and differences of opinion, simply are not tolerated, and most certainly not written.

The Washington Post has, of course, been savaged for allowing that woman to sully the pages of their fine paper. The reaction by the crazies has been hilarious, well worth the time to observe. These people’s entire lives are based on lies, and they can’t justify themselves. Liberalism is one of those things that simply cannot withstand the light of day, or hockey moms from Wasilla, Alaska.

So, WaPo trots out their resident hack, Eugene Robinson, to satisfy the moonbats. What could go wrong?

Sarah, obviously loving this little exchange, offered this up for the WaPo, as well as all of her Facebook supporters:

My Letter to the Washington Post

Letter to the Editor

Washington Post

Thursday, December 17, 2009

I’d like to thank Eugene Robinson for highlighting Alaska’s achievements on climate change ["Palin’s own ‘Climate- gate,’" op-ed, Dec. 15] and for noting that I’ve “treated the issue as serious, complex, and worthy of urgent attention,” while making “any number of pragmatic, reasonable, smart decisions as governor.” But he’s wrong to suggest that my views have somehow changed or that now I’ll have to “renounce” my past efforts.

Once again: I don’t deny that climate change is real. In creating a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with the issue, I said that “Alaska’s climate change strategy must be built on sound science and the best available facts and must recognize Alaska’s interest in economic growth and the development of its resources.” That goal made sense to me then, and it makes sense to me now.

Mr. Robinson tries to make hay out of the fact that I asked the group to advise me regarding opportunities to participate in “carbon-trading markets.” But considering voluntary participation in carbon-trading programs is much different from endorsing the economically disastrous cap-and-tax proposals put forward by Democrats in Washington. Those proposals will burden our job creators and raise energy prices for all of us, and that’s why I oppose them.

As governor of Alaska, I sought common-sense solutions that took real-world costs and benefits into account. That’s what I’m looking for now. But that’s not what’s on the table in Washington or in Copenhagen.

Sarah Palin, Wasilla, Alaska

BOOM, taste my nightstick!

Obviously, Sarah has hoisted this entire bunch of nimrods by their own petards. It’s glorious to watch a politician who will actually fight back when these liars in the media and RINOs attack. I certainly wish President George Bush, an honorable and decent man, would have had ½ the spunk this gal from Alaska has. The entire world might be different today. (sigh)

Of course, what’s a good story about taking the global warming hoaxers to the woodshed without some real meat and potatoes. As you know the Climategate scandal was uncovered in Russia where, ironically, their media is open, and relatively honest.

From Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government:

ClimateGate Just Got Much, Much Bigger

Over at ICECAP.us Meteorologist Joe D’Aleo has posted an item on a “Russian Bombshell” highly relevant to the ClimateGate scandal. The Russian media first posted the story and now some Brits are loving it.

The long and the short of it is best summarized by the Telegraph’s James Dellingpole: “What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock.”

That is, we have yet further evidence that the data is being cooked to make the long-running claim of an increase in global temperatures, and now to diminish the apparent cooling of said temps. As the gang at EU referendum tout, “it is in Soviet Union that the CRU, NOAA, NASA show the greatest warming.”

Around the world temperature stations have been widely decommissioned in rural and higher elevations, and we see an over-emphasis on increasingly urbanized (and therefore warmer) stations in the curious selection process as to what temperatures should count, and how much. The latter point references the fact that the data is then adjusted, and we are also seeing an increase in adjusting urbanized (that is, artificially warm) temperature records not down, but upward.

Excerpted in pertinent part, Joe Writes:

On Tuesday, the Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA) issued a report claiming that the Hadley Center for Climate Change based at the headquarters of the British Meteorological Office in Exeter (Devon, England) had probably tampered with Russian-climate data.

The IEA believes that Russian meteorological-station data did not substantiate the anthropogenic global-warming theory. …The data of stations located in areas not listed in the Hadley Climate Research Unit Temperature UK (HadCRUT) survey often does not show any substantial warming in the late 20th century and the early 21st century.

The HadCRUT database includes specific stations providing incomplete data and highlighting the global-warming process, rather than stations facilitating uninterrupted observations. …

IEA analysts say climatologists use the data of stations located in large populated centers that are influenced by the urban-warming effect more frequently than the correct data of remote stations.

The reason this cherry-picking is relevant — as is the apparent similar gamesmanship being played with other countries examined in recent days including China and New Zealand — because our NOAA compiles the global dataset and the rest work from it. So when CRU claimed that it “lost” its raw data, what they’re saying is the claim to have lost which stations they chose from NOAA’s compilation, making it impossible for those who wish to check it to discern how they got the answer they did.

If it is what it appears to be, and my dozen years working with these people and the past few weeks peeking further inside thanks to ClimateGate tell me that it is, then this is root-cause corruption.

Meanwhile, they are scrambling madly to stitch up an agreement in Copenhagen politically committing the U.S. to the long-desired wealth-transfer. The question is which moves faster, the collapse of the increasingly likely scientific fraud, or the global governance set.

Look, there are a lot of links there, and in incredible amount of information that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that pretty much all of the information used by the global warming hoaxers is not only faulty, but an absolute lie. You simply must take time to investigate them.

These dishonest scientists have cooked the books, withheld and manipulated data to suit their needs, all in an effort to pull off the greatest scam in history. The greatest lie ever told.

This is the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, and UFOs on a global scale! Why? Money, of course. All of these scientists make money off of government and private foundation grants. No crisis, no funding. No funding and you have a lot of “climate scientists” working at McDonald’s asking you if you want fries with that, which is probably where they belong.

And of course, there is power. Look at all of the power that would be wielded if this wasn’t a hoax, and we allowed measures to fight this mythical beast to be put in place. It would be enormous.

The bottom line is this: The climate exists, that’s indisputable. The climate changes, well…duh! Live in Texas and you may see all 4 seasons in one day! That’s real climate change.

But seriously, the climate indeed changes, that’s why the marketing managers over at Big Global Warming, and Big Government, changed the name to “climate change” once it got out that the earth had actually been in a cooling mode since the mid 1990’s. Thus Big Climate was born.

There is no credible data though, that man can cause the climate to change. Now, can man screw up his local environment? You bet’cha! For example, the environmental whack jobs have turned America’s breadbasket, the San Joaquin Valley of California into a desert because of a minnow. Millions of acres of land that used to feed the world, literally, is now a dust bowl, all because man has screwed with nature.

The answer to this sort of thing is to allow the states, not the federal government, to regulate the activities of the insane. This also goes for those who pollute, and well, even litter. We all want a clean world, a healthy world. But we also want a world that places a premium on liberty and freedom. A world were we, the individual, are what matters, not Big Government, Big Climate, Or Big Al Gore.

As the wheels start to come off of the global warming hoax wagon, men like Al Gore, who has bored us to death with his inane braying, need to be rounded up and jailed. The same goes for politicians and officials who have pushed these lies on the world.

There is simply no way to measure the amount of blood and treasure that has been lost in pursuit of this hoax. Industries destroyed, jobs lost, and lives destroyed. We could be talking about trillions of dollars, but how can one even measure the destruction these liars have caused?

Well, for now, we have a few brave souls, like Sarah Palin, who has the power of her position as the true American leader, to take these people and their lies on. Thank God for that.

Sarah Palin’s WaPo Op-Ed On Climate Change 3rd Most Read Of The Year

Posted by Gary P Jackson on December 12, 2009

An Op-Ed Sarah Palin wrote for the Washington Post, that appeared in the July 14, 2009 edition, entitled The Cap and Tax Dead End, turns out to be the third most read Op-Ed of 2009. The most recent Op-Ed Sarah penned for the august daily, which appeared this past Wednesday, December 9th, entitled Copenhagen’s Political Science, clocks in at the 21st most read.

Obviously that’s sort of big news, or at least a significant piece of trivia, as WaPo runs thousands of Op-Eds yearly. This obviously says that when Sarah speaks, people listen, and when Sarah writes, people read. Of course, supporters know that already, and her record shattering books sales, and 1.1 million Facebook supporters that read her every note, certainly attest to Sarah’s ability to draw readers in and hold their attention.

As you may remember, when Sarah wrote the Op-Ed in July, the left went berserk, and trotted out known climate scientist, John F.Kerry, who served in Vietnam, to deliver a meager rebuttal, which of course was an epic fail.

This latest Op-Ed though has the entire left all wee-wee’d up! As you know, Sarah has taken on the biggest liar in the whole global warming scam, Al Gore, as well as demanding, for a second time, that Obama take a pass on Copenhagen. This of course has the usual suspects losing their minds, while they perform mental and verbal gymnastics trying to justify their pagan beliefs, in the wake of the global warming hoax being exposed to the general public, with more proof coming out daily.

What is remarkable though, are the attacks on the Washington Post itself, for even running Sarah’s Op-Eds! Deliciously, Greg Sargent of the WaPo’s own Plum Line blog, is in high dudgeon and full cross burning mode over this:

Sarah Palin’s Copenhagen-Bashing Op-Ed One Of Most Read WaPo Opinion Pieces Of The Year

Here’s a dispiriting postscript to the massive flap over The Washington Post’s decision to publish an Op ed by Sarah Palin on climate change, a piece that has been widely criticized as riddled with falsehoods.

I’m told by the paper’s insiders that her piece was one of the most-read WaPo opinion pieces of the year, coming in 21st in page views out of literally hundreds of opinion articles. An earlier Palin Op ed in the paper on the same topic was the third most read of the year.

A lot of this is probably driven by heavy outside linkage. But still, the fact that Sarah Palin, of all people, is able to command such attention for her views on the science of climate change, of all things, is kind of amazing.

To be clear, I’m not defending the decision to run the piece. I wouldn’t have run it. I’m just pointing out the undeniable fact that the woman’s name gets people clicking. Until people stop clicking, Palin and her views will continue to get attention.

Don’t you just love the “loving” and “tolerant” left? We were laughing ourselves silly when we read this in the early hours of the morning. The consensus among friends, and hey if consensus is good enough for science……Anyhow, we were all asking ourselves if these people really don’t see just how much like Nazis they sound like.

Remember when the left was spreading lies about Sarah “banning books?” You know, the list that was going around that had books on it that weren’t even written yet, when she was Mayor of Wasilla, and supposedly banning them? Yeah, that one!

Remember how insane the left went over this “book banning” hoax? Remember how “evil” they thought Sarah was for “banning books?” You know censorship man. It was almost as insane as they go over the global warming hoax. Hmmm, the left sure believes in a lot of hoaxes. Wouldn’t that basically make “progressives” supremely gullible?

But I digress.

These people cannot compete in the marketplace of ideas, so their answer is to always attempt to silence the competition. It’s truly all they’ve got.

Notice how Mr Sargent starts off by being “dispirited?” Well, he should be. Sarah Palin is single-handedly exposing their nonsensical lives, and beliefs. Sarah is single-handedly putting the brakes on their crazy ideas for “fundamentally remaking America.” Sarah is a force of nature they cannot stop!

Then, Mr Sargent goes into full Alinsky mode by saying her piece was “widely criticized as riddled with falsehoods.” Widely criticized by who? What are the falsehoods? Who knows! The reader is left to their own faith, or lack thereof, in Mr Sargent. The old “trust me, it just is” ploy.

Yeah, let’s trust a guy who runs around screaming like his hair is on fire and telling you “don’t read this, don’t listen to the bad lady!” Yeah… for sane people, that means: “I might ought to take a look at what this guy doesn’t want me to see. It might just be something!

What’s hilarious is Mr Sargent’s incredulity at the fact people would read, and take stock in, something written by “Little Old Sarah Palin from Wasilla.”

This is where I always just stop and shake my head. You wonder if these so-called journalists are capable of doing even the most basic of research on their subjects, or if they just sit around in an echo chamber believing their own BS.

So let me ask Mr Sargent this: Just why WOULD the public want to listen to a woman who is a lifelong environmentalist and conservationist? Why WOULD the public want to listen to a woman who was her state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, in an energy rich, and environmentally conscious state, and a woman, who as Governor, chaired an multi-state agency that was also tasked with both energy regulation as well as environmentally sound practices?

Why WOULD the public want to listen to Sarah Palin, who as AOGCC chair, IOGCC chair, and Governor, has a stellar record is safeguarding Alaska’s environment, and holding violators of policy accountable? Why indeed would anyone want to listen to her about subjects concerning the environment!

As remarkable as the fact that Sarah’s Op-Eds are well read and taken seriously by millions is, the real story here is just how totally sad the “progressives” have become. Their little world view is being shattered. Their narrow-mindedness has been exposed to the world.

Most people in America are fair minded. Even when someone is saying things we don’t believe in, we give them the opportunity to speak. In fact, our right to speak is guaranteed by the very first amendment to our Constitution. It’s the very first right in the Bill of Rights, a set of rules that restrict what government can do, a restraint on government from infringing our God given rights. Men have died protecting these rights.

Only those without real ideas and real solutions want to silence others. Only those who rely on tricks and falsehoods run around screaming “the debate is over” and saying idiotic things like “the science is settled” right in the middle of the revelations that prove, without a doubt, that global warming is a hoax and a scam!

This, of course, applies to everything the left does, not just their scheme on “climate change.” The left is just as wee-wee’ed up over Sarah Palin, and many others, who dare try and stop them from destroying health care in America, and usurping our Constitution.

I have a thought for the radical left: How about instead of thumbing through your well worn copy of Saul Alinsky’s Rules, in an attempt to smear others, you actually come up with real and plausible ideas! How about you stop living in your land of fantasy and theory, and join the real world!

That’s where Sarah Palin, and the rest of us live.

Sarah Palin To Al Gore: The Climategate Scandal Exists. You Might Even Say It’s Like Gravity: You Simply Can’t Deny It

Posted by Gary P Jackson on December 10, 2009

As you know, Sarah Palin just published a powerful Op-Ed in the Washington Post. In it she calls out Obama and all of the other scam artists who are trying to sell the world a bill of goods that will lead to the destruction of mankind worldwide. First it will be economic destruction, then societal breakdown, eventually leading to the complete destruction of the human race.

All of this is the service of a hoax that is driven equally by greed and sheer lunacy.

As you also know, Al Gore has come out and responded to Sarah’s Op-Ed. I’ll say this, as wrong and dishonest as Al Gore is, unlike most of the democrat/communists, Gore stuck to the subject, no personal attacks. But man is he wrong!

You can read more about what Gore had to say here.

Sarah was quick to respond:

Steven Hayward has a great article in The Weekly Standard on the Climategate scandal. Be sure to check it out.

The response to my op-ed by global warming alarmists has been interesting. Former Vice President Al Gore has called me a “denier” and informs us that climate change is “a principle in physics. It’s like gravity. It exists.”

Perhaps he’s right. Climate change is like gravity – a naturally occurring phenomenon that existed long before, and will exist long after, any governmental attempts to affect it.

However, he’s wrong in calling me a “denier.” As I noted in my op-ed above and in my original Facebook post on Climategate, I have never denied the existence of climate change. I just don’t think we can primarily blame man’s activities for the earth’s cyclical weather changes.

Former Vice President Gore also claimed today that the scientific community has worked on this issue for 20 years, and therefore it is settled science. Well, the Climategate scandal involves the leading experts in this field, and if Climategate is proof of the larger method used over the past 20 years, then Vice President Gore seriously needs to consider that their findings are flawed, falsified, or inconclusive.

Vice President Gore, the Climategate scandal exists. You might even say that it’s sort of like gravity: you simply can’t deny it.

- Sarah Palin

Here’s a recent letter from some physicists to the members of the American Physical Society. Apparently the physicists don’t think the “science is settled.”:

Dear fellow member of the American Physical Society:

This is a matter of great importance to the integrity of the Society. It is being sent to a random fraction of the membership, so we hope you will pass it on.

By now everyone has heard of what has come to be known as ClimateGate, which was and is an international scientific fraud, the worst any of us have seen in our cumulative 223 years of APS membership. For those who have missed the news we recommend the excellent summary article by Richard Lindzen in the November 30 edition of the Wall Street journal, entitled “The Climate Science isn’t Settled,” for a balanced account of the situation. It was written by a scientist of unquestioned authority and integrity. A copy can be found among the items at http://tinyurl.com/lg266u, and a visit to http://www.ClimateDepot.com can fill in the details of the scandal, while adding spice.

What has this to do with APS? In 2007 the APS Council adopted a Statement on global warming (also reproduced at the tinyurl site mentioned above) that was based largely on the scientific work that is now revealed to have been corrupted. (The principals in this escapade have not denied what they did, but have sought to dismiss it by saying that it is normal practice among scientists. You know and we know that that is simply untrue. Physicists are not expected to cheat.)

We have asked the APS management to put the 2007 Statement on ice until the extent to which it is tainted can be determined, but that has not been done. We have also asked that the membership be consulted on this point, but that too has not been done.

This is not science. This is religion with mathematics!

As if to put an exclamation point on the global warning lie, Ed Morrissey over at Hot Air has evidence that “scientists” have falsified data to the point of turning declines in temperatures into increases.

NOAA/GHCN “homogenization” falsified climate declines into increases

At least it did in Australia, where Willis Eschenbach took a look at the raw data to determine what effect the “homogenization” process at the NOAA’s Global Historical Climate Network had on the temperature readings. Like alchemists of old, it transformed decades-long declines in temperature into rapid upward spikes completely unsupported by any of the underlying data. Eschenbach calls this “the smoking gun at Darwin Zero,” and it demonstrates further why the East Anglia CRU (which relied on NOAA/GHCN) conspired to destroy evidence requested in a Freedom of Information demand — and why CRU may have destroyed its raw data archives (via Instapundit and Volokh Conspiracy):

The second question, the integrity of the data, is different. People say “Yes, they destroyed emails, and hid from Freedom of information Acts, and messed with proxies, and fought to keep other scientists’ papers out of the journals … but that doesn’t affect the data, the data is still good.” Which sounds reasonable.

There are three main global temperature datasets. One is at the CRU, Climate Research Unit of the University of East Anglia, where we’ve been trying to get access to the raw numbers. One is at NOAA/GHCN, the Global Historical Climate Network. The final one is at NASA/GISS, the Goddard Institute for Space Studies. The three groups take raw data, and they “homogenize” it to remove things like when a station was moved to a warmer location and there’s a 2C jump in the temperature. The three global temperature records are usually called CRU, GISS, and GHCN. Both GISS and CRU, however, get almost all of their raw data from GHCN. All three produce very similar global historical temperature records from the raw data. …

Then I went to look at what happens when the GHCN removes the “in-homogeneities” to “adjust” the data. Of the five raw datasets, the GHCN discards two, likely because they are short and duplicate existing longer records. The three remaining records are first “homogenized” and then averaged to give the “GHCN Adjusted” temperature record for Darwin.

To my great surprise, here’s what I found. To explain the full effect, I am showing this with both datasets starting at the same point (rather than ending at the same point as they are often shown).

Figure 7. GHCN homogeneity adjustments to Darwin Airport combined record

YIKES! Before getting homogenized, temperatures in Darwin were falling at 0.7 Celcius per century … but after the homogenization, they were warming at 1.2 Celcius per century. And the adjustment that they made was over two degrees per century … when those guys “adjust”, they don’t mess around. And the adjustment is an odd shape, with the adjustment first going stepwise, then climbing roughly to stop at 2.4C. …

Intrigued by the curious shape of the average of the homogenized Darwin records, I then went to see how they had homogenized each of the individual station records. What made up that strange average shown in Fig. 7? I started at zero with the earliest record. Here is Station Zero at Darwin, showing the raw and the homogenized versions.

Figure 8 Darwin Zero Homogeneity Adjustments. Black line shows amount and timing of adjustments.

Yikes again, double yikes! What on earth justifies that adjustment? How can they do that? We have five different records covering Darwin from 1941 on. They all agree almost exactly. Why adjust them at all? They’ve just added a huge artificial totally imaginary trend to the last half of the raw data! Now it looks like the IPCC diagram in Figure 1, all right … but a six degree per century trend? And in the shape of a regular stepped pyramid climbing to heaven? What’s up with that?

Those, dear friends, are the clumsy fingerprints of someone messing with the data Egyptian style … they are indisputable evidence that the “homogenized” data has been changed to fit someone’s preconceptions about whether the earth is warming.

Or, in the Climategate parlance, hide the decline. If what Eschenbach says is true — and he’s looking at the raw data — Australia hasn’t warmed at all, except in the fevered imagination of the GHCN. Did the CRU use the raw data or adjusted data to reach its conclusions? Since they’ve destroyed their raw data, we won’t ever know. But what we do know is that the “adjusted” data looks nothing like the raw data, and the rapid warming is as artificial as the thoroughly discredited “hockey stick” graph that started the AGW hysteria in the first place.

Is the Earth warming? Yes, since 1650, as Eschenbach reports. Is that warming trend natural? Perhaps, perhaps not. In order to make that determination, we need a completely transparent data set, one that is free of “adjustments” from advocates masquerading as scientists. As long as the current set of alchemists remain in control of the raw data, their work should be considered completely unreliable.

It’s obvious that Sarah is right to call out Gore and all of the other crooks and cranks who are pushing the global warming hoax. Like gravity, evidence is overwhelming that crooked “climate scientists” exist, and you simply can’t deny it.

We are very glad to see Sarah speak out on this because she is the one person with the gravitas on this issue, as well as the power, to cut through the clutter, and be heard. Sarah is the one person who can bring all of this to the nation’s attention.

So far, the corrupt Obamacentric media will not report on any of this. You have to read news from Canada or the United Kingdom to get the truth. Other than Fox, the American media has been completely silent on one of the biggest scandals in history, truly the greatest lie ever told.

And remember, this isn’t just a lie, this is a lie that will effect the lives of every man woman and child on earth. This is a lie that will destroy economies. This will destroy entire industries. Billions of people worldwide will become unemployed. Their radical environmental policies will cause billions world wide to starve to death.

We are seeing it now as we turn food into ethanol. There are shortages world wide because of this, and because farmers are growing fuel instead of food, food prices on the most basic of staples have risen dangerously high.

We’ve seen this kind of hysteria before. Back in the 1960’s the loons decided that DDT was the worst substance known to man, even though the “science” used was as faulty as it could possibly be.

A woman named Rachelle Sklar wrote a book called Silent Spring. Like Gore’s book, An Inconvenient Truth, Sklar’s book was filled with half truths and out and out lies. The bottom line is this, DDT was banned.

Now DDT is one of the greatest chemicals ever invented…. Seriously…. The guy who figured out DDT was a great pesticide won a Nobel Peace Prize. This of course is when that prize actually meant something.

DDT is very effective at killing mosquitoes. Mosquitoes, of course, carry malaria.

From a piece called: The Five Most Ridiculously Over-hyped Health Scares Of All Time:

# 1 DDT:

If you’re looking for another reason to hate that hippie friend of yours that won’t shut up about the plight of every plant, animal and insect in danger of extinction, DDT is a good place to start.

Widely considered the first major victory of the environmentalist movement, DDT was banned from use in most applications thanks to a series of insanely half-assed scientific experiments and a book about birds. That book, Silent Spring, was released in 1962 and argued that DDT was not only a carcinogen, but also damaging to wildlife and, especially, certain birds. The public, upon hearing about the possibility of having to live in a world without peregrine falcons and ospreys, did what it does best in situations like this–they lost their minds without a second thought.

Soon, pesticides were the cause du jour for environmentalists and average folks that believe whatever the hell they read, and DDT was banned in 1972. The problem was, the science quoted in the book was all kinds of faulty. One scientific study that purported to show that DDT exposure led to a higher incidence of leukemia in mice was later proven to be more than a little tainted. Turns out, the mice in the experiment were fed moldy food that contained aflatoxin, a known carcinogen. When the test was repeated minus the rancid food, the test results were exactly the same, except without all of the leukemia and stuff.

As for the birds, Audubon Society studies showed that 26 different kinds of birds actually increased in population during DDT’s heyday. In cases where bird populations did decline, it was revealed that in most cases the decline began either well before widespread use of DDT began or years after it was banned. Environmentalists dispute the findings, but on the other hand … who gives a **** about the damn birds? Especially considering …

In 1972, DDT killed fewer people than …

Freaking malaria.

See, what many people don’t know about DDT is that the person who discovered that it could be used as a pesticide actually won a Nobel Peace Prize. Why? Because it was kind of effective in fighting malaria. When spraying of DDT stopped in Ceylon (present day Sri Lanka), malaria cases rose from 17 in 1963 to 2.5 freakin’ million in 1969, an increase of approximately a bajillion fofillion percent. And to this day, the mosquito remains the deadliest killer Mother Nature has to offer, with a confirmed 2 million kills per year.

But, hey at least there’s a lot more ospreys around.

Here is a real world example of why anytime someone is out there shouting and screaming like their hair is on fire, and is trying to get you to buy into their fantasy, PEOPLE DIE! Millions of them!!

Right now, if you turn on one of the TV channels that push the “green” religion like an episode of the 700 Club, you know the ones, you’ll be bombarded with ads from charities that are raising money to buy mosquito nets in bulk and send them to Africa, where millions die each and every year from malaria!

In other words, primitive 13th century technology for the 21 century. It’s truly criminal when you consider that DDT is a perfectly safe chemical that was proven to kill mosquitoes and basically wipe malaria off the face of the earth!

This would be exactly like banning polio, smallpox, or other vaccines we all routinely are give when we are kids. Can you imagine the outcry if “scientists” claimed that such beneficial vaccines should be banned, based on dubious research!

And speaking of childhood, and DDT, when we were kids growing up in the mid-sixties in our small Texas town, the city came around once a week with a pick-up truck that had a fogger mounted in the back. This old Dodge truck would go down each and every street in town during the season, spraying DDT. We didn’t have a mosquito problem.

We did have, and still do have a HUGE problem with big black birds that make a mess everywhere! They were unaffected by the “evil” concoction!

You can read about all 5 of the most ridiculously over-hyped health scares that have effected our lives over time. All of them because of loons like Al Gore and Rachelle Sklar, each and every one of them with absolutely zero science or facts to back them up. But….READER WARNING….there is some “colorful language” included, so if you are easily offended, you probably shouldn’t click here.

This global warming hoax has real world implications to Americans. The regulations that being proposed will destroy our economy. It will see pretty much every manufacturing job in the country go away. The democrat/communists have moaned and groaned for decades that the “evil Republicans” send jobs overseas. Of course, like just about everything they say and do, it’s a lie. It’s usually policies thought up by the democrat/communists that have seen companies go somewhere else for cheaper labor and a friendlier business environment.

Even more dangerous than losing millions of jobs, at a time where unemployment is at Jimmy Carter levels, these coming EPA regulations will basically shut down our energy production. No coal, that’s a given. But oil and even clean natural gas, will see severe restrictions on both exploration and production.

Our national security is already at great risk because we depend on so many aggressor nations for oil. This dependence will only, to quote Barack Obama, “skyrocket!” We already send between $700 billion and $1 trillion a year overseas to aggressor nations to buy crude oil. We are not only sending a significant amount of treasure out of our nation, by doing so, we are funding our enemies who in turn use this treasure to wage war against us in any numbers of ways.

All of this is pure insanity. It’s why people like Al Gore, Obama, and all of their disciples need to be stopped. They are criminals. Al Gore is the Bernie Madoff of the climate change movement, and should be treated accordingly. Barack Obama is committing nothing short of treason with all of his actions against this nation and it’s people.

While you think about all of this, and what you know in your hearts must be done to bring these criminals to justice, re-read this from Sarah:

Former Vice President Al Gore has called me a “denier” and informs us that climate change is “a principle in physics. It’s like gravity. It exists.”

Perhaps he’s right. Climate change is like gravity – a naturally occurring phenomenon that existed long before, and will exist long after, any governmental attempts to affect it.

However, he’s wrong in calling me a “denier.” As I noted in my op-ed above and in my original Facebook post on Climategate, I have never denied the existence of climate change. I just don’t think we can primarily blame man’s activities for the earth’s cyclical weather changes.

What Sarah says is common sense. OF COURSE the climate changes! In most parts of the world we have fairly well defined seasons of winter, spring, summer, and fall. And believe me, as a Texan, it’s not impossible to experience all four of these seasons in one 24 hour period!

Climate change is real to the extent that weather happens. But to suggest that man has the ability to truly effect it in any measurable way is nothing but arrogance and folly.

If there truly was some danger, monies would be far better spent on adapting to the changes, not heading down the road of economic and societal destruction as we are now.

It’s On…Sarah Palin vs Al Gore: Lets have A Debate!

Posted by Gary P Jackson on December 9, 2009

Sarah Palin has a solid, hard hitting Op-Ed in today’s edition of the Washington Post. Once again, in light of the fact this global warming hoax has been exposed, she demands Obama to boycott Copenhagen.

From WaPo:

Copenhagen’s Political Science

By Sarah Palin

Wednesday, December 9, 2009

With the publication of damaging e-mails from a climate research center in Britain, the radical environmental movement appears to face a tipping point. The revelation of appalling actions by so-called climate change experts allows the American public to finally understand the concerns so many of us have articulated on this issue.

Climate-gate,” as the e-mails and other documents from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia have become known, exposes a highly politicized scientific circle — the same circle whose work underlies efforts at the Copenhagen climate change conference. The agenda-driven policies being pushed in Copenhagen won’t change the weather, but they would change our economy for the worse.

The e-mails reveal that leading climate “experts” deliberately destroyed records, manipulated data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures, and tried to silence their critics by preventing them from publishing in peer-reviewed journals. What’s more, the documents show that there was no real consensus even within the CRU crowd. Some scientists had strong doubts about the accuracy of estimates of temperatures from centuries ago, estimates used to back claims that more recent temperatures are rising at an alarming rate.

This scandal obviously calls into question the proposals being pushed in Copenhagen. I’ve always believed that policy should be based on sound science, not politics. As governor of Alaska, I took a stand against politicized science when I sued the federal government over its decision to list the polar bear as an endangered species despite the fact that the polar bear population had more than doubled. I got clobbered for my actions by radical environmentalists nationwide, but I stood by my view that adding a healthy species to the endangered list under the guise of “climate change impacts” was an abuse of the Endangered Species Act. This would have irreversibly hurt both Alaska’s economy and the nation’s, while also reducing opportunities for responsible development.

Our representatives in Copenhagen should remember that good environmental policymaking is about weighing real-world costs and benefits — not pursuing a political agenda. That’s not to say I deny the reality of some changes in climate — far from it. I saw the impact of changing weather patterns firsthand while serving as governor of our only Arctic state. I was one of the first governors to create a subcabinet to deal specifically with the issue and to recommend common-sense policies to respond to the coastal erosion, thawing permafrost and retreating sea ice that affect Alaska’s communities and infrastructure.

But while we recognize the occurrence of these natural, cyclical environmental trends, we can’t say with assurance that man’s activities cause weather changes. We can say, however, that any potential benefits of proposed emissions reduction policies are far outweighed by their economic costs. And those costs are real. Unlike the proposals China and India offered prior to Copenhagen — which actually allow them to increase their emissions — President Obama’s proposal calls for serious cuts in our own long-term carbon emissions. Meeting such targets would require Congress to pass its cap-and-tax plans, which will result in job losses and higher energy costs (as Obama admitted during the campaign). That’s not exactly what most Americans are hoping for these days. And as public opposition continues to stall Congress’s cap-and-tax legislation, Environmental Protection Agency bureaucrats plan to regulate carbon emissions themselves, doing an end run around the American people.

In fact, we’re not the only nation whose people are questioning climate change schemes. In the European Union, energy prices skyrocketed after it began a cap-and-tax program. Meanwhile, Australia’s Parliament recently defeated a cap-and-tax bill. Surely other nations will follow suit, particularly as the climate e-mail scandal continues to unfold.

In his inaugural address, President Obama declared his intention to “restore science to its rightful place.” But instead of staying home from Copenhagen and sending a message that the United States will not be a party to fraudulent scientific practices, the president has upped the ante. He plans to fly in at the climax of the conference in hopes of sealing a “deal.” Whatever deal he gets, it will be no deal for the American people. What Obama really hopes to bring home from Copenhagen is more pressure to pass the Democrats’ cap-and-tax proposal. This is a political move. The last thing America needs is misguided legislation that will raise taxes and cost jobs — particularly when the push for such legislation rests on agenda-driven science.

Without trustworthy science and with so much at stake, Americans should be wary about what comes out of this politicized conference. The president should boycott Copenhagen

Sarah references this video in her piece. We’ve posted it before, but frankly it needs to be played all day, every day, as long as this global warming hoax is still being shoved down our throats:

Now, the Clown Prince of all of this, the most unabashed liar in history, Al Gore is weighing in. Remember now, Al Gore has already turned his little scam into a personal bank in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and if cap and trade passes, stands to make billions.

Nothing wrong with making money….unless it comes from the destruction of the world’s economies and enslaves the entire world’s population, and denies all peoples freedom and liberty. At that point, there’s something very, very wrong.

Readers know exactly where I stand. I think Gore, Obama, and absolutely everyone pushing this lie should at minimum be jailed for the rest of their lives. They are committing treason. These policies will not only destroy the United States, they will destroy the world.

You know, if Gore actually lived the lifestyle he wants to force you into, it might be something, but well, this guy is the biggest hypocrite alive today.

As Newsbusters Noel Sheppard reported a while back:

Hypocrisy Update: Al Gore’s Home Uses 20 Times the Energy of Average American’s

In another classic example of liberals telling Americans to “Do As I Say, Not As I Do,” Dr. Global Warming Himself, aka Al Gore, has been identified by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research as talking a good game about energy conservation while not walking the walk.

In a press release published Monday just hours after the conclusion of the Academy Awards, the “independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization” reported (emphasis mine throughout, h/t Drudge): “Last night, Al Gore’s global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy.”

The release marvelously continued:

Gore’s mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES).”

Lest we not forget that in his celluloid tribute to junk science, “the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home.”

As a frame of reference, “[t]he average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy.”

By contrast, in 2006, Dr. Global Warming “devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average.”

The release elaborated:

Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.

Yet, the really delicious hypocrisy was still to come: “Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.”

Isn’t that just ducky? This charlatan goes around the world telling people that they need to conserve energy to save the planet, and his consumption increased by almost 14 percent.

What a crock! As a result, the press release aptly concluded:

As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk the walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson.

In the immortal words of Our Gang’s Farina, you said a mouthful.

UPDATE (Ken Shepherd | 2/27/2007, 09:12 EST): The Anchoress has a good critique at her site, where she notes that President Bush’s Crawford ranch is and has been eco-friendlier than Gore’s mansion for years, although the press rarely if ever give the president credit for that.

Now bear in mind this home is just one of four that he owns. Again, nothing wrong with owning four homes or four thousand homes, but when you are going around hysterically screaming like a rabid hyena that the “earth is on fire” and demand people return to a 13th century lifestyle, well, then there are some things that need explaining.

Also, while Gore preaches that the internal combustion engine is the “greatest threat to mankind,” the guy flies on a Gulfstream private jet everywhere. Nothing wrong with that either, for most people.

I imagine every unapologetic capitalist has dreamed of reaching the level of success that allows you to travel by private jet. But most of us are not crooks, liars, and/or deranged! The Gulfstream is a fine luxury aircraft. It is also the least fuel efficient private jet one can own!

And this is from a guy who is screaming that the world is en fuego!

Andrea Mitchell over at MSNBC reports this:

In an interview that will air on MSNBC at 1:00 pm ET today, Al Gore rebutted Sarah Palin’s Washington Post op-ed and Facebook postings that question the science on climate change given the “Climate-gate” controversy.

In response, Gore said that “the deniers are persisting in an era of unreality. The entire North Polar icecap is disappearing before our eyes… What do they think is happening?

He said we’ve seen record storms, droughts, fires — and the effects taking place are exactly as predicted by these scientists for years.

Asked about Palin’s charge on Facebook that these are “doomsday scare tactics pushed by an environmental priesthood,” Gore replied that the scientific community has worked on this issue for 20 years. “It’s a principle in physics. It’s like gravity. It exists.”

Gore attributed the partisan divide (in recent Pew polls) over climate change in part to the fact that people believed to be the leadership of the modern Republican Party has adopted a global-warming-denier attitude. He said that 100% of the people who changed their opinion about global warming are conservative, adding that climate change should be a bipartisan issue like it used to be. He cited Lindsey Graham as one example of a Republican leader who accepts the science.

When asked about President Obama’s proposal for Copenhagen being even less than the Clinton-Gore proposal for Kyoto in 1997, the former vice president said. “It’s weaker than it should be, but it’s a crucial first step.” Gore added that Obama — with whom he met on Monday — shouldn’t be expected to make commitments beyond what Congress is willing to do.

And was it a mistake to do health care first, since climate change is now delayed in the Senate? Gore responded that “hindsight is 20/20.” If they had known that health care would take this long maybe they would have made different calculations, Gore said. But he noted that Obama has consistently made climate change one of his top priorities.

But: “I would always like to see more done.”

As usual, pretty much everything out of the Goreacle’s mouth, from the word hello, is a lie. The Polar Ice caps are not melting. Once can look at any number of polls, and guess what, belief in the global warming hoax is at an all time low. And when asked about priorities, people always place “climate change” dead last as things they care about.

From Newsmax:

Belief in Global Warming at All-Time Low — BEFORE Climategate

A new poll reveals that the percentage of Americans who believe carbon dioxide emissions will cause global warming has dropped dramatically in recent years.

And that poll by Harris Interactive was conducted between Nov. 2 and 11 — before the so-called “climategate” controversy erupted, calling into question the validity of some of the science supporting manmade global warming.

The poll found that the percentage of American who believe in global warming has dropped from 75 percent in 2001 and 71 percent in 2007 to just 51 percent.

At the same time, the percentage of those who do not believe in global warming has risen from 19 percent in 2001 and 23 percent in 2007 to 29 percent today, and the percentage who are unsure has climbed from 6 percent to 21 percent since 2001.

The 51 percent who believe emissions will cause climate change is by far the lowest number recorded in any Harris Poll since we started asking this question 12 years ago,” Harris Interactive disclosed.

Opinions differed sharply along party lines — 73 percent of Democrats believe in manmade global warming, compared to 28 percent of Republicans and 49 percent of Independents.

As for the upcoming international conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, only 28 percent of those polled knew that the main topic to be discussed is global warming and climate change. Nearly 10 percent said the economic crisis would be the topic, while smaller numbers cited nuclear weapons, health and epidemics, terrorism, international trade, or drugs.

Six days after the poll closed, on Nov. 17, someone hacked a server used by the Climatic Research Unit of the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and disseminated more than a thousand e-mails and other documents.

Climate change skeptics charge that the e-mails show collusion by climate scientists to skew scientific information in favor of manmade global warming.

The leaked documents “show that prominent scientists were so wedded to theories of manmade global warming that they ridiculed dissenters who asked for copies of their data, plotted how to keep researchers who reached different conclusions from publishing, and concealed apparently buggy computer code from being disclosed under the Freedom of Information law,” CBS News reported.

One climatologist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research was quoted as saying: “The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t.”

This is bound to be time for a nice video break!

I wrote yesterday about the lunacy of all of this, and referenced the previous climate hysteria over “global cooling” and the coming ice age that alarmists were running around like Chicken Littles about in the 1970’s.

Forbes Magazine’s Gary Sutton also touches on this and the poor quality of climate research:

The Fiction Of Climate Science

Why the climatologists get it wrong.

Many of you are too young to remember, but in 1975 our government pushed “the coming ice age.”

Random House dutifully printed “THE WEATHER CONSPIRACY … coming of the New Ice Age.” This may be the only book ever written by 18 authors. All 18 lived just a short sled ride from Washington, D.C. Newsweek fell in line and did a cover issue warning us of global cooling on April 28, 1975. And The New York Times, Aug. 14, 1976, reported “many signs that Earth may be headed for another ice age.”

In 1974, the National Science Board announced: “During the last 20 to 30 years, world temperature has fallen, irregularly at first but more sharply over the last decade. Judging from the record of the past interglacial ages, the present time of high temperatures should be drawing to an end…leading into the next ice age.”

You can’t blame these scientists for sucking up to the fed’s mantra du jour. Scientists live off grants. Remember how Galileo recanted his preaching about the earth revolving around the sun? He, of course, was about to be barbecued by his leaders. Today’s scientists merely lose their cash flow. Threats work.

In 2002 I stood in a room of the Smithsonian. One entire wall charted the cooling of our globe over the last 60 million years. This was no straight line. The curve had two steep dips followed by leveling. There were no significant warming periods. Smithsonian scientists inscribed it across some 20 feet of plaster, with timelines.

Last year, I went back. That fresco is painted over. The same curve hides behind smoked glass, shrunk to three feet but showing the same cooling trend. Hey, why should the Smithsonian put its tax-free status at risk? If the politicians decide to whip up public fear in a different direction, get with it, oh ye subsidized servants. Downplay that embarrassing old chart and maybe nobody will notice.

Sorry, I noticed.

It’s the job of elected officials to whip up panic. They then get re-elected. Their supporters fall in line.

Al Gore thought he might ride his global warming crusade back toward the White House. If you saw his movie, which opened showing cattle on his farm, you start to understand how shallow this is. The United Nations says that cattle, farting and belching methane, create more global warming than all the SUVs in the world. Even more laughably, Al and his camera crew flew first class for that film, consuming 50% more jet fuel per seat-mile than coach fliers, while his Tennessee mansion sucks as much carbon as 20 average homes.

His PR folks say he’s “carbon neutral” due to some trades. I’m unsure of how that works, but, maybe there’s a tribe in the Sudan that cannot have a campfire for the next hundred years to cover Al’s energy gluttony. I’m just not sophisticated enough to know how that stuff works. But I do understand he flies a private jet when the camera crew is gone.

The fall of Saigon in the ’70s may have distracted the shrill pronouncements about the imminent ice age. Science’s prediction of “A full-blown, 10,000 year ice age,” came from its March 1, 1975 issue. The Christian Science Monitor observed that armadillos were retreating south from Nebraska to escape the “global cooling” in its Aug. 27, 1974 issue.

That armadillo caveat seems reminiscent of today’s tales of polar bears drowning due to glaciers disappearing.

While scientists march to the drumbeat of grant money, at least trees don’t lie. Their growth rings show what’s happened no matter which philosophy is in power. Tree rings show a mini ice age in Europe about the time Stradivarius crafted his violins. Chilled Alpine Spruce gave him tighter wood so the instruments sang with a new purity. But England had to give up the wines that the Romans cultivated while our globe cooled, switching from grapes to colder weather grains and learning to take comfort with beer, whisky and ales.

Yet many centuries earlier, during a global warming, Greenland was green. And so it stayed and was settled by Vikings for generations until global cooling came along. Leif Ericsson even made it to Newfoundland. His shallow draft boats, perfect for sailing and rowing up rivers to conquer villages, wouldn’t have stood a chance against a baby iceberg.

Those sustained temperature swings, all before the evil economic benefits of oil consumption, suggest there are factors at work besides humans.

Today, as I peck out these words, the weather channel is broadcasting views of a freakish and early snow falling on Dallas. The Iowa state extension service reports that the record corn crop expected this year will have unusually large kernels, thanks to “relatively cool August and September temperatures.” And on Jan. 16, 2007, NPR went politically incorrect, briefly, by reporting that “An unusually harsh winter frost, the worst in 20 years, killed much of the California citrus, avocados and flower crops.”

To be fair, those reports are short-term swings. But the longer term changes are no more compelling, unless you include the ice ages, and then, perhaps, the panic attempts of the 1970s were right. Is it possible that if we put more CO2 in the air, we’d forestall the next ice age?

I can ask “outrageous” questions like that because I’m not dependent upon government money for my livelihood. From the witch doctors of old to the elected officials today, scaring the bejesus out of the populace maintains their status.

Sadly, the public just learned that our scientific community hid data and censored critics. Maybe the feds should drop this crusade and focus on our health care crisis. They should, of course, ignore the life insurance statistics that show every class of American and both genders are living longer than ever. That’s another inconvenient fact.

Think about this a minute. Some of the very same “scientists,” and geniuses in Congress and Big Government, who are screaming we must “do something or else” over this global warming hoax, are these same brain surgeons who were telling the world 30 years ago that the whole world wold look like Alaska! (As in really, really cold!)

I seem to remember these loons back then were talking about ways to actually send up soot and other particles into the atmosphere to “insulate the world.” These people have been certifiably insane for a long, long time!

I’m actually glad to see Gore respond to Sarah. Al Gore is notorious for never debating anyone, or answering any kind of questions about his lies. Sarah Palin on the other hand is known for taking people head on. You know that she will now respond to Gore, just as she has others who have questioned her.

Sarah has famously taken up residence in the president’s head after just destroying him on health care. So much so that he is addressing her while giving joint addresses to Congress and the nation! If she can do that to our “brilliant” president. What can she do to Al Gore?

Personally, I’d love to see a televised debate. Texas energy billionaire T. Boone Pickens has offered to debate Gore on numerous occasions, even to the point of offering up millions of dollars for charity, to no avail.

I envision a live pay-per-view event between the Goreacle and the ‘Cuda!

As I see it: You have a known, and serious, environmentalist who is grounded in reality and common sense. A woman who has dealt with both energy and the environment as her state’s chief regulator, and has an exemplary record.

A Governor who lead the nation in setting a path for her state to get 50 percent of it’s energy renewable sources by 2025. Exactly double the figure that Barack Obama proposed, but has done absolutely nothing to actually make anything happen, to move his proposal along.

A citizen who has a genuine love for the land. A genuine love for nature.

Then you have Al Gore, a Divinity school drop out who score barely passing grades in math and science. A total hack and hypocrite at every level.

At best, Al Gore is a loon, and actually believes the nonsense that he is peddling. But more likely, he’s like every other corrupt democrat/communist in America. Like Obama and his buddies at the Chicago Climate Exchange, and everyone else pushing things like cap and trade, Gore is set to make billions of dollars, off of this hoax!

That makes Al Gore a crook. A crook who makes Bernie Madoff look like a saint!

I read a comment yesterday that sums up “global warming” or “climate change” as well as it can be done. Global warming is the “pet rock” of the 21st Century. A big scam!

A big honking scam!

So let’s have a pay-per-view debate!

Let’s see the Arctic Fox take on the Goreacle. Take all of the millions of dollars it will raise and donate the money to charities that benefit our brave men and women in the military!

Some smart promoter needs to make this happen!

My money is on Sarah Palin!

Sarah PalinTalks Common Sense On Energy, Meanwhile…Obama’s Radical Government Seeks To Criminalize Breathing

Posted by Gary P Jackson on December 8, 2009

Sarah Palin is rightfully a happy woman tonight. Why? Because after all of her hard work as Governor, Alaskans, and really all Americans, are finally going to be able to access one of the richest oil and natural gas deposits in America.

We were looking for something from Sarah tonight, and this comes as a nice surprise:

Drill, Baby, Drill… Even Off-Shore

I commend Interior Secretary Salazar’s decision today to conditionally approve drilling at three exploratory wells in the Chukchi Sea off the northwest coast of Alaska; it’s a decision that’s been a long time coming. The area north of the Arctic Circle contains some of the world’s richest oil and gas reserves. U.S. Geological Survey researchers estimate that it contains 1.6 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and 83 billion barrels of undiscovered oil.

The international community recognizes the potential of Arctic off-shore drilling; it’s about time our government allowed us to compete with them by developing these rich reserves in an environmentally responsible way. As I said last April in my testimony before the Secretary during a federal hearing in Anchorage, “Alaska’s oil and gas resources can and should be a major part of the implementation of any creditable energy plan for our nation. Alaska has proven that these resources can be developed safely, but Arctic exploration and development is a slow, demanding process. Delays or major restrictions in accessing these resources for environmentally responsible development are not in the national interest or the interests of the State of Alaska.”

As an Alaskan and an American, I am very grateful for the decision today because it is a step in the right direction toward prosperity for Alaska and energy independence and security for America.

- Sarah Palin

This is actually quite a development today considering that Obama’s hand appointed radicals over at the Environmental Protection Agency just declared the very air you breath “dangerous.” Or more specifically, they declared the air you EXHALE dangerous.

We written for months about the radical crazies that have hijacked the so-called “green” movement. We’ve written how these communists are using the global warming hoax to gain unprecedented governmental powers and control over the population.

The communists intend to use the greatest lie ever told (global warming) as an excuse to re-distribute wealth on a global scale. Ahhh, the Marxist’s dream.

To the point: Today, for the first time in history, the radical, out of control, Environmental Protection Agency has declared a naturally occurring substance, in this case, carbon dioxide, a danger to human health.

Carbon dioxide has existed for billions of years. It is an essential element for all plant life to exist. For those who never actually went to school, which is evidently everyone at the EPA, most in Congress, and most certainly all of those in the White House: Humans need oxygen to breath, to live. In one of the neatest bits of our creator’s engineering, plant life, in turn, needs carbon dioxide to live.

Again, for those without the benefit of schooling: Humans, animals, and even fish, breath in oxygen, and exhale carbon dioxide. (CO2) But this is OK, because plants take in CO2 and through photosynthesis, “exhale” oxygen. This is one of the most ingenious set ups in all of nature.

This is why what the EPA has done is ludicrous to anyone with a lick of common sense. If CO2 was truly a bad thing, the solution would be as simple as planting more trees. Oh wait! We already do that!

From Yahoo News:

News:WASHINGTON – The Environmental Protection Agency took a major step Monday toward regulating greenhouses gases, concluding that climate changing pollution threatens the public health and the environment.

The announcement came as the Obama administration looked to boost its arguments at an international climate conference that the United States is aggressively taking actions to combat global warming, even though Congress has yet to act on climate legislation. The conference opened Monday in Copenhagen.

The EPA said that the scientific evidence surrounding climate change clearly shows that greenhouse gases “threaten the public health and welfare of the American people” and that the pollutants — mainly carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels — should be regulated under the Clean Air Act.

These long-overdue findings cement 2009’s place in history as the year when the United States government began addressing the challenge of greenhouse-gas pollution,” said EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson at news conference.

The action by the EPA, which has been anticipated for months, clearly was timed to add to the momentum toward some sort of agreement on climate change at the Copenhagen conference and try to push Congress to approve climate legislation.

This is a clear message to Copenhagen of the Obama administration’s commitments to address global climate change,” said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., lead author of a climate bill before the Senate. “The message to Congress is crystal clear: get moving.”

Under a Supreme Court ruling, the so-called endangerment finding is needed before the EPA can regulate carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases released from automobiles, power plants, and factories under the federal Clean Air Act.

The EPA signaled last April that it was inclined to view heat-trapping pollution as a threat to public health and welfare and began to take public comments under a formal rulemaking. The action marked a reversal from the Bush administration, which had refused before leaving office to issue the finding, despite a conclusion by EPA scientists that it was warranted.

Business groups have strongly argued against tackling global warming through the Clean Air Act, saying it is less flexible and more costly than the cap-and-trade bill being considered before Congress. On Monday, some of those groups questioned the timing of the EPA’s announcement, calling it political.

The implications of today’s action by EPA are far-reaching…individual Americans and consumers and businesses alike will be dramatically affected by this decision,” said Charles T. Drevna, the president of the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association. Drevna, in a statement, said “it is hardly the time to risk the remainder of the U.S. industrial sector in an attempt to achieve a short-term international public relations victory.”

The EPA and the Obama administration threatened to do this when their cap-and-tax bill first began to stall out. The determination of CO2 as a pollutant — which is patently ridiculous on its face — allows the White House to bypass Congress and begin dictating to producers on carbon emissions reductions.

In other words, this is yet another end run around Congress by the most radical and corrupt President in our nation’s 233 year history. A total usurpation of our Constitution’s separation of powers. It violates the idea of checks and balances our founders built into government.

This little ruling by the EPA gives them virtually unlimited power to regulate, literally, every facet of your life.

By classifying CO2 and methane (among other so-called greenhouse gases) it can inject itself into just about every industry in the US.

Energy production will be its primary target, but the EPA has also gone after coal mining on the basis of the Clean Water Act. It will certainly not be shy about using this new authority to kill coal mining altogether.

Now don’t forget that coal is our most abundant form of energy in America! We have several hundred years worth at present rate of usage.

Also, don’t forget, that China uses a lot of coal fired plants to generate electricity, and they couldn’t care less about the quality of air in the world. They don’t have the environmental protection mandates we do. Never will.

This nonsense will also impact agriculture, especially dairies and cattle ranching, as well as transportation. The entire manufacturing sector will have to answer for its “carbon output.”

To put it gently, cow farts are now considered hazardous, and if you eat at Taco Bell a lot…..

This sort of thing would be funny if these loons weren’t serious.

This really is the worst of all outcomes. The EPA process can be restrained by Congress, but it will take positive action for that to happen, and in most cases, would take capitulation from Barack Obama himself. Not likely from someone who thinks like this:

As you listen to this guy babble on, searching for whatever talking points his puppet master programed him with, remember this: This video was posted on You Tube on November 2, 2008. On that very day Sarah Palin demanded an explanation from the San Francisco Chronicle, who conducted this interview, as to why they had held this video from public view so long, especially since it was done in January of 2008!

The Chronicle, at the time, responded by noting that the video had been available on their website since January 17th of 2008. However, the Chronicle never reported on these quotes from Obama, and these statements certainly seem noteworthy enough to include in any look at Obama’s policies on energy.

Even more nefarious, is the fact they never provided a transcript of the interview, an almost automatic step for any meeting between national political candidates and the editors of a newspaper.

Why didn’t the Chronicle transcribe their meeting in the nine months between January and November?

Did they realize how damaging this could be to Obama’s hopes in the middle of the primaries and chose to quietly shelve the interview?

Not only does Obama talk about destroying the coal business, bankrupting it, he also shows an extraordinary amount of ignorance when it comes to nuclear power. This nimrod is supposed to be such a man of the world, an “intellectual heavyweight,”and yet he doesn’t understand that we have had a nuclear powered Navy for over a half century, well before he was born! Nor does he have the ability to comprehend that in France, 78 percent of it’s electricity is generated by nuclear powered plants. FRANCE!

You can read all about French nuclear power here.

In this clip from the same San Francisco Chronicle interview Obama arrogantly states, point blank, that under his plan electricity rates would “necessarily skyrocket.”

Let’s see, unemployment is at a 25 year high, energy is already costing too much, and this radical communist and his out of control EPA are going to take steps that will not only make our energy prices “skyrocket” but also drive absolutely every single manufacturing job we have overseas.

This is so far past irresponsible, and even reckless, that someone smarter than I will have to create a new word. Although feckless and treasonous just seems to roll off my tongue.

If you deliberately set out to destroy a nation, collapse it’s economy, I don’t think you could do a better job than Obama and his thugs are doing right now. Throw in “health care” and you have a complete recipe for destruction! Every single thing these people are doing is counterintuitive for those seeking success.

I really don’t get it. Our founding fathers fought a Revolution over a whole lot less than this. What is it going to take for the American people to say enough, is enough?

I know we all sit back and say “2010” but with less than a year into his presidency, Obama has shown that he has the capacity, and desire to create a considerable amount of damage that will take us years, if not decades to recover from, if it’s possible at all.

Think about it. It took Reagan almost all of his 8 year tenure in office to see America recover from the disaster that was the Jimmy Carter presidency. Even then, some of Carter’s lasting legacies are still helping destroy America today. One only has to look to the Community Re-Investment Act, the Carter idea that led to our currently distressed economy, because of the sub-prime mortgage bubble. Of course, not learning their lesson, the democrat/communists are working to get back into the same shady business that has all but destroyed the real estate market and the banking industry nationwide. They are pathologically stupid.

Another lasting legacy from Carter is the Department of Education, that was created under his guidance. This little jewel should serve as a huge warning to all of those who tell you not to sweat it, they’ll just undo whatever dangerous, reckless, or treasonous legislation Obama and his corrupt Congress enact when they take back Congress in 2010. (the latest GOP nonsense)

When Ronald Reagan ran in 1980 against Carter, one of the issues he ran on was shutting down the brand new Department of Education. It never happened, and our kid’s education has been in steep decline ever since.

As Reagan himself was quoted saying: “The closest thing the world will ever experience to eternal life is a government program.” What this means is if we don’t defeat all of this before it becomes law, we’re done.

About the only way Congress could stop the EPA’s effort to seize control of our lives, without Obama, would be to defund the agency, or at least its regulatory efforts. That certainly won’t happen with the current Congress. And again, 2010, and the mid-term elections, seem a lifetime away.

We live in dangerous times. Our nation, our way of life, is under assault by the most corrupt group of liars, cheats, thieves, and radical malcontents in our nation’s history.

What are you prepared to do?

Just as I was getting ready to publish this entry, I get an e-mail from a colleague. This sort of puts it all into focus, for those that still may not understand. You see, there is this huge “carbon credit” trading scheme out there, already in place. The idea being that “carbon credits” will be bought and sold like stocks on the various stock exchanges. Al Gore is involved in this kind of scheme, and stands to make billions if a cap and trade system passes.

The whole idea is this: Businesses will be arbitrarily assigned “carbon allotments” which amounts to the maximum amount of “pollution” (CO2) a business can emit. And these allotments will be assigned to pretty much every business there is. Now, if a business somehow is frugal with their mythical “pollution” (CO2) and doesn’t use their credits, they can sell those credits to companies that are going well past their allowed amount of “destruction to the environment.”

Now, let that soak in.

If these people really cared about the environment, really cared about global warming, they would just set up a standard, and fine businesses that failed to meet that standard. We already have some of that. But this cap and tax scheme has absolutely nothing to do with helping the environment, and everything to do with enriching a select few.

What got our attention though, is where this particular exchange, the CHICAGO Climate Exchange is located! Why is it all roads to evil lead to Chicago? The Chicago Climate Exchange is up and running already. There’s an impressive list of members all chomping at the bit to start buying and selling carbon credits, for a profit. One has to wonder just what the exact number of Obama cronies is who are part of this racket.

This brings up another question that was discussed in follow up e-mails to this revelation. Where are the liberals? No, not the moonbat, hateful “progressives” but what we call the “classic liberals.” The ones that, while being wrong on a lot of things, at least had some integrity about them. We know these people exist.

Just think of it this way. What if it was Haliburton, instead of the environmental loons and crooks, who was putting all of this together? Where would liberals be on this then? Also, isn’t big business and capitalism supposed to be “evil” to the so-called “progressives?” Didn’t Obama’s buddy Bill Ayers make a name for himself by bemoaning capitalism and pushing communism? (and well, blowing stuff up, and killing cops…allegedly)

I mean the whole mantra from the left has been about going after “the man.”

By the way, does anyone know what the first entity was that really pushed the idea of “carbon trading?”

Remember that little company called Enron?

That’s right, one of the larger financial scandals in our nation’s history, revolved around their trading schemes. Carbon trading was their next big scam coming down the pike before it was found out that everything they did at Enron was just smoke and mirrors, kinda like the Obama administration!

One could carry on about this for days and days, but the bottom line is this. Global warming, or as they now call it “climate change” (how ridiculous is THAT) is a hoax. It is indeed the greatest lie ever told. Yes, there are some true believers. Flat earthers who are easily manipulated. People who simply reject common sense for dogma. But for the most part, this hoax is about two things: Power and money. The power to control mass populations, something that is a congenital desire in the sociopaths who populate the democrat/communist party leadership. Money, well that’s only for the select few who drink the Koolaide. Those who join the religion of the left. The rest of you are not important, except for generating tax revenue, so they can keep their phony-baloney positions intact.

I ask you again, what are you prepared to do?

One last thing, for those that are still skeptics of us “global warming skeptics” or as I like to call us, “people with the ability to think for ourselves“, read this lengthy story from Time magazine, entitled The Cooling Of America, dated December 24, 1979. The hysteria de jour back then was the coming Ice Age, and the moonbat left was just as certain back then that we would all freeze to death if we didn’t “do something” as the moonbats who preach the lie of global warming are now! This is a must read if you want to understand just how little science there is to “climate science.” You can read the story here.

Oh, and by the way, I do believe in climate change. In Texas, this time of year, we see the climate change a lot. It can be 70 at mid day and in the 30’s by nightfall. It can be 30 and snowing one day and 65 and sunny the next. It’s called the weather, people!

Sarah Palin Demands Obama Boycott Copenhagen And Investigate Climategate: Obama Abruptly Announces He Will Postpone Trip

Posted by Gary P Jackson on December 4, 2009

Sarah Palin is living in Obama’s head, rent free. This happened so fast I didn’t even have a chance to write about Sarah’s demands in the first place!

Knowing that Obama is about to sign away United States sovereignty and make us subservient to a board of communists who want to use the global warming hoax, the greatest lie ever told, to redistribute the world’s wealth, Sarah has demanded that Obama not only boycott the conference, but investigate the entire global warming lie.

Here’s what she has to say:

Mr. President: Boycott Copenhagen; Investigate Your Climate Change “Experts”

The president’s decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made global warming. I support Senator James Inhofe’s call for a full investigation into this scandal. Because it involves many of the same personalities and entities behind the Copenhagen conference, Climategate calls into question many of the proposals being pushed there, including anything that would lead to a cap and tax plan.

Policy should be based on sound science, not snake oil. I took a stand against such snake oil science when I sued the federal government over its decision to list the polar bear as an endangered species despite the fact that the polar bear population has increased. I’ve never denied the reality of climate change; in fact, I was the first governor to create a subcabinet position to deal specifically with the issue. I saw the impact of changing weather patterns firsthand while serving as governor of our only Arctic state. But while we recognize the effects of changing water levels, erosion patterns, and glacial ice melt, we cannot primarily blame man’s activities for the earth’s cyclical weather changes. The drastic economic measures being pushed by dogmatic environmentalists won’t change the weather, but will dramatically change our economy for the worse.

Policy decisions require real science and real solutions, not junk science and doomsday scare tactics pushed by an environmental priesthood that capitalizes on the public’s worry and makes them feel that owning an SUV is a “sin” against the planet. In his inaugural address, President Obama declared his intention to “restore science to its rightful place.” Boycotting Copenhagen while this scandal is thoroughly investigated would send a strong message that the United States government will not be a party to fraudulent scientific practices. Saying no to Copenhagen and cap and tax are first steps in “restoring science to its rightful place.”

- Sarah Palin

It really doesn’t get much simpler than that. One of the many lies Obama has told America, and the world, is that he wants to restore science to “it’s rightful place.” It’s very good to see the Arctic Fox holding his feet to the fire.

Now obviously the Obama administration will spin this to no end, but I find it interesting that I first heard about this decision to “postpone” the trip while watching Friday’s Neil Cavuto Show on Fox News. The breaking news came only minutes after Sarah Palin’s demands were being discussed on the show!

No, I’m not implying they panicked after seeing Cavuto’s show and baled. After all, it’s been what,…..20 hours (?)……since Sarah first posted her demand? But it was certainly a funny coincidence.

I wonder if this will be global warming’s “death panels?”

Here’s the reporting from Fox:

President Obama on Friday abruptly altered the timing of his upcoming appearance at an international climate summit in Copenhagen, hoping to capitalize on steps by India and China and build a more meaningful political accord, the White House announced Friday.

“Based on his conversations with other leaders and the progress that has already been made to give momentum to negotiations, the president believes that continued U.S. leadership can be most productive through his participation at the end of the Copenhagen conference on Dec.18th,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a written statement.

“There are still outstanding issues that must be negotiated for an agreement to be reached, but this decision reflects the president’s commitment to doing all that he can to pursue a positive outcome,” he said.

The move means Obama will be at the summit on Dec. 18, considered a crucial period when more leaders will be in attendance, as opposed to his scheduled stop in Denmark on Wednesday on his way to Nobel Peace Prize events in Oslo.

It also means that Obama will be squeezing in a separate, 10th foreign trip before Christmas — a record pace of travel for a first-year president

Look, I’m a hard liner on the global warming hoax. This greatest lie ever told has done incalculable damage to humanity. Entire industries have been destroyed, or rendered unprofitable, over this. People in third world countries are starving because we are turning food into a seriously crappy motor fuel. We’ve spent untold billions, if not trillions, of dollars because of this.

Quite frankly, if I were in charge, I would demand Mr Obama be detained, and arrested for treason the very minute he stepped onboard Air Force One to go to this phony baloney “climate conference.”

There will be a lot more to come on this subject. For now, here’s a bit put together about one of the worst liars in this greatest lie ever told:
